Thankfully, they didn't say no! Melba was summoned for an interview almost straight away down at Doo Peas Corporate Towers! The place looked a lot fancier than Melba was expecting, but she didn't let nerves get the best of her. She put her best foot forward and was able to snag an entry-level position within the company! Things were starting to shape up nicely here in Sunset Valley.

It had been a hectic few days since Melba first arrived in Sunset Valley, but the bulk of the work on her home had been completed. She didn't have much money, but she did what she could for the time being. It was definitely a work in progress, but Rome wasn't built in a day as a wise sim once said.

Next on the agenda was getting a job. She went down to the local library and worked on updating her old resume. She hadn't had a lot of work experience, but her food blog had garnered a modest following so she felt that had to count for something. Melba decided to copy her resume and a link to her blog into an email to the local journalism hub in town. The worst they could say was no, right?

Melba Honeychurch is new to Sunset Valley, and she is a keen foodie looking to make a name for herself in the world of journalism! She currently runs a small food blog, which has in fairness been growing steadily for the past couple of years, but would love to expand her reach. Her ultimate goal is to be able to travel the world in search of new recipes and underrated restaurants, one day hoping to be able to compile these experiences into the ultimate travel guide for food lovers everywhere!
