i've been meaning to comment on the DCEU for a long time now but always held back in hopes i wouldn't need to because something might change. for full transparency, this comes from someone who hasn't been able to fully involve myself with anything relating to comics for quite a few years now so what i say isn't worth taking to heart. but i was here when they launched the first movie, i was here when people were losing their minds at the hints of something more in the second movie, i was front row and center making content for the following few movies when everything came together and we finally got the big three on the screen
here's the thing and i'll keep it short: i loved snyder's vision and there were many who didn't. and from day one, i was fine with people not enjoying the movies because everyone has a different experience with the source material. i had made the prediction that after justice league, people would return to batman v. superman, to man of steel, and suddenly find it an enjoyable, full-circle trilogy; i made jokes when the exact thing happened because it was stupid and ridiculous and, at the end of the day, predictably funny. it didn’t ultimately matter to me because i genuinely enjoyed what i got and was happy to have more people on board. the bigger the party the bigger the snacks, baebey!!!!!!!!!!!
and then, i started losing steam. WB didn’t know what they wanted to do. they chose to listen to the part of the audience that was dissatisfied and often asked for more marvel-like works, which is not something i agreed with ✨but!✨ had they decided to actually change sails completely, to move towards that particular horizon wholly, i would’ve had more respect for the overall direction of the universe and likely stuck with it
the chopping and restitching and smashing of everything together until something hopefully comes out and then groaning when it doesn’t but maybe it did but oh boy who cooked it this way oopsie oh well hehe hihi was, and is to this day, nauseating to see. in its literal definition. it gives me vertigo every time i see another article about WB moving to a different direction with its DC movies. the enjoyable films that have come out since lose their charm the moment i realize they’ll either be ignored, retconned, or straight up misremembered in their own future material because there’s no unified vision. the big boss doesn’t know where he’s going so we’re forced to make multiple pit stops for gas without being allowed any coke zero, a bottle of pepsi max, a single bubblegum packet. spare some change, you little bitch
not even touching certain, uh, problems with actors involved because even with an immaculate roster none of this could’ve prevented me from silently dropping out when, at the end of the pitiful day, there’s no DCEU. what’s extended about this universe? my patience is

It’s not unusual for him to rewatch his matches sometimes. Part of it is appreciation for his own flawless physique, but part of it is to look at what hits he took, how best to avoid them, what he could have done differently or better in the future. And then, at the end, the beauty of pinning his opponent, knowing that he’s better than them.
It’s only after he gets Tony’s voicemail, begging and pleading for him to call him, to come back, that he revisits the Punk matches.
Not that he’s been avoiding them or anything.
But still. There’s going to be a unification of the titles, and it’s gonna be Moxley or it’s gonna be Punk, and he has a plan to handle either outcome, sure, but... best to know thy enemy.
Like he’s not intimately aware of his enemy’s entire catalogue of work.
So. Chicago. Their first one-on-one encounter.
The tape garotte is just as inspired and hilarious as it had been the first time, and he’s filled with a renewed dislike for Bryce Remsburg for insisting his first victory be disallowed.
And the fact that Punk had pulled out the Pepsi Plunge, just for him... it makes him feel some kind of special. That Punk was willing to fucking destroy himself for Max, in a way that he hadn’t winning the title off of Hangman, like Max was more deserving of that...
He ignores the fact that he’s rocking a semi. Carries on watching the match, even though he’s a little distracted thinking about what he’s going to get off to after he finishes it
Speaking of finishes.
When he gets to the second pin, the Chicago smarks losing their fucking feeble minds with rage, he notices something he hadn’t the first time around.
Which is that back then, as he’d rolled his weight on top of Punk’s torso, held him down for the one-two-three, Punk had been rocking a semi. Maybe more. Barely catches a glimpse as the camera pans over his crotch, but...
He rewinds it back ten seconds. Plays it again, to make sure. Watches the camera pan over them both, his weight half-over Punk, and he tries to ignore how clingy he looks in favour of the noticeable bulge in those camo print trunks, and...
Well. All thoughts of porn are out of the window.
He knows it happens. It’s happened to him, it’s happened to others, it’s a natural physical response to adrenaline and close proximity, skin touching skin, but...
The fact that it had happened to Punk.
The fact that it had happened to Punk, when he’d just taken his first L in eight fucking years, from the best of the best...
Would it be egotistical of him to get off on that? Probably, but the question implies that he gives a shit. Punk lost to him and got hard over it, and if anyone thinks he’s just going to let that one go unappreciated—
He pushes the shorts he’s wearing down to his thighs. Watches his own cock bounce up against his stomach, and in a moment of inspiration, cues up another video featuring Punk. Not one from a match. Spits on his palm as Punk, covered in his own blood, pushes aside the medical staff attending to him.
Wraps a hand around himself, grip almost punishingly tight. Strokes himself as Punk claps his hands, looking straight into the camera, addressing him directly, telling him that he deserves to be walked like a dog, beaten until his own mother wouldn’t recognise him, and fuck him, he doesn’t know shit about what Max deserves, but the fact is, he does deserve Punk’s undivided attention, and given his reaction here to what Max had done to him, job well fucking done—
Punk winks at the camera. Says his favourite little catchphrase like if he says it enough it might be true again, and Max comes with a choked cry, coating his hand and his chest. Lays on his couch, half stunned by his own orgasm, chest heaving.
Thinks a little bit more on that little hint he’d seen of the Punk of old, for long enough that he feels his cock twitch again. Strokes his fingers along the shaft again, and he’s still painfully sensitive, but… why not? He’s just got a pay increase, Tony’s given him assurances of a title shot, which means there’s yet another loss forecast on Punk’s horizon.
He’s going to have a fun night.

So I Just Finished Skam...
First of all, I loved it. It was an incredible show and I'm so glad that there are so many remakes because I enjoyed it so much. One of my favorite things about the show was the fact that it feels extremely realistic, and I think a lot of that is due to the fact that a majority of the actors were actual teenagers (rather than actors who are obviously in their mid 20s and playing characters who are 16) and the fact that the characters behaved like actual teenagers (like using Facebook and Instagram, using "bad" language, dancing and singing along to music, etc. etc.). The other thing I adored about this show was the amount of importance that was placed on friendship. Platonic relationships in fiction are normally vastly underrated or underdeveloped in favor of romantic ones, so I appreciated that Skam showed so many friendships. So I decided to make a list of my favorite friendship moments from each season (two moments per season, with honorable mentions at the end before moving on).
Season 1:
1) Noora cheering up Eva by singing Justin Bieber to her:
I am not a fan of Justin Bieber at all (if you like him, all the more power to you, but I personally can't stand him), but Noora singing to Eva was such a great moment. She knew how sad Eva was, and decided to cheer her up by sharing something that made her (Noora) happy, and it was a really sweet moment between friends. It was also something that is realistic to do when someone you care about is down, and even though it was a small scene, it showed how strong a friendship Noora and Eva have.
2) All of the bonding moments between Sana, Vilde, Eva, Noora, and Chris:
I know this is a vague one, but just the sheer amount of time the girls spend together, whether they are doing something important or just hanging out was really awesome to see. Most of the time, tv shows don't take time to show us little moments like characters talking about boys or just sitting hanging out unless it has a more dramatc purpose. With Skam, we got to see those moments, which made the friendship between the girls that much more realistic.
Honorable Mentions for Season 1:
Eva grabbing the wrong Chris for Vilde, leading both Chris and Penetrator Chris (love that nearly everyone calls him that in the show by the way) to share a huge hug and go "name twins!" because that's totally something I'd do if I met someone who shared my name.
Eva and Ingrid finally talking about everything that happened, giving them both closure and the ability to move on, even if their friendship would never be the same (this was such a great scene because it showed Eva apologizing and telling Ingrid that she couldn't change what she did, but she would if she could, and it also allowed Ingrid to be hurt by what happened with Jonas, because let's face it, Ingrid was the injured party in that particular situation).
Season 2:
1) Noora telling Vilde all of the important things that the ingredients for tortilla do for you, and Vilde later doing the same for Noora:
I love how all of the girls take care of one another, but this scene in particular I loved a lot. Noora has noticed that Vilde hasn't been eating, and after hearing Vilde tell her all the reasons she doesn't like potatoes, Noora tells Vilde all the reasons she should. Noora also does so in a way that isn't shaming Vilde or being condescending to her, rather, Noora brings it up in a casual conversation. Later, Vilde notices Noora not eating, and prepares tortilla for her, quoting what Noora told her about potatoes and eating it with her. I loved this scene because it showed how much Noora and Vilde understood one another, as well as the importance of support.
2) The amount of support given to Noora by the girls after she discloses what happened with Nico:
This one is a total no-brainer. Noora had no idea what had happened that night, and had very little to go off of, and she spent the next few episodes terrified. When she tells the girls what she thinks might have happened, they all immediately stop what they're doing and rally around her. The no-dialogue scene in which they take Noora to the doctor and hold her and keep her safe was incredibly touching, and to be honest, nearly made me tear up.
Honorable Mentions for Season 2:
Sana and Chris playing a joke on the girls at the cabin during their break, because that whole episode was hilarious, and the individual ways each girl reacted was totally in character for each of them.
All of the girls telling Noora that they knew about her and William, because it was the most obvious thing in the world, and Noora being sheepish and surprised that she hadn't been hiding it as well as she thought.
Season 3:
1) Jonas, Magnus, and Mahdi telling Isak what to text Even:
This scene was so funny, and not the type I usually get to see when it comes to male friendships. I love that Isak tells them that he has no idea how to reply to Even, and Jonas tells him what he should say, with Magnus and Mahdi inserting their opinions and talking about how they text girls. It was enjoyable to watch because too many times fiction shows us that boys don't have the same relationship confusion that girls do, and it's often not true. I like that this scene allowed the boys to just be boys, because everybody deals with uncertainty, especially when it comes to liking someone.
2) Linn and Even playing video games together:
I know this scene is literally like two seconds and that we only see them ending from Isak's perspective, but hear me out. I'm pretty sure this is the first scene we see that shows Linn actively smiling and looking happy. Also, Even had just come off of a manic episode, was feeling depressed, and when we see him playing video games with Linn, he too looks actually happy, which is always great to see. Plus, the way Linn and Even are interacting with one another, it looks like they've known each other forever rather than two people who have just met, and even though it was a fraction of a scene, it was super great to watch.
Honorable Mentions for Season 3:
The entire development of Sana and Isak's friendship (I almost broke my "only two friendship moments" per season rule for this, but I decided to stick to my guns). Isak and Sana have a great friendship and I love how it came out of nowhere. Their friendship is literally started by being partnered together for school, which only happened because Sana sat by Isak to tell him that she had the weed he hid (a beautiful start to a beautiful friendship).
Isak coming out to Jonas by telling him that he liked someone and giving him the hint that it wasn't a girl, and Jonas reacting by thinking about the hint for a minute and then going "it's not me...is it?" because the expression Jonas had on his face while he thought about who it could be was funny because it looked like the fact that Isak had just come out to him wasn't even on his radar, because he was more concerned about guessing right, and the fact that he guessed himself was humorous to me.
Season 4:
1) Chris being a total ride-or-die friend to Sana after the stuff regarding the hate accounts for Sara and Vilde came out:
Everybody needs a friend like Chris. She is without a doubt one of the most loyal tv show characters I've seen and I wish Skam had run for more seasons so we could get a Chris season (and a Vilde season and an Even season, and a spin-off for Eskild and Linn, who both totally deserve one). Chris is the first person Sana told about the Sara account, and the first thing she did was tell Sana that the hate would blow over if Eva found out the truth (because Eva and everybody else thought Isak was responsible for it, and Eva was pissed AF at him). Chris also made sure that Sana knew that she didn't hate her for what happened, because everybody screwed up (seriously, we all need a friend like Chris).
2) The girls showing up to the bus meeting in their own tiny bus named "Los Losers" for Sana, effectively showing all of the Pepsi-Max girls (like Penetrator Chris, that will forever be their name) that if you mess with one of them, you mess with all of them. Sana was terrified that the girls would never forgive her, and when they all show up in the bus screaming her name, the joy on Sana's face is practically tangible. I love that they all pull Sana into the bus and give the Pepsi-Max girls the finger as they drive off, because really, what better way to show the true bonds of friendship than by collectively flipping off a ton of girls who messed with one of their own.
Honorable Mentions for Season 4:
Sana and Even's friendship, and the fact that she protected and respected his privacy when Isak asked her why she never said that she already knew Even, because too many times do I see characters give away information to other people that isn't theirs to give, and the fact that it didn't matter to Sana that Isak and Even were together, she was still going to make sure that Even had a right to the details of his personal life was extremely important.
The conversation between Sana and Jamilla about their schooling and Islam, because the texts we see between them prior to their falling out show that they were very close, and it was nice to see them talk and reconcile, because that's how life works sometimes. You fight and fall out with people, and after time passes, sometimes there is reconciliation.

“that was embarrassing” and “it’s not funny”
I'm not sure if this was on the smut prompt list but this was so cute so I'm posting anyway. hope you like it!
it was the last and final time you would ever go rollerskating with Grayson for as long as you lived.
not only had you made an ass out of yourself in front of all of his friends with jokes you were certain they would understand but most certainly didn’t, but you had just fallen so hard onto the slick wooden rink that you currently sat on a hard, cold bench watching the others twirling and spinning around to the music with a makeshift ice-pack pressed against your forehead (if you can call the cold cup that holds your Pepsi an ice-pack). something was better than nothing.
it was the hardest fall you’ve had since you could remember, the stars swirling behind your eyelids with every blink making it more than clear to you that you might even have a concussion. all you wanted was sleep. sleep and silence.
Grayson hadn’t been able to swing himself around fast enough to break your fall let alone stop the laughter ringing in your ears as soon as your knees bowed, the sound of you body hitting the ground fresh in your mind still. a harsh pang to your forehead was the one thing that still made you cringe from your place off the rink. it was mortifying to watch a girl no older than seven laughing at you as she wizzed by with ease, some ridiculous 2000′s pop song blaring over the speakers.
“it wasn’t that bad” Grayson had tried consoling you over and over in your ear as you made your way back to the side of the rink- trying your best to ignore the hoots and howls of his friends. he flipped them to bird with a scowl, but it didn't seem to make much difference as Collin raced by with a sly “nice one Peterson!”
“that was embarrassing,” you’d grumbled. you tried to ignore the sympathetic look he’d given you, only confirming that it was in fact” embarrassing.
warning off the tears moistening your eyes without your consent was harder than you’d thought. but falling in front of children and friends, and then crying about it was just not something you wanted to be a part of.
that had been thirty minutes ago. thirty minutes of miserable spinning and nausea. of course it was probably your own fault for pushing yourself out of you small box and trying something different for once. an ode to your clumsiness. you hated physical activity- no matter what aid the wheels could have given you and even if you had been holding Graysons hand for most of the night.
that part hadn’t been as challenging: clinging onto your boyfriends arm and laughing at your legs sliding across the floor similar to that of a baby deer with skates. there really wasn’t any difference, but he made your blush form from one of embarrassment, to flattery with every minute that passed.
all was well until he left you to fend for yourself, something that you were still trying to keep to yourself. yes you were hurt, but no you didn't need to take it out on him out of anger.
Grayson sat beside you still, an arm wrapped across your chest while you both leaned back against the white cinderblock wall behind you both. glancing up at the wooden shoe cubby made your stomach roll, prompting a bemused chuckle from the now yawning man holding you loosely against him.
“it’s not funny,” you grumble, shooting him a glare that wasted far too much energy, shuffling down to get closer to his warmth that always provided the most comfort when you weren’t feeling so good.
he merely looked down quickly with a shake of his head, lips pressed together to hide the grin, “of course it’s not. I was just laughing at Max still trying to seduce Trina. he just doesn't learn.”
nice save.
you looked out onto the rink lit up with flashing lights of every color, wondering what time it had to be and if the smaller than average establishment would be closing soon. you spot a wobbly looking Max across the way, trying (and slightly failing) to skate backwards next to Trina who now wore an annoyed scowl. if you were in better shape and a much better mood, you would say to hell with sitting on the bench hurt and save your mutual friend from the annoyance of the boy that just couldn’t take the hint. you would have thought after two years of failed attempts he would give it up and move on.
with a side eye at Grayson you know he must be thinking the same, but chose not to say anything further. that was a talk for another time. you make a mental note to have Grayson talk to max soon about his constant pestering to the poor girl that wanted nothing more than to “live her free life freely” as she had said so many times. you’re sure it’s just her nice way of saying no, but knew she was truly a free spirit and being tied down by someone as high maintenance as max wouldn't be the best idea.
but tonight, all your mind could think to long for was home. your big fuzzy blanket, Graysons flannel pj pants you’d claimed as your own, the oversized Harvard sweater your sister got for you as a gag gift for Christmas two years ago after getting your denial letter in the mail, Graysons hands rubbing the stress knots out of your shoulders, and a hot bath. you presumed you deserved a resting night after throwing yourself so far out of the box and then getting hurt from it.
the best thing about Grayson? he read you like a book.
“you ready to head out? I'll tell the boys I'll text them later, or do you want to try again?”
“I think trying again might not be the best idea,” you croak, removing the cup and revealing the goose egg bump on your forehead. you want to smack him when he cringes, but instead give him a small smile.
“yeah, killer, I think you’ve had enough,” he grins, leaning forward to press his lips on yours once, twice, then three times before he finally gets up to say his farewells to his friends, stretching as he does so.
you watch silently while he made his way around to everyone he could find, stopping next to Max to whisper something in his ear. when he pulled back, max looked ashamed, something that shouldn’t have given you as much pleasure as it did. serves him right for not listening.
-
“I'm proud of you for trying something new,” he mumbles once the both of you climb into his car, your water-down Pepsi long gone, the heat blasting to warm up your chilled fingertips.
you want to ignore him, not being one for praise or pity, but also thankful that he noticed your attempt at trying to have fun in more ways than just burying your head in a book. you know it made him happy to see you trying for him, and for that you would give him a real smile. one of content instead of anguish.
“I'm proud of you for finally having some fun,” you rebuttal, giving him the best ‘I'm okay’ smile that you could through the throbbing in your temples.
his widened eyes and mock horror expression had you laughing harder than your headache agreed to, and you choke on that same laughter only a moment later.
“what exactly are you implying daisy?” he grumbled, turning the wheel to the right and backing out of the parking spot he squeezed himself into.
daisy. the best nickname anyone had ever given you.
“that you needed a break.”
“breaks are for the weak.”
“I think you mean smart gray,” you grab his hand without thinking, raising it to your lips with a soft glance over at the streetlight bouncing across the hazel of his irises, “you needed some friend time. Even if i ruined it with my stupid legs that don’t work and equally stupid jokes.”
“and you know what I think?”
“something dumb probably-” you fire before thinking, a joke of course. the pout he wore after was too hard to resist, your thumb finds his bottom lip without thinking to smooth them back with a fond smile.
“funny,” he smirked, “but I was going to say that you’re brave. You were very brave in letting people see you as you are and as you’ll always be, even if some of them didn’t get your jokes or loved you as much as i do.”
He said it softly, in a way that softened you to your core and sent a chill straight down your spine despite the hot air blasting from the vents. You fought the urge to curl in on yourself at the compliment, still not used to hearing such kind words even after all the time that you’ve been dating grayson who does nothing but compliment you and give you words of endearment. It was different, and sometimes scary.
“Hm i think you need some sleep,” is all you can bring yourself to say without sounding like a sappy hallmark card. You wanted to say more, something better than a witty remark - but could only allow yourself a small dose of something you’re not entirely sure how to handle. But you did know that you loved the way he looked over at you, noticing the high pitch of your voice and the way your hand seemed to squeeze his tighter. With a sigh of defeat he averts his eyes back to the orange tinted asphalt ahead, shaking his head with that same sheepish smile.
“I’ve never been more awake.”
The silence that followed was serene. Something you both understood to be easy. You’ve never had easy.
For a moment you weren't the embarrassing girlfriend of a man much too kind for you.
For a moment you believed that something good might happen to people like you.
For a moment all the world was a warm car in winter, black ice car freshener, a frank sinatra song turned all the way down on three, and a thumb rubbing a pattern across your knuckles.
For a moment the world was good and it didn’t matter that the headache was full force, the streetlights too bright to your sensitive eyes, the car seeming to move in slow motion while the city whirred past your window.
For a moment all there was was eyes full of something other than amusement, something deeper, richer than you’d ever seen before.
For a moment you allowed your heart to thump out of rhythm in your chest, your head to fall against the headrest, your eyes to shut, and the rubbing of his thumb to lull you to sleep.

Wtfock: I hate the main with the fire of a thousand suns and am forcing myself to watch at this point out of my love for the show in general and the rest of the characters. I am exhausted and furious.
España: Dani’s friends are trash, they made Yousef white while baiting the audience in the trailer that he would be a moc. Then they made the moc gay and villainous. Then they did it to Lucas too. Then they regressed Cris’ character development. And now they’re hinting that Amira might out Kasim to Dounia. Thanks I hate it.
Druck: Love Nora, love Fatou, but the Pepsi Max squad is a bunch of mean people who treat Nora like garbage yet people stan these trash people bc they are hot and have lgbt energy which is just...also exhausting. But at least the season has me super invested and it’s been really good so far.
Anyway the next several weeks are gonna be rough.

What change or original storyline/scene did you enjoy the most
Hi anon!
I was a really big fan of Lucas’ storyline, but my favorite changes are the ones to Viri’s storyline, hands down.
I find Vilde’s s1 storyline so horrid and traumatic. We know she comes from a single parent household, that her mom has issues with alcohol, that she’s in a more precarious situation money-wise than all her peers. And on top of that, her first time is with a guy who refuses to put on a condom, who screenshots her topless pic but doesn’t reply, who tells her she’s not even good enough to be a trophy. Vilde stops eating and thinks she must’ve gotten pregnant because she stops menstruating. She’s so overwhelmed that she drinks until she passes out at a random party. Which part of this isn’t horrifying?
Skam España has also hinted at Viri having money issues, and possibly living with an alcoholic (her contribution to Cristian’s party is a bottle she apparently had laying around at home). This is already hard enough on a teenager.
I like that Alejandro attempted to make it good for her by eating her out, and that he planned on using a condom.
I like that Nora made a point, specifically, of telling Alejandro not to treat Viri like that again, and that he made fucking sure he followed that order.
I like that Viri didn’t have to deal with a pregnancy scare, and that her biggest concern was whether Alejandro may have given her genital herpes. I also LOVE that this moved the fandom to read up on and write discourse about herpes. I feel that Skam España fulfilled one of the goals of og Skam, which was to educate teenagers on issues that concern them.
But, most importantly, I love that Viri earned her spot back on the girl squad. Vilde never apologizes for her words to Eva and Sana in season 1. She’s welcomed back because Sana has Vilde’s back no matter what, and because the girls are horrified at what happened to her.
I feel like people either don’t see or don’t realize just how ballsy Viri was in calling Cristian out on instagram. Amira says that Viri always wanted to be in with the cool kids. Viri says she didn’t want to look bad in front of Inés and Alicia, and that’s why she shared the Eva/Cristian pic with them. So, and this is the crux of the choice Viri is faced with: unlike Vilde, Viri had been accepted by the cool kids. Not as an equal, for sure, but more as someone you put up with because she’s (been) useful. Viri actually realizes that she pulled a dick move on Eva, and seeks to make up for it. She puts the school chatter back on Cristian, publically, for anyone to see on instagram. And she knows that’ll make her lose whatever little status she had. She’s in fact threatened by Cristian over it. But she sticks to her decision, even though she didn’t know whether the girl squad would take her back.
Vilde only sticks up for one of the girl squad in s4, when she, Noora, Chris and Eva confront the Pepsi Max girls and defend Sana. Vilde only did that in season 4, and she was backed up by the girl squad.
Viri did it in season 1, on her own.
Ask me anything meme.

The greatest gift Skam France has given me so far is that I can’t help but see Daffy and Imane as Angela and Phyllis from The Office when Phyllis managed to take over the party planning committee from Angela.
Good: I like the girl squad.
Less good: Contrivances that come with doing a close remake.
Clip 4 (post-cabin return)
Yann saying some “not like the other girls” bullshit is aggravating but I mean … it’s very much something a teenage boy would say. I’m not really going to hold it against him. Character flaws are good. Also, if I’m being optimistic about the show, you could say they’re going to knock down all this “girls are superficial” crap with the formation of the girl squad and the power of female friendships, so potentially it’s there on purpose.
On that note, I want to give the remakes the same trust I had in Skam at its best; the thing is, I’m not sure it’s earned it yet, because it’s such a close remake that I can’t actually get a sense of this production’s own values. If the series were to write a new season about Daffy or Alex or Yann from scratch, what would it be like? The one thing Skam France has really done to build some trust on its own merit, IMO at least, is cast more POC; other than that, their choices have made me trust them less (not casting actual teenagers is the biggest one for me). Skam broke the audience’s trust in certain areas, but it also did a number of things right that created the trust in the first place. People were disappointed in S4 partly because S3 had handled so many sensitive issues well. Anyway, this will be easier to discuss later in the season as it is still early.
Emma smiling after Yann compliments her is the most I’ve liked her so far and the most natural the actress has seemed, as well as the most chemistry this couple has had.
Clip 5 (Manon and Emma in Spanish class)
I like Manon. She has a different vibe from Noora and seems a bit softer and less sure of herself, whereas Noora seemed outwardly confident and outspoken. Noora was confident enough to correct the teacher and Manon was all “I’m just trying to be nice” (although lol, mentioning that Emma didn’t do her homework is throwing her under the bus a little).
Here’s a minor example of how scene flow and motivation sometimes seem muddled, though. In the original, Noora rescued Emma by being all, “Here’s the mistake you made, teacher” and Eva was like ???? How did you know that? and Noora explained that she lived in Madrid. Whereas in this version, this is like …Manon speaking very good Spanish, from what I can tell? But not presenting herself as an authority like Noora did, but it’s still treated as this thing that needs an explanation. Like maybe Manon is just gifted at Spanish? That’s not exactly unusual. But I might be missing some other context lost in translation, I’d like to know if there’s something I didn’t notice (like IDK, Manon’s Spanish accent is different from the one typically taught in French high school Spanish classes). It’s not a huge thing, just something that seemed a bit off.
Not trying to start a ship war or anything but Noora/Eva was way way WAY gayer in this scene. Remember when Noora was talking to the teacher in defense of Eva and Eva stared at her as if she’d seen the goddess of her dreams? Remember when they looked at each other afterwards and there was a ton of eyes flitting down to each other’s lips? That was a thing that happened, very blatantly. The whole “Eva wants to be friends with Noora” thing was SO much more drawn out, over the first three episodes and ended up having a bunch of parallels to the later canon couples on the show (Eva stalking Noora’s Facebook vs. Isak checking out Even and Sana checking out Yousef). Like by all means, board that Manon/Emma ship and set sail, I can see it from Manon’s end, but nothing came close to Eva’s heart-eyes. H!
I mean this is throwing down the gay gauntlet to Skam France. Bring out yer lesbians.
This is not a substantial comment at all but I am in love with Manon’s white cardigan.
Clip 6 (girl squad UNITES)
Okay, I wanted to talk about this clip in particular, because I went back and rewatched the scene in the original, and I was really impressed at how good Julie’s directing can be. I think we know she can pull off the big showstopper moments, but she’s also great at getting the little details that you don’t even think about until you’re actually analyzing the scene. Conversely, there are parts in the remake that come across as contrived.
I was a little worried about Daphne/Daffy in the first episode, but I liked her more here. “Liked” in the sense that I felt better about the actress, not that she was at her most likeable here.
So the introduction of Imane to the group.
The original scene does something where Chris enters and is in the frame on the left and says, “This is Sana, she wants to be on the bus” (paraphrasing) and then the camera slides over the empty space to reveal … a Muslim girl. There’s kind of an element of surprise which is certainly how Vilde reacts; I don’t want to speak on behalf of Norwegians, but I wonder if it wasn’t done for the audience as well? Considering the attitudes about Muslims and russ not mixing in S4. (I mostly just want to mention this shot because I think it’s effective. The remake makes Imane immediately visible next to Alex.)
Vilde is instantly taken aback and appears to eye Sana up and down. Her first question is to ask how Sana and Chris know each other, which in this context doesn’t seem like friendly small talk, but disbelief (”how could you two possibly know each other?). Her obvious discomfort and the sudden tension is what I think makes Sana reply sarcastically about meeting at the mosque. Then we have the incredibly awkward moment of Vilde asking whether Sana can participate in russ as a Muslim. She never actually accepts Sana into the group during this scene.
In the remake, when Alex asks if Imane can join them, Daffy’s discomfort is less obvious (it’s there but it’s shorter and less pronounced from an acting perspective) and she says yes. Yes, she also says a bunch of dumb shit 10 seconds later. But the first thing she says is agreeing to have Imane on board. That should immediately set a different course for the scene, because even though Daffy is being ignorant, she is at least superficially accepting Imane into the group. Her asking how Imane and Alex know each other is therefore not quite as hostile in this context, but Imane makes the same comment about meeting in the mosque. So … did Imane manage to pick up on Daffy being uncomfortable anyway because she’s used to microaggressions? Because she figured a bunch of white girls would instantly question why a Muslim girl wanted to be involved? Or is she just making a joke by way of introduction? All of these are plausible explanations, but this is part of the problem with doing such a close remake. You end up keeping the dialogue and events the same even when the execution - the directing and acting and staging - doesn’t really flow or match. I don’t need to be force-fed explanations for why someone says or does something, but I also am not sure much thought is going into some of these interactions besides “it happened in the original.”
Just a note about the directing: In the original scene, after Sana is introduced, Julie puts the camera behind Chris, and has Vilde keep looking over to her, both for guidance (”can you help me out with this situation”) and in a “why did you bring her” sort of way. It’s a pretty interesting choice that adds an extra complexity to the scene; it’s not just this racially tense conversation between Vilde and Sana, it’s also adding the silent conversation that Vilde is trying to have with Chris and taking note of that relationship. Especially I think Vilde does feel stupid after Sana makes the comments about the mosque and the stoning. I mean, she was being ignorant and I can’t say I feel bad for her in this moment. But Chris is her best friend in the group, the only one she’s close with so far, and Chris is loudly and obviously laughing at a joke make at Vilde’s expense. Chris has taken Sana’s side, in a sense, making it a sort of betrayal to Vilde. How could you invite someone like that to be on the bus with us, how could you laugh when she’s making fun of me?
The remake doesn’t have this extra layer in its direction; it’s shot in a pretty straightforward way, the conversation between only Daffy and Imane, really. And that doesn’t mean it’s bad, but it does show how different directorial decisions can add subtext and layers in the smallest of ways.
There is a more lingering shot of Daffy toward the end, which does not bother me nearly as much as the lingering shots of Lucas, because a) Emma is sitting there anyway and b) it’s not revealing anything we couldn’t have guessed about Daffy’s state of mind from her dialogue and attitude in the rest of the scene, while the bits with Lucas hint at something that he’s hiding.
OK, I have to mention this, too. Does Imane go to parties? If so, wouldn’t it be likely one of the other girls would have seen her at some parties? Especially for Daffy who would surely see a Muslim girl and go “does not compute.” If not, then why does she want in on this one specific party all of a sudden? It made sense for Sana to want in on this specific cultural event, that has a lot to do with proving herself and tying her Norwegian/Muslim identities together, and saw the girl squad as an opportunity to be on a bus when Pepsi Max and other groups would likely reject her. It makes less sense here for Imane to … want to be popular? If she wants that, then what was she doing before to achieve that goal? Is this a new aspiration of hers and if so, what motivated that change? Does she just want to make bank on this party? But overall, it’s just murkier why Imane would want in on this random party, especially a party thrown by the school losers. Unless she just wants friends, which is fair enough!
All of this could potentially be really interesting if they explored it. Maybe they will have Imane talk about her reasons by the end of the season. And honestly, if I hadn’t seen this story already, I probably wouldn’t question it at this point. My issue is that I get the feeling they’re not going to account for this shift in motivation and just do a shallow find+replace on the situation without taking into account the different context.
That said, despite all of this, I loved Imane right off the bat. And Alex!
But like … garr, the setup of the whole hitting-on-Lucas gag is SO much more contrived than in the original, like Chris was actually standing there while Vilde was talking to Eva. Isak was sitting directly in front of her. Her flirting fit the scene while this other conversation between the girls was happening. Alex is super cute and charming and if you look at it charitably, it’s a nice establishing character moment? But less charitably, it’s an attempt to shoehorn in a moment from the original even when the blocking and directing doesn’t fit. (It reminded me of Julie’s comments in the script for 3.5 about how she changed the locker room scene because of the way the room looked, and the blocking made it difficult to film what she wrote, so they re-did the scene. I hope they feel free to do that here.)
Clip 7 (girl squad PLANS SOCIAL DOMINATION)
I don’t have much to say about this clip because it felt like a bit of a non-entity compared to the original. The original clip felt very much like an establishing scene for Sana as a character more than anything. Sana had all the answers, never hesitated, spoke so confidently, and the longer it went on the more you were astonished by this girl, until she was nodding in satisfaction and essentially congratulating herself for a job well done while the other girls sit around her in stunned silence around their new queen. I do like Imane but because the clip was so much shorter, and felt kind of perfunctory, it lacked that specific punch. Even the way it ended, like YOU HAVE TO DUMP YOUR BOYFRIEND, felt more like a ooooOOO wacky cliffhanger, what will Emma do? sort moment, more than an emphasis on Imane.
There’s one little moment I like, when Alex and Imane are talking at the beginning and Manon looks over at Daffy who gives her this look and small smile, like it’s friendly but there’s also some exasperation and disappointment behind it, “this is not the way I imagined this going” kind of feeling. It’s the sort of tiny and subtle beat that I want to see more of in the show.
Maybe I’m missing something because I don’t speak French, or I’ve missed it in the social media, but when is this party supposed to be? Because I thought the synopsis for the show said that they would be planning the party over the first two seasons?
General Thoughts:
One thing I will say is that it’s becoming clear that pacing matters. Not just the pacing of the clips as spread day by day, but the pacing within the clips themselves. I think part of the reason Skam felt really natural to us is that events took time to unfold, the show was not afraid to have long pauses or silences and to let moments breathe, to let tension build or realization dawn or slowly change the tone of a scene. With Skam France it’s apparent that the scenes are often rushed. They’re just plowing through the dialogue. If there are time restraints that mean the show has to air within a set amount of time, then there was unnecessary stuff this episode that could have been cut to make room for more important content.
The reworking of the russebuss into a generic party is pretty contrived as many have noted, but I want to get an answer on when the damn party is supposed to take place before I comment further.
I like all of the girl squad so far except Emma. Sorry! I’m not trying to drag this actress, she’s just … not there. I can’t imagine her pulling off the vulnerable moments later in this season. I would be happy to be proven wrong.
The thing about Lucas is that I don’t necessarily think he’s a bad actor, but he seems like the most obviously “acting” and the least natural and so far he doesn’t quite fit in what’s supposed to be a hyper-realistic teen drama. I could see him doing a good job in a different type of production like a stage play where everything’s heightened and dramatic.
But I also saw some people who speak French be like nah, he’s pretty bad so (shrug). I do think you can kinda see him think “here’s my line” and “here’s where I hit my mark” in his scenes.

Omg preach! I’ve been saying this since the start even before the absolute shit show unfolded. It annoys me so much that it’s just been plonked in between seasons that all flow so well, they even managed it with Wtfockdown.
This is yet another reason a Moyo (or Britt) season would’ve been a better choice! They could’ve been so clever with how they weaved Moyo’s growth from season 3 into his struggles and how they are similar to Yasmina. Or (if ya really need a white blonde main for the audience to connect with 😒🙄) how Britt could’ve grown and been explored and for ice not villainised and fit that into Pepsi Max storyline in Yasmina’s.
Honestly the lost potential of it all. How can we see this but the people in charge of this stupid thing can’t!?!
like there is obviously difficulty in making the decisions but i just... would have loved to be a fly on the wall for the discussions abt them doing THIS... like who in their right mind thought it was a good idea i’m honeljkljsktljlktr dumbfounded. every time i wake up it’s like a tiny part of me dies a little. any existing character would’ve been more fitting for this, although obviously if wtfock were going to hint at race being a central topic... it really shouldn’t have been a white person out here. they haven’t even done much abt that either considering we are halfway through and all we have is a racist main character who has gotten away with the things she’s said? kglfjkglf i jusuutjstjst... and like how is her nonsense gonna transition to yasmina at all. we see yasmina here going back and forth on when she chooses to call kato out and when not to, but it blows my mind that the same ppl who thought up wtfockdown... did this too. like it amazes me truly. in a very bad wayflkds.
#easks#im just so sad abt it like btich... my brain is so picky abt the things she gets hooked on#it's obnoxious that i'm still stuck here#Anonymous

What color are the words: bookshelf, tapestry, and lemonade?
I think whole words that are not names and single letters are hard to connect to colors....but Tapestry is definately magenta/hot pink. Which is wierd because the letter T is brown.
Bookshelf is gray, or silvery. I had to make up my mind about that one but now I can't see it any other way. It's a light/medium gray though. Like the color of old pavement?
Lemonade have a brown color to it. Like a mixture of yellow/gold and brown. Like the color of Pepsi Max in Pepsi Max commercials. I don't see the word Lemonade as all yellow. It's not all black, not all brown-brown but with a hint of gold to it. Like an Ice Tea more than actual Lemonade. I hope you understand.
If you want you can tell me the first letter of your name or your whole first name (if you' want) instead. I am better at connecting colors to singular letters, first names and days of the week. There are some words I am certain about though. In fact take 'word' for example:
Word or word like a mixture of purple and blue. They didn't have that color in Tumblr. How sad. Like a mysterious, dark purple. Like the dark purple wizard hat underneath big yellow stars.
I do feel however that the word Tapestry (of the words you sent) is more fluffy soft, than actual tapestry itself. When you say it it's like a soft breeze gently touching your cheek. It's warm but it's light and welcoming. I like the word Tapestry. It is a nice word and has a nice ring to it. Like you want to smile when you say it. I think that is my favorite word of all three of them!
You must think I sound insane, dear Anon. But I have always loved to write and I am a sucker for words! Always! I have words that I like really much. Some of them does not have a nice meaning to it though... but they sound pleasant and fun even though the actual meaning is sometimes not fun at all! (I really wish they would have yellow and dark blue in Tumblr!!)
Tusen takk Anon!
(The word "Anon" by the way is white. And "Tusen Takk/thousand thank you's/thank you so much in Norwegian" is definately red.)
#why is the viking like this??#where does this whole thing come from??#i dont know it has just always been stuck with me#i know i have added some things you didnt ask for anon#but i got carried away because i really love words ...especially the word tapestry got me carried away#viking got asked

I was thinking, besides the fact that julie hates wlw, why did she had to screw up all the girls in the show? like, emma can't get a hint, sonja could be a supportive girlfriend but she decided to just make her seem like a bitch, the pepsi max are just fake bitches, vilde talked about sana behind her back, noora hooked up with sanas love interest (and yeah she didnt know but was it really necessary to create all that tension between them?). anyway julie hates girls.
yes completely, she really treated the female characters so horribly outside of season 1. like i really feel like there’s so much misogyny in the show and i’m gonna direct you to this post about the misogyny in season 3 bc it’s 8am and i can’t be analytical right now!!! but yeah the show is so misogynist it’s such bullshit

Can ONE Exhaust Fan Make a Difference? Read This Must

I am kind of doing this impromptu because I received more than a few comments about the lack of an exhaust fan in the P 400 A and how my conclusions were somehow skewed because I didn't include another fan. I just use the fans that came with the case that were installed out of the box. Do you guys know why I do that? I test things out of the box because that's how most people tend to leave things. I don't expect all of you to have extra fans laying around. You can pull from build to build, although that would be ideal. I just don't like to leave those people out. So I stressed in that video. This was going to be more of a worst-case scenario because first off, we're using the white version, which is going to reduce the porosity of the front panel, but also that we were using just the three fans because 3 fans are typically enough for most cases out there. I'd say at least most mid towers 3 fans should be enough. I left them in the stock config because I figured. Fantex knew what they were doing. If you have a porous front panel, they're gonna put as many fans up there as you can because you can get more air into the case and whether or not it's a negative or a positive pressure differential between the case and atmosphere.

I think that that's more or less irrelevant. A lot of people who do this case, testing for living between people at work and in Vidya, HMD and elsewhere will tell you that the pros and cons of positive and negative pressure really kind of the kind of balance each other out, whether you're doing one or the other. As long as you have some movement of air in and out of the case, that's what you should be going for. And you guys were hinting at a few of you were hinting at how including an exhaust fan would speed up that air removal process, get rid of some of that heat in lower c_p_u_ temps, possibly even gravid. Scrafton's I'm not sure how a single exhaust fan at the rear. Next to the c_p_u_ cooler is going to affect graphics for temps. We'll find out in this video. The whole point is to learn something. So we're gonna see if one exhaust fan can make a heck of a difference because that's what some of you seem to think. So we'll see. If you're rocking the Windows 10 operating system and haven't activated your copy, click the link below and purchase an OEM license from the SCD key, then click here, here, here and then pastry activation key and you'll have a fully activated OS in seconds. And be sure to use my office code as a studio for an 18 percent discount on your order. So we will need to rebuild our entire system in this case. That's OK. Part of the job, not a big deal. Some of you were complaining about the fact that I was using the stock vans. That's not going to change. I'm not going to swap these fans for knocked with fans. Not going to happen. You can go to other channels for that stuff. I'm going to test what comes in the box. And I might add to that just to play around with it like we're gonna do in this video, but I'm not going to swap these out entirely. Some of you are saying that these fans weren't ideal for pulling air through. If that's the case, that's Fantex fault. And I'm still going to conclude the way that I concluded the original review. We did also test the viability of the mesh by completely masking it off and allowing air to be pulled in from the top and bottom, as was the case in traditional P 400 and concluded that the mesh itself was not very effective at allowing air to pass through it. So I'm not sold on the idea that replacing these fans will magically make the mesh any more porous. That's why I ran the tests that I did in that video. So these fans are going to stay here. There's my justification for that. The only variable in this video is going to be that single exhaust fan. We're just gonna see help make a difference that one fan makes for temperatures on both our c_p_u_ and graphics card. Yeah. All right. Let's build and then I will show in real-time. The tests will try to replicate our results from the review video first and then we'll throw that one fan in there and see how things change. I would try a cool jump getting ready for this. Three, two, one. All right. Now is probably really cheesy, but I was like 20 minutes of work. It's pretty straightforward. All right now. Coming up on 30 minutes for this test, I kept the monitor pretty far away from the case, too. I don't want the heat from the monitor to affect temperatures here. We want to keep this isolated. I've made sure Pepsi is not messing with anything. Pepsi. So you're not messing with anything, right? All right, so let's stop this test and we are going to put up here two statistics and look at that core five eighty-five degrees. That's exactly what we found last time. And GPE diodes 77 degrees. Let's see, I have my phone here to double-check and remember exactly what graphics card temps were. As long as we're within 1°c Celsius of yesterday's temperatures will be OK. P 400 a panel on eighty-five. Seventy-seven. OK, cool. So exactly what we got yesterday on this test. So if you were doubting my results from yesterday, you'd see it in real-time here. By the way, all of our fans are running at a 50 percent fan curve. The reason why I use 50 percent and I don't set it to an hour p.m. specifically is because every case fan is different. So every fan is Pepsi. What are you doing? Hey, what do you what are you doing? What are you doing? Anyway, every case Fanis designed to run at a different hour PM. If you buy certain fans that are meant to run quietly, they're probably going to have a lower operating our PM. And that's just because the slower the fan rotates, typically the choir at a quieter it is. So I set a fan curve for all of our case tests to 50 percent on the motherboard. So no matter what fan I plug into it, whether be voltage or p.w im, those fans are set to run 50 percent max load. This is fair in my eyes because if you throw a 200mm fan in here, right, those fans are going to Patsy. Those fans are going to turn much slower than 120mm fans because they know how to turn fast to move the same amount of air. So 50 percent of that fan curve that Max Arpey on might be 400 or p_m_. Right. Whereas these fans might be operating closer to a thousand. I think they're operating at like 950 at a 50 percent curve. So that's why it's not going to be the same. Our p_m_ for every fan. And that's just because some fans are designed to run slower than others. I'm not going to fault or give an advantage to any stock fan. They're all gonna run at the same percentage of their full curve, their full potential. The exhaust fan we're gonna be using is the Kromaggs in October and F F 12 p.w M at 120mm fan. It is a black fan, unlike some of not was frankly ugly or brown ones, which is nice. That's why they call it Kromaggs. Or some other reason I've called Max is that you can swap these out. Black looks good with really any background color you have. Yellow, blue, green, red, white and black rubber vibration mounts that you can install pretty easily on these fan frames and you can effectively change the color and theme of the fan to match your build. So another perk of the Kromaggs fans is also going to run fairly quiet because it is an octave event. After all, I've linked one of these down below, if you're interested. Not with something a long time ago for builds and whatnot, and I haven't taken the time to showcase one of these four guys. So this is what we're gonna use, 50 percent fan curve. The operating our p.m. is like 50 hundred p.m. so take that into account for a PIN again and the acoustic noise twenty-two points four d.E.A. OK. All right. Let's throw this into the system. All right. And we've just crossed the 30-minute threshold. I can see things have leveled out. They may live it up quite a while ago. And that's indicative of their cool build, right? You can saturate a smaller c_p_u_ cooler fairly fast, whereas if you're using an AoE or something that involved water, then you would have to let this run for. I would say at least 30 minutes it probably longer than that in some cases, depending on how big the loop is because it takes a lot more energy to heat water, a unit of water, a certain amount of water by one degree Celsius. So this is just for good measure, right? Running at this long, we're gonna click stop and we're going to check these stats again. And the hottest core again was score five. Eighty-five degrees Celsius. Now, this is interesting. So I didn't expect this at all. This is weird. The GP diode, that's just the diode in the GPO itself to measure temps 74 degrees Celsius. That is, if I recall correctly, a three degrees Celsius drop from the non-exhaust fan run. So it's probably happening as the exhaust fan is pulling out more of the air than would be the case if we didn't have an exhaust fan that allows the internals of this case to run at a slightly lower pressure than stock. So we were running at a fairly positive pressure, to begin with. This kind of reduces the differential between the atmosphere and the internals of the case. And that probably allows the graphics card to pull more air into the shroud from behind. Right. So there's more pressure inside the case and there is an atmosphere. It's going to be harder for the graphics card to pull even more air inside the case because remember, no pressure flows from high to low. Right. So we're areas of high pressure exists that wants to escape. It wants to go up that vent the atmosphere. And so that's counteracting the pull of the graphics card, trying to get that fresh air in from the back, which is what we saw with the H. 500. Right.

That's why graphics card temps and H 500 were a lot better than we expected, despite not having a fan up front giving the card fresh air because we were running a negative setup. In that case, the graphics card had no issues pulling fresh air in from the back. Interesting results here. So now what I've done just for one more test because I feel like while we're at it, we might as well try a few other things. I'm going to max out the fan curve for the exhaust fan. So now you can see remember on the box that it was around fifteen hundred are ppm plus or minus 10 percent. So right now at full speed, we're at about fourteen hundred little over fourteen hundred our ppm for that exhaust fan. It will remain this speed for the duration of the test. And now we are going to see if the c_p_u_ can drop by even one degree Celsius. And coming up on 30 minutes, one last time here, we're gonna hit stop. Statistics.

And look there finally our hardest core, core 5 has dropped by four degrees from eighty-five to eighty-one. So we could conclude a few different things from these tests. First up, I don't want you guys to generalize us too much because we only tested one case. Every case is going to have its unique airflow characteristics. I will say, though, that we can kind of generalize this, at least for mid towers with somewhat restricted front panels. And in situations where we have three fans that are trying to pull air through a restricted panel, I think this is where this would apply to most adding an exhaust fan and benefit the graphics card for reasons we explained a bit earlier. As for the c_p_u_, we saw no temperature change at all when the fan was running at 50 percent of its max are p_m_. If you do decide to run that fan at 100 percent of our p.m. for the entire gaming session or whatever workload session you're running, then sure your CPO will benefit from that. My point is you won't see those gains until you set that fan to some unrealistic curve. I would not advise anyone to go out and just by default set your fan curve to 100 percent for the entire load. That to me is just it's not realistic and you don't need to do that. Your S.P. is gonna be just fine running two or three degrees hotter assuming you're not already at T-junction and assuming you're not being Thorold thermal throttle. So. I mean, the graphics card sure benefited by, what, 3 degrees? I'll give you that that's a noteworthy decrease in temperature just by hitting an exhaust fan. You would think at first that it would affect that. I was kind of surprised at first, but I think it makes sense the more we look into it. But yeah, the c_p_u_, I mean you've got to turn this fan up to get it to pull more heat from the c_p_u_ cooler. We've already got a sequel or fan effectively exhausting air like it's pushing air through the exhaust vents in the case. So adding a second fan there is just going to speed that process a bit more. But you're only going to see those results again when the fan is turned up. So I'm not willing to outright say that an exhaust fan will radically change anything about the tests that we run. Having an exhaust fan is good. It's a good practice, even if it's a cheap fan, assuming it's not going to run super loud again around a 50 percent curve. That's just what I use. Other viewers might use 40 percent, 80 percent. Heck, they might set a specific APM for every fan and that's fine. They can justify how they want. I feel like I've justified mine enough in this video, but I'm willing to say that yeah, exhaust fans. I'm not going to throw into every case. If manufacturers choose to throw one up there, that's fine. I'm still content on testing cases. Exactly how they come out of the box. Someone said, well, what if a case doesn't come with any fans? Well, in that case, what I would do is include two or three fans would probably only be two, and then I would add the price of those fans to the price of the case. Not gonna be expensive fans, but I expect that people who buy this case will also have to buy fans. So if you're not going to include fans out of the box, then I'm going to add that to the price or my overall outlook of that case. So that's how I do it. Everyone's getting the stuff differently, but at least we learned something. I learned something. I didn't know that adding an exhaust fan would change graphics attempts more than c_p_u_ terms at a lower curve. So that's interesting because I enjoyed this one. but now we'll catch you in the next one. This is E-News Gear. Thanks for learning with us. So, it looks like Sana will end up leaking screenshots of the messages exchanged between Sara and Isak in the past by using Noora’s e-mail. Because she feels hurt by Noora and she probably blames her for stealing Yousef from her, even though she knows Noora had no idea about Sana’s crush on Yousef because Sana never hinted at it. Although Noora has been the closest to her and quit the bus because Sana did, Sana doesn’t seem like she softened her feelings towards Noora, especially after overhearing Yousef and Noora decided to meet. If Sana leaks those messages, the followings might happen:
Sana and Noora’s friendship will be hurt,
Isak and Sara will have an argument,
Noora and Sara will have an argument,
Isak will realize it is Sana who did it and their friendship will be hurt,
Vilde will feel hurt when the whole school finds out about her mom,
Vilde will feel hurt by both Sara, Noora, Sana and Isak,
Eva will feel hurt again by Sara,
Sara and Ingrid’s friendship will be hurt,
Sara’s bus leader status will be impaired because of backbiting both the Girl Squad and the Pepsi Max Gang.
To sum up, shits 'bout to go down you!

Skam season 4 theory - mega post
So for the past few hours all the lovely angels from the discord chat have been bouncing all our thoughts and theories around Until @newlevelofdesperate and I actually ended up with a pretty realistic theory as to how all this shit is really going to go down yo
So get yourselves a nice cup of tea and settle in because this gets looooong
Mikael, Even and Yousef –
It’s pretty evident that whatever went down in Bakka involved all three of these guys. But I feel like one of the most reasonable explanations here is that Mikael, Yousef and Even were friends. Really good friends. Possibly they knew each other since middle school (like Jonas and Isak) but then Yousef and Mikael began to become distant to Even and instead began to hung out with the balloon squad. Boys who are also involved in Islam. This, we then feel may have prompted Even to learn the Quran, as a desperate attempt to cling onto the friends he could only fear of losing. Of not wanting to be alone.
We then feel like this led him to do something during his mania that ostracised him completely from his school and everyone he knew. We can see from the youtube video that the balloon squad reacted to Even’s name like it was nothing but a joke and an exciting story to tell, which is how we feel everyone around Even treated it. While Mikael and Yousef didn’t have anything to do with the incident or with how people treated Even afterwards, they also didn’t do anything to help Even during the times he needed them either. And we think that is what is eating them both up. The guilt that they weren’t the kind of friends Even needed and left him at a time where he needed them more than ever. Yousef also seems a hell of a lot more emotionally affected by whatever Even did at Bakka, which is why we believe that Evens Bakka story is a lot more directed at Yousef than Mikael who we originally focused on in association with Even’s history. And this is why Yousef’s reaction to Even’s name in the youtube video was a lot more emotional than Mikaels and the boys (who weren’t really emotionally attached at all)
But then of course….what did he do?
Russ Buss
Russbuss has always been an important factor to Sana and is continuing to have an importance in her season and her need to prove that she can belong in both worlds, the one with her faith, and the one where she can participate in Norwegian culture and still be Sana. We feel like this could become a problem for her later on. Perhaps the girls eventually succumb to the russbuss previously known as Pepsi Max’s bus. And Sana is not allowed to join because of her faith.
This then made us think that maybe Even’s story connects with his russbuss too. Maybe russbuss is a much bigger theme than we ever thought. The thought came up that perhaps Even wanted to join the russ with his friends Mikael and Yousef, but wasn’t allowed because he isn’t muslim. Maybe that prompted him to learn the quaran? And maybe that is what led him to do something during his mania. Something to the buss perhaps? Just like Sana who is having trouble being a part of a russ because she’s muslim….maybe Even couldn’t join because he wasn’t? Maybe Even wanted so desperately to understand his friends and their religion but no one ever let him? And in doing so, they also failed to understand Even. It was also brought up in the discord chat that Even doesn’t seem like the russbuss type which we agree with, but it makes a lot of sense that Even would do anything to hang onto his friends and the people who he could always rely on (we have seen him do this with Sonja in s3) and when those things didn’t work, the concept of him saying, writing or doing things connected to this struggle during his mania makes even more sense. And to connect the current russbuss drama with the old would be an interesting reflection on both characters and stories.
Even and Sana Mirror
@heltchill brought up this idea that Even may actually be Sana’s mirror, which prompted another discussion on this theory.
We already talked about Even who could have experienced the same challenges that Sana might face this season with the russbus. While Even may have been left out for not being a Muslim , people keep reminding Sana that she doesn’t fit into the concept of the russbus. Mari’s reaction to Sana being a part of the russbuss was very surprised and a little offputting, while Sara made a point of referring herself and her group as superior because they are “normal Norwegian party girls” a comment that fuelled Sana to truly make this russbuss work. And then of course there is Elias, who warned Sana that she shouldn’t be on a russbus because she is a muslim girl. Yousefs reaction here is interesting as he seems annoyed by Elias’s words and he sends Sana a message later on where he encourages her to go for the russbus. This could also be a hint, that Yousef still feels guilty about Even and doesn’t want Sana (or anyone) else to face the kind of exclusion that Even may have faced. We also had a thought that maybe the reason this season parallels evak so much is because Even is actually Sana’s mirror? Julie wants us to feel all of the Even emotions again because his story actually mirrors Sana’s so much, we just need to pay attention to the signs. Maybe.
In regards to the trailer: The trailer made us all assume that the series of events happens in an order, because it was in slow motion each piece of the puzzle fell one at a time. But in reality they all happened extremely fast all at once like a domino effect. So instead of waiting for each story to fall, we should be expecting them all to fall at once. The last episode proves this, by each clip being the start of a separate storyline. Yousana, Noorhell mystery + Vilde and Magnus, Evak and Bakka story, and then the russbuss. So many storylines are beginning at once because when they all begin to turn into chaos that will happen at once too, with Sana standing in the middle trying to fix the chaos she instigated. The trailer we feel like could also be an indication of Even as Sana’s mirror as the chaos starts with her and ends with Even, but when reversed (which is how it was released) it starts with Even and ends with Sana. Which essentially means that Sana is on one side of the chain with Even on the other….just like a mirror. And thus he is probably the actual beginning of all the drama and not Noora, even though that is who we all have our eyes on at the moment, as she is brewing to a boil before our eyes. But then again it is all going to fallout simultaneously anyway.
Mikael
I also wonder if Mikael’s part in this is maybe that he struggled to hold onto both worlds just like Sana may find difficult this season. Perhaps he wanted to connect deeper with people who share his faith while still being friends with Even? But when doing so he just ended up hurting Even and himself and maybe that will be his part in Sana’s story? Maybe Mikael will help her understand the balance she needs to have and the mistakes she could make.
Understood/misunderstood theme
As the theme misunderstood fits to pretty much everyone, this theme seems particularly fitting to not just Sana but also Even. We actually saw how much he was misunderstood back in S3 when he became manic. Its not unrealistic that he was misunderstood back at Bakka when he had an episode and those misunderstandings are coming back to him in this season probably at the same time as Sana is facing her challenges. We feel like the biggest theme here is that Sana continuously feels misunderstood, not just by people who don’t know her, but also by those who are meant to. And maybe the point is that we all want to be understood but how can anyone understand us if we don’t give them the chance and they aren’t willing to? Maybe the answer to find balance between two worlds is if one world can become keen to learn the other, while the other world reaches out and gives them the material to. Even was repeatedly misunderstood last season and possibly also at Bakka because he never gave anyone the chance to know him. To learn, he already had decided that no one could or would. And we think this mirrors exactly what Sana is doing here. We are all upset because the girls continue to say and do things that don’t exactly take her faith in consideration, but not once does Sana correct them. She never encourages them to know her and understand her, she has just assumed that it’s a lost course. So maybe this season will teach her and us that understanding is a two way street, and to find it you have to first let yourself to finally be open to becoming truly understood.
