⇾ quality time:

hyojong would love spending with you when he’d have the time. even if he had a tight schedule, he’d try his best to make time for you by bringing you lunch while you’d be at work and maybe you’d take a little walk at a nearby park before you’d both have to go back

you’d do a lot of artsy things together like visit art museums and try to figure out the meanings of the art . this would probably inspire you to go a couple’s painting class or something

if you’d be able to, i think he’d like to get out of the city at least once a month to see nature and sort of reset because living in a bustling city can be very stressful. so, it’d do both of you some good to get away sometimes and catch up and maybe work on some hobbies but it wouldn’t really matter that much

i feel like he would offer to drive you any and everywhere just because and you’d appreciate it a lot because traffic can be brutal and you wouldn’t have to be alone on days when you’d have a lot of errands

there would always be those days where he’d be too tired to do his skincare routine and you’d always help him, so he would definitely return the favor. would probably squish you face gently before kissing your cheek and going to bed

A ⇴ AFFECTION

Hyojong is incredibly soft around you, he loves to be able to cuddle up to you and often uses his affection to make sure that you feel loved as that’s his number one priority. His affection will always be close and meaningful with you.

B ⇴ BEFORE DATING

The two of you met when you were working at the studio that he was rehearsing at. You weren’t quite sure what it was about you both, but the two of you just instantly seemed to click. You spent the whole day chatting away to each other and getting to know each other, finding out about all the things that you had in common with each other.

It didn’t take too long for Hyojong to confess to you, he enjoyed your company, and there was no way that he was going to risk losing you to someone else first. He confessed one evening when the two of you went out for a walk, he sat you down on a bench halfway through your walk, taking a tight hold of your hand as he tried his hardest to remain calm and tell you everything that he wanted to say to you.

Hyojong always made time for you, at least once a week the two of you would have a whole evening where you’d just be with each other, with your phones switched off. He knew he was busy a lot, so he’d make up for plenty of lost time with your dates. He would make sure that every date the two of you had was special and made sure that it was something you’d remember. He much preferred your dates to be quiet and relaxed then anything too overwhelming, his main focus was just being able to talk to you.

He didn’t care what anyone thought about the fact that he was in a relationship, he wanted to put his own happiness first, regardless of what anyone else thought. He knew what he had to do in order to go about things in the right way, having learnt from previous experiences, but if anyone was to tell him no, then he’d definitely go ahead and do the complete opposite. He was his own person, he didn’t need his company to tell him what he could or couldn’t do, his career would always be important to him, but so was love.

The two of you didn’t tend to fight often, but if you did, it would usually end in something pretty big. The two of you were stubborn, and firmly believed that you were right in any disagreement that the two of you had. It would usually take for one of your friends to nudge the two of you back together and encourage you to talk things through. As much as you hated to fight with each other, you both knew that arguments were natural in relationships and that no one expected to live your lives always on the best of terms. Eventually, the two of you would always talk things through and carry on like nothing ever happened.

To begin with, Hyojong’s family were quite protective, it took a couple of visits for them to really warm to you. It certainly made you nervous for a while, but as you gradually began to feel that you were accepted as a part of his family, it definitely made life easier for you, and put you in a much happier position with Hyojong.

Hyojong didn’t want to rush your relationship, he wanted to work at a pace that was comfortable for you both, but as he began to work a lot more, he was keen to move you in after a few months so that he could spend more time with you. He didn’t want to wait for days to see you anymore, he wanted to see you when he got home instead.

He was the first one to say, ‘I love you,’ when you surprised him at a concert. He hadn’t seen you for a couple of weeks because he was working so hard, so when you had the chance to head over and see him, you took it in an instance. He didn’t have time to think when he saw your face for the first time, he just found himself letting you know that he loved you.

Around other people is often when Hyojong will feel most insecure. He knows that others think of him as a bit of a unique character, so when someone else tries to compare themselves to him, he’ll often shrink back into his shell. Just the feeling of your hand holding onto him will usually be enough to convince him that he has no reason to get jealous, but for the rest of the night he’ll definitely be a bit off the ball until the two of you can finally leave and he can go back to being in a more comfortable environment.

Starting a family was a huge deal to Hyojong, he wanted to complete that family dynamic whenever the time was right for the two of you. You knew at the start of your relationship that his career was the priority, but as your relationship became more serious, that focus tended to shift more to trying to find a balance of making his career work, but also looking towards a future with you, preferably with children too.

You loved the many quirks that Hyojong had, he was unique, which was what you loved the most about him. There was never a day when he didn’t make you laugh, even if he was busy at work, he’d send you a dodgy selfie or send you a silly joke that he knew would put the smile on his face. He didn’t care how much of a fool he looked around you, if it was enough to make you laugh, then it was good enough for him. Now that he was travelling alone, Hyojong was more desperate to have you with him than ever. He’d try and work his schedules around you too so that you could take along and he could show you a bit more of the world. If you weren’t there, touring and promoting would feel very lonely for Hyojong. Not having you by his side was hard for him, especially if time zones meant that he wouldn’t be able to call you every day or receive a text from you. Whenever he came home from tour, he didn’t let you go for a very long time, he knew he had a lot of time to make up for, and despite your protests, he’d refuse to let you go.

When you first started dating, Hyojong mentioned to you how he loved when you called him ‘jongie,’ so that was what stuck for you both. Any time he heard you say it, it was a guarantee that his cheeks would turn bright red.

Whilst he’s not over the top with his affection, Hyojong isn’t afraid to be affectionate with you in public. It fits in well with the other bands around his wrist, but when you see it on his wrist, you know that he’s wearing it because of you. In interviews or segments, he’ll often fiddle with the bracelet to make a point of making sure that the camera focuses on it so you can see that he’s playing with the bracelet especially for you.

He’s incredibly soft when it comes to intimacy, he loves to make sure that you feel loved and special around him. Jinho:

The shy guy who sits next to you in the front because he's too short to see the board. You say hi to him but he just timidly glances at you and smiles. A few days after sitting next to each other, you started having full conversations with him when the teacher walks out or when the class is assigned work to do. You got to know him more, and he began to naturally open up to you. Then BOOM he’s the loudest obnoxious kid ever. The two of you make fun of the teachers and play pranks on the other students and when the both of you talk, the other building can hear your high-pitched laughters.

Hui:

The guy who you sit next to because he looked smart and easy to get along with when he smiled and waved at you. You enjoyed chilling in between breaks with him but when the class has work to do, his true self awakens. He will nag at every little mistake you make on your work and is a straight perfectionist. But after he sees you struggling and groaning in frustration, he laughs a little to himself and invites you to come to his house so he can help you.

Hongseok:

The one guy who picked up your pencil on the first day of school as you dropped it on your way into class in a hurry because you were late. You couldn’t find an empty seat anywhere but then he tells his friend beside him to make space for an extra desk. He goes up to tell the teacher that you need a desk and chair so you ended up having your desk placed next to him. Throughout the year, you just found yourself naturally relying on Hongseok when you need guidance or fun. He’s either always acting like a mom to you or a ten year old child making jokes that cause you to laugh until the teacher gives both of you detention or makes you stand outside the classroom.

Edawn:

The classmate who is technically never in class. You met him by chance when you went to get lunch with Hui. He seemed really cold and distant when you first saw him, but when he introduced himself, the two of you got along so well you forgot Hui was still there. The two of you would usually go out to shop and get food. I wouldn’t say he’s a bad influence per se, but he definitely did make you ditch class a lot of times. BUT when he is in class with you, the two of you would have so much fun just chilling and messing around in the back of the class. People were jealous of the two of you tbh. Whenever you two were together, people labeled you guys as the “Power Duo.”

Shinwon:

Your most EXTRA friend ever. He just randomly came up to you and asked for a pencil... and then another... and then another. At this point, you knew he was going to keep breaking pencils so you just gave him a pen. But then he started sitting next to you and making ridiculous jokes and weird meme faces that you couldn’t help but laugh along with him. During class, the two of you would do ridiculous stuff like drawing on desks and then after school, both of you would do pointless activities like running around parking lots or pushing each other on shopping carts. The two of you also have this complicated, but super cool, handshake and the rest of the boys just leave to their classes when they see either one of you signal the start of the handshake. Other students voted both of you as the “Most Extra” for the superlative section of the yearbook.

Yeo One:

The sweetest boy ever. Some girl knocked over your supplies and he rushed over to help you. He swiftly picked up the fallen supplies and books, putting them back into your locker and introduced himself with a sweet smile. You thanked him and gradually, you found him coming to your rescue as the school year continued. When in class, he would try really hard to concentrate and you would just stare at his serious face, laughing even when the whole class was supposed to work. He would crack a few horrible dad jokes here and there and lowkey, I feel like the two of you would turn into the cutest school couple.

Yanan:

So so shy, even more so than when Jinho first met you. You only happened to talk to him by chance through a lab project. You would often make mistakes, almost pouring the wrong chemicals in the tube and he would just loudly shout at you to stop with his high-pitched voice. You got scared by his shouts and accidentally dropped the glass hurting your hands in the process. Yanan got so scared for you, he immediately pulled you close to him, checking for any major wounds. The teacher excused the two of you to the nurse but the nurse wasn’t there, so he ended up disinfecting your hand on his own. He didn’t know how to use the bandage wrap but he was so concerned for you, he just wrapped it as secure as he could. You laughed at his concerned actions and told him your hand was absolutely fine but he wouldn’t accept it. After the incident, Yanan just found himself wanting to protect you all the time but is also super clingy around you and would always ask you to keep him company because he gets bored in classes often. Many students thought you two were a couple and always have that “Awhh” reaction when either one of you does something for the other.

Yuto:

He’s the most intimidating person in your school. Nobody would talk to him or try to even introduce themselves to him. You’d hear rumors about him so you assumed he would be a rebel outcast, but when you saw him with his group of friends you thought he looked rather nice. He sat in the back of you, and you would always feel his head right behind you. You’d take out your mirror just to see him squinting his eyes to look at the board. You laughed and turned around to ask if he wanted to switch seats. He looked at you with surprise written all over his face. He thought you’d be too afraid to talk to him but here you were moving to switch seats with him. From there on, the two of you would share notes and you would always make fun of him for writing a word or two wrong because he refuses to get contacts or glasses. After school, his personality would be a total 180-degree change. When the two of you went to the library or hung out at his house, he would be so clingy and cheesy. He’d tell you how he thought other classmates being scared of him was funny and how he sometimes act intimidating for fun. The whole school would never understand why the two of you were so close, but deep down the girls were all pretty jealous you hung out with the ”mysterious bad boy.”

Kino:

Such a sweet boy. You met him the moment you stepped foot onto the campus. He saw your lost expression and he immediately came up to you and asked if you needed help. He introduced his friends to you and told you which classes to take. He lowkey told you to take the classes he had so he could spend more time with you. Overall, he’s a really nice and reliable friend but don’t get me wrong, the two of you bickered so much that the rest of the group just leaves the conversation. During lunch, you would share food with him and act so sweet together that everyone thought you two were a couple. BUT when he started talking about his tv show opinions, you went off on him. He likes all the characters you hated and he hated all the characters you liked. The two of you were a chaotic mess, but at the end of the day, you guys would walk each other home and just have fun from the simplest things.

Wooseok:

SO awkward. This boy couldn’t even look you in the eyes when his friend introduced him to you. You tried to ease the tension by asking him if he wants to go grab lunch together. He kind of replied too quickly and immediately avoided eye contact again. When the two of you picked your lunches at the cafeteria, both of you realized that your food tastes are the exact same and bonded through that. From then on, the two of you would always get lunch together and talk about pointless things. Everyday, he would quickly pack his stuff and wait for you outside your class so the two of you can head to lunch. Everyone in the school envied the relationship you two had, but you guys thought there was nothing special to be jealous about. Afterschool, Wooseok would do the same thing, waiting for you to pack up and wait by your classroom door, and then head out to go some place fun. You guys would often go to arcades, laser tag, or any other exciting activities together.

no one was really shocked, chemistry was there from the start. you met through friends a while back and, because of this, you grew close due to how often your friend groups hung out together. despite being within a group of friends, you both seemed closer to eachother than with the others. feelings started to arise in both of you as skinship and flirting got more frequent. neither of you knew how to confess, however. the fear of having your friend group react badly to two of their members dating lingered in both of your minds. hed talk to his friends about the situation in private and thats when he found they all had been secretly routing for you two. this spurred slight confidence in him. he would be freaking out, wanting to make sure the way he asked you was amazing and sure to make you say yes. he woke up one morning with confidence and adrenaline. he rushed to the nearest flowershop to buy you a bouquet of the flowers he knew you loved, then showed up at your doorstep and choked out the cutest but sweetest confession.

Pentagon Hugs~

Because hugs are nice and totally not because one or both of our admins could use one or two rn hehe

Jinho:

You can always tell when Jinho’s in the mood for a hug, cause he’ll get all smiley and giggly and won’t take his eyes off you, that give you this sweet warm look. In the beginning it might be hard to notice though, so he will wind up surprising you with a cute lil hug from the side, sometimes just embracing your arm and putting his head on your shoulder, other times sloppily throwing his arms around you while smiling at you broadly. No matter what kind of hug he gives you though, he will always manage to make you feel appreciated~

Hui:

When the two of you aren’t close yet he won’t be sure if it’s okay to touch you yet and to what extent. So even though he often has the urge to hug you, he will hold himself back out of respect for your boundaries. If you notice him staring and hold out your arms to show him you don’t mind a hug, he will come running to you all giggly and embarrassed and wrap his arms around you loosely at first, but the better you two get to know each other, the tighter and more serious his hugs will become~

Hongseok:

Hongseok won’t give hugs to just anyone or at any time. The person needs to be special and so does the occasion. So if he’s missed you or you are feeling down, he will come over to you and hug you loosely, putting his hands securely behind your back and slowly allowing the hug to become more intimate as you wrap your arms around him as well. While listening to his calming heartbeat, you just stand there for a while, enjoying each other’s warmth, before you slowly part again. All that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t appreciate being hugged by you every now and then though~

Hyojong:

Won’t hesitate to put an arm around you loosely right from the beginning, so it probably won’t take long until you start hugging each other as a greeting or a goodbye. His hugs will always vary in how much emotion he puts behind it - if it’s a more casual hug he’ll just loosely put his arms around your body in a quick manner, but if he wants to convey to you how much you mean to him he will take his time to properly embrace you, put his head closely next to yours, and start slowly patting your head. If you do the same for him and touch his hair, he will most likely start giggling and playfully complaining that that’s his role~

Shinwon:

Mostly gives buddy-hugs. The ones where you just throw arms around the other happily, that scream “no deeper feelings involved”, but still he manages to always make them feel very warm. Just sometimes when he feels lonely and longs for someone he can trust to stick around a little longer he will suddenly wear a serious expression while softly letting his hands find their way around your body to your back, leaning into you while you hold onto him, maybe drawing patterns on his back, and nuzzling his face into your neck so you’re not sure if he’s about to leave a little kiss there or not~

Changgu:

“Hey, wanna feel my arms?” He’ll usually just have gotten back from training and want to show off how much stronger he got ever since he started working out, but he won’t challenge you to an arm-wrestling duel. Instead he will hug you tight and not let go of you, even if you tell him to because you honestly can’t breathe right now. But hug him back and he will feel reassured that you won’t let go of him so soon, and he will release some of the pressure too and hold you more loosely, but still close enough so he can feel your heartbeat and your breath on his skin while he smiles fondly to himself~

Yanan:

Super shy at first. Like he wants to hug you and you will want to hug him, but the hugs still turn out kinda short and kinda awkward. However, as soon as you two have warmed up to each other and he trusts you enough, he will lightly wrap his arms around your shoulders and put his body weight onto you, but only as much as you can carry. If he’s hugging you from behind he will defo put his head right next to yours and give you that sweet smile of his, and then maybe even kiss your cheek before fleeing while giggling shyly because even he can’t believe he just did that~

Yuto:

BEAR HUGS. With him it will take a while until he knows you’re comfortable with hugging him, but once he does you will receive at least three of his heartfelt bear hugs everyday - one to say hello, one to say goodbye, and the other one randomly in between when he feels like it. Hugging him will always feel like being wrapped into a blanket except it’s a Yuto-blanket, especially when he’s wearing a sweater. Really he’d be content just to hold you, but if you hug him back and bury your face in his chest or his neck he will feel very loved and laugh softly right next to your ear~

Hyunggu:

Hugs and lil touches everyday all day. He doesn’t mind physical contact at all and will literally die if he doesn’t have his hands on someone all the time lol. Of course he will be mindful if and where you like to be touched, but once you’re both comfortable with each other and you crave a hug, just go to him. Whether it’s a quick hug or a long, deep one, Hyunggu’s always ready for some extra affection. When he feels really cuddly he will pull you into his lap and embrace you with his arms, bringing his head to your shoulder so his face is really close to yours, and sometimes if you’re lucky he will leave a lil peck on your cheek or your neck~

Wooseok:

I think you won’t get that many hugs from Wooseok - but the few you do share are all the more meaningful. Like he will one day just walk up to you from behind and tightly wrap his arms around your waist while resting his head on top of yours or on your shoulder. Just enjoying having you so close he will shut his eyes for a while to savour the moment. As soon as he lets go and goes back to whatever he was doing, make sure to turn around and return the favour and he will let you see the most innocent smile from the outside - but on the inside he will melt completely~

idk if it’s just me but i see hyojong as being the artsy type which is why i think he would have been an artist of the sorts before he started modeling

at first, he was a freelance photographer and spent most of his time discovering things to photograph that ranged from like nature but he liked taking pictures of the city at night a bit more but he basically just photographed whatever he wanted

and one day he found you and it wasn’t love at first sight or anything, he just found everything about you unique and had to take a picture or two

and somehow you noticed and asked to see and of course he showed you and it was really nice how he captured you in a way that you didn’t see yourself if that makes sense

so you looked him up and his online portfolio/website was so nice and not just the pictures but also the web design (which he coded himself) just kinda tied the overall mood he wanted it to give off really well

like, the two of you meshed really well

and like after a few months of going on dates at like 2am and seeing him get really excited when he showed you how he got inspiration and his editing process and etc., the two of you were officially dating

yeah so one day he got asked to do headshots for his friend hui and he mentioned that hyojong would be a good model and he kinda shrugged like “nah”

but that kinda changed when hui told almost everyone he knew about him and they found his site that has a few pictures hyojong took of himself just for kicks but they’re like wow he’s really handsome

he didn’t know what to do or think after that bc the model life wasn’t really all that appealing to him but that was until he was able to sit in on a photo shoot (the agency that wanted him as a model allowed him to, they even let him help out the photographers) that he realized it was pretty cool

he was still on the fence about the whole thing until hui mentioned traveling and that sounded cool but he had a lot to think about

now, he had you in mind during the whole thing but then he really thought about how he’d have to leave you behind when the traveling really began but thankfully he had a few days to make a decision

but long story short, after a day or so he realized that it was a once in a lifetime chance and he also realized that he didn’t have to be a model forever so it was basically an experiment to him

you were super happy for him bc you knew he really liked the traveling aspect of becoming a model and yeah he would be away a lot but it’s all about compromising

yeah so the agency was beyond happy with his decision bc he was so versatile and his photography skills were amazing so they knew he was very promising from the get-go

and luckily for hyojong, hui was also apart of the agency and he has you to support him so he didn’t have to go through it all alone and he was so thankful for that

after his first photo shoots went public, he was all that anyone was talking about bc have you seen him?? and bc those shoots showed how versatile he was like he could go from adorable to brooding in nanoseconds

he called you a few days later and the first 5 minutes of the call was just him making screeching noises bc he was so excited and you joined in later bc you were excited for him and everything about that moment was precious

so hyojong became really popular really fast and with popularity came more hard work and he barely had time to just talk to you as long as he wanted/usually did and it was pretty stressful for him bc you were his live wire but the thought of you made him stronger

but he made the most of every chance he had to call and facetime you and it was just like other times in the sense that it wasn’t weird. your love for each other was still there despite the distance

his ig and sc accounts were adorable and unique bc he just went with the flow instead of having a set theme and he showed some of his other talents like dancing and rapping and he was  so humble about it and that made fans love him more

oh and his photography and editing skills also wowed his fans bc how could someone be so talented. and if you looked really close at the credits and photographers for really popular photo shoots, you could see hyojong’s name among them

sometimes he’d post things with hui and it was hilarious bc sometimes they’d photobomb each other. and they go out to explore together and hyojond would send you the pictures and tell you what reminded him of you and it was so cute

yeah so the first chance he got to see you again he took it and being home was just so nice to him and the two of you would chill and go to museums together and everything fell back into place

model hyojong has many talents and is such a versatile model who stays humble and true to himself even with his growing popularity. also, he’s super thankful for you bc he didn’t know where he’d be without you
