Sometimes people are just NPCs with the quest ‚Give me your energy because I dont want to learn how to energizy myself‘ 🤷🏽‍♀️

I learned to skip those quests the very moment, when it’s clear there is no willing to heal ☺️🙏

Being an asshole is not in the DSM. Not everyone you hate is mentally ill and not everyone who does bad things is mentally ill either.

The DSM is a highly flawed and politicized way to define mental health disabilities that I have a lot of personal gripes with, but even THEY don't have "Shitty Asshole Disease" as a mental illness.

Commander Fox is done. Completely 🦊☕️

Finally I finished one of my elder WIPs 😂✨ And my dear folks, this post is also for a bit time in my drafts, too 🙈 The mood actually very fitting ☕️ *sigh* 😅 I figured that the Marshal Commander is really a special clone! I call him now the "WIP distraction Fox" 👀

He's always kind of lurking behind a corner in my mind, ready to jump in, spilling caf and doing this bone-freezing fox scream – only because he can and just give a sh*t! 🦊✨

And – the point is – he naturally only does this, when I really, REALLY want to finish a WIP and actually don't have time for him! But the vision of him and his caf and stress shenanigans tend to rampage my brain that chaotically in those situations, that I often kind of "Okay, great I'll do it" – like with this one 🤣 Completely crazy, but yeah, have a distraction Fox 🦊☕️♥️ Enjoy.

Some of you have already seen the timelapse of this piece, showing off my sketching process, the struggles and frustrations during drawing and concepting and else 😂🤷🏽‍♀️ Commander Fox is also the "WIP distraction with internal struggle dealing with caf and fun chaos"-Fox, so I cannot even properly complain! I don’t even know anymore why Fox is THAT done with everything, but maybe he only needs a reason to shower in full armor, what actually let me think, if he finds the „rain“ noises on his armor relaxing 🥹🦊 Or maybe Thorn brought him cold caf after the information, that Coruscant is burning again and people's sighting of another Zillo beast or something like that 😱🤯

💥 - What emotions do they have trouble dealing with?

CHEESE Guilt is the emotion that weighs the heaviest on his shoulders. He can laugh away his fear, and pick a brother (or partner, or massiff) to cuddle away the anxiety. But the guilt of all the lives he's not fast/skilled enough to save is something that keeps him awake at night, slowly chipping away at his resolve to face another day in this endless war. GAZE Loneliness. All the trauma this boy went through before finally settling into the squad left scars he's not sure how to heal nor deal with. It's the most apparent during missions, when – because of his position as sniper – he needs to split from the rest of the squad. He can manage it (so far), but the separation anxiety is always there, dancing in the back of his mind.

💤 - do they fall asleep easily? what helps them sleep?

CHEESE Usually, yeah. He's got the ability to fall asleep quickly - and to stay that way until the sun rises again, if no there's no emergency. But then The Horrors and Losses of War™ bring forth bouts of insomnia. When he can't sleep because of anxiety, Aid puts his training to work - either with cuddles to ground him, or herding every available squad member (including his massiff siblings) for an impromptu cuddle pile until he's calm enough to sleep. Or, he may choose to keep pulling shifts and all-nighters in the med bay until he blacks out in exhaustion :) GAZE As long as he's not alone, Gaze is the guy that, if left idle for five minutes, will nap. Doesn't matter how awkward or uncomfortable the surface (or lack of it, he's fine with napping standing up too), it's Nap Time. And because he doesn't snore, most of the time people won't even know he's offline – he doesn't really have the need to blink as his eyes don't dry out (he only does it out of habit).

☕️ - do they prefer hot or cold drinks? what is their favourite drink?

CHEESE Hot drinks, all the way! For him, nothing cold can ever beat the amount of comfort brought by a good cup of tea, caf, or hot cocoa. GAZE He's ambivalent about it, both cold and hot drinks have their merits! He is very fond of iced tea, though, so he may favor cold drinks a bit more than hot ones.

🌌 - what was the inspiration behind your oc? what was the first thing you decided about them?

CHEESE He was the last one of the squad to be created. At first, he was supposed to fill the “sunshine golden retriever, emotional glue” spot in the squad, but then – as it goes with ocs – he took over my brain and turned into a very much fleshed out character! And the first thing I decided about him? That he's a redhead 😅 GAZE Ah, Gaze, my beloved chew toy, my poor wet cat babygirl. He came to me in a vision while I listened to “The Horror and the Wild” by The Amazing Devil. I have to admit, he's still being worked on, and may have strayed a bit from the original 'vision' of what he was meant to be - but no complaints, I very much like the shapes he's taking inside my brain. And the first thing I decided about him was how did his eyes work and affected his (lack of) quality of life and demeanor.

✈️ G'ika loves to travel! The galaxy is huge there's so much to see!! That's why he felt like he needed to move out of his family's house, he needed more. Once he's on Coruscant he also starts traveling all over to find new homes and connections for deserting clones

🤍 1. G'ika cannot drive a speeder on Coruscant, it just doesn't click for him

2. G'ika has a disturbingly high pain tolerance

3. Despite drowning and having a near death experience as a kid, G'ika never developed a fear of swimming or anything like that. it sort of had the opposite effect and made him obsessed with bodies of water for a minute

☕️ after he moves to coruscant g'ika cannot survive without caf. he develops such a weird sleeping pattern you pretty much will not see him out in public without some sort of caffiene space drank. His drink, whatever it is, must be sweet

🤔 G'ika doesn't acknowledge sneezes or coughs, his family just never taught him a social cue for them and he doesn't bother to pick up any responses when he moves jfjshfksh dont expect any bless yous or excuse mes from him

he doesnt usually wear his hair down outside of the apartment

his whole personality seems to shift when in armor, he does itnon purpose. that armor confidence man its like wearing big stomping boots. G'ika likes to play up the tough guy act

I like both, but I drink more tea (specifically herbal tea) because that’s what’s safest for me to drink since I cannot have caffeine - I have a severe sensitivity to it. I don’t enjoy worrying whether or not coffee places will actually give me decaf when I ask for it (because I’ve been given full-caf before despite saying numerous times I can only drink decaf e_e) so I don’t have coffee that much - I would if I had more time in the morning to make it at home though.

And here he is – Captain Vaughn 🤩

Captain Rex didn’t feel like being Commander, but this is how we got Captain Vaughn, showing his loyalty and kindness only within moments in the 332nd company for Ahsoka (s7e9), so he's one of the underrated clones which would have deserved more sceentime *sigh* ♥️

We never got to see his face, so there’s so much space for head canons, isn’t it? 🥰 His look in this piece is inspired by this gorgeous look (<-) designed by @lonewolflupe 🫶 

I also want to share some process magic while I was working on Captain Vaughn, so ramble incoming 😁 Take a seat and have a caf ☕️ 

It’s always the eyes when I draw. They just lead the main energy of the character and that influences the face. So I sketched line after line and his face got clearer… with some unforeseen vibes! Since I’m not that fixed to templates anymore, there can be more variation, no matter how much I try to catch the right copy paste clone-face angles... or even colors 🤯 

Have a closer look into unusual clone eyes, oh yes 👀

Lupe and I were chatting about his lighter look with freckles in her artwork (a bit Tech color palette with golden and copper tones) and I told her that I don’t know why, but I feel like some heterochromia in his eyes 😀 So his eyes are like this now – not planned and unforeseen, like it is often when art takes over ✨

I really don’t know what the Kaminoans were doing during the cloning process 😂 but we got some varied clones – for example ‚icy eyes‘ Edge from the Tango company, or the blue eyed drunk one meeting Fives in front of the 79s (I named him ‚Blues‘ hehe 😜).

Without guiding my lines along a template, doing everything out of my mind, sometimes I might get either feeling like crooked fingers or odd sight, but this can be the point where the true art magic begins, because I’m not in charge anymore. I can only shrug and surrender to the flow and I love it 🥰

So I don’t know when it happened, but look at him… 👀 WHY does he look a bit like Echo? AND Rex? And there’s something soft in his eyes what reminds me of Kix, too? And it just fits his calm and loyal character!

For Commander Wolffe for example it could never be this face and it would never happen in the drawing process like that, it wouldn’t fit, but… I’m rambling – I could never point to the lines or the moment where things like this happen. Yeah, they’re all clones and share the same face, but faces do shape after their thoughts, experiences and their lives – more frowning or more smiling 😀

Oh, I love this. Not really being in charge while drawing, but achieving so much more without being under the illusion of the concept of control what is we’re all be taught… holy force I’m really rambling and diving

So I got successfully ✨ WIP distraction FOXed again 😂🦊☕️✨ Maybe I‘m cursed, but I can’t complain 🤪 The more work load I feel, the more fun chaos my brain craves and sometimes (when I have to appreciate great art and artists for example 🫶) I give in to the ever-lurking internal Commander Caf, allover stressed, sleep deprived, tousled and ready to eat my brain 😂☕️🦊

Holidays were weird 🤯 I got sick, I got unsettled, I did my first fanfiction-y writing (wtf? I write?) and my developing artstyle decided to unsettle me additionally, confusing my WIP and a genuinely asking feeling what for Maker’s sake is actually happening ❤️‍🩹

So with all my current whatevers I got inspired to do some more clarifications 🙏✨

What is that Chaos Squad thing?

For those who don’t know – don’t get confused, the „Chaos Squad“ is working on a definition and is in it’s finding phase 😂 As I see this, we‘re fun chaotic artists / writers / else collab group and want people to enjoy fun and inspiring-each-other-into-creating escalations with us in the Star Wars fandom 🤩🫶✨

I can only speak for myself, but like some others of us, I play with my Star Wars OCs and the art-, reblog- or comment-chaos gets OC „flavoured“. But I’m not a roleplayer 😀 I stay artist Eobe and use for Chaos Squad activities my OCs mainly to give myself an art- and scene-fitting face insert in our together creations! ☺️ Feel yourself always invited to reach out if you want to ask something! ☕️

This is an artblog and it stays an artblog ✍️ my focus is doing art, collabs and interactions mainly in the Star Wars universe, but I love to do art and crossovers with other fandoms if I like 🤩✨… or some more original art, if I manage to get over my actual shyness 😗

Gorgeous @eclec-tech 🫶 lured me back to AO3 as co-creator for continuing „The Spicy Fox“ story ☕️🦊! Check it out, the new chapter is so much fun to read and I love to have the honor to accompany it with my artworks – a new one freshly added at the end of the chapter, already showing some progress in my artstyle (if my eyes aren’t jinxed like everything else seems to be currently 😱)! The artwork will get its own posting of course, but I wanted to opt in back to you all with dragon 🐉✨

As I also absolutely unforeseen managed to write a „thing“ despite blockades – my unintroduced clone OC took over when I was massively unsettled and started his Matrix / Undercover coded loner mission against the inhibitor chips, knowing way too much… I think I call it „The Source Code“ 👀✨ and I‘m very tempted to deliver you the continuation that already roughs my brain (some were also asking for it 🙈 thank you so much)!

So long story short (what a joke actually!? 😂)

There will be more art again soon hopefully (and maybe even those writings? Whatever maintenance is currently happening in my head 😂)

Hello there! What software and brushes do you use for drawing? Brushes look familiar for me so I just curious :3

Hi 🤩 I mainly work with Procreate on iPad Pro with the basic brush set. That’s the short answer to give you the opportunity to zone out for the incoming bunch of an artist‘s love for their tools and special features (*Bad Batch Tech infodump mode inhale* ☝️🤓)

Thank you for this question, now get yourself a big mug of caf ☕️ to get rambled because I love to talk about details with a lead to the special meaning behind 💫

🖌️ The watercoloury outlines brush which I favor for my underrated clones artwork series is named Pine and the chalky, flat or often cloudy background color brush is named Oberon, both from the brush set ‚Zeichnen‘ (drawing) – I don‘t know the original brush names ☺️

🖋️ Clean, dynamical outlines and speedy shading (especially my beloved crosshatching for dopamining ✨) I love to do with a brush from the ‚Tinte’ (ink) brush set, the German name is ‚Tuschezeichner‘ what means technical pen, but for me that’s quite irritating, because it doesn‘t behave like the technical pens I use 😂

…why do they translate them at all 🤷🏽‍♀️ but maybe I use them not like others? Is that possible? Why do they translate some of them but not all of them… Eo, careful with your digressing sentiment bunnies lollopping in every possible direction…

☝️ The small divider is made with the Pine brush and the big divider is lined and hatched with Tuschezeichner and colored with Oberon ☺️

🎨 And last but absolutely not the least I use the Airbrush for soft and non-pattern or structural coloring, especially the lighting in the faces and the eyes coloring for gaining this deep glowy shine which is so important to me 🤩 big shiny eyes to make also the beholder‘s eyes shine! ✨

The lesson of the artwork in a room

In my art I love to focus on making the soul of a beeing, a concept or an idea not only visible but palpable. It‘s one of my strongest beliefs and my personal experience, that showing the glistening soul and pure essence of something can be that powerful and inspiring, so the beholder gets energy and courage to face their shadows, heal and grow with the own personal topics in their individual time 🕯️

Some may now think I‘m just the butterfly chasing lil girl in the sunlight I am though 🤩🦋 but constantly working myself through the given shadows of life carry me at my state of development to the thinking, that the duality of our world is a question of the personal decisions we come to in every moment of our lives – no matter how big or small they are ☺️☕️

So I mostly – if able – I choose positive thinking even if I don’t feel like in those moments and I think this is called mind hygiene (is that valid English?). And it’s also a big part to allow myself, that this is not possible in every moment and in that case, that it’s okay. Really okay. We’re human in here. No robots with malfunctions to get tinkered until we work again.

The trick for me is just to look at (even too) heavy things the same way like on to an artwork. Firstly, recognize: You always have a choice. You don’t have to react on the most incidents in the very same second! Fast and people pleasing or out of heated emotion reactions aren’t wise but unconsciously taught as neccessary, often as trauma response. Even during an emergency it makes no real difference if you rest and breathe just for some seconds to avoid panic or mistakes, so no excuses except you’re the automation type and a break would disturb the flow or tell me honestly if you think otherwise I’ll never stop learning ☺️

So if it’s not an emergency but everyday challenges, for me it’s just like this with heavy things or art: Taking myself the time I need (as soon as possible in an appropriate moment) to sort things more with my heart and stomach, not only with the ever gear wheeling head of mine ☺️ My brain might be big or is it small and just feels big who can say and often it really hurts, but I‘m aware that it‘s too small for this world. I‘m under no obligation to understand everything. In here – just a little human making a difference by mere existence and leaving footsteps whether I hustle or not.

But why even look at art or heavy things? Why not getting rid the fastest way? Why does it tend to linger and getting rid of often just doesn’t work properly or for good? Here is the connection: Heavy things and art have in common, that they’re imprinting and this is none about choice. Not really. How to deal with that, sounds too much, doesn’t it? So give the art way a chance to solve that.

In my experience art is something, where you can take a break from looking at, but not forever as long as it’s in your room. It influences the atmosphere and it will draw you in, slowly or rapidly, if you like or not – there will be the breaking point where you won’t be able to avoid looking at anymore.

Do I really want to hide from it until it gets me or do I face it and how? Hard confrontation is what the most of us had to learn, but there is the art way: I decide to look at it to my own conditions, preparing myself with breathing, posture checking and providing myself with a mug of caf or choc ☕️ 

And this is just one of the many lessons of art for us: Take yourself time to sort things out, but do it before it gets you from behind, taking the decision from you and catching you unarmed. It‘s okay to take a break but recognize that completely looking away is nearly impossible and the trial to avoid it is getting more and more hurtful. So I recommend to choose the break consciously and then look at it secure and with a cozy distance if you need it ☕️🫶🏼 but look at it.

So knowing that there’ll be always heavy things thrown at me by life itself, with the art way it‘s my mere choice how I want to feel most of the time of my life: Heavy or light? Problem stressing or a chance to grow?

In my opinion that‘s not even the whole question by the way: I love to ask for the colors and shadings between, because the beauty of life experience isn’t always bright. I love the light breaking through shadows and mists more than the solely display of light or dark. I love scars, I love imperfect blossoms, I love leaves falling down and sprouts growing out of concrete. This is the beauty of duality and how I manage to grow in this world. I don’t avoid. How could I? Behind fright it is inspiring. This is art.

At the end and under the line, all I see is the potential to grow steadily and inevitable into the own pure essence 😎✨
