im not dogging that anon or anything i definitely get wondering what it would take to get a ruling queen in westeros (it’s LITERALLY a plot point lol) and they bring up rhaenyra specifically in the book but like, roose calls alysanne a shrew and she’s considered the shining beacon of targaryen queens like these people just don’t like women lmao they will never choose a woman to rule over them unless they have no other option they’re just haters

#getting on my soap box #like with jeyne specifically she put down TWO rebellions of a close male relative & part of her success is she had the royces on her side #and she named her FOURTH cousin which is a few generations back #she really has genuinely kind of a dearth of cousins here. and very powerful allies.#so again you have that a) NO OPTIONS and b) a powerful man backing her claim #i think bran jon & the vale knights would serve this role for sansa.#hell look at rohanne forced to marry in order to inherit! and again - no other options!
