Mun PSA
Current mood + BONUS
What does the above mean? First one is me waiting for my body to heal while the second clip is me trying to remain focused on recovery when all I wish to do is work on stuff here! I have missed my mutuals and rp threads-- T3T
I am one day shy of the beginning of Week 3 in terms of recovery ( recommended 4 to 6 *-flops-* ) and this week is going to be a busy one so I may have to have yet another week away from Tumblr which honestly sucks!
Tomorrow I have an appointment with my cancer specialist and nervous about that as the only way I can get there is by public transport ( 30 minutes by bus ) and I have only just started rebuilding my tolerance for sitting up in a chair. Tuesday is my birthday which may be a rest day in bed to recover from the appointment the day prior on top of being nervous for a appointment with a new team of doctors in regards to chemo/radio therapy on Thursday!
Long story short? I'm going to be physically and mentally drained this coming week and I'm not ready for it--
Once again. Thank you to everyone for your patience and understanding over the last few weeks! Be it liking or commenting on these posts or spending time with me over Discord or playing games you have no idea how much that has helped in my recovery ~ I also wanted to apologize to those who I didn't answer immediately, my social battery has been all over the place and I have been sleeping a lot - mostly due to being unable to get a proper deep sleep and have been waking up tired/exhausted!
Anyway. I will shut up now ~ I still have a few weeks to be fully recovered but as time has progressed things have slowly become easier for me. I hope everyone has been doing alright and if not I give you hugs in the hopes things get better for you soon ~ *-hugs everyone-*

This morning, how the hell did we have a legit Code Blue during shift change, got 15+ people in & out the room (including me, bringing the saline flushes and gloves), the monitor is still showing asystole (AKA flatline/heartbeat) for this poor old lady even after 3 rounds of chest compressions...
...And you're going to try to walk right on by with your backpack on and car keys in hand? You could only "try" because I know you doubled back and went out on the other side so people wouldn't see you walking out during a Code.
I don't...I get that I now work in a hospital and I'm Going To See Some Shit, but I don't...understand people right now.
I don't understand.
I drove home crying this morning.

im half sure that botbots season 2 is gonna Probably take a Slightly more serious , story driven direction , considering the existence of sector 7 & spud's exile and whatever , and yeah that'd be fuckin schweet
but i am ALSO equally rooting for there to be an episode where the botbots go full on Home Alone / Saw Trap mutiny against Sec-7 . i need a scene where they are just scattering marbles on the floor and blasting grown adults who could just grab them with their bare hands in the face with soda . gimme botbot war tactics or give me DEATH

Top 5 AI Technologies Enhancing Patient Care at Home
Tumblr media
More people are now choosing to receive medical care at home. It is safe, more comfortable, and often less expensive than hospital visits. As the demand for home healthcare grows, technology is stepping in to help.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is evolving as a major factor in improving patient care. AI, which incorporates aspects of smart technology and voice interfaces, aims at improving homecare for patients. This discussion revolves around the top 5 AI technologies impacting the home health care sector.
1. AI-Powered Remote Monitoring Tools
Remote monitoring devices measure and record people's information by maintaining a physical distance between the health professional and the patient. These devices can monitor the heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels, etc.
From a home health AI perspective, physicians receive real-time updates from patients about their status. So they can spot early signs of problems and act on them immediately. For example, if someone's oxygen level drops, the system will alert a caregiver right away.
This technology keeps patients safer and reduces hospital visits. Besides, the family can rest easy because they know someone is watching their loved one's health.
2. Virtual Health Assistants & Chatbots
AI virtual assistants are intelligent tools that assist a patient in managing their care. Such assistants may remind a patient of medicine, give a doctor appointment schedule, and respond to very general health-related information.
AI home health chatbots are operational 24/7 and interact with patients in a simple, easily understandable language. These tools are very useful for the elderly and people living alone. They contribute to the reduction of stress and loneliness by providing pleasant, helpful communication. The caregivers also can use the information provided by these assistants to better understand their patient's needs.
3. Predictive Analytics in Healthcare
AI finds patterns in health-related data, studying the history of a patient and warning doctors on probable issues. This is called predictive analytics
With AI for home health care, healthcare providers can make smarter decisions. For example, AI can predict if a patient might develop a certain illness and recommend steps to prevent it.
This helps patients stay healthier and avoid emergency situations. It also saves money by preventing hospital stays and expensive treatments.
4. Smart Wearable Devices
Smartwatches and fitness bands are not just for exercise anymore. These wearable devices can now track your sleep, movement, heart rate, and more. Some can even detect when a person falls and send an alert for help.
Thanks to coding for home health, these devices are getting better every year. They learn about your habits and give more accurate reports over time.
These tools make patients feel safer and allow doctors to monitor them easily from afar. They also motivate people to stay active and healthy by showing progress daily.
5. Voice-Controlled Smart Home Systems
Voice assistants like Alexa or Google Assistant are now used in home healthcare. Patients can use voice commands to control lights, fans, alarms, or even call for help.
By coding home health services, these devices are now being connected with health apps. They can give medicine reminders or notify a family member if something seems wrong.
This is very helpful for elderly or disabled people who may have trouble using buttons or screens. It also reduces the need for full-time caregivers while still keeping patients safe and supported.
Conclusion
Artificial intelligence is changing the way we take care of patients at home. These smart tools are making healthcare easier, faster, and more personal.
From remote monitoring to voice assistants, AI is helping families care for loved ones without stress. It’s also helping doctors make better decisions. As more homes use AI tools, patient care will continue to improve.
The future of home healthcare is smarter, safer, and more connected — all thanks to AI.

Here are some important objective-type questions about Anatomy & Physiology that has been encountered on the HESI test, which is often used for nursing school admissions or assessments.
What is the correct site for insulin injection? A. Deltoid muscle B. Gluteal muscle C. Abdomen D. Neck (Answer: C)
The abdomen is the preferred site for insulin injections.
Why the Abdomen?
Provides the fastest and most consistent absorption of insulin.
Easy to access and less affected by movement compared to other sites.
Allows for proper rotation of injection sites to prevent lipodystrophy (fat tissue damage).
Other Options:
Deltoid muscle (A): Used for intramuscular (IM) injections, not subcutaneous insulin.
Gluteal muscle (B): Less common for insulin due to slower absorption.
Neck (D): Not a safe or recommended site for any injections.
Other recommended subcutaneous injection sites for insulin include the thighs, upper arms, and buttocks, but the abdomen remains the best choice for quick and effective insulin absorption.
Which of the following is the best position for a patient in respiratory distress? A. Supine B. Prone C. Semi-Fowler’s D. Trendelenburg (Answer: C)
The best position for a patient in respiratory distress is C. Semi-Fowler’s.
This position involves the patient being reclined at a 30 to 45-degree angle, which helps to improve breathing by reducing the pressure on the diaphragm and allowing for better lung expansion. It is commonly used in respiratory distress, as it supports easier breathing compared to the other positions listed.
