I made this post before we knew Focalors and Furina were different people, and the fact I still find it accurate to Focalors but not Local Fatui Harbinger Fucker Furina is rly funny to me

I'm trying to find a specific Leverage scene but I just can't remember in which episode it was, or anything about the plot. All I can remember is that it was a scene where Eliot noticed someone was some sort of undercover cop or agent or something and explained how he'd clocked him by pointing out the kind of shoes they were wearing and several other things (haircut maybe??). I tried googling it but came up empty. You are the first Leverage blog I found so I was hoping either you or one of your followers will remember the episode I'm trying to find?

Oooohhh good question. There are two times Eliot spots an undercover cop by their shoes (at least the 2 times I remember off the top of my head)

The first is The Morning After Job s3e13, Eliot recognizes a group of undercover cops in McRory's bar. The second is in Redemption, The Double Edged Sword Job s1e7, Eliot and Parker recognize undercover security by their shoes and watches. Then there's also The Long Way Down Job s4e1 where he recognizes Russian spetsnaz by his footprint.

As for recognizing by haircuts, there's only one time I remember that happening, The King George Job s3e12, where he recognizes the goons as ex-British Paratroopers by their hair cut.

No yes EXACTLY, I also have the brain disease that makes me want for Sam to win and makes me become a Sam Win Truther even when things are looking characteristically bleak for him. Which I am frankly embarrassed to admit to the few other Jet Lag enjoyers I know, for some reason. Like I get the Ben and Adam love, they're so wonderful, but it's just..... Sam <3 Honestly, for all I try to rationalise why, I think I simply imprinted on him at that moment where he's standing with two grocery bags in the rain in Callais in episode 2 of Tag (have you watched That one yet? Sorry for very vague spoilers if you haven't!!!). I can't explain why, but I remember it very clearly. Alsooo I just think he's just got a specific vibe that autistic people find charming in a way others might not (source: me, I am charmed).

and i think everybody gets to have their own favorite <3 no justification needed. sometimes you just like a silly little guy!! sometimes you love them all*!! which is all valid. you can also love to see all of them suffer!!! personally this is a win-win/lose-lose for me in every situation no matter who actually wins and i love it.

NGL I ALMOST SNAPPED MY NECK IN HALF WITH THE DOUBLE TAKE I DID OVER THIS LINE LIKE THESE ARE SOME TRULY INSANE BUCK WILD DIALOGUE CHOICES THAT ARE BEING MADE RIGHT OFF THE BAT OVER HERE BUT OKAY ALRIGHT OKAY IM SENSING IM SEEING IM PERCEIVING IM SITTING DOWN FOR IT

all jokes aside, i AM actually very interested in this show for quite a few reasons, which are:

TIME TRAVEL!!!!!!!!!! that's the one thing ya girl is always weak about;

i really like pond as an actor, but aside from century of love where he played a side character, i haven't really been into any of his series as main lead, which i always thought was a pity. this show, however, seems right up my alley, and the chemistry between peterpan and pond looks AMAZING;

THE DIRECTOR IS A NUTTAPONG WHICH IS ALSO GOING TO DIRECT MY MAGIC PROPHECY!!!!!!!!!! all his previous QLs (GAP, my marvellous dream is you, the sign) have been made under idol factory, and while im not sure whether reset is gonna come out before my magic prophecy, im really curious to see how he's gonna fair with a different team (this pilot trailer already does seem to confirm my impression of him being able to make visually appealing sex scenes).

my only concern is that the trailer feels a bit messy to me, so im afraid the story could go downhill very quickly if the director doesn't have a clear vision of where he wants to go with it, but it's also way too early to worry about that since this is just a pilot

OVERALL IM VERY EXCITED FOR THIS I HOPE WE'RE GONNA GET IT SOON!!!!!!!!!!!
