Ok, this house is weird. Firstly, I was wondering what was up w/the garage door.

Turns out it's a mirror. Built in 1955 in Palm Springs, CA, it's been remodeled and you must see the choices. 3bds, 3ba, 2,319 sq ft, $1,499,999.

Check out the floor, like a mass murder scene.

It's such a huge space to fill. The sun is casting shadows, but it looks like there are steps here.

The bedrooms and baths have floors that look watercolor stained. Interesting how they put the bed partly under the arch.

The ensuite is big, but so sparse and spread out. I would've expected a sink under the neon mirror. This is so ugly.

The secondary bedroom is plain and has floating nightstands installed.

The primary bedroom has folding doors to the patio.

Out by the pool, it looks like they repainted the statues pink and black, themselves. The lamp is broken.

My friends who own the building I live in wanted to put in new lighting into the stairs leading down into the backyard, but since they're artsy goths they decided they wanted to make an art installation of it. Anyway, there is an upside down skeleton's sitting room there now and it's rad as fuck

The bedroom itself features a four-poster bed with soft, warm bedding, a matching nightstand, a cozy bench, and a nice wood dresser, all in warm tones that complement the en-suite perfectly.

I made a separated sheer canopy, which can be placed under the bed frame to create a light and airy feel. This lets you customize the space even more, giving you the option to keep it open or add a dreamy, elegant touch.

Small details like a pampas-filled vase, soft lighting, and framed artwork help tie everything together, making it easy to create a relaxing and inviting atmosphere.

So. This might vex some folks. But I just couldn’t do the blue in the library anymore. It was nice at night, but during the day it was too dark for a space with so little natural light. So over the past few days I added crown molding and completely repainted/wallpapered. The couch/rug moved to the living room upstairs. And with the money I made from selling the couch and rug formerly in the living room I have a tidy Library Furnishing Budget that I shall use over the next few weeks to find light, bright rugs/furniture. So. Stay tuned for that. My first goodwill trip is tomorrow.

And don’t worry! The starry night ceiling is still in full effect.

I am angry and appalled at the renovation of this 1930 Colonial revival in Douglaston, NY. And, they redid the exterior leaving it original, so you think that you'll be walking into a refurbished colonial home. Absolutely diabolical! 5bds, 5ba, 3,019 sqft, $2.999m. They want $3m b/c it's a designer house, now. Look at this.

Gutted, completely gutted. Why did they even leave the Colonial revival exterior and the bump-outs w/window seats?

The fireplace is dramatic, but not for this house. If people want a modern house, wouldn't they want the exterior to look that way, too?

I wonder if that's the original ceiling.

This was originally the sun porch, but it's all open concept now, and still has the colonial style windows.
