Everything changed for you when Juyeon walked into your life.

No, literally.

Well, maybe not…literally.

You remember the prominent eyebags you’ve carried for the last month since university started. The new semester has weighed you heavier than the headache that is arising from the lack of sleep and the missed attempt to get your daily caffeine content since you slept through your alarm. At the very least, you’re thankful that everything is now electronic because you are so unprepared to be commuting to campus with a heavy mind, heart, eyelids and straps on your shoulders that would surely give you a very sore back.

That day started horrendously. You really thought that the alarm was the only thing that the universe threw at you for their entertainment but it was the embarrassing fact that you dozed off during class. Your elbows were propped up too comfortably against the desk and the perfect temperature of the lecture room didn't make it any easier for your natural melatonin to kick in. The next thing you knew, your palms cupped your cheek and there was this loud bang that was accompanied by the sharp pain on your cheekbone when you hit the wooden desk.

Everything is going awesome and you just attracted around a hundred students back to you. Thankfully your lecturer didn't take it to offense and shot you an emphatic smile.

You guessed then after that the universe felt bad for the negative attention that you got and they canceled the next class on your filled weekly schedule. Usually, you would be annoyed at the sudden change but this gave you a little hour to bask in the sun, the open green space and your favourite cup of beverage wrapped protectively by your hands.

Only to find out that you left your wallet at home.

“I’m sorry,” you said to the worker who tried her best to reassure you and to take your time as your frantic fingers ran through the items in your bag.

Your knees fell to the ground and sweat started to creep against your forehead and to the side of your head, a silent reminder to be mindful of the long line of students who are mostly probably just as stressed as you are in their university journey. The lighting above you helped with your sight in your receipt-filled bag but suddenly, the long papers with their minuscule printings became hard to read and a deep voice stated his order.

At first, your instinct was to defend yourself, tell the person who cut in line and added an order between you and your caffeine to wait a little bit longer but his choice of words registered into you before you could voice out anytime.

“I'll add an iced Americano with the order, please.” And then the familiar beeping sound of a successful transaction rings.

Your neck cranes up towards the stranger that only made your day easier and you couldn't help but let out a gentle gasp. A sharp pair of eyes yet soft and curious like a cat, his perfectly shaped nose and the slight upturn of the corner of his lips with the smile that beams down on you. 

The chain necklace around his neck dangles above you and you were sure it hypnotised you to say, “It's an angel.” These were your first words to Lee Juyeon.

“Ah,” the recipient of the compliment could only blush first at your words, a hand sneaking up to mindlessly scratch his nape. “We should at least get out of the line.” 

Now it's your turn to have your cheeks heat up at the realisation that you're blocking everyone else’s caffeine intake.

You thought that maybe Juyeon would just walk away and wait for you to join him on the other side of the table with the hanging ‘Pick up orders here' sign hanging from the beige ceiling. Yet, he crouched and helped you sort out your materials, collecting your pencil case and books into one arm, the other swiftly scooping up the straps of your bag along his other forearm.

Your eyes couldn't help but widen at your empty hands, and you were flustered at how he was still holding onto your things even when the customer who stood behind him joined you both after paying. Juyeon’s bangs shook when he refused to give your things back, insisting that you should be the one to carry the coffee instead. 

“Coffee is important.” He convinces you with that warm smile of his. “Don't drop it!”

With the promise to pay him back for another cup, came a few promises to help with common subjects and overlapping knowledge. And with time, came the fluttering feeling in both your hearts that only grew when you comforted each other in the long nights leading to assignments and exam periods that came all too quickly but passed by excruciatingly slow.

Juyeon made it all worth it though. You walked out of the last two-hour prison of the semester to be greeted with your usual reward packed in a paper bag. If it was anyone else but Juyeon, the contents of the bag would be mushed as you hug it close to you but it's the person that you have missed so much that gets your love first.

“You called me last night, bubs,” Hearing his voice not through the help of technology is more refreshing and you couldn't help but tighten your hold around his figure. 

“Every day is missing Juyeon day.” 

“Well for me, every day is a happy day when you're in my life.”

It's a line that he has said to you many times even before he started dating you. Juyeon tried to make the line more interesting each time but one day, mixed with his tiredness and excitedness of finally seeing you, it became the line that revealed his adoration for you.

Hand in hand, Juyeon's thumb caressing the back of your palm, your right arm closely stuck to his left, you both sway and skip to the nearby beach to relish in each other’s company with nature. The light salty breeze scent hits you before you can even see the gigantic natural blue space that seems endless and seamless with the blue sky. As your outfit becomes one with the direction of the wind and the sun is still bright enough for you to know even when your orbs are hidden beneath your eyelids. It’s the little moments like these that the Earth seems to be so rich in beauty and life becomes beautiful although you’ve been studying endlessly for the past three months. 

You couldn’t help but let your mind wander to the body of water that eventually begins to seep into your view as you walk up the small hill. You imagine the school of fish including the friendly dolphins to the misunderstood sharks and all the shapes and sizes of the life forms in there, some dependent on their family whilst some choosing to live alone. 

That’s why you’ve always been so enamoured by the living, along with the sea plants that they harmoniously live with. 

You wonder what kind of thoughts these creatures have as they live in a world much bigger than the land you stand on and if they ever want to explore the whole ocean like most people would love to see the landmarks scattered across the world. If they visit the landmarks of the ocean, would they even remember it? Or would they just swim away, finding it more than satisfactory with the fact that they’re free, especially those who swish through the water with company?

Same with life in the sky, do they ever get tired from flying? Like some people who are scared of a large body of water but are already mid-journey, how do they persevere in their flight and keep going? Do they sometimes look at human transportation and hope that they could bask in that luxury as well? Sleep in the moving vehicle and relax your tense muscles against the cushioned interiors even if it’s just for ten minutes. You want to know the answer to that and maybe, you’ll be able to learn something from the other life form.

You wish sometimes you would be one of them but it’s hard to say so as well because all forms of life experience different hardships and it’s impossible to generalise anything, nor is it truly fair to say one has it better than the other.

That’s when life becomes so complex and beautiful. The fact that you’re so small in the context of the horizon that stretched too far for you to see and comprehend, leaves you appreciating the small things in life.

For you, the arms encircling your middle remind you that no matter what hardships you face, you’ll be able to safely fall back onto someone. That you can freely cry without judgement and that life is lovely whenever he’s in it. Juyeon steals a kiss from your lips before placing another one on your cheek. Your eyelashes flutter open and you swear that Juyeon’s smile is brighter than the sun that smiles down on you both and louder than the crashing waves against the eroding rocks.

And whenever he asks you, “Feeling better?” You know that Lee Juyeon is the one person that you can answer the question truthfully and genuinely.

You both settled with a picnic blanket underneath a substantial amount of coverage from the sun by the park near the beach, the crashing ocean waves still in sight. You observe the tree above you dancing freely in the winds while the birds seem to sing for both of your accomplishments. 

When you look back down by the cue of a single, proud hand clap, you're greeted with numerous small glass containers clinking next to each other. The colours from the neatly presented food only lifted your energy further and your boyfriend’s orbs glimmered more with the help of the sun that still peaks through from the leaves above.

Juyeon complied when you asked him for a bite of his homemade kimbap and spring rolls. The flavours instantly make you nod. “I refuse to believe that your mum didn't make this.” 

Your boyfriend’s smile flattened, dipping further into a frown, “She helped but I did all the cooking and rolling!” 

“Okay, you cute clingy baby.” Leaning in to press a quick kiss against his pouting lips. “I’m just joking around with you.” 

To Juyeon, the peck is way more than just unsatisfactory and his thoughts about it are clearly reflected first from his eyes. Then, his hand landed next to the food box on his far left and made a sweeping motion on the cotton blanket to the right, pushing all of the obstacles between you and him. His knees slide his body closer to you that was once on the other side, and now with your boyfriend only looking at you with the softest, loving gaze between his overgrown bangs, you couldn’t help but purse your lips momentarily. You couldn’t let out a question or comment but that changed in the blink of an eye when leaned in Juyeon, replacing your growing confusion with a muffled chuckle instead.

A soft groan vibrates to your lips, Juyeon complaining about how there was nothing to laugh about—not when his soft lips are between yours. A palm made its way around the back of your neck, pulling your still extensive smile against his more serious ones. Eventually, with the way that Juyeon poured his love into you, you’re determined to do the same to the only person who would only let you claim his lips. A part of his blue and white sweater is now captured in your fist but it did nothing to your heartbeat which starts to pick up whenever Juyeon pulls away to adjust his lip’s position on yours. 

The subtle nose nudges only served your fingers to trail up his arm that held you close, tracing along the vein that started near his elbows and ran his wrist near your pulse on the side of your neck. Now, with the way that your thumb brushes softly on his soft skin, Juyeon could melt further into you, leaning in further to deepen his presence to you. Whenever he pulled back, you would be the one chasing after him pulling on his sweater, wanting to indulge in his loving space even more.

“Who’s the clingy one now?” That lands him a shy hit to his chest that only made him let out a weightless chuckle in the air. “The love of my life and the only one for me,” he whispers sweet nothings as your foreheads kiss each other, a sweet gaze grazing upon your facial features. “I love you, bubs.”

So maybe you weren't hypnotised at all that day. Maybe, the universe didn't hate you after all. Maybe, this was all meant to happen even though you did go through some stress when the sequential events happened.

“I love you more.”

But at least, the universe gave you a free coffee.

Two, you really did meet an angel named Lee Juyeon.

And three, just like how he holds the day when you confess to him that you love him back, you repeat the words that he said to you at the start of all your lovely days, “Every day is a lovely day when you're in my life.”

Phineas and Ferb Season 5A Initial Reactions

Yep, we're here. And Disney+ (regrettably) is dropping the entire first half of the season on the platform. So I'm gonna post my episode reactions here. I'm gonna try and keep things short and snappy, not only because I know I could EASILY get carried away breaking things down (I'm gonna try and do those later however), but because I wanna see these new episodes! Curse you binge model!

Cloudy With a Chance of Mom

I've already talked about Summer Block Buster since it released earlier, so I'm gonna jump right to this, and at most acknowledge it in relation to this being the second half of that story.

Oh yeah Kyle Menke storyboarding this big opener, not surprised. Think the other boarders are new, Chris Ybarra the director did storyboards on MML tho!

Well that was fucking awesome. Big explosive opener, lots of funny moments but also a surprising amount of proper pathos even as we're looking at such an absurd situation with Linda being vaporised meaning the literal vapour that was Linda's remains condensed into a cloud. Doof I guess never tested it on anything living, lol. Funniest parts were Baljeet trying to show off constantly and Doof getting his new plan from Monogram. Loved that everyone got their moment here, even Irving got a sweet moment at the end where Candace hugged him and asked him to take this year's family picture! Even Perry helped saved Linda too! And this year's picture isn't just the family but all of their friends too!!!!! God I love this show. Animation for the most part was good, any issues are just nitpicks/adjusting to Snipple... that being said, I think someone forgot to animate Baljeet in the group hug with Linda, because he's just standing there, and Isabella is hugging just him even though I feel like it's meant to be her participating in a group hug? Uh, win for Isajeet shippers, I guess? :P But gosh what a start, if this is a showcase of what we're getting then bring it on!

Submarine Sandwich Submarine

Okay the modified title sequence is a little tacky, the old animation with the edits to Phin's shirt and the updated voice lines are kind of jarring. Do think it's kind of neat the images at the end are upcoming eps this season instead of Season 4's though, kind of a nice tease of what's come.

Also they animated Isa's entrance so well, so cute and flirty, feels almost like a callback to her OG entrance in Rollercoaster

wow has isabella been saving buford's ass a lot lately, to the point buford seems to call her "little miss safety patch", wonder if this is an allusion to time between summers or just general backstory

So first regular ep, wasn't super extraordinary but I still enjoyed it! Many nice gags that got genuine laughs out of me, and definitely a wild time for Candace, that's for sure. IDK how they got in and out of the Mariana Trench so fast, but it's a cartoon. :P The safety thing was kinda random but it does make sense, Isabella knows how to be safe BECAUSE she regularly does dangerous shit, Buford just wants to rush in without thinking (and again, if the patch thing was literal, love the implication of stuff between Summers). Don't have much to say on the B plot besides there being some pretty funny moments and a few neat interactions.

Also, first ep from new writer Oscar Lemus, co-written with PnF regular Joshua Pruett! I'm sure the giant fish was Josh's idea, lol. Director is James Kim, who storyboarded on MML. One new boarder, but also Wendy Grieb who was on OG PnF.

License to Bust

That was also pretty neat! Again, nothing too extraordinary or outstanding, but it's classic PnF, which is great to see! Lots of really funny moments here, love the gecko gear, love that the driving instructor (Brian?) not only was super impressed with Candace but actually related to her (also wow, his sisters seem way nastier than PnF if they're mocking him)? Song is probably gonna grow on me too. Nice to have Kim Roberson back too, she's been on the show since Season 1 and well there's a reason they had her around for so long! Doof plot had fun moments, also kinda funny that Doof actually did something good by driving that pregnant woman to the hospital. Good guy Doof is still around in there! Also lol, guess another ice-cream fell out of the air once Buford was satisifed with his pork.

Dry Another Day

Also not sure if all the swimsuits for the kids are returning, I think at least Phineas had orange shorts vs blue ones.

Also, first ep from Sunny Karnan! He definitely has a hang of the PnF style, I'll say that!

Oh yeah, first Stacy speaking appearance! Now we just need Jeremy.

Deconstructing Doof

WAIT THAT WAS THE ORIGINAL PHINEAS DRAWING ON SHAMAI'S BOARD

HMM... well that was interesting! Definitely one I'm going to be eager to revisit. Less laugh out loud, but Dr Shamai's performance alone carried so much humour to it. Shamai himself was a really memorable one off character, the idea of an outside perspective realising what's going on and they basically become obsessed with it only to be driven mad when the truth can't be exposed is... wild. The songs were neat too, especially the therapy one. The hype for this ep was worth it. A little confused about some of the timeline implied by the first song, like is therapy only talking about last Summer, or this one too? But yeah, lots of really neat moments (I love that Baljeet was surprisingly close to getting Candace's whole deal, he's not exact but he's on the right track... also Ferb saying nothing in the interview, lol), and a very unique protagonist in Shamai (I keep writing Shumai cuz of a Danganronpa ship thing where that's a character's nickname given by the other person lol). The disco looks were cute too when that showed up. Also this ep is unique for showing stuff from an extended period of time. But yeah, very unique premise that shows there's still more things that can be done with this wild show.

First ep from Olivia Olson! Also written with her dad Martin, which doesn't surprise me.

Before I forget - neat how we still have the old style credits instead of the slide show thing MML and HaG does. Still yet to get a unique scene but hey replaying the songs is always nice.

Well that was a fun one. Josh clearly wanted to show off a love of books and reading. Lots of funny moments and weird goofy Doof plants. Surprised there was no direct callback to eg Pharmacists or something. The Doof plants singing is weirdly catchy. Not much else to say, I enjoyed it a lot! ...okay, fine, they seemed to like putting Phineas and Isabella together quite a bit, lol.

Feral Ferb????

Well that was neat! Glad this episode built exactly on the premise it sets up. Only thing I think wasn't necessary was the Phineas scene where he declines Perry being chipped, I feel like that didn't make too much sense (unless you wanna read into it and it's him subconsciously remembering Agent P but that's another story). The stuff was Candace was funny, the pet wash was cute with a neat song, and Perry outsmarting Doof was very cool and amusing.

I liked this one a lot! I don't talk about it as much but I enjoy Carl a lot, so getting an episode focused on him was really neat. Guy really is working his ass off, poor dude. Monogram at least pays him for the pizza and says he'll validate his parking? So Monogram's still being shit, but he's giving Carl breadcrumbs... it's something. I really loved Tyler Mann's speech at the end, like you could really feel for Carl there. He really is just only sticking with the unpaid internship because he's that passionate about the job. But yeah, especially with stuff like worsening cost of living, I think Carl's story is gonna be very relatable to many. The bit with the kids play cross continental lacrosse was neat too, IDK if the people in Kilimanjaro were the same ones as Save Summer but I do love how this kinda lowkey expands the world they have regardless.

Okay this one was actually really good! WOW THAT WAS SOMETHING ALRIGHT. Honestly, it might just be my personal investment in Isabella, but wow, this was something. Surprisingly tense. Like you knew SOMETHING was wrong, but you couldn't pinpoint what, but then everything just descends into further chaos as Isabella is the only one staying level headed... until even her limits are tested. Okay, the Doof stuff was fun and cute with Perry tagging along. But yeah... Fireside Girl chaos. They had no goal, they just wanted to be chaotic and follow their own interest. Kinda reminds me of "The Giggle" in Doctor Who (also rip using anarchy as a perjorative, actual anarchists believe in genuine cooperation). What I have to mention though is... Isabella didn't give in to the effects until very late. I definitely would love to hear if there's a specific reason why she managed to hold onto her sanity the longest, but my personal take is that she just has the strongest will, especially having to run the troop and all. But of course, even she has limits and can't fight this force forever... making fun of Phineas definitely seemed like one of the breaking points (she even recognised she wasn't feeling herself), but also damaging the Fireside Girl book was probably the final straw, given this is what she devotes herself to so much being treated so flippantly. Any will to hold on to being a rational leader was then gone, so time to duke it out. Gosh, I hope Phineas and Ferb have a chill time when they come back over. But yeah, the cute sweet but tough girls who always work together being made to embrace discord... this was begging to happen at some point, lol.

And she's actually in the process of re-recording all of the ACOTAR audiobooks to be released with the 10th anniversary of ACOTAR this spring.

The Spiderman AU! This one is funny because I first became interested in it last summer and was thinking of doing a multi chapter that would span from the two meeting all the way to identity reveal and getting together. But then I burnt out and quit writing for like 8 months 😭 so now when I went back to it I was like…okay I have no idea where this is going. But I still want to do something Spider-Man! So I settled on an established relationship one shot that I think will be pretty cute. As far as who’s who I did make Keith spider man. I do truly believe either could be spider man as they both share traits with the usual character type (Keith has the backstory, Lance has the flirty/jokey demeanor, etc) Keith being spider man just fit better for my premise lol.

Watch: A Bat Lands On THE PRETTY RECKLESS Singer TAYLOR MOMSEN's Leg During Concert In Spain

According to Metal Journal, a bat landed on the left leg of THE PRETTY RECKLESS singer Taylor Momsen during her band's May 29 performance at Estadio La Cartuja in Seville, Spain as the support act for AC/DC.

After playing the fifth song of THE PRETTY RECKLESS's set, "Witches Burn", Taylor addressed the crowd, saying: "You guys are pointing at something, and I wanna know what you're saying." She then looked down at her leg and noticed the bat, after which she return to the microphone and exclaimed: "There's a fucking flying bat on my leg right now. Can someone help me, please? I must really be a witch."

A stage quickly hang came over a removed the bat, prompting Taylor to say: "Gracias. It's all right. And the bat's fine. He's gonna be my new friend," before adding, "Holy fuck."

Guitarist Ben Phillips then told the crowd: "Well, that hasn't happened before." Momsen went on to say: "I'm telling you. I'm a fucking witch. I attract the bats. Someone, bring out a black cat. It's gonna be great."

Phillips said to the audience, "Gracias for pointing it out," before Momsen added: "I thought you were pointing at my SOUNDGARDEN bracelet. And I was, like, 'Oh. Fucking they like SOUNDGARDEN. Awesome."

During an appearance on the May 6 episode of SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation With Eddie Trunk", Taylor was asked about the progress of the songwriting and recording sessions for THE PRETTY RECKLESS's fifth album. She said: "I don't have [release] dates for you, but we booked — we've locked up the studio for eight months. It takes us a while to make a record. But it was going amazingly [before we paused the sessions in order to hit the road]. Hopefully when we pick back up in September, it'll be the same kind of flow and everything will just jell. But a lot of it's written. I'm sure that more will be written when these experiences happen and then new songs [arise] out of them. So I'm sure that there'll be some more songs coming. But I don't have dates. But it was going great, and we had just started; we really haven't started at all, but there's written stuff. So that's a start, I guess. But as far as recording, we hadn't really gotten into it yet."

This past January, THE PRETTY RECKLESS shared a photo of Taylor in the studio with Jonathan Wyman, who co-produced THE PRETTY RECKLESS's latest album, 2021's "Death By Rock And Roll", apparently confirming that Wyman has re-teamed with the group for the upcoming LP.

In a May 2023 interview with Ronni Hunter of the 99.7 The Blitz radio station, Momsen revealed that she and her THE PRETTY RECKLESS bandmates had commenced work on the follow-up to "Death By Rock And Roll".

"We're in a great headspace," she said. "We're just having fun with it, and wrapping up the tour cycle of 'Death By Rock And Roll'. And then new record — and it's next chapter. We've already kind of started it… We've gotten into a studio; we've stepped foot into a studio. So that's saying something for us."

THE PRETTY RECKLESS is supporting AC/DC on the legendary hard rock band's spring/summer 2024 European tour. Momsen and her bandmates also opened for THE ROLLING STONES on May 11 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.

In November 2022, THE PRETTY RECKLESS released a new collection of music, "Other Worlds", via Fearless Records. The effort saw the group delivering its first proper acoustic recordings, unexpected covers and other reimaginings.

"Death By Rock And Roll" was made available in February 2021 via Fearless Records in the U.S. and Century Media Records in the rest of the world.

Upon release, "Death By Rock And Roll" topped multiple sales charts — including Billboard's Top Albums, Rock, Hard Music, and Digital charts. The record also yielded three back-to-back No. 1 singles — "Death By Rock And Roll", "And So It Went" (featuring Tom Morello of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE) and "Only Love Can Save Me Now" (featuring Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron of SOUNDGARDEN). The band has tallied seven No. 1 singles at the rock format throughout its career.

"Death By Rock And Roll" was THE PRETTY RECKLESS's first album to be made without longtime producer Kato Khandwala, who died in April 2018 from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

I found 25, 21 through this cover SEVENTEEN’s Dokyeom did! I really love SVT’s music, and DK is one of my fav idol-vocalists ever, I was immediately in love with the song after I heard it initially ㅠㅠ

He did another cover of a DAY6 song called Happy, that you might like!! DAY6 is a k-rock band as well so a lot of their music is very similar ;>

Also-also, you might also enjoy HYUKOH! My fav song of his is Wi Ing Wi Ing ^^ He’s a lil’ more indie but I think it’ll match well (or at least I hope 🫡)

Listening to HYUKOH makes me miss the spring breeze on my face. Their melodies are so natural that the strumming feels like waves and the beat is like mountains ever so forming underneath our feet. Listening to 'Tomboy' after 'Wi Ing Wi Ing' was sure a journey. I am glad the band got the recognition they deserved. Have you seen their Instagram account? They have a very different aesthetic and their photoshoots are awesome. Never seen an indie band prioritize visuals this much before.

I have no idea how you found Sirotkin because when I tried to do my research all I could find was more russian...and even more russian... Tho, their music is so atmospheric, almost lullaby like sometimes! Their latest release 'Walking Misfortune' is also pretty good if you want to give it a listen. I tried putting the lyrics through google translate but some lines are probably really poetic and I don't want to butcher it with poor translation :'D But believe me you'll understand the emotion just by listening to it (and thats the beauty of music isn't it?)

In HOFAS, so many things happened and I’m still trying to let it all sink in so I don’t remember it exactly but when Nesta Bryce and Az were talking about Bryce’s (and the Asteri’s) light, they debated if it was starlight or light or maybe even DAYlight. My Elucien ears perked up! Were the bonus chapters and HOFAS not as Az heavy as it was relative to the other characters and SJM bringing him up more than Elain in interviews lately, I would be 💯 convinced that Elucien is next. But I still have my hesitations, I guess we’ll find out! I so badly want it to be Eluciens!!

I feel like whichever couple is featured in the sixth (last?) book, they will not get as much page time or attention where we can really dig deep because SJM will be tying up a lot of things. So if I had to choose, I’d rather get Elucien in ACOTAR5 and not the sixth book so they get proper page time and exploration and explanation. I adore Gwynriel! But idk man, we’ve been with Elain and Lucien for way longer and that mating bond was revealed to us way earlier. Ultimately, in my ideal world, SJM will write a full book for both ships and write a 7th book to wrap it all up with all of our MCs POVs (including Feyre and Rhys!) and that would make for a wonderful full circle book! But the chances of that happening are way way slimmer. It sounds like after ACOTAR5, she’s gonna turn her attention elsewhere so who knows when we’ll get ACOTAR6 or even the possibility of ACOTAR7!

I am pretty curious if Helion / Lucien will end up being tied to descendants of the first Starborn with the light they have and if so, will that play any important role to the plot as it did for Bryce's story as Theia's heir.

I think it's understandable to be going back and forth on the next book.

You're right, Az has gotten a lot of attention in the last two releases (SF and HOFAS) and if SJM is marketing the next book the way she did Nessian's than it would be valid to assume he's next.

But if she's marketing the next book the same way she did ACOMAF, where she was super quiet on Rhys's future role and what he would become to Feyre or the ending of CC2, where she kept it a secret from everyone than that could indicate "less is more" and Elucien is next.

There's precedence for both scenarios which is why I think the arguments on both sides are valid.

But with her saying that she's focusing on the next ACOTAR book then looking forward to a different project after that it makes me wonder if we are going to see some sort of major resolution to the Koschei / Beron / Spring / Vassa plots.

She wanted to move directly into CC3 after writing CC2 so if the next ACOTAR book sets up for the "final" spin-off, where the big bad is finally defeated, then wouldn't it make sense for her to continue on with the ACOTAR series rather than something else?

That is also something that makes me lean towards Elucien being next. Along the lines of what you said, if the next book deals with the Illyrians / Valkyrie / Time Travel (really big storylines) and that's then going to connect to Koschei / Beron / Spring / Vassa /the treaty, it seems like a lot for the final book.

But if she were to break those down into individual plots / series, it's less ground to cover.

If Elucien was next and they only dealt with Koschei / Beron / Spring / Vassa / and the treaty and their book did not need to bring in Time Travel / the Illyrians and the Valkyrie (because why would the Valkyrie / Illyrians be connected to Koschei in the next book then suddenly be meaningless in the final one?) that wraps up the arcs that were introduced in ACOWAR.

Then, SJM goes on to work on her new mystery project, then CC4 or hops back to the ACOTAR world. But at that point she calls it a new series that deals with the Valkyrie / Time Travel / the Illyrians and that will connect to the future crossover stories. And maybe that new series will not consist of only traditional romance standalone dual POVs. Maybe it will shift POVs between ACOTAR characters and even characters from other series but because it would then be labeled a "new series" it could standalone from Feyre's trilogy and the two books following her sisters.

There's a lot of different and valid ways to look at what SJM has planned and honestly, any single one could be right because we just don't know. She seems to be spinning a bunch of plates at the same time and we're all just trying to get inside her brain and think like her but she's managed to surprise us all time and again!

This past week I was able to schedule a Zoom call with the lead vocalist of Silverstein, Shane Told, to discuss the band’s “25 Years of Noise” tour with Thursday, as well as what went into the writing and recording process of their recently announced two new albums, Antibloom and Pink Moon. Shane dove deep into how the two records were shaped while recording in Joshua Tree, and how the vibe of that place started to seep into the new material. I also asked Shane to walk me through the “personality” of Silverstein’s last five LPs, plus much more. Antibloom will be released on February 21st via UNFD and pre-orders are on-going here. Thank you for your time today, Shane. Good to see you again as well! Silverstein will be celebrating its 25th year of existence next year, an incredible accomplishment, and you’re going to be doing a comprehensive tour with Thursday. What goals did you and your bandmates set for yourselves in creating another memorable show for your longtime fans? That’s a good question! Goals? Yes, we’re very goal-oriented as a band here! 25 years. It’s a really big milestone, quarter of a century. Especially the way we started…we started as a side project. We didn’t have great goals of doing anything big. I didn’t even know if we were gonna put out a record. I thought, just like for the summer we’d play some shows and maybe record something. So 25 years later, if you told me this, I would never believe you. I think now that we’re here, we are really just keeping our eyes on the prize. Let’s put together the greatest show we can using everything we’ve learned in two and a half decades, and just put together an amazing show of all these songs that we’ve written. Over 11 albums it’s about to be, right? It’s crazy! So we really just focused all year this year on preparing the setlist, the production, and just kind of everything…and curating the exact support bands that we wanted. Having Thursday supporting us is truly amazing. It’s such an honor to have them on board to celebrate this with us. So, yeah man, I think if you’ve seen us before, this is going to blow everything else away. That’s just the truth. We’re going really hard on this on this run.  That’s awesome. Yeah, I’ll be at The Fillmore Silver Spring show coming up in January. So it’ll be good to see you guys live again! Yeah man, that’s a great venue. I listened to the advance of Antibloom. A lot of the lyrical material seems to focus on getting older, and coming to terms with mortality…Was that intentional? Can you walk me through your lyric writing process? That’s interesting. I don’t know about that really…I think, with the two albums, because there’s another one coming…But you didn’t hear that one yet, right? No, not yet. They were written together. I wrote stuff. Paul Marc wrote stuff. We wrote stuff together, and  we co-wrote with some other people too. So I wouldn’t say that there is one theme tying it all together…at least not intentionally. But what does sometimes happen is that sometimes the music will tell you more about yourself than you know. It reveals things. So maybe there are lyrics about that that are kind of like poking out more than I thought. I mean, the truth is, I am in my 40s. Now, other than Paul Marc who’s the young man…I mean, he’s still 35. So, we’re not kids anymore. If you’re gonna write honestly, I’m not gonna talk about my high school locker, and going to the football game, and I hope the girl I like is going to be in the stands… I think it’s super cringy when anyone over the age of 22 sing songs like that, right? So, you have to grow with your fanbase. You have to grow up with them. And I think that everything we write is real, and everything that we write is meaningful to us. So, if that’s what comes out, then it comes out. We’re not trying to steer the lyricism in any direction to try to be something we’re not. Perspective Is A Fickle Thing

A/N: Have you noticed I'm obsessed with A/B/O? Anyways, I hope you like this first part! I wasn't exactly sure how I wanted this to go, but here we are.

There was a stiffness to your back, something felt off with you. Something about this meeting wasn't right, and you knew it, but you felt ridiculous. Your boss, a hero, and your most trusted friend had invited you to this. It was a simple coffee date, with her old friend. Even more so, the old friend was a hero himself! The number one in Japan! You really were being silly, and you knew that, and that's why you came. 

It was a wonderful opportunity, and you knew it. Uraraka filled you in on why she wanted this meeting to happen, she knew how smart you were and how capable. Her own words, "If anyone can appreciate that properly, is Izu! Just trust me, you'll love him! He's a sweetheart." You knew that, everyone always talked about how bashful the hero was. You took a deep breath as you got closer to the cafe, relaxing. 

You were being ridiculous, and this was gonna be awesome. With that thought, you stood at the cafe door, and brushed your skirt carefully, it was a peach tone, and went to about your knees. Little white flowers decorated all over. Your top was white, and slightly shorter than a normal shirt, a slightly thin material that was long sleeved. It tied in the back, right above your waist, having the blouse fit you perfectly. The sleeves were puffed at the shoulders and you loved the romantic feel. Brushing a lose strand of hair behind your ear, you opened the door. Your hair was pulled up and pinned with white, porcelain chopsticks to finish off the look. It was nice for the spring, relieving some of the heat that the shirt brought. Your white flats, with little bows on the front made your steps almost silent as you walked in, eyes scanning the cafe for a familiar face. 

There she was, a beaming smile sent your way when you caught eyes. You smiled back, a relaxing feeling traveling down your back. It must have been because of the bond your omega and her alpha shared, one you were grateful for. You made your way over to her, and found Deku sitting there by the window as you got closer. The only seat was between them, it was a tall circle table. 

As you walked over, you took him in. It was odd to see him in such casual clothing for you. It was always articles or TV news that you saw him, and he was always in his hero getup. So to see him in a Red Riot muscle shirt, and brown khakis, it made it different. Like it wasn't really him. The outfit itself brought a faint blush across your face, you were bashful yourself, and couldn't help noticing how well it fit him. The muscle shirt wasn't super lose, but enough you could appreciate his well toned arms, and something about the way he seemed to fill in over the years just set your heart racing. He could never be your type though, not with what you've heard. With that in mind, you waved at them and slid into the empty seat. 

When you sat down, everyone greeted and Uraraka introduced you properly, but you were a little out of it at first as you took in his scent. He smelled like summer, like running through a stream and picking flowers. It was refreshing, and it had your nerves tingling a little bit. You weren't sure what you were expecting, but you weren't expecting that. You definitely didn't expect him to be an alpha either, which you were a little bothered your 'best friend' didn't tell you.

"I'm so excited! This is my famous suit improver I always tell you about! She designed the button on my ankle that allows me to release my gravity in case one of my hands are occupied or something!" The blush from before darkened now, and you felt embarrassed. She always bragged about you like this, and it put you in the spotlight. Not that you completely minded, but it still made you squirm. Especially when the person she was bragging to looked over at you. 

You didn't look back at him as he did, brushing your hair back again behind your ear, and looking down. "I-I'm not that impressive," you mumbled quietly, crossing your ankles. 

Before Uraraka could scold you for your unnecessary humbleness, Deku spoke. "Well that's not true, didn't you also design the guards on Red Riot's suit that protected his vulnerable points and wouldn't break from his hardening?" 

You blushed a little more, and peaked up at him while he was talking, to be polite. That's when your eyes caught and you froze. A sparkling shade of nepeta green, they were beautiful. 

"Well, thank you." 

Oh goodness, if only you saw your face. Your eyes widened a little more and your entire head seemed to turn red, ears and neck alike. You stumbled to find the words in apology, but he just… he just chuckled. It was deep and casual, but just, the way it sounded. It made your heart go even faster, and you felt small. 

Uraraka couldn't have been happier, everything was seeming to work out how she wanted.
