If it isn't to much could you do headcanons with oikawa with a violinist ?

Maybe the reader develops tendonitis (basically you get it from excessive repetitive movement and overuse) and shes she cant play for awhile. ✌💕

“Tooru. I’m a violinist.”

Once he finds that out he’s gonna demand you to play the violin for him. He’s gonna nag you everyday until you play it for him. He’s very very stubborn

So you relent and invite him over to your house to have a little recital of your own. (You bet he would have his phone camera ready to record you) And when you start playing it, it’s like he fell in love all over again.

His eyes hones in on the movements you do. Whether that be big or small or just the way your eyes concentrates on your fingers or even when you are closing your eyes. He’s concentrating so much that he forgets to film you

Once you are done playing he snaps out of his world and has the most amazed expression on his face. Praises galore. “S/oooo you were so good!!!” And then he is gonna use this as an excuse to “reward you with kisses and hugs.” And not the chocolate

But when he realized he didn’t record it, he’s gonna make you play it again whether you like it or not. (But you can also avoid this by sending him old recitals but that opens some whole new demands such as “send me all of them!! Including photos!”

If you started violin early on, he’s gonna demand to see performances of when you were a kid. And you were like “Tooru, no. I sound so bad back then” does he care? No. He’s gonna hush over you like “AWWWWE MINI S/O WITH HER MINI VIOLIN!!!”

poor iwa (+ the team + his nephew) isn’t going to hear the end of his bragging.

“Hey, iwaaaa loooo—”

Iwaizumi ends up kicking him. And oikawa dramatically falls. (“S/o! Quick! Play some sad background music with your violin!” Oikawa says as his Oscar worthy acting begins)

(“Iwaizumi, feel free to kick him again. Maybe you should knock some sense into him” Iwaizumi sees this as a affirmation to kick him again)

(You whip out your violin and start to play saddness and sorrow. Pls Oikawa’s acting would be 10000Xs more dramatic than it already is. It would be the moment Iwaizumi understands why you are dating “a dumbass like trashykawa.” )

He would ask you to be his personal ost/bg music provider.

Like with the ballerina S/o one, he’s gonna remind you not to overpractice. And he’s gonna look into finger care(? Is that a thing in the violin world)

So when you develop tendonitis, and he hears the news, his usual cheery and stupid smile falls. (“Why didn’t I notice?”) It just reminds him of his own injury and he understands the sadness you’re going through. The sadness of not being able to do what you love

He’s gonna pull you into a tight hug and burry your head into his chest. (His heart would break even more if he sees/hears you cry) he would kiss the crown of your head and just do his best to comfort you

“Im sorry… I should have paid more attention and told you to practice less. I’m sorry… it’s ok…”

“Tooru, don’t blame yourself. I’m the one at fault here. I was the one who insisted on practicing and I should have listened to you…”

after that he’s gonna make sure you take your anti inflammatory medicine. Dates are now strictly home dates until you get better. (“Tooru, I’m injured, not glass.”) He’s gonna help you ice whenever he cans.

And he’s not gonna let you lift a finger if you he is around. He becomes your personal butler in some ways. And if you don’t like that, you will have to drill it in him. But he just want to help

In the following days, he’s gonna invite insist you over to watch his practice. (Because you have nothing to do as you usually practice during that time)

That way, he can keep an eye on you as to not let you be sad. He pays a lot of attention to details so he would be attuned to the little shifts in your facial expression. So when you seem sad, he’s gonna act silly and risks being hit by iwa

He’s going to be annoyingly clingy. He wants to make sure you are talking care of yourself

(During that time you see him childishly glaring at your violin like it was the spawn of Satan for injuring you.)

Once you get better, he’s gonna remind you more to not practice that much. And he’s going to be stern about it as well. It’s not the past playful/childish-stern reminders that he gave in the past

Oh boy and if you complain about feeling slight pain or soreness, he’s gonna whip his head to you like a hawk and start to question and lowkey panic. He just doesn’t want you to go through that again

But he doesn’t stop you from playing. He knows it’s your passion. He’s just a little more cautious. He still says he’s your self proclaimed “no.1 fan!”
