#Spoonie art#Sooonie poetry#Art#Poetry#Chronic illness#Chronic pain#Disability#Internalized ableism#Anyway it is now day 18 of my first intractable migraine#Big day on Monday: emergency eye appt and getting the results of my brain MRI#I'm actually More nervous about the ophthalmologist finding something than the MRI.#But the MRI results need to hurry up bc my husband's mental health is tanking right now#It's always extremely hard on him mentally when my health goes haywire#And I know he's scared the MRI will show either a tumor or multiple sclerosis. His two biggest fears 😢#And it would not be the first time a doc has casually said to us 'oh it's probably the beginning of MS'#Support#Imaging#Brain MRI#Eyes#Anyway the MRI was difficult but nowhere near as migraine-triggering as I feared.#The staff were super nice to me (gave me a dark room to wait in)#And good bless my neurologist who—when I asked him for Xanax to make it through—gave me Valium instead#Anyeay pls boost this one I really want to put out this call for art and poetry
