finally at that age where i'm thinking i should get a tattoo. not bc i feel strongly about it, just seems like a waste not to. i've got so much skin i'm not using

#feels so selfish like. all this skin what am i saving it for?#open to design suggestions! (please make me regret this offer)#maybe some deep sea horrors. a pretty watercolor of a gulper eel #once saw a person on the subway with various Skeleton Tattoos on all their limbs #i respected their commitment to the theme #but more than that i respected how all the skeletons were engaged in Activities #dancing in a ballgown. juggling its own (and two other???) skulls. swordfighting. being a mermaid skeleton #ANYWAY. the only reason i haven't already gotten tattoos is i just couldn't be bothered #i'm old enough to know i don't have any strong-but-potentially-temporary feelings driving me towards it #aesthetically i prefer decorated to non-decorated surfaces. but i'm not artistic or thrilled with commitment #honestly it feels like sheer laziness. indecisiveness--nay. immaturity!--that i HAVEN'T gotten a tattoo yet #letting all this blank canvas go to waste. tut tut i need to grow up and be an adult and get a tattoo sleeve already.#really i've put off my responsibilities long enough #(in fairness i DID at one time have 18 different piercings)#(but i took most of them out bc they interfere with wearing headphones and/or shoving my face in my pillow during Sleep Time)#(i only kept the nape piercing bc oddly enough it ended up being the most convenient. and the least painful to get now i think about it.)#(neck piercing? no problem. normal pair of earrings? Tribulations And Suffering. i don't make the rules i just poke them with a stick.)

Fighting battles that have ABSOLUTELY been seen before (wanting to restart my Animal Crossing New Leaf town so I can begin the game from scratch and as myself as I am now vs. not wanting to restart my town because nostalgia and I'd miss my villagers)

The disconnect I have with my player character now?#I learned the hard way that acnl is VERYYYYYYY much a perpetrator of stricter gender norms/stereotypes #I have everythimg unlocked so when I booted up the game recently and tried to dress up the character so I can be more Me(tm) in the game #I went to Gracie's store to get pants and she was like- and I quote-#<<oh this is part of a men's line but I'm sure a woman like you could pull it off>>#GOOD LORDDDDDDDDD IT FELT AWFUL READING THAT BRO #gen made me so uncomfy that I just quit the game and haven't opened it since #there's also Harriet initially limiting the hairstyles by gender but she does open it up as an option but it is also kinda a whole #<<oh yeah you're a girl but you can pull off men's hairstyles too :))))>> which doesn't come off NEARLY as derogatorily #I mean yeah it's good that the options are still opened up but god. They sure did make improvement with acnh in that regard LMAO #also there's a whole thing of. I don't know how many things I would still be able to unlock if I reset like #It's been a million years!! I don't remember how I unlocked stuff like the little consoles and or mii head!!#both of those are very important btw I spent SOOOOO much time playing the little console minigames and the mii head is really the only way #for me to have my actual skintone for my character (for those who don't know in acnl- and every mainline game before it afaik- your #character started out with the lightest skintone no matter what and the only way to darken it was to wait for clear sky days in summer #and look up and press A or whatever and then you get a tan and I think even then you had to do it on different days for each melanin gain #even me who's relatively fair-skinned would have to spend like half a week for it SOOOO thank you acnh for improving in that field LMAO)#Anyways it is obviously a whole thing of only really getting one or the other #It's already less than a 1% chance that I can even get ONE of the same starting villager it's just IMPOSSIBLE to get all of the same ones #even if I managed to get all their amiibo cards (which I don't think that's really possible either without spending A LOT) iirc if you have #a full town they randomly select one villager to kick out so. It'd be a whole thing really #and just buying a new copy of the game is prolly the better solution if I don't want to delete the old game but atp why bother 💀💀💀#it's just!!! agfhfhdhdjs if only it was as simple as just. Make a new save slot character and they can replace the old one #but alas!!!!!! Deleting the mayor character = deleting the save file as a whole #I say all this but also like. I CAN probably bring myself to delete the save file #I've done it a bunch of times with Tomodachi Life (only reason I'm not doing it again is because I have a bunch of people on there that I #straight up gen am never seeing again because they've either moved or graduated and it feels disrespectful at that point)#and I also did it with Happy Home Designer and Pokémon Moon and even New Horizons a WHOLE lot #idk why it feels like such a big deal for acnl????????????

one day there WILL be a black girl in a fanganronpa that will be a survivor and/or be desired as a love interest to somebody. one day there will be a black girl who wont be treated as the side character or the support girl throughout the series until the last minute. she will be explored more before its too late. TRUST!!!!!!

#i should've known sigh. of course she wasnt gonna make it lol #i might have to make that character cuz i cant trust fangans anymore to represent black girls in a way that avoid how #theyre typically treated in media. sorry but she couldve been... more. its not if the way she was treated was BAD but just offputting #the treatment was kind of offputting more bc she was the only brown-skinned and only racial minority (blk) other than the majority #it was very glaringly obvious that despite the series being like “theres no protagonist” she was one of the characters #treated as The Side Character or The Support girl. the moment she gets explored more she just. dies. because of course #the way she was treated was typical. Just typical. Slightly off-putting. but its not the worse or horrendously bad.#im begging for fangan creators to be more aware of how theyre treating their brown and/or black characters #ESPECIALLY if there is only like one of them in the cast. they can die but at least be fair to them before they die #other than that the girls in general deserve more screen time and development like some of the current men survivors before they die #i came in the series being a bit wary of how she was going to be treated and it was. and well my predictions/concerns were right

Of those who went to Playful Land, Vil came out of it with a surprising aversion to all things puppets. And a constant Urge to scratch at the right side of his face, fearful of feeling wood rooted in there rather than human skin. Even months afterward, he'd still feel a certain ick when dealing with anything related to puppets and will have a blatantly obvious fear response to finding even stray sticks in his hair.

He wasn't really able to stomach having ribbons on his wrists or even wearing harnesses for commercial or modeling gigs he did that year for a bit either. He'd tossed the clothes from Playful Land in the back of the Film club's costume shed, as he didn't want them to go to waste even still. He'd even asked the other's willing to give theirs up to store them in there too. He doesn't think he would be able to use them for anything, though, as just the idea of wearing that ensemble again is Abhorrent to him. Even the mere thought of Epel try one on left him feeling nauseous.

It's just puzzling!#hc; ortho #//Leo; like Vil; ended up utterly unable to think back to his time at Playful Land as fun; considering Everything #//And likewise does also scratch at his face a little on occasion; tends to dig his claws into his skin more though #//As if he's actively feeling for any remnants of wood to be buried deep in there; and to ground himself that there aren't #//For him in particular; he got terrible episodes of sleep paralysis for weeks after; forced back into the feeling of his body stiffening #//He of course fronts everything is okay; but he Hates the feeling that he actually wound up more affected by it than he'd care to admit #//Esp considering Jack was in danger--that's the part that GOT to Leona the most. And. Hoo boy. No. No “x” is NOT allowed to exist. If I say I’m asexual, I’m expected to also be 0% Romantic Aromantic Asexual. If I describe what I would want in a romantic relationship, I’m told it’s “just” a friendship. If I describe my demiromanticism, that’s just a “good head on my shoulders” or has people suspicious I’m only friends with them to date them—neither is true. I can and will sit with romantic feelings that ONLY develop when someone is SAFE platonically indefinitely. But also demiromanticism is not “Aromantic Enough” and therefore I’m not “Aroace Enough”. Asexuality and dating? Either you break your boundaries or the other person feels physically neglected or you can’t have exclusivity. Dating apps? Free ones do not include asexuals with the full features—it’s either a trial period or essentially a paying Allo has to approach YOU—with maybe the exception of Tinder. Paid service apps that include or are for asexuals are few and far between.

Remind me how romantic/grey&demi aromantic asexuals are so “accepted.” Because this isn’t even getting into the constant allonormative messaging. This is just the practicality of when an asexual falls in love, wants to date someone, or would like to try experiencing either.

so ive been to london for the (kindof) very first time as a conscious human being and man it is like. i can’t articulate all the feelings ive been having but its making me REALLY emo because Wow heres a city that seemingly works!
