Yes! HypnoCon is happening! Let me give you some of the details:

When: Friday, October 11th - October 13th

Where: Best Western Adams Inn Quincy-Boston 29 Hancock Street, Quincy, Massachusetts 02171, United States

The discussions on Saturday and Sunday will take place at the Above the Eagle’s Nest 257 Weybosset St, Providence RI. It is about an hour away from the hotel. The hotel was unable to provide a meeting room.

The cost is free, however donations are appreciated.

Hypnovember Day 19: Elevator

This was one of Zoe's favorite parts of a hypnocon- trading trances with a friend just to see how many creative ideas they could come up with. The only downside (upside?) was that this far into experimentation, they were both REALLY fractionated. The feeling reminded her of giggly slumber parties- when tiredness and manic energy combined into the most absurd, chaotic kinda of fun.

"I have one!" her friend Ivy said, already laughing to herself at her thought.

Zoe shifted, dreading/enjoying her friend's glee.

Ivy raised her hand up to Zoe's gaze and cupped her fingers in a clear, nonverbal gesture: 'focus here'.

After so much fractionation, Zoe felt herself instantly comply.

"Have you ever ridden the Tower of Terror at Disney World?" Ivy asked.

Zoe nodded. She guessed where this was going- preparing herself for a quick, fun drop.

"You don't go down first, of course," Ivy started. "Not from the beginning. What happens first?"

Zoe remembered the Tower from her middle school trip- and the ride's building anticipation.

"You go up," she replied.

Her friend nodded. "You go up," she confirmed. As she spoke, her hand moved upwards.

'But I'm already awake', Zoe thought as she followed the hand.

But her fractionated mind seemed to know exactly what to do. As she focused, she felt herself beginning to gain some energy.

The hand continued rising. "And more up!"

And even more energy. Zoe felt her shoulders straighten.

"And further," said Ivy, animatedly. "Maybe like you've had some espresso."

Zoe felt it. Her gaze kept rising with the hand.

"Even further!" her friend said excitedly.

"Like two shots! Three!"

They hit Zoe- all those shots and she was feeling almost jittery.

"Even more!"

Now Ivy stood up, hand rising even further and faster raising above her head.

Zoe felt herself pulled on her feet too: attention rapt, body engaged, buzzing and curious.

So intensely focused.

Up on her toes now.

"And then- you wait!"

The hand paused.

Zoe stared at it, eagerly.

She knew she couldn't look away.

Somewhere, her body recalled a hovering sensation- precarious and high and anticipating.

"And then..."

A long pause

"DROP!!"

The hand plunged down as Zoe followed it, mind and body instantly collapsing into trance.

Distantly, Zoe felt her friend catch her limp body- cradling her and holding it steady even as she kept falling and falling and

Gosh, so much to choose from...the obvious one who be the Fractionation Race, but you already know that story...

There's that one freeze scene I did, but I'd have to get permission from (very awesome) people... Oooh! There was the time, at a room party, that I got to try out a violet wand for the first time. I don't think that one will breach consent if I don't name names.

(I know, non-hypnotic memory! If it helps, it was Sunday, and so I *did* have a bit of the old fuzzy fractionated Sunday brain going XD)

Now, this was my second in-person con and I was very glad to be coming out of my shell compared to the first one. It was on the Sunday, con had just officially ended, and I was just chilling in my room when I got the invite. My brain went "...one more?"

So after a while of sitting and chatting and watching fun shenanigans happen, I just sort of blurted out something to the effect "so um...how does one get into pain?"

(As I said, this was Sunday, and most of my shyness was well and truly left at the door by this point.)

So the host, their interest piqued, went "right this way!". And, after showing me to their very impressive toy chest, turned to me and went "arm, please".

They started with a Wartenberg wheel first, just to get a feel for it. When I went 'oooh, that feels nice', they went and connected it to the wand.

It was just experimenting, not scene-y at all, but it was still...I dunno, exciting in its own way? It definitely felt like a 'first', if that makes sense.

It was also a very interesting sensation! I'm not into it like I'm into hypnosis, but there's something about it that feels intense in a good way. Kind of like the way a really warm bath or a tight hug feels. I'm famously "a little weird about touch", so I'm always keen to try out how things feel in a safe setting.

Anyway, I learned something about myself that night!

And then later I got to try other sensation things. But that's a story for another time~

Hi Secret do you think you would ever do more hypno 101 style classes mabey going more in depth into ceartin topics?

Listen, I love teaching. I love a good class and I still have all my PowerPoints from all my classes over the years. Like, my 101, my online hypnosis class, my inductions 101 which included a live demo of text hypnosis (yea imagine that it was just as nuts as it sounds), consent for hypnosis (both online and off), my class on domination through hypnosis and my hypnosis creator 101 which covers everything from gear, where to post, how to make an audio, how to edit an audio etc.

So tldr, absolutely. If I do teach it will be livestreamed on my YouTube channel or at an online event which I did stop going to but I miss it a lot and would love to go again. And I only specify online because let's be real, there's no hypnocons in New Zealand and me getting on a plane again will require a LOT of coaxing and meds. 🤣

Charmed! 2025

Y'know, I haven't done a hypnocon write-up in a long while, though I used to do full scene logs way back when. I'm not going to write anything long this time, but I feel the need to post something!

I think this was my seventh Charmed! convention, and going this year felt like going home. Every year I look forward to this con, and every year it proves worth looking forward to! No matter what personal problems try to stand in my way (this year it was a random case of hives that left me itchy all over...). I got to see my friends, hang out, and have a fantastic time! I went to a few classes, much less than in past years, but every one I went to was a fun time as we had such wonderful presenters! The Hypno-Cirque was quite the experience, and I'm tempted to figure out something to sing for it next year.

Over the course of the con, I got a surprising amount of compliments, usually on my outfit, especially when I dressed up Saturday night (and I was convinced to wear that again Sunday night for a room party). I'm really not used to that, and especially not used to people actively telling me I'm hot, so it was nice every time!

I did actually have a scene! I don't do as much pick-up play as I used to, though not for lack of effort, everyone's just always busy with one thing or another. The person I scened with was adorable, eager, and very susceptible, which made for a really fun time! And it was her first con, so I'm glad I could add to her enjoyment of it!

Now when I say going to Charmed! felt like going home... I adore this community. The hypnosis community has always been so welcoming, so open, and so accepting in ways that just make me feel comfortable! I keep up with everyone online, and though I'm admittedly not very active in bigger Discords I do read most everything. But in-person it's so much better! I will always recommend this con to hypno folks, whether or not I know if they can make it!

I have been to hypnocons! It's been a while, probably 6 or 7 years though, lol. Hoping to go to another again someday 🤷🏼‍♀️

I haven't done in person paid sessions. But I do play with my partners in person.

If hypnosis was a pizza, what would be your go to order? (If extra cheese were fractionation etc.)

Is there a class you'd love to attend at a hypnocon that either hasn't been covered or hasn't been offered in a bit?

I just saw I missed this question! But also, what a helpful way to remind people to send me more asks!

So I’ve given thought to the pizza, and weirdly my actual pizza preferences align with my hypnosis preferences: I like the classics. Pepperoni, sausage/fractionation, kinesthetics. I wish all pizzas had pineapple/I wish all hypnosis had amnesia. Sometimes I like the ones with spicy peppers like rope or denial. I’m possibly overextending the metaphor.

Re: cons - I would honestly love to attend the classes that I’ve not taught/led/done in a while! I’m feeling more energetic about Charmed and wish I’d thought to submit more. But I’ll also be happy with that when the weekend arrives and I have actual free time during the day.

Naked HypnoCon 2023

This year, HypnoCon was located in Palm Springs, California. Friday we first gathered at The Toolshed Bar which was incredibly packed with men. Everyone was eventually found and we sat outside for a few drinks as friends and new attendants met. After that, we went to dinner at Grand Central. Then some of the people went to other bars, the rest decided to stay at resort, the El Mirasol Resort, a clothing-optional resort with a hot tub and a couple of pools. I thought I would be self-conscious about it, however THAT quickly went away.

Saturday morning, we met at the LBGT Community Center. And for introductions we gave the name we preferred to be called, how many HypnoCon’s we’ve attended, and if we were a hypnotist, subject, or switch. There were a few new faces. The learning session began at the very beginning, hypnosis 101. From Pre-talk, to Induction, to Deepening, to Suggestion, to Reentry, to Post-talk, each step of a typical hypnosis session for recreational purposes was discussed and demonstrated. Some very good subjects sat in the front of the group and experienced each part firsthand. I did deepening, which included convincers. I ran out of different deepening techniques, so I made a new one – silence. 

            The group moved on to some of the history of HypnoCon, how it started, and the reason it keeps moving around. From the @gayhypnosis channel in the past, a few names stood out as pillars of that channel. One of those people was Hypnojob (his handle now) AKA EnTranceU (his handle in the @gayhypnosis channel). He talked about those days and moving to newer forms of electronic communication such as Discord and Skype. He does have a Skype Hypnosis Chat Room. I just joined it and it does bring back memories of the @gayhypnosis channel. If you want to explore, first be very interested in hypnosis, and second reach out to @Hypnojob on Skype to request an invitation to the group. Some great questions regarding the typical session and recreational hypnosis in general flew as we concluded, took the “wish you were here” photo, and then went to lunch. Most of us went to Denny’s – this was not a high point. 

            HypnoCon continued after lunch with an exercise to demonstrate fractionation. People who want to experience fractionation as a subject sat in a circle facing outward. The people that wanted to show fractionation as a hypnotist proceeded to induce trance and then fractionation. Since we had about 30 people, the process took a bit of time, however, there were some people who experienced deep trance. I got to be the subject for a demonstration of the “Yes” induction method. I think I got through seven or eight “yeses” before collapsing into a deep trance and then being brought out of the trance way too quickly! Some toys that hypnotists can use are shown next from pendulums to pocket watches, to a “mind machine” that uses flashing LED lights at specific frequency of flashes to bring trance. Some of the participants played with the toys. We then departed to get ready for dinner, which was at Billy Reeds. Dinner tasted wonderful and we then disbanded for the evening. I personally took more naked time at the hot tub where a couple of fun things happened. First, I got into a staring contest with a fellow hypnotist. I started to wonder who the hypnotist was, until he said, “You are getting very relaxed.” 

            “Oh, I guess, I’m the subject.” I thought and proceeded to go into a nice deep trance where the water relaxed me even more. The other wonderful thing is that a subject proceeded to be hypnotized by me using a non-verbal induction for the first time. That was quite the ego boost!

            The next morning, we ate brunch at Sherman’s Deli. We, and by “we,” I mean most of the people who organized this event, decided to forgo the usual discussion on which city to go next and opted instead for a different approach. Searching cruise vacations, we found the from Boston, a cruise that travels north so that people can watch the foliage turn colors, departs the Sunday of Hypnocon. So, the proposal became that HypnoCon goes to Boston next year, and have the usual Friday and Saturday. On Sunday though, the gathering continues as it does with an informal group setting at the host hotel so that more specialized topics can be discussed and shown in small groups or begin the above-mentioned cruise. The idea was ratified by a general proclamation (nobody complained too loudly), and we then went back to the resort for some small group discussion and generally be laid back and, of course, naked.

Kink Advent Day 1 - Yo-Yo

Hypnovember is over, finished, which means your Tumblr feeds are empty for once. Or are they???

I woke up and went to my office on Friday morning to find a piece of paper on my desk that said "Happy December! Check Tumblr." So I did - and it turns out Kink Advent begins! (I had no idea.) And I'm writing this a few hours after being dropped repeatedly, and let me tell you, I felt heavy. I know that's one of the tropey things but this time we didn't use the Nova Pro or anything, it was just her and words, and I'm still feeling some of it. Anyway, on to the post.

Apparently Kink Advent lasts the whole month (!) and there were drawers upstairs I needed to explore to participate. Today's item? A dog clicker we bought years ago. @dommestic has been reading various books including The Brainwashing Book, which means... I don't know. It's just the first day so far.

After work I was summoned to the bedroom and place in the chair, and I wasn't sure what was to happen - and to be honest, I'm a little fuzzy on it now. Sometimes hypnosis play is like walking in the desert while dragging a broom behind you. Can you remember things? Sure - for a while. But the broom dragging a few feet behind you slowly cleans up your footprints. It started off with me being told to sort of stare off at the wall at no specific point, and she was talking to me but I wasn't paying attention to any one specific point or word as I just started to drop... I know the crystal made an appearance but it was dark, and cold, and I just melted into the chair. Hard. I assumed I'd need a blanket or something to keep warm, but no, my arms were like lead at my side and I didn't want to move after a while. I know my lips parted and I kept waking up and being dropped, and the clicker was incredibly loud since our bedroom is almost disturbingly quiet. I know she got me worked up a bit, and after she brought me up she seemed worked up a bit. Long story longer, we were late out the door to get dinner.

I'm really curious to see what else happens with the clicker. Will I be trained? Stay tuned! Because I don't know.

Echo got something from an adult store in the mail, and I was able to find out roughly how big the box was and where it came from. How, you ask? UPS, USPS, and FedEx let you make an account that shows when a tracking number to your address has been created. While the item she bought came in discreet packaging that did not name the store on the box or shipping label, USPS Informed Delivery let me know who sent it, and that it was a small box. As the season of gift-giving and surprises come up, that may be something you'll want to keep in mind as you ship goods to friends, family, or that cutie you saw at that one hypnocon.

I also have no idea what was in the box. She's very good at bringing surprises to our life.

Hey love your work, random question but what is Charmed, it's like a convention right? Wa sjust curious since I looked it up and just wanted to hear some experience about what it is like and how it is since I can't really find much about peoples experience with it or previous stuff held at them.

Hey! So great question @charmedhypno is an erotic hypnosis convention which is held in person and online in January every year. If you aren't already go follow them and check out their website for more infromation.

I've been to two in person and two online (maybe three?) Charmed's so far and I have to say it's my favourite hypnocon to attend. It's pretty big from what I have heard if you go in person and everytime I have been it has been super welcoming and inviting to be at. My wife and I used to get a room at the hotel the con was held at and I would highly recommend this for anyone looking to get really invested in the weekends activities as it makes it super easy to get from your room to the classes and events on the con floor.

Some of my fave charmed moments include:

-The MASSIVE brainwashing session I got to do with Lee Allure. It was epic and so fun to do an inperson event like that. I heard we brainwashed over 100 people that day, so it makes me smile to remember.

-All the cool classes I have gotten to see. Everytime I go I learn something new about hypnosis or kink in general and that is more then worth ticket price.

-Meeting a bunch of my hypnopeeps in person as well as getting to chat to people who like what I do. That is always so fun and it's a little nerve wrecking being recognised, but also very flattering. Everyone I have had the chance to meet has been nothing but kind.

-The femme flirt. Now I am not sure if this is still a thing, but even though my wife and I are very monogamous it was just so fun to go to and hang out with other queer ladies (and femme folks). It was always a blast.

-Cards against humanity (and getting a noise complaint or two apparently). Yes, I have ADHD and yes my ADHD friends and I are loud so maybe once or twice we did get a noise complaint after a very lively game of CAH in the hotel room.

So follow charmed and if you are looking to dip a toe into the con scene, this is a great event to attend and highly recommended from me!

Just like in 2022, Charmed! 2023 is going to be both online and in-person, but we are taking things up a notch from last year’s con!
