Been obsessed with the Instagram account klgh_nocontext lately which just posts no context scenes from the fourth hour of the Today Show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb. They just let these women drink wine on national TV and do whatever they want. They listen to Hoda’s playlist, they wear fursuits, they beat paid advertisers if they don’t like the product, Kathie Lee Griffin admitted to having a full bush.
I wish this account had the same power on Tumblr

I love this delightful goofball 😍🥰😂
[transcript:
Kathy Lee: Welcome! You are a delight!
Hoda: yes you are!
KL: you’re a bit of an enigma
Michael Sheen: am I?
KL: cause you play a lot of very very heavy roles, you know, but in person you’re like this delightful goofball
MS: (laughing) yes, that’s right, I am. It’s called acting.
(All three laugh)
KL: you do it well!
H: yes you do!]

I love Hoda Kotb, but I don't know if she has what it takes. I actually would love to see Meghan Trainor get a chance!

Darren Criss talks new Broadway show ‘Maybe Happy Ending
Darren Criss joins Hoda and Jenna to talk about his new Broadway show “Maybe Happy Ending.” He opens up about working on a show that is completely original and doesn’t draw inspiration from other pieces of work. He also plays a fun game of “Hoda and Jenna’s Pop Culture Sing-Along,” where he improvises songs based on current pop culture items!

Minyvonne Burke at NBC News:
Craig Melvin will replace Hoda Kotb after the beloved co-anchor announced in September that she was leaving “TODAY” after nearly two decades. Melvin, a news anchor of “TODAY” and a co-host of the 3rd hour of “TODAY,” made the announcement on the show Thursday morning. He will co-anchor alongside Savannah Guthrie for the 7 and 8 a.m. hours beginning Jan. 13.
“I am beyond excited and grateful,” an emotional Melvin said. “I’ve enjoyed just a lifetime of blessings and this is the latest in a long line of blessings.” Kotb said he was “literally made for this job.” “You have all the things this job needs,” she said. “You are the right person for it.” Kotb will remain as co-anchor until Jan. 10, calling it a "party day." She said she made the decision to step down after she turned 60 in August. “I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60 and to try something new,” she told her fellow hosts in September as she fought back tears. Kotb has co-anchored the show with Savannah Guthrie since early 2018, becoming the first all-female anchor team. Guthrie told Kotb that while she is “irreplaceable in our hearts,” she was excited about Melvin’s new role and called him “talented, wonderful, hard-working, most-worthy.”
Craig Melvin named Hoda Kotb’s replacement on NBC’s Today.

Scott Stump at Today:
Hoda Kotb has announced that she is leaving TODAY early next year, but will remain part of the NBC family. She tearfully recounted on TODAY on Sept. 26 about how her 60th birthday celebration in August prompted a decision to make a change. "I realized that it was time for me to turn the page at 60, and to try something new," she said. "I remembered standing outside looking at these beautiful bunch of people with these gorgeous signs, and I thought, 'This is what the top of the wave feels like for me.' And I thought it can't get better, and I decided that this is the right time for me to kind of move on." Hoda's intention to spend more time with her daughters, Haley, 7, and Hope, 5, also factored into her decision. "Obviously I had my kiddos late in life, and I was thinking that they deserve a bigger piece of my time pie that I have," she said. "I feel like we only have a finite amount of time. "And so, with all that being said, this is the hardest thing in the world."
She said she will remain with TODAY through early next year, and is going to stay in the NBC family in an unspecified role.
"It's kind of a big deal for me," she said through tears. "I've been practicing so I wouldn't cry, but anyway, I did." Hoda has been part of the fabric at NBC News for nearly three decades, after previously working at “Dateline” and as the co-host of the fourth hour of TODAY with Kathie Lee Gifford and then Jenna Bush Hager. She and Savannah Guthrie have co-anchored TODAY for more than five years.
On NBC's Today this morning, 4th hour host Hoda Kotb announced that she is leaving the program early next year. Kotb will remain with NBC in a different role.
