I was thinking about what Pokémon would suit which frame, and I mean,

Yareli and Primarina + Mantine

Primarina's design is perfect for Yareli, they're both water-themed magical girls, and with Mantine joining in as a known fan of surfing, which is as close as it gets to k-driving in the Pokémon world.

Jade and Mega Gardevoir

They look like siblings separated into different universes: they have the same colours, the same silhouette... I want them to meet,, maybe put together a coordinator contest or a duet.

Volt and Zeraora

They're both high speed electric fellas, I can see them doing parkour together with Volt boosting them and Zeraora's lightning sparking all around them. And besides, considering Zeraora collects electricity, I imagine it could charge up from Volt's electricity and use that to zap whoever comes in their way.

Garuda and Weavile

Vicious and clawed, they're both ready for a good mauling any time. You cannot tell me a Pokémon version of Garuda would not learn every and all moves that imply usage of claws.

Oberon and Sawsbuck

Hoof buddies! They both have a serene feel to me, but then again, deer are known for being silly and getting spooked easily, so I just want to imagine these two traveling in the woods and jumping at shadows, giving people of Cetus the silliest trail cam footage.

So I know that most of fandom is like, "omg Bitter Gavv=Shouma clone," but also the Chocold Gochizo is looming via toy releases. And Suga not only had a strand of Shouma's hair, but also a bandage with Hanto's blood to work from. I suspect that Chocold is going to also be an evil clone.

did ford dislike the appearance of bill’s true form when he brought him to earth? or was it just later, because he associated his crimes more with that form than his human form?

Definitely the latter. He never disliked Bill's appearance as a triangle, finding him cute. Before he pulled him down to live in the human body he designed for him that appreciation was probably almost patronising endearment, thinking this small glowing triangle was a novel little creature, more drawn to Bill's mind and the enlightenment he provided. Once he got to know Bill in the human body he fell more deeply in love with him there, and that's where the sexual attraction began because he could convince himself it was more normal to be attracted to a human than a shape. When he discovered Bill's betrayal and banished his human body he started associating everything evil with Bill as a shape so he could keep the memories of their good times pristine in his mind, like there was a good Bill (human) and an evil Bill (triangle) but as their relationship continued after the betrayal it became harder to separate the concepts. He couldn't split them anymore since it's all Bill, good and bad and you'll see that by the time he starts becoming intimate with him again as a triangle he's in this murky mindset of believing Bill is wholeheartedly bad but being attracted to him anyway. By the time they're getting it on freaky style in the mindscape again, the attraction in Ford's mind is indistinguishable whether Bill is a shape or not because of that personality bleed through, since Ford is attracted most to Bill's mind, a true demisexual connection (maybe even sapiosexual since Ford would be that pretentious).

So yeah, tldr he always liked Bill's appearance, and even though he associates Bill's triangle form with his evil actions more, it still didn't stop him from banging Bill both as a human and as a shape.

Thoughts about Xander Matthews?

And thus we get to @alizachan's husbando. Well one of them but let's face it everyone and their mother simps for Hajime Hinata.

I mentioned before in Min's ask that I consider Xander to be the important death, and he is because he was the classic trope of "First character protagonist meet and susquently befriends ends up stabbing them in the back." Well in Xander's case he stabbed Teruko in the front but that's being techinical.

I find the title of Ultimate Rebel to be such a fasinating paradox because on one hand Xander is clearly a guy who is very passoniate about what he believes in and isn't afraid to go up against injustice. At the same tiime though, the fact he's an Ultimate means he cannot challenge the status quo too much, so like Bubbles I believe Xander is allowed to go after the idiots who make their misdeeds too obvious and bring down the real villains with them and smoke them out. Its the classic way to curbing resistance, playing the resistance.

Its also interesting that Xander clearly cares about Teruko yet when he's given "proof" that Teruko needs to die, he doesn't hesistate to do so. I've seen people suggest that David is the one who gave Xander the note as Xander clearly worships David and wouldn't question anything he says, but since David at the time also probably didn't know about Teruko's true nature, I think Xander was the first shot at trying to get Teruko killed, but when that failed, the target was switched to David.

One thing to note is that Xander's eyepatch is very recent as he's still bleeding from his eye. We don't know how it happened but I suspect it has something to do with the prologue where a unknown person was attacked by someone, assumed to be Teruko. Obviously the blood was used to his advantage as he could exploit that to frame Charles for his crime of killing Teruko and since Charles would be in a state of shock he wouldn't be able to defend himself.

Now despite a obvious David simp trying to say otherwise, I don't believe David cared for Xander and at best he saw him as an useful idiot. And I think if Xander was around to see David's true nature, he would be horrified. One thing those two do have in connection though is their eye colour as they start out yellow but then when shit gets serious they dullen. I find that to be a interesting tie between the two.

The bonus video of Xander explains why he hates the rich so much, and obvious example of the Despair Time world being very fucked up, and it also implies he has survivor's guilt as he was the only one who lived while his family died. This could explain why he would be willing to go along with killing Teruko because if Xander gets killed, he can be reunited with his family.

Xander is a cool guy and I'm glad unlike some other Chapter 1 deaths, his demise wasn't forgotten about as he was still a heavy presense in Chapter 2 and I suspect it will still be the case going forward.

It's even more potent when you think about how frogs also go through their own metamorphosis as well, and the way their relationship (and each other) (and also the physical change) is also evolving and changing over time as well. And how Ash and Greninja go back to their roots in saving others and blindly believing in each other and falling down a tall, tall, place alone at night and the way it also parallels the Prism Tower incident but it is completely under their control now, and how the common saying is 'the sky is the limit' but they are going beyond that and them making a promise at night (Dark Type) and Ash talking about his own childhood in loving Pokemon and wanting to be a Trainer paralleling how Frogadier's backstory was about him looking up to the power a Trainer can give him and look we can keep going on forever with this, can we?

*sigh* I have to finish my summer wreath by Sunday night so it can go to work Monday, AND my niece is coming down this weekend which is going to make working on it difficult so I wanted to get a lot done tonight.

Unfortunately, I am at that point in the process where I need to make a few choices and once they are made, I can't go back and pick the other option. So I am sitting here, not making choices. Normally I at least get an opinion from my mom but she is off getting my niece, so here we are. All I have accomplished is attaching the mermaid tail form to the round wreath form, and making a couple pompoms in which is turns out the yarn is the shedding chenille kind that falls apart when you cut it so I made a big mess. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Idk what ur talking about honestly since I have seen a pretty big fair of subspace fans (on twitter especially) in the fandom understand how blackrock basically groomed him...I agree with the disabled part though.also The devs never really said anything like that about medkit lol. Flashback to that one retweet soda made where she said he would NOT be in the nice list,(back to that one tweet from that Santadecides account....not that much of a proof but it's something 😕) he isn't a good person but definitely the lesser evil of two.

Imo Medkit only gets to be the lesser of two evils because he had different expectations placed on him and he has the barebones of an emotional support system through Sword (aka one of, if not the most, lawful good character in Phighting rn).
