Valka and Spitelout are siblings is my theory and that’s how Snotlout and Hiccup are cousins. It also explains why Spitelout disliked Stoick. He blamed him for his sister going missing and probably thought that Stoick wasn’t good enough for his sister. Also they both have the same eyes too.

Little appreciation post for the many unique and heartfelt friendships we had in DreamWorks movies, including the Nublar Six

Over the years DreamWorks showed us in so many different ways in their movies and shows, how important friendship is. For me the best and most memorable are Hiccup and Toothless and the Nublar Six. Still til this day, Hiccup and Toothless have the best cinematic friendship ever written. Not miles of distance can break the strong bond they share and that’s true friendship at its finest.

So, I'm making this little book on dragon theories and findings, and one of these theories I made is that Death songs & Deathgrippers could co-exist with each other. Due to them both having a diet of other dragons. with the Deathgripper paralyzing the prey and the Death song luring other dragons with its song and then encasing them in amber, which can be removed with something hot enough to melt it, like the Deathgripper's acid, being able to set almost anything aflame. And judging if their living environments are the same as what the insect & arachnid they were based on live in, their common environments would be Desserts, Forests, & Grasslands

Are Seadragonus Giganticus Maximus nest parasites?

Toothless talks about his mother teaching him things but never mentions that she is really huge. Teaching survival skills to a tiny infant is hard when you are orders of magnitude bigger. Are Seadragons common/garden mimics that switch an egg out for their own? Or do Seadragon babies provide some kind of benefit for raising them? (Like geriatric care, idk.) I kind of doubt a dragon could be "tricked" into believing the egg is their own, they're much more intelligent than say... warblers.

So I've been thinking about this for a while now and I need a hard-core HTTYD fan to correct me if I'm wrong but...

Was Valka meant to be the villain in HTTYD 2 originally? Because I was rewatching the movie recently and I honestly got the vibe that she was originally going to be a twist villain and Drago was a red herring or something.

Like the fact she's able to make Toothless faint without even touching him, or that she knew how to push his back fins out even though she's never met a Nightfury before. That felt like a leftover bit from a version where she wasn't a good guy. It just gave me a bad vibe!

Am I the only one who felt like this?

I have a theory that when Valka went missing when she was still nursing Hiccup that Snotlout’s mother nursed Hiccup instead. She had milk because she was nursing Snotlout and Snotlout and Hiccup are cousins so it would make sense. I would like to think that as that result that Hiccup and Snotlout grew up together a little

Can we all just agree that Ben from Jurassic World/Park Franchise is the true descendant of our lovely, dorky, handsome Viking Chief who has a Goddess of a Wife and two beautiful children with her. Ben deserves the same love, Hiccstrid has. I hope he will someday find his true love and we will meet his girlfriend if it’s true that he has one.

headcanon: sharpshot likes to sleep on hiccup's back, hes learnt from astrid's terror to be extremly sneaky and sometimes hiccup doesn't even notice hes there Which comes in handy when they need to send for backup

Sharpshot also liked doing this during dob or inbetween dob to rtte and he really misses hiccup's fluffy vest because that was best to sleep in

THERE IS A CONSPIRACY IN THE HTTYD BOOK FANDOM (and maybe another fandom, I'm not sure yet). I have been gathering evidence and theorising about a secret collaborative project. There are 5 blogs/accounts that I'm certain are a part of this, but I suspect another 2 may be in on it as well (there could be more) (this may also expand on to tiktok, but again I'm not sure). I'm sure I'm the only one invested in this, but if anyone else in interested/has any evidence or theories, I would love to hear about it ❤️

Gothi seems to be the only one to believe that Hiccup is into something in the first film. She watches Hiccup in training, with this thoughtful expression as opposed to one of awe, she picks him to go up against the Nightmare (Hookfang), and as Toothless is being caged she covers two children’s eyes to stop them from watching as she herself does in horror. Gothi knew.
