I'm gearing up for finals (as a history major, this is all papers) and I've got a lot to do after term ends as well, but I've neglected a lot of my life. Do I focus on rebuilding connections and schoolwork, or do I go hermitmode until I get everything off my plate (likely 2-3 months)?

Lately, I haven't been sharing my whereabouts with anyone—not even friends or family. Being an open book in the past led people to use my misfortunes against me and spread it to people who never deserved to know that. And in the end, that only made them feel pleasure witnessing my downfall. Hence, I've grown mistrustful of people, and whenever people ask me how I am, I give vague responses. So lately, I've been living a private life, and it's been peaceful, protecting my energy from evil eyes.

I thought by disappearing, i can be better and able to engage with other people as well. Hahaha aint gonna trust that logic anymore, u'll just gonna end up having those moment of questioning existentialism like,

What is the purpose of your life? Why you are the way you are? How u can end up in this situation at the first place? Why are you sad? Why you cant decide anything? Why people are so judgemental?

Wild thoughts and some of them are quite dark and not that positive.

So yeah, balance is the key, you can go hermit mode, staying out of sight from other people but dont overdo it.

But, the thing is doing balance is not that easy. Arh shit
