So does anybody else ever think about how Loop felt the need to demonstrate that the party's deaths wouldn't have any effect on the loops. I know I do but that's besides the point. Anyway I don't think Loop actually needs to bathe, they just like to feel included.

I have given up at trying to get people to treat us with any sort of basic human decency. I'll see people wishing for Israelis to get killed, raped, tortured etc, people telling us to "go back where we came from" yet simultaneously talking about how violence and hate crimes are justified for any filthy Israelis who dare step foot in another country, people telling us we don't deserve a single moment of security or peace in our lives because we dared be born in the one country that's safe for us, and people ON JUMBLR will go "they're clearly using Israeli as a dogwhistle for Jew so it's fucked up" "half of the world's Jews are there so it's antisemitic and therefore fucked up" as if it wouldn't be otherwise. I've given up at this point because I've realised no matter how much we try we can't justify our existences to anyone. All I can really do is lean into the argument in the ridiculous hope people will at least see us alongside diaspora Jews, as a part of the Jewish community as a whole, because sure people don't really like Jews anymore but at least they have to pretend like they do.

it's baffling to me the lengths to which people will try to frame anyone in iwtv as being better than anyone else. everyone who says they love each other is doing it poorly. Lestat apologised to Louis on that stage and it was real and it was also a performance. Armand feels genuine remorse for not saving Claudia, claims that he couldn't prevent it but we all know he could have. Louis loved Claudia and wanted the best for her, and she was a broken doll picked up and used to soothe his guilt. Even Claudia, who did love Louis, has a specific view of everything that happened to them, to her, that made her messy, that made her angry and awful at times. why would you flatten them? why would you take away what makes these emotions real and complicated?

I'm back in the Miguel trenches and I just saw this and I just about fell to the floor in tears because this is literally what's gonna happen to Mateo..

#obvi yeah Miguel would not in general BUT Im crazy and am gonna make this about the Arachnopi family#like even after Mateo helps Arachnopi with their funky situationship they still aren't end game#they will all one day go back to their respective dimensions. no mater how much Mateo literally BEGS them to stay together#he finally had his “parents” for a little over a year. you really think he'd be willing to let that go?#obvi not. and it consumes him. pain that could've easily been preventable if he just kept himself out if their business in the first place#He feels their presence missing for the rest of his life#and knowing it could all be prevented gives him a new life mission#To make sure no other dumb kid goes down the same path of dumb decisions he did.#He basically becomes a Miguel 2.0 who specializes in stopping young spider people for dimension hopping for personal relationships#He’d thankfully never meet another May/Miguel variant#but he will get comments from younger spiders who know Miguel that they see the resemblance#Especially since he’d constantly overwork himself which makes him look older then he is even when he’s only in his 20s#And like I said earlier Miguel would be devastated to see Mateo like this#ESPECIALLY if he’s older and goes through his inevitable btsv character development#he’d see so much if his Atsv version of himself in Mateo.
