Okay so like stick with me but young Derek, alive hale fam au.
So like the Hale family finds out that Derek has a crush on Sheriff Stilinski’s delinquent son, and has mixed reactions. Talia is torn between amusement, worry and wanting to dislike stiles. Papa hale is very protective but thinks it funny that him and his son have the same tastes.
Peter is ecstatic, Stiles once beat him in chess when running from the cops. (stiles was running and sat down in the park around people for cover, turns out he interrupted a chess tournament. Peter challenged him to a game if stiles lost, Peter would turn him over to the police. If he won, stiles could use him as an alibi)ļæ¼
The rest of his siblings don’t really have an opinion other than using Derek’s crush to make fun of him EXPECT for Laura. Laura is in a one sided rivalry with stiles.
As the sheriff right hand deputy she was tasked with keeping an eye out for stiles and she constantly loses him. Which shouldn’t be possible because she’s a werewolf. She can never connect him to a crime he’s committed and can never prove anything. Can’t go to a judge a say ā€œoh he left a scent trail which I followed because I’m a werewolf.ā€
Derek brings him home to dinner after they start dating. Unfortunately, the day that Derek brings him over, is also the day that Laura had to run around town taking reports of his crimes. She is fuming. Stiles looks her dead in her twitching eye and asked her how her day went.
The only crime she can connect him to is when he commit aggravated assault against a few of Derek’s teammates went to far with hazing. (Derek refused to fight back as not to hurt them) she lets him off.

Danny and his boys
Jason x Danny, Dick, Tim, Damian (Platonic) x Danny.
Danny groaned at the sight before him. He had gone to the grocery store to get him and his fiancƩ ingredients for dinner. He hadn't been stopped or almost mugged the whole trip. He should've known his luck was against him. Classic Fenten Luck.
His fiancƩ Jason is leaning against the couch. Bloody bandages wrapped around his torso. Shirtless and wearing sweatpants. On the couch was Dick. Also, with bloody bandages wrapped around his torso as well. Tim was at the kitchen table typing away on a laptop with not so bloody bandages wrapped around his chest.
Danny was glad he got more ingredients than usual. His gut told him it wouldn't be enough. Turns out his gut was correct. Danny silently made his way to the kitchen. Patting Tim's head as he went. Smiling softly at the way Tim's tense form had relaxed under his hand. He set the bags on the counter. Carefully taking out everything.
After taking everything out, Danny opened the fridge. Grabbing a can of coffee, two Gatorades, and bottled water. He set the can of coffee by Tim, then headed to the living room. Handing Dick the first Gatorade, then bending down, giving Jason a soft kiss and the other Gatorade.
Dick grunted out a soft thanks as Jason released what Danny hopes was a sigh of relief. But he couldn't be sure. He walked down the small hallway and peaked into the bedroom. He snorted at the sight of Damian curled up with Cujo. He crept in and set the water bottle on the bedside table. Kissing Damian's temple softly along with Cujo's forehead.
Now that his boys are given drinks. He needs to start on dinner. Although he'll have to run back to the store for something to make for Damian. Unless he makes a vegetarian lasagna instead. He might do that instead, actually. Let it be a punishment for his boys not listening and a reward for Damian listening to him. They should've just waited to go out on that mission.

SORN WAS LIGHT!!!!!
Tumblr media
Sorn is the dark to Jun's light.
Tumblr media
It's their color-coded dynamic.
Tumblr media
Always has been.
Tumblr media
And probably always will be.
Tumblr media
Because Sorn only knows darkness, meaning all his clothes are dark.
Tumblr media
But, sometimes, he turns red.
Tumblr media
It's only because he hasn't gone to therapy and figured out he is insanely possessive of the boy he keeps giving his color to wear.
Tumblr media
Even then, he is still dark.
Tumblr media
When people aren't looking — dark
Tumblr media
And when kids are around — still dark
Tumblr media
But Sorn is going soft.
Tumblr media
And not just with his looks.
Tumblr media
He is going soft in his color.
Tumblr media
Even when he is annoyed with Jun, he is gray.
Tumblr media
So mix those soft looks with his color getting lighter, and what do we get?
Tumblr media
A color-coded boy IN LOVE who doesn't even realize how deep he is until he is practically wearing white and letting it slip that Jun has slept over at his place in front of his friends at work because he got too caught up in the moment to remember that HE WAS ONLY SUPPOSED TO BE FUCKING THIS GUY YET HE JUST ASKED HIM TO MOVE IN WITH HIM!!!!!!
Tumblr media
And to make it even worse better, the pendejo was relived and pleased that Jun wanted to move in with him!
Tumblr media
The only other time Sorn has been this light was his first time with Jun.
Tumblr media
So now Sorn is looking at Jun instead of at Penny who just invited him over after work because he is worried about his fuck buddy's feelings SINCE HE IS IN LOVE WITH HIM!
Tumblr media
Stupid little dumb man who is turning lighter because he fell in love, I love you.
Tumblr media
And I love this off-brand Care Bear too.

do you think bruce has ever gotten drunk before? i don't mean brucie flirting about at the gala either i mean well and truly intoxicated lol. like the type where you wake up and have the worst headache known to man
Thank you for reminding me about one of my long lost headcanons. Which is that yes, Bruce has gotten that drunk (stealing liquor from the pantry as a child, normal stuff) but the only time he woke up and truly prayed for an end was during training with Ra’s Al Ghul when, as a reward, he and the other trainees were given a night off and a mysterious local liquor (something grain derived) spiked with something. and their ā€œnight offā€ became a test the next day, where they had to meditate and work through the after effects, flushing the toxins from their bodies while still completing their regular duties. it was all a lesson — learning that being poisoned can happen when you least expect it; that alcohol is a poison; and that sometimes you will have to work through it no matter how awful you feel. and so poor, pitiful hungover Bruce learned how to do what he does with ease as Brucie Wayne later — work through anything, whether it’s drugs, poison, fear toxin, alcohol, and be largely unaffected.

A favorite trope of mine is when characters just trauma dump in the middle of mundane conversations. And I’ve seen quite a few people characterize Jason this way, where he’d hide the fact that he was in the League or All-Caste from the other Bats because either:Ā
1. He’s a really private person and doesn’t want to open up to anyone, especially the Bats
2. He compartmentalizes a lot of it, so he genuinely forgets it even happened
3. He keeps it in his back pocket until the perfect time to bring it up to do the most damage to whoever he’s talking to
And although I enjoy all three of these, I’ve always had sort of a different view on things so hear me out for a moment.
Jason Todd a boy that would tell his Mom everything. He’d tell her about the characters in a new book he’d read that day at the library, or he’d complain about how much of the gross cologne Mr. Davis wore, hell, he’d tell her about a brick he saw on his way to school laying on the sidewalk that was kinda shaped funny.
Little Jason Todd could ramble on for hours and hours about everything or absolutely nothing. He was a natural conversationalist (which he used very much to his advantage when he was hungry, on the streets, haggling the store clerk for a bag of chips). He could strike up a conversation with the introverted 90-year-old widow down the block or the excited 8-year-old he met at the library who only spoke in broken English.Ā
He would tell everyone he spoke to out in Crime Alley little anecdotes about himself that would later be the only crumbs of his life that would be remembered when he moved into Bristol to live with Bruce Wayne. (And would be the only proof of his existence when his death in Ethiopia was covered up)
But Jason hardened from losing his Dad cause of a stupid job gone wrong, slowly over the course of a year, having to watch and accept that he was losing his Ma too, and then being left alone to fend for himself.
He wasn’t used to talking anymore.Ā
He missed talking to someone who would listen so badly.
But then he was living with Bruce Wayne, the aloof, billionaire, playboy by day and the savage, fearless caped crusader by night.
When Jason finally got comfortable, he did ramble.Ā
He told Bruce all about school and homework and the new book he found in the Manor.
He told Batman about the new move he learned watching Selina and the guy who was so drunk he thought he was The Batman and tried to help Robin out during patrol.
But that was all he’d let himself talk about.
He would never let himself waver from safe subjects. Whenever he felt like Bruce was trying to (awkwardly) start an emotional, heartfelt conversation, or Batman was trying to pry more information about Robin to update his file, he’d subtly steer the conversation to safer topics.
It wasn’t because he didn’t want to talk about the heavy stuff but because he couldn’t.
Bruce didn’t hide how unsure he was with taking Jason in as well as he thought he did. Sure, he had raised Dick just fine but Dick was also a much easier kid to deal with and Bruce related to the pain Dick had lived through in a way he couldn’t with Jason. The Todds weren’t some picturesque family that lived in the spotlight and were torn apart in a flash. Willis Todd was a petty criminal who was desperate to put food on the table and was in over his head. Catherine Todd died slowly; her arms and legs were failing her, and the under-the-counter pills she took from a friend of a friend to help ease the pain were dragging her to an early grave.Ā
Batman didn’t hide how unsure he was as well as he thought he did, either. The second Robin wasn’t raised doing flips through the air and freeing himself from ropes under a timer in the circus. He needed more training and more time and more money put into him. Batman made his distrust clear every time he’d bark at Robin to be more careful while dealing with crooks on patrol when the sidekick had hardly managed to get a punch in.
Bruce Wayne needed a son who he could show off at galas and captivate a crowd with his good looks and award-winning smile. (Not Jason, whose hair was so poorly cared for for years that it still sat half-dead and frizzy. The boy that knocked his tooth out cleaning out Ms. Coleman's gutters and it grew back in crooked.)
Batman needed a Robin he could rely on to watch his back, a Robin that was unafraid, a Robin that he didn’t need to baby and rush into battle to save all the time.
If Jason told Bruce what he’d gone through living on the streets, he’d realize how broken Jason was and send him off to one of those foster homes for troubled kids.
If Robin told Batman that he was still afraid of the dark or about the time he pushed Auntie Sofia’s abusive drunk boyfriend down the stairs, he wouldn’t want him anymore.
And now years later, after waking up in his grave and coming back wrong—coming back broken—it’s instinctual not to open up to Bruce.
Especially when Bruce still sits in that damn cave in front of that fucking memorial case and mourns the son and sidekick he’d lost. The son who is standing right infront of him and is only a phone call away. The sidekick who still patrols the streets of Gotham only five minutes away from Batman’s usual patrol route.
But Jason knows why he mourns that fifteen year old version of himself because some days—on those really bad days—Jason mourns him too.Ā
Jason mourns the kid he could’ve been, the kid he was supposed to be, and he mourns the father he’ll never have again.
Jason Todd and Bruce Wayne will never talk about it.
And neither do Red Hood and Batman.

I need someone to grab Charlie by the shoulders and remind him that the reason Tony wants to hurt Babe has nothing to do with him and that he was after Babe long before Charlie ever got himself tied up in all of this rebelion and that he's going to hurt Babe regardless of whether Charlie stays away from him and leaving Babe to handle all of that alone is not going to save him from the imenent fate of facing Tony, it is only going to leave him to face Tony alone and thats not going to solve anything and I really really need that someone to be Jeff.

Although I enjoy a good "Jack Drake is a physically and mentally abusive asshole and deeply homophobic" fic as much as the next ex-Catholic lesbian, I have to admit that I have a way softer spot in my heart for "clueless blundering ass who makes everything worse" Jack Drake.
Maybe it's because my own parents were deeply homophobic in a very different way to others. If you asked them, they'd tell you they have no problem with queer people. They don't care what anyone does in the privacy of their own home, really! Therefore they're not homophobic! But they just don't think you have to make it your whole personality. You don't have to shove it in everyone's faces. And all these new labels for things, what's up with that? Isn't it enough for people to just be gay or straight?
So because I do be projecting, I have a soft spot in my heart for Tim coming out to Jack as bisexual, and Jack just sort of...short-circuiting, for a hot minute. "Well, I'll always love you, son." And Tim thinks that this went pretty well, actually. But Jack later is maybe telling Tim that there are ground rules for him and his dates. Can't bring boys back to the house, strict curfew, has to let Jack know where he is and with whom at all times. Jack doesn't kick Tim out or anything, or call him names, but it's uncomfortable living there now in a way that it wasn't before. Jack has a weird vibe about him when Tim talks about a boyfriend or a male crush. Shuts down the conversation really quickly and won't entertain it any longer. Jack starts being critical of Tim in ways that he wouldn't if he didn't know about his son's sexuality; he asks why Tim feels the need to have a bi pride flag in his room, or why he has to make this his defining characteristic now. And Jack never actually says the word "bisexual." It's always "this." How they just need to leave "this" alone for a while, they need to not make every conversation about "this."
Because Tim is such a person to let a person's good characteristics speak miles more than their bad ones, if they're close enough to him. He has plans in place if Batman goes rogue, but not for his own protection, never for himself. Always for everyone else's benefit. He can live with what happens to him if he's wrong. So of course he'd never call his dad a homophobe, that's not - his dad didn't kick him out. Doesn't hit him or call him names or say mean things to him. It hurts his feelings sometimes, but he takes worse than that from street thugs every night. It's not like he can't handle his dad being a little weird about things.
Right?
