The guys instead reach for a mixed 4-pack of hard ciders from ERIS Brewery and Cider House. The beer selection is often limited when you go for a bite at Eris, but you can always count on some top-notch ciders. As the guys make it through this variety pack, they discuss recent trips and stops in the Chicagoland suburbs.

I am pro-ship, pro-free speech/expression, and generally anti censorship, especially when it comes to the written word. (However, I do have my exceptions and am not an absolutist when it comes to free speech)

I enjoy dark, depressing, whumpy stories. If I write, draw, or enjoy something that offends you, move on- I don’t care for the sensibilities of cry bully’s, nor do I care if you think some dynamic of my work(s) or the fandom’s I’m in are problematic, per whatever pet issue seizes the masses.

‘Fevered Chains’: (Witcher fanfic) Iorveth had been ‘sick’ since he and his men left Saskia. The worse he got the more his men began to doubt him. A risky decision to raid a Nilfgaardian supply depot results in Iorveth being taken prisoner; wherein he catches the eye of a rather vicious Officer who has an unnatural fascination with the elven form. Roche, unwittingly, stumbles across his old rival during a successful ambush. The elf is withdrawn and sullen, after months of being subject to then unwanted attention of Nilfgaards finest. Maybe its pity, or something deeper, but Roche finds himself helping piece Iorveth back together.

Blood in the Courtyard: (Witcher fanfic) Vernon Roche was nine years old when he learned ‘why’ he was the only child growing up in the brothel.

Palace of Bones: (Witcher fanfic) Isengrim and Iorveth escape execution after the terrible fall out of The Peace of Cintra. Before they go their separate ways the two elves seek out a brief night of comfort in one another.

Communing with Nature: (Witcher fanfic) After escaping the noose and the fate which so many of his subordinates succumbed too, Isengrim is headed east. Encountering fellow war wary travelers is more of a boon than he suspected, even if one of them appears to be the former head of Redanian intelligence, Sigismund Dijkstra. He’d be loath to admit, but the dh’oine’s cunning and whit sooth his frayed mind like a salve—Sigi is a distraction from his past, and a very interesting one at that. When the human’s eyes linger on him, Isengrim can’t help gaze back.

Blood in Moderation: (Original work, lore and world building master post) BiM is a dark fantasy series that I’m working on, it is currently a WIP.
