i wanna make a bigger post about this with drawings one day but if Birdie were to come back to SF6 i'd want him to own like a bar and be the leader of his own gang.
#from what little i know of birdie (and street fighter in general) i feel like this makes sense for him#he went from a heel (wrestler). to a low-tier gangster. he eventually joins shadaloo and has ambitions to kill bison and take control.#he later LEAVES shadaloo and is protected by karin (in exchange for his services) and he eventually ditches her too#he also had a history of bar fights and barhopping and he was a bouncer so him continuing that or even becoming a bartender makes sense#and it seems a lot of his story revolves around seeking safety and comfort in unconventional places so a bar fits#him being a leader of a gang will allow him to become a place of safety to other delinquents like him—with his bar being a safe haven#<- (mind you. i don't think he'd pursue this goal intentionally; especially at first)#idk based on that illustration of birdie in SF6 it's clear capcom wants to keep him around but has NO idea what to do with him#besides make him a joke character#also if birdie comes to SF6 KEEP HIM FAT.
