Hlin: To me it’s always been a reminder of humility. Even as the founder of Sanctuary, I couldn’t have managed in the Storm, let alone find this place if it weren’t for those that taught me how to survive despite the disability. A ruler is nothing without their people. And without brilliant mechanics like Bethany, I would’ve never flown. She wasn’t the first, and she won’t be the last mechanic I’ll need to depend on.

It’d be nice if someone figured out how to keep it from aching when it gets humid.

Hlin: Most of you have come on your own initiative for Sanctuary’s first expedition. As I’m aware you know, up until now only falcons have been assigned to go this far. We’ve known about a forest on our boarders for some time, however could never fully approuch it since, as you all know, a pokemon must return to Sanctuary after an allotted time unless they wish to go feral.

Due to innovations in the raven faction, Professor Culliane believes that this adaptor will enhance the abilities of heatran, allowing it to protect pokemon nearby from the effects of the storm.

That being said, I will accompany you as per usual with any patrol going to our colony’s boarders. Should the heatran heater fail, I can protect you from the effects of the storm somewhat until we make it back to Sanctuary.

I would like to remind all pokemon here of the risks involved. We are going into uncharted territory. We do not know how many feral packs are there, or how hostile the landscape is. The area around the forest appears fairly flat with some hills, but it is unknown if this is constant through the whole wood. Scouts also reported the trees taking odd shapes. As such, the wood has been named Twisty Trunk Forest.

The journey will take about two weeks. We leave in a few hours. Make any last preparations you need. And again, this is your last chance to return to the city. I cannot promise your safe return.

I will be joining the falcons and scout ahead. Rayne, I trust you to protect the main group and our vital heatran Smog while Snake leads the rear. Tim, follow us.

>>The Magrave has begun the expedition to Twisty Trunk Forest! Here’s the rundown in brief:

The journey will take two weeks in-blog time, however will take 2-4 days (17th-20th). The duration at the location will roughly be 3-5 days, but can be extended if necessary.

Further details about the expedition will be given once the group reaches the destination.

This expedition is very free-roam. You can make posts about your muses fighting a feral, finding something, talking with fellow travelers, send asks, have fun! Pretty much do what you want as long as you’re heading off to the woods with the rest of the gang.

Non-pmdn blogs can participate and it will be considered canon, however they will be required to go back to their world after. Any out of expedition interactions will be deemed non-canon.

All factions are able to participate. From the pmdnevermore roster, the following mons are going: Magrave Hlin, Rayne, Tim, Snake, Myer “Swift”, and Hugo.

Sebastian: This needs to be tested as soon as possible. If we can establish an outpost further out, we can explore further on, establish more outposts, and so on and so forth. You and I both know it’s a tad cramped down here, and digging more and more tunnels is only going to do so much. If this works, we can set up permeant residence in these locations, each with it’s own heatran. And possibly, truly discover if this world is completely blanketed in the Everstorm or if there’s some place out there free from it’s influence.
