Hearing Ranboo discuss character development and what apologists are and writing is so incredibly interesting to me!

I’m a character developer and writer of my own creations and I tend to write them very very carefully because I want them to make sense. A lot of what Ranboo is explaining is stuff I found out myself through trial and error with my own. Even now I’m discovering different things I’m currently doing that I’m going back and changing in my writing! I very rarely ever write a villain character unless it makes sense (I’ve written a few in the past and they turned out so much better each time as I began to understand what makes a villain a villain).

Since I got into character developing and creation, I’ve researched a lot on what classified as a certain thing (villains aren’t anti-heroes, etc.) and it is so freaking cool how in depth a character can be when you look past the surface level! :D I could honestly talk about this all day, so I mean hmu ig if you wanna hear me talk about it XD

Edit: I’m also big into improv. Don’t have any previous acting because anytime I was in theatre, I did sound and rarely participated in games we did, but I still love it. It’s the main way I act and write. It’s rare a script something to a T. I may have a loose outline with a basic plot (point A to point B) but everything else in between is improv. Even then, the basic plot can change if I decide “oh I don’t like that, let me do something” and just improv my way into a new idea

leo was born in london to two very wealthy parents, richard and cynthia van doren. richard was something of an inattentive father (particularly when it came to leo) and from early on beginning to distance himself from the family, and while cynthia certainly loved leo, she’d always wanted a daughter, which she got two years later when his little sister victoria ( @toriivd​ ) was born. thus, it was from an extremely young age that leo began to feel like something of a black sheep in the family. richard was, unbeknownst to any of them, already having an affair with a woman in america whom he’d met on several business trips to arizona. all they knew was that he hardly seemed invested in their family anymore, let alone to take an interest in their lives. of course, victoria was a daddy’s girl, and though she often pretended not to see this happening leo knew perfectly well she was lying deliberately to herself. it was something he only pulled out when they fought bitterly, and they both knew it was a low blow when he did. 

this was especially apparent in high school, when leo’s acting out turned to drug use, skipping school, and even trouble with the police a few times. richard was almost never there either to lend fatherly support or to discipline--the only time he was, leo got the tongue-lashing of his life as well as a slap in the face, and if he had to pick a specific event which led him to the realization that he hated his father, it would be that one. 

even as things were looking rockier and rockier with their parents, leo was 12 when his mom got pregnant again. 13 when she had their baby brother, bradley. it was frankly a mess and for the first couple years leo was not at all good about helping. he resented the further attention drawn away from himself and hated his dad more than ever for his seemingly endless supply of bullshit

when he was 15, tori 13, and bradley 2, their parents finally got divorced. he and tori listened in on the final, blow-out fight from the stairs and learned that the reason their father had been taking so many business trips to the states all these years was in fact another woman, and even better, the two kids he had with her. tori had processed this in her own way, and leo had tried to be there for her, but his own self-destructive method of processing it made it difficult to do so. in other ways, however, the whole thing changed the nature of his relationship with his mother, which had always been a little distant. the fact of his father’s betrayal had the effect of inspiring within leo a fierce love and protectiveness over her, and in the rubble of their family the four of them found something much more intimate than they’d had before. 

he graduated high school in spite of all this but spent the following two years doing nothing productive; it was sex drugs rock n roll and rebellion, and through it all giving a huge metaphorical middle finger to his dad, who’d officially moved to arizona to pledge his allegiance to his chosen family. leo and tori eventually came to the morally questionable agreement to tell people that their father had died in a car accident rather than explain the truth, and for leo, it was as much an act of spitting on his father’s memory as it was a tactic to avoid talking about it. 

it was when tori finally graduated high school that they formulated the plan to go to university in arizona, and while they were there to try and find their father. not because leo missed him, of course--it was closure he was after, and only seeing him and his other family would allow him to find it.

a year ago now, leo went back home to england for a month and a half to check himself into rehab, but the only person he told was his mom. it was for an opioid addiction that had gotten out of hand and he did indeed manage to get clean. he’s even managed to stay clean when it comes to the opioids, but he’s started doing coke now and then and dabbling in pills. mostly though it’s just a lot a lot of weed all the time. 

he’s in his senior year of his bfa and has almost no prospects, although that’s mostly due to his screwing them all up by being high and careless about it. a part of him despises the whole idea of school and the work force and having a career and is lowkey self destructing bc he can’t handle the idea of growing up and having to act like an adult

so for the most part, leo is super super chill, doesn’t take anything very seriously, is cracking jokes 24/7 (his sense of humor is so so so dry), almost always high, and if no one stops him will start rambling on about literally anything in his pretentious know it all way that he genuinely doesn’t realize is so wildly pretentious

he’s a fine arts major with a focus in illustration but he also does a lot of sculpting. so he doodles a lot, probably on things he shouldn’t doodle on, and he makes money on the sculptures here and there (which he’s telling himself he can sustain for his entire life lmao)

pansexual, tends to sleep around but genuinely likes being in a relationship. he falls in love rly easily and has little crushes on random people all the time and is prone to infatuations with people who don’t feel the same way. most relationships he’s had have failed bc of his drug problem interfering and/or becoming too much for his partner at the time to deal with

for everything he’s been thru, leo actually has quite an optimistic view of the world and people in general and he just really likes human interaction and being around people. he can come off as wildly eccentric and difficult to keep up with and sometimes makes it seem like he thinks he’s better than everyone and doesn’t give a fuck what anyone thinks but on the highest of keys he cares so much what everyone thinks and will probably admit that out loud tbh ftyegudhsujka

cares about his mom, sister, and little brother more than anything in the world and feels guilty as HELL about not being there while his brother is growing up

connection to natalia linderman //  natalia was the good girl, and that was certainly part of leo’s motivation to corrupt her—there was something thrilling about being able to effect such change in someone held in such high esteem on campus—but that wasn’t all of it. some part of him had developed feelings, too, and it killed him that she never saw him that way. the drugs and the class-skipping to smoke weed made him feel close to her, even when she was talking about other people. he eventually began to feel guilty for what he saw as poisoning her with his way of life, and he’d been working up the nerve to tell her this until she went missing. he now lives with the fear that whatever she got mixed up in that resulted in her death could be blamed on the drugs, and more specifically, him.

It doesn’t matter if I like you the mun or your character otherwise or if we’ve had threads before either: you’re going to be blocked for it. I’m being harsher about the themes I’m comfortable with on the dash because too often I’ve seen uncomfortable stuff from people I otherwise liked, and it’s made me feel in two minds about my reaction to them even though it shouldn’t be that way. I know people like to spread the whole ‘don’t judge people for fiction’ message but my dash is my dash and I shouldn’t have to put up with stuff on it that I don’t wanna see.

My portrayal of Lyra

I want to put it out there that I am mostly book-based. I have watched the film and the tv series, and particularly enjoyed the show, to the point it was what got me to read the books in the first place, but both of those things are merely adaptations of the story. I want my Lyra to be my own adaptation of her, so generally my source material will be the book itself.

That said, I am not opposed to show-based threads and I don’t think there’s anything that the show has done with Lyra that I will point blank refuse to acknowledge for my take on her. If that changes at any point, then I will let you guys know!

I have not yet read any of the other books in the universe besides the main trilogy. I do plan to change this however and will update you guys as and when I read the others. And if there’s anything that I want to diverge from in my own canon, I’ll mention that as and when too!

My main faceclaim for Lyra is D.akota F.anning, with E.mily B.lunt being her faceclaim as a 30+ year old. D.afne K.een who plays Lyra in the show is my alternate face claim, but that’s mostly for gifsets. I do have icons of her available to me, but it probably won’t be very often that I use them unless I feel she fits more.

Shipping...honestly probably will not happen besides with a Will, and if not with a Will, then probably not before Lyra is an adult. She essentially messed up her relationship with herself in The Amber Spyglass, which means a romantic relationship...probably isn’t ideal for her until she fixes that. In my canon for older Lyra, she does start to fix this but she’s almost 25 when the repairing begins, so she probably isn’t really going to be after a romance again before that point.

I do plan to make alternate verses for Lyra in other fandoms and such, to make interactions that little bit easier for muns of non-H.DM characters! That said, if I have a verse for the fandom your character is from but you would still prefer to interact within the H.DM universe, feel free to let me know <3

hello everyone! my name’s aliera, i already met some of you in the discord, but yeah!!! i’m v shy and i’m probably gonna ramble a lot during this intro so let’s goooo and meet my very outgoing (and lil depressed) boyo

so!!! liam is a bit of mess and that’s because he always thinks with his gut and not his brain!!!

literally everything in his life, he did without thinking about hte consequences, just wanting to be happy, live life in the moment and to it’s fullest extent!!

as a young man, he lived by the motto “here for a good time, not a long time” and did so much reckless shit. including lots of drugs, drinking, just bad decisions in general. 

when he entered college, not a lot of that changed, but he did meet one girl who was able to keep his head on his shoulders: meredith. a gorgerous, smart girl who was rough enough to keep him interested. they weren’t the perfect match, but they were passoinate, and that was enough for him.

it wasn’t before long they started dating that he proposed, a boy young and in love with a firey girl who loved him back. and the love lasted for a while! they traveled together, made love, had a beautiful daughter. but, things didn’t stay peachy forever.

meredith was a very strict person, and parent. as they’re daughter grew up, she was not only strict with her but with him. he didn’t feel as free as when they first together, and felt even less loved. she just thought of him as immature, unreliable. the love faded slowly and painfully, without any real discussion but they both knew...

and so it was difficult for him at home! he tried his best, for annie bc he loves her, but he spent a lot of time in his hobbies, focusing on work, focusing on anything besides his crumbling marriage, or how he and meredith only spoke if they were fighting. and this is when he met whitley. a young man, a bright one who made him happy. after years in his dead-end marriage, he found someone who made him feel free again. liam had never intended to cheat on his wife, but once he started he had no intention of stopping

and so, they had an affair for a year. and his wife slowly figured it out, eventually catching them in the act. it was devestating.

that night, he was kicked out and within the month had moved to halston, renting a small house for himself. 

ever since being kicked out, liam has been heavily depressed, and to top it off, a new coworker of his has figured out about his affair with a young man, and is blackmailing him about it. he can’t see his kid, his old lover doesn’t talk with him much anymore, and he’s just lonely!!! life sucks, but he’s pushing through, trying to reestablish himself here

anyway that’s basically it!!! if you wanna plot, pls hmu

some quick verse + tlj thoughts related info  * *  very uhHHH likely to change as i go / as i remember things more clearly if / when i subject myself to tlj again

i.  recovery   //    in the empire strikes back novelisation luke was in his bacta tank for 12 hours and then slept for another 16 hours for fatal hypothermia.  assuming bacta technology has advanced and become more sophisticated,  particularly because it’s now been synthesised into a suit,  i’d estimate finn’s recovery to have been in the 30-36 hour mark.  (   also, he’s force-sensitive but that’s A Whole Other Topic  !  )   

if we assume:  day 1 post-tfa:  rey staying long enough to get her hot new Grey Jedi Look together  +  organise the gps bracelet plan with leia.  the resistance receiving alerts that the first order fleet is approaching and beginning evacuation plans.  day 2 post-tfa:  finn wakes up,  half a day earlier than he did in tlj,  just in time to offer information on the weak points of the star destroyers and the dreadnought, including helping devise the plan to eliminate the dreadnought’s surface cannons and clear the way for the resistance bombers. 

ii.  allegiance   //   FINN OWES !! THE RESISTANCE !! NOTHING !!!!!!  HE DOESN’T OWE ANYBODY SHIT !!!!!!!  this boy has risked his life and livelihood time and again from the moment he chose not to kill for the first order for complete strangers,  for a movement he had no prior connections with.  even if leaving and becoming a  ‘’’’’’’ traitor ‘’’’’’ to the resistance had been right for his character and a valid development in his character arc,  he does not deserve to be called a deserter for wanting nothing to do with the first order ever again.  like........... does anybody fucking realise that alongside the very possible defeat of the resistance, finn being captured by the first order again probably means he wouldn’t be killed, but  reconditioned  ???????  the first order has had deserters, too !!   they also get tasered !  in the Head, specifically their Brain, where they’re basically restored to factory settings.  not to mention the sheer amount of bravery and courage and heroism it takes for him to turn around and face the organization that destroyed his childhood, enslaved him, and has systematically abused him every day of his life.

with all of that said,,,,,  it makes 0 sense for finn to decide, in the middle of the resistance evacuation, to suddenly up and leave with a shitty ass excuse about needing to be far away for when rey comes back.  like ??????  rey's path is already so deeply and inexorably tied to the rube goldberg machine that is the jedi, the resistance, and the skywalkers,  and finn knows this.  even if he wasn’t fundamentally a person with a moral compass that couldn’t be broken even by two decades of indoctrination into a fascist space nazi regime,  finn does The Things He Does because they’re the right thing to do.  his character arc is not and has never been defined by rey.  i don’t know what dinosaur sloth titty juice rian johnson’s been drinking but repeating parts of finn’s earlier character development to the point of regression is not !!! good !!!! writing !!!!!!!

given that he’s spent 36ish hours in a recovery coma,  finn hasn’t had so much as a Second to process,  or decide,  where he stands in the resistance.  like rey,  he too is looking for someone to show him his place in all this.  unlike rey,  he has no mentor figure, no introspective screentime alone,  no inner dialogue or space to explore who he is now in the post-first order part of his life.  but,  for the time being and given the time-sensitivity of the resistance evacuation,  he is absolutely on the side of the rebels.  these are the people who saved him and protected him,  who gave him the jacket off their backs and something to fight for.  not only does deserting make 0 logical or tactical sense in the middle of an evacuation,  it’s just outright selfish ??  and self-serving ???  none of which finn is, thank you @ryan johnson.

iii.  rebellion   //   so there’s been a lot of differing opinions on finn and rose’s storyline and after agonizing a lot of this i’ve come to the almost final decision that it’s Not As Bad as ppl want it to be.  like a lot of mischaracterisation fuck-ups in tlj,  it mainly comes down to  how this storyline was treated in the grand scheme of tlj and how significant it was to the overarching plot.  canto bight only seems irrelevant because ryan johnson is a terrible fucking writer who thrives off sidelining his characters of color.  thematically, it served it as a damning critique of the powerful ruling class and political economic elites that are actively profitting from the injustice and oppression of war.  rose showing those kids the resistance emblem in her ring is one of the most iconic moments in the film;  inspiring a whole generation of children to rise up against their oppressors is  everything the resistance symbolizes and fights for.  

throwing in an unnecessary oc spitting some half-assed  ‘ everything isn’t always good or bad, sometimes there’s just grey areas ’  message in a parallel of the jedi story and ultimately having the undercover mission serve No Purpose Whatsoever was a shitty move.  in keeping with the fandom interpretation that tlj is a story about failure,  this would’ve been okay  only  if  the detour onto the star destroyer hadn’t been for absolutely nothing.  because there Needed to be fucking somETHINg,  instead of just benicio del toro rihanna.gif winking with the parting words that  ‘ hey sometimes people are just assholes ’.  star wars isn’t a story... about... people being fundamentally shitty..... it’s a story about good vs. bad and the enduring struggle for Balance between them;  People Are Both.  it doesn’t matter what you are but what you  do  and the choice you have to do good or bad.  to counteract the shittiness of dj fucking off,  leaving two poc to be forced onto their knees by a white fascist villain,  and a black character to be slapped upside the face by said white fascist villain we needed Something.  WHERE WAS OUR STORMTROOPER UPRISING, hMMMmm MMm MMMM mMM MM ????????????

bb-8 showing up as deus ex sight gag was funny for 2.5 seconds but now i'm just.... like crait.... a whole Salt Planet.  we could have had, it All ?  i don’t even specifically know where this part of my tlj-divergent verse goes because it actually requires other non-canon characters to exist but.... hey if any ex-stormtrooper oc’s wanna hmu.... u kno where i’m at.  basically,  i picture a handful of stormtroopers defecting,  escaping with rose and finn,  becoming part of  the rebellion that is reborn. 

iv.  battle of crait   //   this... fuc king scene..... god.  let’s just get the wampa out of the way.  rose’s  ‘ that’s how we’re gonna win.  not fighting what we hate, saving what we love ’  was totally narratively undeserved.  this is not a criticism of the character but of ryan, again, the man who was paid millions of dollars to write this garbage.  in under 18 hours,,,, rose has decided that she has gotten over her lifelong hatred for the first order,  her very recent and fresh grief over losing her sister who died Fighting The First Order,  and oH,  she LOVES FINN ?  WHAT.  cool.  coolcoolcool.

in my canon, i’m going to go with the idea that rose did not kiss finn.  but they have a fantastic dynamic,  and rose crashing into him, saving him and saying something similar to what she said but more along the lines of not wanting to lose another person she cares about to the first order would have been much... better....  i view this ship as primarily platonic, at least far as tlj goes.  finnrey and finnpoe barely had any screentime / development so ryan johnson is flat-out playing no-homo games if he thinks he’s going to sail a ship based on 18 hours of knowing each other.  but i’m totally open to seeing where it goes with proper development, etc. in rp,  so if there are any rose’s that would like to plot with me and discuss finnrose stuff please !!!  i’m begging you !!!!

Daniel leaves that entire thing SUPER vague and while Violets conception coincides w/ the time that Beatrice and Lemony broke things off, it is also still entirely possible that she is Bertrand’s. UNKNOWN TIME B4 VIOLET’S BIRTH: The Baudelaire parents, with the help of Kit Snicket, murder Count Olaf’s parents in a plot to get his money.

In Snicket’s prequel series to ASOUE (ATWQ) it seems that Lemony, Beatrice, and several other young VFD members are very intent on changing the nature of the VFD. One can assume that to do this, they need a fair amount of money that is their own ( here meaning, out of the VFD’s reach ) , and did so by killing Olaf’s parents who we can assume, are well off. Honestly Imma just link you guys to this snicket sleuth article bc it explains it better and in full detail and I’m lazy.  

SEPTEMBER 1960: Violet Baudelaire is born almost immediately after Beatrice and Bertrand are banned from the island. She is conceived nine months prior, INCREDIBLY close to around the time Lem and Beatrice broke it off and emotions where high if you get what im implying if not ur too young chip go home

Violets childhood is very vague. She doesn’t remember much before Klaus was born and it seems there’s still more she doesn’t remember after that. What she does remember is a nursery rhyme. She recalls it as Row Row Row Your Boat. However she also recalls her parents singing something with “The World Is Quiet Here” in it. She also claims that the name “snicket” is familiar to her in The Penultimate Peril.  After closely reading Lemony Snicket’s Unauthorized Biography we find that she is actually recalling the same song, as the sheet music that Lemony provides to his editor is written to the melody of “row row row..” [ SNICKETSLEUTH, 2 ]

SO. Let’s talk about the VFD’s whole mentor/pupil thing they got going on. It’s canon that they take talented children from a very young age and recruit them into the cult organization. We know this from Snicket’s “autobiography” where he provides pictures of him as a toddler and claims that shortly after that picture he was taken by his ankles from the kitchen (just as his siblings were) and recruited.

Now, with a schism in the midsts it’s fair to assume that both sides would be recruiting members as heavily as possible. They are essentially at war with one another at this point and need as many “soldiers” as they can get.

1964

Enter Violet Baudelaire, age 4, who exhibits extreme skill in inventing from a very young age. Enter Violet Baudelaire who the VFD suspect might be Violet SNICKET which would be insanely important to them as the snicket’s have made some of the best VFD members yet and would put high value on keeping that bloodline in the organization 

With the schism, the broken memories, and the cloudy memories of VFD references ( which again, were not made to Sunny and Klaus, and seemingly stopped after Klaus’ birth – along with the parents adamancy in keeping the VFD a secret from the kids ). I’m going to make the assumption that at some point, when Violet was just a toddler, the VFD tried to take her. 

Cue traumatic event, cue Violet forgetting shit, 

cue the Baudelaire parents realizing that they don’t want their children to have anything to do with this organization. After all, they did consider having Violet on the island to shield her from the worlds treachery, and only left because they were kicked off.

So why would the Baudelaire’s continue to have children? Well my theory is fairly simple. Beatrice was most likely already pregnant with Klaus at the time, and Sunny was an accident (sorry sunny, u were a happy accident i promise Violet loves u).

BACK TO THE KIDNAPPING. So now not only do the Baudelaire parents want to keep any knowledge of the VFD from their children, they also start concocting a plan (with the help of who I can only presume is the Quagmires), to get a blank slate – to start over somewhere far away from the VFD’s grasp. And how exactly do they do this?

With Olaf’s fortune that was split between themselves and the Snickets.

1974

The plans are finally ready to come to fruition, the Baudelaire parents are ready to flee. However, upon finding that their friend and partner in crime Kit Snicket is pregnant, they offer to include her in the plan, assuming she would want her child to stay away from the VFD in the same manner they do. However, Kit being an EXTREMELY loyal VFD member, betrays them to the organization. (perhaps this is why the children are sent to the beach ?? So B&B can meet with Kit, whom they were also keeping a secret from the children.)

the VFD ( probably possibly even Kit herself tbh ), in response to this, burns down the baudelaire mansion. Killing Bertrand, and later Beatrice at the Masquerade. Knowing full well they can blame these fires on the fire-starting side of the organization, namely Olaf.

NOTE: I will, of course, discuss this headcanon with any Kit’s I interact with, and leave it up to them if they wish to include it in their portrayal or not. If they don’t I will disregard it as it could have been anybody – ( maybe even the Quagmires in hopes of securing their children’s safety ?? ) who betrayed them.

post note: I realize that these theories will undoubtedly have holes in them, but this is what makes the most sense to me and my portrayal of Violet. he comes from a BIG family. he’s got like four older sisters and two moms and so many pets throughout the years. his fam was well off, not like Big Money, but enough to support each of his siblings and himself just fine. so life was good Luca Jones. ( name may vary if someone else already has it i didn’t check dfjf )

BUT !!! in a Twist of events, one day when he was younger he was snooping around his moms office and found a box of letters ?? to a baby boy ?? from someone who only signed as m. hani ? and he was So Confused and lil upset because He was the only baby boy of the house and he stg if there was a secret brother hidden from him he was gonna Riot !!! so he asked his mom what they were and found out he was adopted ( which shouldn’t of been a surprise since he has two moms but ANYWYAS ) & his birth mom had been writing letters for him every year for him to open whenever his Other parents decided to tell him. 

lowkey ? he was pissed. mostly because he was like 9 and that’s a lot to take in for a kid but also because he felt unwanted. even though his moms were legit the fucking best it left him really confused and a lil hurt for a long time. 

the older he got the more okay he was with it but the urge to meet her grew stronger, so after discussing it with his parents & them said they were fine w/ him changing his surname back to hani once he moved out, he’s been trying to find her. but hasn’t found Squat atm since there was never a return address and all the letters stopped coming in after he was 16.

if any of the doppelgangers end up having his mom he’ll probably clam up and come up with excuses to avoid meeting her. also since he was Adopted none of the older siblings are like . ~canon~ So !! if he has any biological siblings he wouldn’t Know

i can’t find it, but there’s this one picture from a book and it’s like .. “bonjour, y’all.” that’s luca. needs a god damn muzzle he’s so LOUD. he never shuts up ?? he’s always rough housing and hugging people and jumping around and breaking shit and for once in his life needs to just settle the down. will act very chummy w/ you like you two go Waaay back even tho you’re just the check out clerk at subway. honestly the kid has no secrets and will just word vomit his life story onto you if you have the patience to listen.

he’s always been that goofy kid who the teachers hated in school because he was always crackin jokes and yelling out obnoxious answer just to get a few giggles. he probably spent more time in detention than he did in class tbfh

luca has always been one to feel very deeply and is not shy to let you know what’s going on. tho he’s a bit dramatic at times but that’s a Given. He falls for people every second and could see himself with literally Anyone. his sexuality is all over the place all he knows is he likes people and he’s is totally Chill w/ sleeping w/ anyone. ( though he has a habit of getting attached real Quick )

nowadays he’s living in an apartment and going to uni for Social work which is his Second time switching majors so who knows how long this will last. he’s been spending most of his time getting wasted and doing dumb shit instead of focusing on his studies so he’ll probably end up dropping out because this life ain’t for Him. 

his moms are more than willing to help him out financially, but since he was the youngest, he wants them to just enjoy their lives Stress free not worrying abt their kids. so he’s basically broke atm. currently works part time at a chinese food place. but with his track recond who knows how long that will last

he is a drummer :~) because all of that pent up energy has to go Somewhere. he breaks his drum kit a lot because he’s a grade A Dumbass. Hc that one time when he was like 13 his school had a talent show going on and he fucking just   kicked a hole in his drum at the end of it in the name of Rock n Roll. also plays other instruments but they’re not his Passion. he’s really into garage punk because just yelling and being loud is Relatable. that & Skater/surfer music or just really anything Upbeat and boppin

believes the government is out to Get you and is an alien enthusiast. don’t .. ask him about this tho please he fucking never shuts up about it and it’s becoming a problem. the bottom of his board has ‘ufo response team’ on it, which is meant for a  car but he doesn’t have a license ( for GOOD reason )
