I started writing a Beyblade/Pokémon crossover a little while back, but I’ve had a case of writer’s block lately and my mind is the equivalent of a desert, so here are a few of the  niche ideas I had but never got to writing about!!

-The dolphin scene in season one with Valt and Shu on the beach, but a bunch of Palafin leap out of the water instead. Valt catches one. Later, he activates Zero to Hero by accident and kicks ass with this super buff dolphin.

-Shu and Lui both had Vulpixes starting out (Kanto and Alola) and are paired in a tournament as double battle partners to win a fire and ice stone to evolve them. They don’t get each other’s names, and by the time they meet at national championships, they’ve forgotten each other’s faces.

-Principal Shinoda is the town professor now, and he gives Valt and Shu Eevees after the regional tournament arc. Valt’s evolves into a Sylveon after the fight against Zac and Shu’s into an Espeon.

-Valt uses water and fairy types because I love fairy types and I needed some way to narrow down the dex (also Valt with my queen my icon Primarina ❤️❤️❤️)

-Mimikyu and Ken??

-Daina has a Corviknight and Ryota has a Rookidee 

-Wakiya has an arc in season one about overcoming his fear of heights with the bey club, and in his nationals match against Shu, he rides his Noivern to have more control over its flight or something 

-Shu’s scar was caused by a wayward Icicle Spear from Lui’s Baxcalibur 

-Gou gave Lui a Gible as a gift when they first became friends and Lui gave him a Snorunt in return 

-Free would love Z-Moves. Like oooh silly pose and suddenly a snorlax is falling out of the sky to end your life

-Also Free would definitely have a snorlax and he would try to pull it with a rope instead of the boulder training

-Drum’s rainbow hyperflux is replaced with him finding out the Stellar type exists

-Delta and Absol.

Hunter sat in his usual seat in the Marauder’s bunk, hunched forward, his expression hard. His sharp gaze was locked onto the cockpit, where the Mandalorian sat beside Tech, their quiet conversation barely audible over the steady hum of hyperspace travel and Wrecker’s distant snoring. "Malakai."

Hunter blinked, turning to find Echo standing beside him, arms crossed. "What?" "It’s his name," Echo clarified with a dry chuckle. "Talked to him earlier. Seems like a decent guy - just not too keen on taking that bucket off." Hunter huffed, casting another wary glance toward the cockpit. "Tatooine, huh? Quite the shady planet he’s leading us to. Think we can trust him?"

Echo leaned against the shuttle's wall with a shrug. "Honestly? If he wanted us dead, he’d have made a move by now." Hunter sat back, exhaling a slow breath. "I just don’t want Omega caught up in more trouble. She’s already got the whole galaxy after her." Echo’s expression softened. "I know. But trouble’s gonna find us no matter what. With another man around, we might stand a better chance." Hunter didn’t respond right away. His eyes lingered on Malakai, the Mandalorian’s helmeted face unreadable. Something about him made Hunter’s instincts itch.

"Maybe," he muttered. "But I’m keeping an eye on him."

Echo smirked. "Wouldn’t expect anything less."

In the cockpit, Tech’s voice droned on as he gestured toward the control panel. "And that is why I replaced the outdated ion propulsion system with a next-generation hyperflux drive - its efficiency and power output surpass anything the Empire has ever seen, and...."

Omega sat cross-legged on the floor, her trooper doll in her lap, eyes flicking between Tech and Malakai. She studied the Mandalorian, twirling a paintbrush between her fingers. Malakai shifted under her stare, trying to focus on Tech’s words. It wasn’t easy.

"Can I help you?" His voice came out sharper than he intended. "Yes, actually." Omega didn’t flinch. "Why are you still wearing your helmet?" Malakai clicked his tongue, searching for an excuse. "I... enjoy my anonymity."

Omega tilted her head, unconvinced. "But you’re on our ship now. Don’t you get hot in there?" He exhaled through the vocoder, the sound distorted but unmistakably weary. "I’m used to it." She studied him a moment longer. "Are you hiding from someone?"

Malakai hesitated. His posture remained rigid, but something shifted - small, almost imperceptible. "Something like that." Omega hummed thoughtfully, dipping her brush into a small jar of paint Wrecker had given her. "Hunter says people who hide too much usually have something to run from."

Malakai let out a dry chuckle. "Smart guy." She grinned. "He is." Then, after a pause, she offered, "I could paint your armour if you want. Make it look less scary." Malakai finally turned to her, the T-shaped visor unreadable. "You think I look scary?"

Omega considered, then shook her head. "Not to me. But maybe to other people." Malakai let out a quiet hum. "That’s the point."

Before she could respond, Tech cut in. "Malakai, are you listening?" The Mandalorian turned back to the clone, brushing off the strange feeling settling in his chest. "Loud and clear."

"Good, because you’re going to be listening to me now," Hunter’s voice cut through their conversation as he stepped into the cockpit, arms crossed. "What exactly are we walking into on that sandball?" Malakai scoffed, leaning back in his seat. "What happened to ‘hi’ and ‘hello’?"

Hunter’s glare remained steady. "Didn’t realise we were doing pleasantries now."

Malakai tilted his helmet slightly. "Could’ve fooled me."

Tech cleared his throat, clearly uninterested in their back-and-forth. "Answer the question." Malakai exhaled through the vocoder. "A contact. One with information we’ll want." Hunter’s eyes narrowed. "That vague answer isn’t helping your case."

Shrugging, Malakai turned away. "You’ll get details when we land. The less you know now, the safer you are."

Tatooine’s suns burned high when the Havoc Marauder docked in the spaceport, the air thick with dust and the scent of overheated machinery. Waves of shimmering heat rose from the duracrete landing pads, distorting the already bustling streets beyond the port’s perimeter.

Hunter descended the ramp first, scanning the area, senses sharp. The hum of distant engines, the chatter of traders, and the occasional bark from vendors filled the air. He sighed. This was going to be one of those migraine planets.

Behind him, Malakai strode down the ramp, unbothered by the heat. The golden details of his armor glinted under the twin suns. "Welcome to Tatooine," he drawled, his modulated voice laced with sarcasm. "Hope you like sand." Wrecker groaned, already wiping sweat from his forehead. "Ugh, I hate this place." Tech adjusted his goggles. "Considering the planetary climate, that sentiment is understandable."

Omega, however, took it all in with wide eyes. "I think it’s kind of exciting."

Malakai scrolled through his datapad. "We’re here to meet Ritol Rayci. Mercenary I crossed paths with a few months back. She’s got leads we’ll want." Hunter and Echo exchanged wary glances. Echo spoke first. "And what makes you so sure she’ll help?" Malakai tilted his helmet slightly. "Let’s just say she owes me a favor."

With that, he turned and strode toward the exit. Omega skipped after him, and after a shared look, the squad followed.

The cantina was alive with movement and noise, thick with the scent of cheap liquor and sweat. Dim neon lights flickered overhead, casting long shadows across the mismatched patrons - smugglers, bounty hunters, and locals looking to drown their troubles. Hunter led the way, his sharp gaze sweeping the room as they pushed through the crowd. Malakai moved with practiced ease, just another armored figure in a den of outlaws.

Omega wrinkled her nose. "Does every cantina smell this bad?" Wrecker chuckled. "You get used to it."

At the far end of the room, a lone figure sat in a shadowed booth, posture relaxed but alert.

"There," Malakai murmured. Hunter followed his line of sight, instincts already on high alert. "That her?" Malakai nodded. "Ritol Rayci."

The squad exchanged wary glances before Hunter exhaled and started toward the booth. "Let’s get this over with."

Shockwave

Shockwave is a former scientist for the Senate, who was booted out, empurataed, and shadowplayed for his delving into clone technology. When the war reared its head, he went to Megatron to continue his career, albeit not working in clone technology directly, but rather in the replication of the legendary combiner process. He got his signature Hyperflux Multitool during a particularly nasty raid on an Autobot encampment, where he tore the prototype from Hoist’s arm, taking it with him while sparing the engineer out of a lack of interest. The exact maker of the HFM happens to trace back to the RND employee Huffer. Shockwave later innovated upon the design, utilizing its natural energy replenishing to better use it as a weapon should the need arise. In the final years of the war, Hoist took a kind of revenge, as while a recovery team stormed the nemesis in search of Bumblebee’s body, Hoist took an alternative route, seeking to settle his grudge towards Shockwave. Hoist immediently beached the workshop, and opened fire on Shockwave with his shotgun, blowing the Decepticon Scientist’s body apart in the posses. Before firing two further shots into his body, ensuring his death. unbeknownst to anyone at the time, Shockwave had perfected a side project known as the GT System, allowing him to inhabit multiple bodies at once. unluckily for Shockwave, his secondary form was left in a stasis pod elsewhere on the planet, leaving him trapped for the time being.

Breakdown

A bruiser from the back-end of Iacon, can we give a warm welcome to BREAKKK DOWWWNNN! Back before the war set in, Breakdown worked in the entertainment industry as a professional boxer gaining great success as a result of his devastating blows. Unknown to even Breakdown at the time, his punches were aided by an Outlier ability that allowed him to impart horrible migraines after physical contact. His career seemed promising till he ended up on the wrong end of the Stunticon Syndicate. Having refused to take a fall for them, Breakdown was beaten within an inch of his life and told that he belonged to them till he worked off his debt. Begrudgingly, he accepted, becoming the muscle of Motormaster’s security detail. The knowledge of any pickup resulting in his death caused great paranoia in him, something he continues to struggle with well into the war.

Deadend

The Night-Walker! Corpse-Talker! Shell-Stalker! TERROR. Deadend isn’t exactly the kind of person you want to take a drink from. With a former career in splicing, Deadend is known to take empties from the slums and sell their organs for parts on the black market. A truely devilish man, he preaches the idea of Planned Obsolescence, that Primus made them all weak, flawed and doomed to death. He came into cahoots with the syndicate by paying for their protection in exchange for some of his better finds.

Wildrider

Wildrider, aka the "Staniz Slasher" is a brutal serial killer known for leaving his victims gutted and hanging from hooks. Eventually, he was employed by Motormaster following a faked death in SCPD custody, and now serves as the assassin tasked with handling any of the Syndicate's business rivals, as well as its detractors.

Ferret

Forged after the great war, Ferret found himself idolizing one of the 57 Autobots to return home from Earth; Bumblebee. He saw the Scout’s ascendance from a mere soldier to Goldfire, second in command of the Autobots, as an inspiring tale, and one to look up to. Unfortunately for Ferret, he wasn’t exactly fit for duty in the Maxcops. No, instead, Ferret found  himself incredibly skilled at crawling around in small places, as well as technical work. This inspired him to work as a Techie in the Array (a facility made post war to help rebuild society) where he, Twincast and Skyhigh aided in the creation of the Nexus, a new internet of sorts used for planet wide communication. A latter addition to their little team came in the form of a prodigy named Glyph.

Red Alert and Inferno

A relationship as old as the war itself. Red Alert was a security and safety director for Translucentica Heights, a high end apartment complex for the social elite, living out of his office on the first floor. Inferno meanwhile was the Fire Chief for North Iacon. The two originally met when Red Alert made a call about an explosion on the upper levels, which turned out to have been a member of the Intellectual class enacting unsanctioned experimentation with Thiotmoline and Fool’s Energon, resulting in an unintentional IED.

As the years passed, even into the war, the two became increasingly close, to the extent of becoming Conjunx Endura. As the war rached its final years, both Inferno and Red Alert enlisted to the Ark alongside their mutual friend Lift Ticket, and would be marooned on Earth along side 209 other Autobots. Unfortunatly, as is common with war, people die. Lift Ticket was gunned down by a Human organization known as Diaclone, and Red would later meet his end in a chemical explosion along side the EOD specialist, Tailgate. Inferno meanwhile would live to see the end of the war.

Beyblade Burst Rise Is Underrated

I can understand that people wished some older characters appeared, but at the same time I like that there were new characters. You cant keep depending on the older characters to make a season good. I think this season was decent, especially for the little time they had in an episode. One of the best things in this season was Armans character. He’s a new character and is supposed to take the place of Rantaro/Ranjiro as the best friend character. He is different from them though. Rantaro and Ranjiro were solely in the show to be Valt/Aigers best friend. I don’t remember a time when they had their own character arcs that didn’t involve other characters. When it came to Arman he has his own character arc. Throughout the entire show he has had a goal. To bring the glory back to the Victories club and to show that they aren’t just a “rag tag” team. I was sad when he lost his battle against Fumiya, but they showed him wishing he was in Dantes place after. Then he got more character when they went to go visit Pheng. After that he wanted to get hyperflux. Then they showed more of his character during the bey island thingy and I liked that. Sadly he lost that as well, but we all knew that was going to happen. BUT then we got to the tag team arc thingy with Arthur and Gwyn. He trained with Delta. Pushed for Delta and Dante to be a team, but then they let Arman go against Arthur again and won. I loved that. He achieved Hyperflux and helped Dante win the battle. I loved that. Finally a best friend character thats not just the best friend character. I also liked that it was refreshing to have a more positive season. Beyblade Burst Turbo was dark asf. Having a bright new season that was (in my opinion) sort of like season 1 and evolution, was very nice. I also love Dante. He’s so sweet and energetic. I loved seeing the new dynamics between Delta/Valt and Aiger/Dante. Dante and Aiger are a great duo. Valt is a great mentor as well. This season is just very good!!
