Who/where did you get your back tattoo done if you don’t mind me asking? I am looking to get Kiryu’s one day, and was wondering where you found someone who did such a good job!

I got mine at a local place (hotrod tattoo, AZ, artist Chuy) tho if you're looking to get something for yourself done, I would rec checking out artist portfolios at places of your choosing and seeing which you prefer! tbh a lot of this will come down to what you want out of the tat and what the artist is willing to do 👀

so like, for me, I wanted majima's tat done 1:1, style matching and all so it took me a few tries to find an artist who was willing to emulate the art exactly since some artists prefer doing their own thing or whatnot. the guy I found had a portfolio full of tats from other media in 1:1 styles as well as in general such a broad range of styles that I felt convinced he could get me exactly what I wanted 😊 plus he had a few japanese style tats so I could see how he'd handle things like the dark clouds typical of these tats (which is like 70% of majima's lol)

so if you're looking for kiryu's I would say ask yourself do you want it 1:1, or an interpretation, or something else, etc and go from there when you're looking for an artist and make it *very* clear your intentions just so communication is smooth and no one misinterprets things. and definitely don't settle if you're not 100% happy with whoever you find! I had to go thru multiple people and talk to them about the process till I really felt comfortable with the guy I finally picked. since these sorts of tats are huge af and expensive, defo make sure you have no regrets or hesitations when you start 👌

one of the things about temeraire is that like they're not the sort of books where one recounts the physical sensation of hearing the dragons speak bc it's just accepted in the universe where these books are written that dragons talk, so. does temeraire sound like a loud guy in your drawing room (as suggested by how people treat him to my memory, like, "we can absolutely hear whatever you think you're whispering, not that you're exactly subtle, but it's not causing us physical pain to hear you") or like rexy "roberta" T. rex of jurassic park with consonants

I'm starting my replay of DA2 and can I just say, I like the character creator well enough.....but I am personally insulted and offended that it doesn't give me the option to let my male Hawke wear make up.

Edgar Hawke is a man who wears the same smudged eyeliner all week, and you can tell what kind of day he's had by how much it's smeared all over his face. He's not great at putting it on but do you think he cares?? It's an integral part of his character and very important to ME.
