Please demand credit in Sun Haven!

Hi, I deleted my sun haven posts cause they’re not crediting those who worked on this game. Please demand in Steam game reviews and public posts for them to credit the game or YOU won’t buy it and will tell others to do the same. They especially think they can keep ignoring this because the game is coming to the Switch in multiple regions.

Tldr: publicly demand they make a credits page!

"Call Me Geno"

I imagine as the seven Star Spirits of the Star Sanctuary are the highest ranking in Star Haven, Geno has a great deal of respect for them. The Star Spirits, of course, respect him fully in return for being the one to take the initiative of going down to collect the pieces of the Star Road and repair it, even when its destruction meant the all Star Spirits, including him, would be too weak to manifest on the surface without some sort of vessel.

When Geno returns to Star Haven, he's unsure what others will make of his newfound identity drawn from the hand-carved doll he possessed during his adventure below. But the other Star Spirits were more than happy to adjust accordingly and quickly switched to calling him by his new name when asked.

Geno Is Not From The Comet Observatory

A hypothesis came to my attention recently and I felt like addressing this hypothesis because of the mistakes it makes about the Mario lore. The hypothesis that Geno is a star warrior sent by an unknown higher authority, and the hypothesis claims that this higher authority is Rosalina. The evidence that is presented for this hypothesis is that as they claim Rosalina rules over star people, and protects the cosmos.

The first problem is Rosalina doesn't rule over the stars, she raises baby stars aka Lumas. While she is a Princess she is less of a ruler, and her role actually a mother to the Lumas. She is not the only character we see take up such a role, Merle alongside some Ninjis watch over Star Kids as they grow up.

But the main reason why Rosalina didn't send Geno is because Geno is from Star Road not the Comet Observatory. This is also interesting given the presented hypothesis has reference to Geno's mission to repair Star Road. Now onto who actually sent Geno, it was the 7 Star Spirits of Star Haven which is connected to Star Road. The Star Spirits are the ones that go about granting the wishes of the people of Mario's world, they are that higher authority.

With that being said I believe this hypothesis that places Rosalina in the seat of that higher authority somewhat plays off the incorrect idea people have that Rosalina is a deity and the one who reset the universe. Rosalina is not a deity nor did she reset the universe, the Lumas were the ones who reset the universe.

Hello! Trying to update more frequently, if you could not tell.

Currently, I'm fixing up the CGs. This includes updating shading and lighting, as well as removing some effects I don't use in my art anymore (such as the "stray strands of hair" look, especially noticed on Aubrey and Vampire King's older CGs)

In coding, I completed Jade's gift coding! I have Beatrice now, and then I'll move onto characters like Eli, Fool and Allen! I have also coded it so the player can't break into the majority of homes like they could before past certain hours. the exception is Jade's house, because her house unlocks at 8pm, while the majority of other houses lock at 8pm.

This was inspired specifically by Story of Seasons/Harvest Moon, a wonderufl life, where I distinctly remember standing outside for hours for people to wake up so I could enter their homes. Replicating the nostalgia or something.

Will update later on with more things, but I've made significant progress lately and I'm proud. Thank you for reading!

had my first masks session today :3 we didnt finish character creation bc we had limited time so we didnt get to relationships/when our team came together, but characters are mostly finalized and im so excited to gm this

janus - sara/osseus, popular kid with horrifying bone growth abilities. her friend/crush thinks osseus is a monster!
