CHASE

Oh you already know where this is going. These two hate each other. Law enforcement autism vs law breaking chaos, nope, ain't happening. Once Chase recovered from the initial "oh that is a Decepticon" shock, he started citing her both in Cybertronian and human terms. Ratbyte makes the most perturbed expression every time Chase appears, they cannot fragging stand this bot and much prefer his human. Chase similarly is completely put off by them, even as the mech who enjoys writing up tickets, because if he went through every infraction he'd run out of tickets. seriously how are there so many human laws. Sometimes if they're stuck in a space together Chase starts in on something or other about rules and Ratbyte just deadpans at him menacingly until he stops. (Heatwave taught her that bc he is also a menace)

They can't hate each other all the time though! Ratbyte will let Chase have his noir narration if she catches him doing it, she enjoys the media he gets it from and considers it to be his least irritating trait. The Decepticon also laughs at all Chase's jokes, even the bad ones. He's doing his best and she is easily amused.

BLADES

BABY. MY LITTLE GUY. DOES HE KNOW I'D DO ANYTHING FOR HIM. Ratbyte also firmly believes this. Cody may be "pup" but Blades is right there with him. Sure he's not exempt from the occasional scare and Ratbyte might snap at him when he's getting too whiny (or singing too much, Primus help her) but the Decepticon is still softer on Blades than the rest of the team, even hissing warningly at Heatwave if she decides he's being a little too mean to the copter bot.

Blades was (understandably) scared to death of her for a while when they met, and hated when it was his turn to get her off the firehouse property-- until he learned not only was she pretty chill, but could also be bribed with little odds and ends he'd find around town, or stories from whatever tv show he'd just watched. Ratbyte soaked up the attention and took to Blades in no time. First friend on the island means scary rat privilege! and she loves his little bandana,,, he's so precious to her,,,
