Hellen headcanons

★ After moving into Sam's apartment, the kitchen knives seem noticeably sharper. That's because she likes to keep them in good condition. Using her personal sharpener to make the cheap blades work better.

★ It was the food that won her over. Seeing Sam prepare meals for the people he hosted broke down several walls. He was kind. Too kind. Surely someone would take advantage of him? It's only natural in this world. Perhaps, she should keep an eye on him...

★ Gardening is Hellen's preferred craft. But she's surprisingly good at crochet. Liking how it keeps her hands busy. The patterns she makes are mostly spirals and root like shapes. With soft edges that seem to mimic leaves.

★ Hellen would actually hate slasher films. Despite being a stereotypical horror antagonist herself. They just don't feel right. Leigh Compared her to Jason Voorhees once. She nearly stabbed her right there on the couch.

★ In a way, she sees the Rat child as her kid. Much like Sam. But she would never say it. Instead she shows it. If something's threatening him, even as a joke, she steps in. Making it clear that as long as she's around, nothing will harm the kid.

★ A growing collection of houseplants build in the living room. Sam offered to put them in the bedroom, but she refused. Not wanting any holes in the wall or ceiling. Necessary for the hanging ones. Compromising with herbs growing in the windowsill.

Got a random idea that i wanted to practice drawing some doggos, since it's something I haven't really tried much at all and thought it'd be a fun thing to play around with a bit, so here's a pathetic attempt at some stuff with an Afghan Hound Pam concept from years ago ( tho it kinda seems like she's both Saluki and Afghan Hound, so idk x')) plus bonus puppy Justin, Sammie, and Ben-Ben + doggo Benson and Skips (While also altering their colors a bit so they look a bit more like actual fur colors and patterns instead of being their actual colors x'), while keeping Benson's a bit red, along with the patch of grey-ish fur on his belly (as well as Sammie and Ben-Ben), so he'd look a bit more like himself, and giving him a pattern instead of being completely red bc that just felt a little dull)

When I played with f!Luce and m!Sam, I thought Sam was just a annoying traitor. And once in a while, I played with m!Luce and f!Sam, and I got to relate to her a lot more. “And the world opens up to you because you have a dick. But not me, I hated you always.” Is there a woman who doesn't sympathize with this line? I love how many layers gender adds to this story

I loved that line! Because with female Sam it’s like you kind of get that even if the feminist movement is strong in the 70s it’s still the 70s. It’s still the fact that she is encouraged to marry a well off man. That Luce will be the decision maker in the eyes their family and every time Sam would see them she would be relegated to the role of wife

Doesn’t mean what she did wasn’t a bitch ass move. But I do get the female perspective of feeling like you need to marry someone, anyone to do your societal due diligence

My Samwise Gamgee cosplay, Nekocon 2025.

I have no idea why, but I never read or watched The Lord of the Rings growing up. My boyfriend made me watch the extended editions of the movies earlier this year, and Sam became my favorite character instantly. So, naturally I just had to cosplay him!

(And yes, my bf was Frodo)

The majority of this cosplay is made from recycled materials, apart from the wig, ears, and cape.
