So i remember an ask mentioning your mortal enemy, Felis Atra and their cats, and i thought it'd be fun to draw what Felis Atra's version of your italian dogs would be.

I think they would be called Butter Knife and Flamengo! Butter Knife is not his real name, it's an nickname given by his peers because of how harmless he is. I choose Flamengo because that's the name of Vasco's rival football team here in Brazil, so i thought that was the perfect name :)

Cat Machete was slightly inspired by the Oriental Shorthair cat because of their long noses and thin head shape.

Cat Vasco was inspired by the Scottish Fold cat, because FLOPPY EARS. I gave Flamengo longer ears and orange fur to make him more like his look-alike.

The last doodle is a reference to this ask (https://canisalbus.tumblr.com/post/728923918314946560/me-i-am-machete-ear-fan-number-1-those-ears) and contains the tumblr ask stand-in dog, whose cat version was inspired by the American Curl cat! They have round ears that are slightly floppy outwards.

Final notes: I know cardinal clothes don't come in vibrant blue, but i was ADAMANT on switching Machete's and Vasco's clothing color patterns. I would draw the rest of Butter Knife's and Flamengo's clothes, but i suck at designing cool outfits.

Speaking of outfits, for Machete's iconic void outfit, i figured it would be fun to make it more baggy for Butter Knife, in contrast to Machete's, that looks very tight-fitted. I think it's cute, it kinda looks like a sweater. Also i can't imagine a Machete doppelganger without high heels boots, so those HAD to stay.

Oh, and just to be clear, i'm not like, claiming ownership of these guys or anything. I just thought it would be a fun exercise. Hope you like them!! I love your art and your characters.

long answer since i discussed this so im also adding all my reasoning ramblings here

as you can definitely tell, most of what i write is bokris and in any dynamic where bojan is involved i prefer him to be topped. this isnt for any meaningful reason its just personal preference and definitely a lot of projecting, what can i say

the kris that ive made up in my head also just. isnt much of a bottom? as in the way that i characterise him in whatever au im writing, hes a combination of control freak and not liking the dynamic of it or hes just straight up not into it. no special reason, just doesnt like it. (which is originally where that holidate "just bc youre gay doesnt mean you have to like it" thing came from except i changed it later bc i can do whatever i want with my muppets)

mostly that stems from how i first saw him be characterised when i started reading jo fics and like this is super subjective bc i definitely didnt read all that was out there so dont take this as an accurate account of what this fandoms ao3 looked 1½ years ago, but it felt to me like most of the smut that involved him had him bottom and in the sluttiest ways possible which honestly, you write whatever you want to im not your boss, but it felt like a lot of it also had strong undertones of "he looks kinda femme and has a nice ass so he must be the woman* in the relationship!" like it felt so strongly like outdated gender roles projected onto gay rpf fanfic. which just. makes me run into the opposite direction as fast as i can.

and as if a woman couldnt top her man in a cishet relationship but i digress.

thats also the reason why, when i wrote the holidate bonus chapters with kris in lingerie and him bottoming, they werent in the same one bc i didnt like the potential interpretation of "oh he dresses like a woman* now so thats why hes the one getting fucked now"

first of all the top being all pretty and dressed up while still being super dominant is hot as hell so jot that down

How Does it work? Like is it just, Holly write Childe in a bunny suit, Holly what would Childe be in a- why didn’t I pick bunny suit? (Man ok ya that would be something else to deal with copy and pasted)

ugh it’s a little frustrating but nothing we’ve never seen before, so it’s not all that but let me explain

basically, i received an ask a while back when i was still “active” on my nsfw blog and it was rather demanding in tone (for lack of a better word), more or less consisting of “i need [these 8 characters (separately)] with [this scenario] pls pls pls”

call me petty but for several reasons it ticked me off; 1) i think the tone is not it, as i said it feels kinda demanding and i don’t feel respected as a human (goes back to the whole “i’m not a writing bot but a person with feelings” argument), there’s no acknowledgment of past writing or so much as a hello

2) 8 characters in separate scenarios is a lot to ask for, especially considering the length in which i usually write a character’s scenario for, some people might be able to crank that out but i’m not; i know in my first post on there i had like 6 or 7 characters but that was of my own volition bc i was inspired, which makes a big difference

3) i don’t take requests

so yeah, the ask itself wasn’t received very well by me in the first place and i just sent to a group of writer friends basically going ‘is it petty of me to have negative feelings about this or am i misreading the tone here’

and we all just kinda came to the conclusion that it is the kind of request/ask someone would copy and paste into several writers’ inboxes, whether that’s because they just want their scenario written out or whatever, i don’t really understand the motivation behind it

and it seems we were correct because i happened to be scrolling through the tags for that fandom and saw the exact same ask, word for word, from roughly the same time period too; the writer seemed to have been happy about receiving it and wrote a paragraph each and it seems to have been well received, so i’m not here to take that away from them in any way

it just personally rubs me the wrong way but, at the end of the day, those are just my feelings on the matter

anyway, take away: be nice and appreciate your writers when they go out of their way to grant your request; be nice to them in general hehe ^^
