Don't mind me, I'll just be rambling about my fnaf AU down below.

Okay so, back in january 2024 @blue-sunflower-bee and I have been talking about headcanons for Abby and Ness. Specifically about them recreating the fnaf musical. When i made some silly little doodles for their headcanons, I actually got very inspired to make my own AU based off these headcanons.

And so I created my very own

FNaF the Musical x FNaF Movie AU

Sadly I never posted anything about this AU since I got too embarrassed to even talk about it. I've stopped working on it before I even started. Now that the second movie will come out soon, I wanted to revive this AU and actually do stuff with it! :)

Here is what I have gathered so far:

• The story of this AU takes place after the first movie, while Vanessa is still in a coma

• After the events at Freddy's, Mike and Abby often go out for dinner at Sparky's. This is where they meet their lovely waiter, Ness

• Neither Mike nor Ness were interested in befriending each other at first. But as time went on, and Mike and Abby became regulars, they did develop some kind of friendship

• When Mike would have to go to work, he would ask Ness to babysit Abby. Ness would always agree since he gets along well with Abby. (Also Mike always promising Ness that he will pay him back soon, but Ness really doesn't mind spending his evenings taking care of Abby)

• Ness used to be a huge Freddy's fan. He owns a lot of Freddy's merch, from keychains and posters to masks and plushies. Not just that, but he also made LOTS of theories about the murders at Freddy's

• Mike and Abby would still visit Vanessa a lot, hoping she will wake up soon. Mike would eventually tell Ness about Vanessa and about the fact that he used to work at Freddy's for a week. He may have also accidentally mentioned to Ness that the owner of Freddy's is the murderer and the guy kidnapped and murdered his brother

• Ness doesn't fully believe Mike on that last part, so instead of just dropping it and continue living his life, Ness went back to all his theories on the murder cases, trying to connect the dots

This is all I will give y'all for now. I do have a lot more for this au, but i want to make sure everything i have so far will actually fit with the lore. :)

Quick Summary of what the story is about: Mike and Abby go to Sparky's, befriend Ness after some time and soon after Mike would tell Ness about what happened to him, Abby and Vanessa at Freddy's. Ness, who is obsessing with Freddy's and it's history of murders cases, breaks into freddy's every night, steals some stuff, and looks for evidince to back up his theories. While all that he thinks he can hear voices of the people that have died in that pizzeria and so he slowly goes insane.

As much as I love securitywaiter/dreamtheory, this ship will not be canon in this AU 😞 Am I still going to make ship art of them even tho i just said they're not canon? Absolutely.

Maybe if i learn how to write, i might make a comic about this AU

The insane ramblings of a mad man! (Me)

Animator Swap AU!

Note: Most of the drawings in the second image sadly are no longer canon to the au, but i did draw a few new ones you'll probably be seeing a few paragraphs down :D

Long post incoming, do be warned 💀

So, the basic idea of this au is..fairly simple, actually-- as much as i struggled thinking of a good, solid concept for it :'D

As the name suggests, the biggest change is that Alan and Grace are swapped, but, well- not quite..

You see! Their personalities remain more or less the same, but the stickfigures they made are swapped- go simple enough visual representation!

Basically, the idea is: "What if Alan made Mitsi and Grace made the Hollowheads?"

To explain this further: Alan would have treated Mitsi primarily the way he treated Victim and Chosen.

Grace, on the other hand, would have treated the hollowheads far better than Alan did in canon, leading to an entirely different outcome for their character arcs! (Although i'm thinking of having Victim and Grace have a rocky start for,, reasons, but i'll expand on that in a different post, probably)

Anyway, as a result, Mitsi would probably look something like this at the time of her escape:

Also, i'd send in an image of the hollowheads too but uh...they don't really have designs or any art yet lol...rip :')

I was planning on explaining far more thoroughly, but i got a little sidetracked and didn't have time to expand this too much.

To at least somewhat make up for my messy ass brain, here are some ideas i'm planning (key word) to solidify into the canon aswell!

-After Mitsi escapes the PC, Alan doesn't draw/animate another stickman for years after. Then i'm thinking he either draws Purple or the guy just kind of,, shows up on his PC one day and after a tentative truce makes the minecraft village there instead of on the Mac (which could potentially lead to the cg meeting Alan aswell?)

-Victim leaves the PC before or recently after Chosen is created, accidentally ending up in the village from his canon backstory and becoming a farmer there.

-Chosen is mute, and i'm thinking he later becomes a sign language interpreter :D (i'm thinking they'll all get regular or semi regular professions since they'd actually get to grow up properly and have childhood and stuff,,, and absolutely no one has any cursor induced trauma whatsoever! Victim? Haha, who's Victim?)

-I was originally thinking of making Dark a Gordon Ramsey style chef, but i feel like i should make him a programmer/hacker of some kind instead LOL

-Orange helps Grace out with her animations in this au aswell! He also has a lot of independent projects of his own :]

-Orange and the cg still eventually end up being the only permanent residents on Grace's pc, with Dark and Chosen visiting fairly often while Victim visits more scarcely. For some reason, he seems a little bit anxious around Grace.. (also yes they're all probably gonna have different names, excluding the animators)

-I'm thinking of calling Mitsi either Mayday or Malice!

-I'm thinking Mitsi crashes/escapes to the village where Victim is. Victim befriends Mitsi pretty fast. They let her stay at their farm and Mitsi helps out pn the farm in return.

-Agent and the mercs will probably be in this au aswell!! I'm just not sure when and how to include them yet.

early draft Bob Velseb Fanfic

(im still working on a small comic to accompany this fic before i release it officially, but i would appreciate the feedback, so dont hesitate to comment as it encourages me to make more art for the au. This comic takes place after the events of this post.) For reference, the woman in this image next to bob is Mary-Anne

then in this image, from left to right (no including Bob in the middle) we have Roxy, Greta, Sparrow, Ash, Trixie, Jane (who's the bar's manager and doesn't appear in the fic), and Billie (who is the bar's bouncer)

Fic is below the readmore. And I kinda recommend looking back at the images every so often to keep track of who's who, cus there's a lot of lesbians hanging out chatting in this fic.

Hanging out in the mismatched collection of old sofas in the lounge area of the local lesbian bar, some of the bar’s regulars were having a casual chat. When another of the regulars, a woman named Mary-Anne, excitedly came up to the group with a laptop in hand. Mary: “Hey you girls wanna see my latest true crime theory?! I think I've got a really good one this time!” Sparrow: “YEEEEAAAAHhhhhhh! Lemme see it! Show us what detective work ya been up to!” Trixie: “Did you finally see if I’ve done any murders I didn't know about? You said you’d check.” Mary: “Yeah I know, and I'll get to it eventually, but I found something way more interesting…… Barbra.” Sparrow: “Barbra?” Mary: “Yeah!” She sets up the laptop on the table, the women all crowding around to get a look, as Mary-Anne puts on a dramatic, though still a bit joking, tone and pose.

Mary: “Barbra, could secretly be, the notorious serial killer…. Bob Velseb.”

Ash: “Who?” Sparrow: “No fucking way! The Halloween cannibal from that other town down south? How’ed you make that connection?”

Roxy: “Excuse me, Cannibal?!”

Ash: “That’s pretty metal actually. Wish looking into me found connections to crimes that sick.” Greta: “Ummm, isn’t that man dead?”

Sparrow: “Wait yeah good point. The news said he got caught and killed by police last Halloween night. Shouldn't that be like, disqualifying for what hypothetical crimes you think your friends might have committed?”

Mary: “Wellllll…. yeah, supposedly he even had an autopsy and everything. But It fits too well if you just ignore the whole being dead thing!”

Roxy: “Hey! Don't you buncha freaks go just comparing Barbra to people like that. She hasn't even been around that long. Don't need you scaring her off with your true crime detective mess when I know you didn't even ask if she was okay with it first!”

Mary: “But it's suuuuuuuch a good one though!”

Trixie: “Yeah lighten up, I doubt she's gonna mind. I mean it's not like Barbara is actually gonna be a DEAD criminal. And especially with those morbid jokes she likes, she'll probably think it's hilarious.”

Roxy: “Nuh-Uh! I don't care how funny it is. She's still doing this without asking! It's one thing for her to look into yalls lives like a creepy stalker when you ask her to. But don't you go encouraging her with that spying into people's business shit without permission!”

Mary: “Aww come on.”

Ash: “Okay, I'm actually gonna agree with Roxy here. I mean what if one day, I really have to murder someone? I don't need Sherlock Holmes getting on my trail ten minutes later. You could at least ask first.”

Sparrow: “Come on, that's different! I'm sure you'd have a good reason if you did ever murder someone. And she'd be more likely to help you bury the body than turn you in. We all would.”

Roxy: “Nuh-uh, I still don't like this biz. Plus, isn't Barbra a trans woman? You'd probably end up hurting her feelings more by comparing her to a dead MAN than to the whole criminal thing.”

Sparrow: “Wait, since when was Barbra trans?”

Ash: “She was kinda making it obvious with that wig she always wears.”

Sparrow: “Wait really? I thought she was wearing the wig because she had some grizzly scar or something on her head from the car crash and didn't want to call attention to it. I mean they did say she had a bad head injury. Like it's why they said she's always wearing the sunglasses even when inside. The concussion like, messed up her ability to look directly at bright lights or something.”

Ash: “...Yeah okay that's a fair point I didn't need to immediately jump to her wearing the wig being to make her pass better. But like, there's still a lot of stuff besides that. Plus Caprica admitted to it. Barbra definitely used to be a dude.”

Greta: “Doesn't really matter if she's trans regardless, since she only ever really flirts with Caprica.”

Trixie: “I'd fuck her even with a dick like are you fucking kidding me? She's hot as hell.”

Sparrow: “Oh my god same! I swear Barbra is wasted on that woman.”

Roxy: “Yeah, but like, I ain't gonna pretend I wouldn't get a massive crush too if some lady pulled my fat ass out of a burning car wreck and lemme stay at her place while I recover like Caprica did. That's like some fairytale relationship shit.”

Trixie: “Exactly! if I got my life saved all dramatically by someone who's not just gay, but gay AND single ANNND they let you stay at their house for free? I wouldn't even care if they were hot or not. You'd have to be a real big piece of shit to be getting rid of me anytime soon. I'd be grabbing on with both hands. Maybe not as hard as Barbra seems to be, but still.”

Greta: “Umm, I meant more that she's not pressuring anybody, so it wouldn't matter either way what she has.”

Mary: “We're getting off topic! I wanna talk about my cool theory!”

Ash: “Right, right, let's hear it.”

Roxy: “Let's NOT hear it! She didn't ask Barbra for permission!”

Sparrow: “Well since she's already put it together, the least we could do is go over it and let her know if it'd be a mistake to tell Barbra and hurt her feelings. Like if it is something really insulting, it would be better to act like it never happened right?”

Roxy folds her arms and grumbled, but otherwise stops complaining. Letting Mary-Anne get on with it.

Tapping on her laptop for a second before turning it around to show a PowerPoint style compilation of research and pictures, starting with Bob's prison mugshot, which the ladies leaned in to see.

Mary: “So here's what I found. So we've got this Bob Velseb guy right? Notorious cannibal serial killer, captured on Halloween night a few years ago and put in prison.”

Billie: “....Did you really make a whole presentation for this?”

Mary: “I told you, it's a really good one! And I had to keep my evidence somewhere anyway. So it's like a digital scrapbook, and I just cleaned it up some to show you.”

Trixie, with a bit of a teasing tone: “Becha wish you could make a whole corkboard setup with red yarn instead.”

Mary: “I sooooooo would, but it’s just too hard to fit that sort of thing in my car and drive it around. You all gotta come meet at my house so I can have the excuse to set up a real one!” Billie: “....Amateur detective potluck.” Mary: “Omg yes. With like a bunch of detective based desserts! Sparrow: Chalk outline chocolate cookies!

Ash: “Halloween coleslaw.” Roxy, through half muffled snickering: “Girl, the fuck is halloween coleslaw??” Mary: “We’re getting off track! Back to what I was saying…”

She switches to the next slides showing clips from newspapers and the like.

Mary: “So he stays in prison for awhile. But then last year, he escapes from prison with a few other small time criminals.

And he spends a few months killing people, like 8 or 9 bodies being found, all with the same M - O. Until Halloween night comes around again. He goes after the same family he got caught while trying to kill that other Halloween. And it leads to an encounter with the police who kill him in a shootout. Where he's brought to the morgue for an autopsy and has the cause of death confirmed…..

BUT!!!”

She changes to the next slide, which was talking about a car crash, a man found dead, and had a map with some areas marked in mspaint.

Mary: “The next day after the news report of Mr. Velseb’s death goes out, we have this weird little event happen. So there’s this man, who was supposedly on his way to a hunting trip? He's found stabbed to death on the side of the road here.”

She zooms in on the map, showing the road between this town and the weird little town where Bob comes from, and points to the marked location just past the outskirts of Bob's town.

Mary: “Now wild animals had gotten to the corpse before it was found, so it was pretty mangled, but he had definitely been stabbed. Which is a bit of evidence that could link to the knife wielding serial killer. Bob Velseb, also known as the devil butcher, so named because he used to be a butcher and ended up feeding his victims to his patrons.”

Roxy: “Oh, no, ew why'd you have to go and tell me that?”

Mary: “Well I had to give you the context that this is a guy who stabs people, so we should be looking for stuff like this where the victim was stabbed.”

Roxy: “You could've just said he stabs people!”

Mary: “Well, he also tends to butcher and eat people so we gotta keep an eye out for…”

Billie, in her slightly monotone, but firm voice: “Maybe cool it with the gruesome details.” 

Mary: “Alright alright. It's not super relevant right now anyway, since it looks to me like the guy was in too much of a rush anyway to actually butcher anyone. Because the interesting thing for us…. is this man's truck.”

She points to a location further down the road, on the outskirts of their own town/small city and close to one of the parks.

Mary: “His truck… was found here. Crashed into a ditch, blood all over the inside of it, but no body. So if it had been a regular crash, then the hunter's body should have been right here with his car, not all the way back here covered in stab wounds. So according to the evidence, he was stabbed to death here, had his car stolen by someone who looked to be pretty injured themselves, which was then driven all the way here… to our town.”

Roxy: “Guuuurl…. Shut the hell up! That is sinister as fuck! You're telling me we've got somethin coming up from that creepy ass missing kids town, to over where we live? Man I don't even care if it happened the day after some big time serial killer died. That should still be a big ass problem!”

Mary: “Don't worry, it gets even better!”

Billie: “I think you mean worse.” 

Mary: “Yeah! It gets even worse! So in the days after this body was found up until now, the number of murders went way up for about a month or so. With the bodies matching Bob Velsebs usual modus operandi. Showing up stabbed and mangled with pieces missing. With even a few cops getting killed in that time! 

And then after that, even though there weren't any more bodies being found, the number of missing persons still stayed higher. Almost like a murderer who used to work out in the open….  was now covering his tracks.”

Trixie: “That's spooky as hell! Why's this the first time I'm hearing about somebody out there killing people??”

Billie gave a bit of a knowing look as she explained: “Because what we're listening to is a conspiracy. She's not seeing the evidence and working from it, she's made a theory first and is putting together all the information that supports the theory. That's how these true crime conspiracies work. It's good for a spooky campfire story, but there's a reason why the actual detectives aren't saying the same thing and telling the local news to spread the word.”

Roxy: “Man, you're just gonna be working me up over nothing then.”

Mary: “Not REALLY nothing, this stuff has actually happened.”

She then pitches her voice low and spooky for emphasis.

Mary: “And who knows, maybe there really was a cover up with the serial killer not actually being killed.”

Sparrow: “Yeah! Don't be a spoilsport! So like, so…. Like… uhhh… so how does this stuff have anything to do with Barbra though? Like you're saying the death of this Bob guy was a cover up, but how does this connect to Barbra?”

Mary: “Well first up, their descriptions are very similar. Barbra has the right height and build for…”

Billie: “How tall did they say this Velseb guy was?”

Mary: “Uhhh….”

She flipped through the presentation back to the mugshot 

“6 foot 4.”

Billie: “Yeah, that's about right for Barbra.”

Showing her experience as a bouncer with being able to judge people's height from comparing them to their ID's.

Mary: “Right! Hair color, skin, build, even the accents match too.”

Sparrow: “Cool! That's already way better than when you tried to link me to any murders!”

Mary: “I know right!”

Greta: “Still, that's just looking like a dead serial killer. If you're only going based off of just happening to know someone who matches the description, that could still lead to hurt feelings.”

Mary: “But that's the thing, it's not only looking the same. Like for instance, think about how Barbara and Caprica said they met.”

Billie: “.... A car accident.”

Mary: “Right! And what started off this whole uptick in violent crime? This guy getting killed, getting his truck stolen, then whoever stole it crashing the truck into a ditch on the outskirts of the town.”

Trixie: “That's not the same type of accident they described in how they met though.”

Mary: “Yeah, but any good cover story has an element of truth in it.”

Ash: “So you're basically saying, that Caprica pulled somebody out of a wreck, who turned out to be a cannibal serial killer that the cops covered up the death of. And who instead of cannibal serial killing her, fell head over heels in love, and now…. what, they're like a serial killer power couple or something? So is Caprica secretly a serial killer now too?”

Mary: “Weeeeeeeelllllllll…. Kinda? Yeah? I mean, turns out, Capricas actually kinda legit been through some horrible stuff in real life. Buuuuut I'm not so sure about talking about that stuff since it, you know, actually 100% happened to her.”

Trixie: “Shit, so you're saying she actually has some kind of excuse for how trying to make smalltalk with her, makes her look like she's offended you even thought to try and speak to her?

It's not like… you know. Because of some guy…. Right?”

Mary: “No, no, nothing like that.”

Greta: “Well… you might as well tell us since we've come this far.”

Mary: “....Okay. Just a sec.”

She goes to the laptop, clicks open a web browser, and takes a moment to look up the right event.

Mary: “Okay, so over a decade ago, there was this thing that happened at a campsite near here, where this big elk supposedly ate something bad, like old rat poison from the 70s or something, which made it freak out and go on a violent rampage where it gored a bunch of campers to death.”

She steps back to show an old newspaper clipping with a picture of Caprica and a bunch of young scouts.

Mary: “Caprica was one of the few survivors, who also saved a bunch of cub scouts by having them climb a tree where the elk couldn't reach them.”

Sparrow: “Hold on, I actually recognize this one! That's the state record for the single most people killed in a single day due to an animal attack! So Caprica was one of the people involved in it the whole time? That's wild!”

Ash: “From hero to serial killer….. That's pretty brutal of her…. Nice.”

Sparrow: “Of course the lady who still dresses goth every day even though she's pushing 40 would have that be the takeaway here.”

Ash: “I know what I'm about.”

Trixie: “That still seems like a bit of a reach though.”

Billie: “I’ll reiterate. This is a conspiracy theory being made up for fun. It's going to be full of reaches.”

Trixie: “No I mean, Barbra is absolutely crazy for that girl. Like remember that one time? (comic about bob drowning his sorrows in liquor because caprica had to go to a doctors appointment and he couldn't come along.) Trixie: “It just seems disproportionate to fall that hard after a life of murder and cannibalism, to Caprica of all people.”

Sparrow: “You literally just said a few minutes ago if you were in Barbara's position getting your life saved, they wouldn't be able to get rid of you if they tried.”

Trixie: “What, am I suddenly not allowed to embellish a little? But I mean, come on, haven't you seen the two of them enough? Heck, starting out I was more worried that Caprica was like… like she didn't even want to be in a relationship?”

Ash: “I always got the opposite impression personally, like she was taking advantage of Barbra. She's always acting so mean to her. Like with us she's at least trying to be polite, but not so much with Barb. I've been trying to keep an eye for any other red flags like that, but Barbra’s never seemed to mind soooo….”

Greta: “Hey now, let's not start implying Caprica is abusive. It's clear she's done a lot for Barbra, however begrudgingly. Even coming to the bar all these times. It's clear Caprica isn't doing it because she enjoys clubbing. Barbara's always been the one having the most fun.”

Roxy: “Yeah, let's not have this get out of hand with all these accusations.”

Mary: “And more importantly, I want better feedback on my theory! I mean of all the reasons why it could be wrong, I'd hope for better than something like “Barbra is acting way too crazy to have POSSIBLY been a deranged cannibal serial killer.”

Sparrow: “That Barbra is a certified freak 7 days a week and I love that for her.”

Roxy: “Forget about Barbra, I still don't like the thought that some cannibal serial killer has come over from that town with all the spooky shit going on and is around here terrorizing people!”

Billie: “Once again, she's not following the evidence, she's inventing a ghost story and then finding scary evidence to support the narrative while leaving out any conflicting evidence or context. If it were genuinely something to worry about, this wouldn't be your first time hearing about it.”

Trixie: “Plus it can’t actually be the cannibal serial killer guy, he's super dead.”

Mary-Anne, with a bit of a mischievous tone as she leaned in back to her presentation: “.....You know, I actually found some cell phone video of the guy getting run over I can show everyone.”

To which Billie the bouncer stood up sharply and said: “Nope. Putting my foot down. New rule. No snuff films in the bar.”

Before closing the lid of the laptop.

Mary: “Awwww what? No!”

Trixie: “Killjoy.”

Ash, clearly sarcastic and kidding around: “Yeah, no watching the brutal deaths of serial killers in a bar? What are you, homophobic or something?”

Mary: “It's actually a pretty funny video without much gore or anything. The guy gets run over by a car like 4 times in a row. Like a loony toons character.”

Billie: “I don't care how funny it is, that's the sort of stuff that can get the business in trouble.”

Roxy: “But can't we make an exception this time? I'd feel a lot better for sure knowing that guy is dead.”

Billie replies as she straightens out her pants and shirt: “It's almost time for me to start my shift, so might be best to just call it quits here.”

Mary-Anne went back to the laptop to scroll through the list of images she'd gathered for people either missing or dead.

Mary: “Awww, but I didn't even get a chance to go through the list of victims yet.”

Greta: “No, she's right. I think we've seen enough. I doubt this is anything we should be letting Barbra see. Let's just stop here before…”

Sparrow: “Wait. Scroll back up.”

Mary-Anne did as asked, scrolling a bit up again and upon seeing it Sparrows eyes got wide, and she covered her mouth in shock. Prompting a few of the others to look as well. Getting a similar look of surprise.

Ash: “Oh, wow.”

Mary: “What? What is it?”

Ash: “You weren't there that day. So you wouldn't know. But that one?”

She points at a certain picture of a man on the screen.

Ash: “That's one of the guys who grabbed Caprica that day.”

The silence hangs in the air for a moment.

Mary: “This guy?”

Ash: “Yep.”

Trixie: “Okay that's spooky. But one guy going missing is a coincidence at best. Especially the kind of guy who'd behave like he and that other jerk did. I bet he's asking for a fight everywhere he goes. So let's not jump to conclusions. Maybe if they both went missing that might be a…”

Mary: “Well let's see! What did the other one look like?”

She said with a bit of excitement, scrolling through the rest of her list of missing persons.

Billie:“.... He looked like that.”

Mary: “Huh?”

Billie stepped over, and used the laptop trackpad to scroll a bit upwards, then pointed at a specific picture in the list of missing persons. The picture of the second guy who had tried to hit on Caprica that night.

Mary: “Thats him.”

The air hung still for a moment, the weight of the realization sinking in. Trixie Being the first to break the silence with,

Trixie: “..... Well shit, Barbra and Caprica might actually be some kind of serial killers.”

Another moment of silence, until

Ash: “.....Good for them.” The humor of the response breaking the tension with an indignant, though slightly giggly response of Sparrow: “Ash! Oh my god!”

Ash: “What? Am I supposed to be upset that a pair of creeps who snuck into a gay bar and try to sexually harass the shortest lesbian they could find in the club, and right in front of her girlfriend no less, have gone missing? Good riddance if you ask me.”

Sparrow looked between the women nervously before her gaze settled on Billie: “For real though, should we… call someone about this?” Mary: “What happened to helping bury the bodies?”

Trixie: “Would probably be burying Barbra if you sent the police after her.”

Sparrow: “What?” Trixie: “Seriously, what the fuck do you think would happen if we called up the police and told them that a lesbian trans woman MIGHT be involved in the disappearance of two men? And not only that, but that we’re suspicious of her being involved in their disappearance because she got into a fight with these two dudes when they tried to “correct a woman from the deviancy of homosexuality”. You might as well be broadcasting “Hey dudes! Free target practice over here! Feel free to shoot this woman as many times as you want, because no jury is going to condemn you for murdering a butch trans woman!” to almost every trigger happy misogynist dirtbag in town.” Greta: “I knew this was going to be a mistake….”

Announcement/personal update/vent post/Idk

Hi guys!

I've kinda tried avoiding making a post like this, because I'm trying not to overshare about my personal life here or seem like an attention seeker, but as things have kinda escalated lately and I don't want to disappear without any explanation, I'm going to shed some light as to why I took the short break from Tumblr last month in the first place.

As it is, my mental health has been deteriorating since last November, and things have gradually gotten worse and worse until I had a burnout, my depression resurfaced and I started experiencing somewhat severe anxiety. Among all of this, my inner self-talk has become very negative and has majorly affected the way I see my art. I feel my art is inadequate, "less than", not "cool enough" and even ugly, which has raised the bar for me to keep posting on Tumblr. The fact that my posts have gotten significantly less engagement lately has not been encouraging either to say the least... I know I shouldn't be ungrateful or whiny, and that attaching my self-value as an artist to the amount of notes my posts get is a recipe for disaster, but in my current mental state I just feel it affecting me more than it should — despite the sensible part in me telling me that everything's okay. And before I add anything else, I just want all of you who reblog and write nice tags and comments on my posts — especially the regulars — to know, that I read every single one of them, and they always cheer me up and humble me (I have even written some of them down on paper and come back to them often). ❤️

What I mean to say by all this is I guess, that Tumblr has kinda felt too much for me lately — or I've felt too little for it. I've tried resisting the impulse to just delete my blog and delete Tumblr and disappear into the oblivion forever, and I still keep resisting it. Some days it's easier, while somedays I'm only a single spoon away from doing the finger motions required to "delete your account" and "delete this app" for good.

I'm sort of doing better at the moment with the mental health stuff, but in all honesty I can't really say for sure, since my mood keeps swinging from top to bottom within a single day. To reassure you though, I have help irl and I'm not in imminent danger or anything like that — even my depression has subsided, though the anxiety still remains.

I probably need to take an even longer break from Tumblr, since I can't really see any other ways to deal with these issues, other than with myself in private. Thank you all who've been nice and friendly with me, who have interacted and included me even though I'm not the most sociable person. I'm positive that I'll get through this and things will eventually start to calm down and return to normal.

It's a good thing it's not Sunday. On Sunday I might have deleted your message, but I probably would've doubled down on an immature and full out snarky response. It probably would've been about your lack of punctuation, which would have been super lame I know.

Then on Monday I would have regretted my actions, realizing it was unbecoming and that you probably meant well. After all, you must like my posts if you want more people to read them. Right?

But lucky for you - it's Wednesday. I'm in a good mood after Secret Relationships. So I'll play. Yes, I'm a long-winded one. At work, I set word limits on my video scripts and page limits for my other types of writing. I'm forever grateful for my copyeditor who catches all of my grammar mistakes and typos. But on Tumblr? I don't really edit myself (as much). I spend many of my working hours cutting down words. I'd rather not stress over word counts here.

As for replies, that's probably true. I'm sure there have been people that I replied to who were overwhelmed with the length of my response or the eagerness of my reply. The art of a short reply is one that I haven't mastered yet. I'm just really excited to talk about shows. And frankly, I'm just proud of myself for hitting send. Eight weeks ago the thought of tagging or replying to someone broke me out in a cold sweat. Now I do it on the regular without missing a beat. I'm sure I'll figure out a good balance between what I want to say and length eventually.

"What is the Better Bones AU?"

I'm so glad you asked, convenient question-speaker!

Better Bones (BB) is a full-series rewrite project that seeks to have a more conclusive stance on anti-authoritarianism, revamp the bonds and beliefs of individual characters to make more interesting drama and politics, and overhaul the progression of morality and history throughout the timeline to make the society of the Clans into a living, changing culture.

To do that, we've got 5 goals;

Fix the tangled family tree and give it clearer rules, expanding on kinship between cats while not neglecting friendships

Make the environment accurate to northwestern England, including education on how different biomes are managed and lists of local flora and fauna, to understand how environment has impacted Clan culture.

Build out technology by giving the Clans tool use and food preparation, additional traditions and customs, their own language, and medicinal treatment guides from sniffles up to HRT.

Change the themes of canon by addressing its problematic elements, giving the cats consistent politics and making the narrative conclusively anti-authoritarian.

Be cool as fuck, with wilder deaths, more clanborn villains, bloodier battles, and even MORE complicated innerClan drama

BB is told in notes and outlines, with the "end point" being a full skeleton for the entire series complete with chapter-by-chapter notes, which anyone would be able to write out fully, just as if they were a ghostwriter being handed a draft.

This project is open-source. I encourage you to take any inspiration from this AU that you'd like, or use the Clan culture expansions for your own projects. They don't HAVE to be warriors-related, we have a few folks who like to apply parts of this project to Rainworld! Go bananas.

I only ask that you don't steal any drawn art (as seen in the fanart, character summaries, and culture expansions) to pass it off as your own. Please respect the contributions of these artists.

Wow you guys really seemed to like the steampunk AU, that post got way more attention than I was expecting, so here's some more information and stuff:

-The world is still like a videogame that they got trapped in but now it’s a steampunk adventure-y type game with circus elements 

-The adventures are probably a bit different

-They’re probably more like, fantasy adventure video game style things with like puzzles and fighting? Idk I'm not a big gamer I've never actually played any steampunk video games. What are those like?

So yea, that headcanon also applies to this au

-she’s good at using tools and weapons but not in like, a mechanic sorta way like Zooble but in a defense sorta way

-like, she’s very kind and caring but also sorta tough and even though her body is good at falling apart, she knows how to use strategy to fight and um wait what would they even be fighting-

2024 Retrospective

It's the big 2025, so I wanna just take the time and reflect on the past year. To start off, wow! What a year it's been. So much has happened, and I wanna talk about it.

First off, Ripaxel.

I feel like my account wouldn't be the same without Axel. She's my namesake, despite me not talking about her anymore. I still adore her and her relationship with Ripper, and I'm still happy with the art I made for them.

I wouldn't be remissed if I didn't talk about my first ever fic, Hanging Axe, an 11.5k word one shot full of pure Axel angst. It was my first indication that I could take all of my ideas somewhere, and that I had what it took to write an impactful story that people cared about and wanted more of.

Part of me wants to change my name since Axel isn't my focus anymore, but another part wants to keep it. It's the name I've had for over a year and where I really got my start on this platform. It's here to stay, at least for now.

And now onto my next hyperfixation. I adore Vaggie and Chaggie with everything I am. And I wanna thank my college buddies, whom I wouldn't have even watched Hazbin without so, thanks guys.

I'm very proud of how far my art has come. I've learned so much, and I'm still learning! Comparing these from May and October, just look! I certainly wouldn't be where I am now without her. Even when I was stressed, drawing her provided a needed outlet.

And as much as I hated summer school it really gave me the time to practice and hone myself so thanks summer school 😑

That being said, I still love Total Drama! It's the reason I'm even on Tumblr to begin with! I don't talk about it as much as I used to, but I'll pump out some art for it occasionally. Long live Gwourtney.

im sure you get this question all the time but how do you go about procuring those amazing outfits? do you thrift, get things tailored, make items yourself? do you buy things as you go or do you search for specific items one at the time? it's just that id love to have a style like yours (but masc haha) and i always wonder how you do it because i wouldn't know where to get clothes such as you wear anywhere, let alone for a price i can afford. and also, now im here, thank you for your amazing art, it always brightens my day when you post <3

Hello! 🥰 I collect pieces from different places that I feel fit the aesthetic I created for myself, kind of like character design, and I stick to certain silhouettes and color palettes that I already know I will feel comfortable in.

In my case I go for structured pieces instead of flowy draping ones, plain colors over patterns unless it's straight lines, earth and jewel tones on the warmer and muted side, medium height heels, gold over silver, etc. All of this makes for safe purchases for me no matter the store or outfit

Most of my clothes I buy from the historical reproduction shops I list under my posts ( I made a list some time ago here and also in the tags of each post as well as in my Instagram )

Some of these shops are on the more expensive side but offer custom tailoring which is ideal and a must for me because I'm built weird 😅 so I try to get my staple pieces there and plan the whole outfit around it before purchasing.

Then you can get the basic pieces to complete the looks from regular stores! stuff like plain shirts and trousers I usually get from places like Zara

I also thrift at curated stores which makes it easier to find interesting pieces (Edwardian revival from the 70's, capes, belts, handkerchiefs, scarves, bags and hats are some of the things I go for) I don't go with an outfit plan in mind for this, I just look around every once in a while and see what I can find and what I can do with it since it's usually very cheap too. I've also found that thrifting for masc clothes is way easier (at least where I live?) for some reason. I go antique shopping for accessories too, hats and pins from the 20's!!

Then the more specific and inexpensive stuff to tie the outfits together I get from aliexpress, (like the clock bags) and for blouses I also shop at lolita stores online sometimes

When it comes to planning outfits I just play dress up in front of the mirror like you see in the videos I make, I pull out a bunch of stuff from my closet and start matching. it helps me see what I'm missing or what colors would work best or which cut or fit creates an interesting look. It also helps you see and remember everything you have so when you are shopping or dressing up to go out you have this mental library and know whether something new will fit in with your wardrobe or not.

I also got a sewing machine some time ago and I'm teaching myself to sew! So far I've only fixed mine and my husband's clothes to make them fit but I'd love to move on to making my own clothes eventually!

I think that cultivating a personal style makes shopping for clothes easier and allows you to invest in pieces you know you will keep without fear of them going out of style and you don't feel the pressure to update your whole wardrobe every year. it's also super fun and has helped me build confidence and feel a lot more at peace with my appearance. It'll be great tho ur gonna get Hikaku, Fugaku, Shisui, Mikoto, just all the cool Uchiha. Lots of politics, lots of drama, the works

- Itama and the secret senju weed empire fic,,,, it will be long and it will be beautiful which means it'll take me forever to do, sorry

- Magical Girl Izuna AU (my beloved) I got distracted by other projects midway through writing chapter 1 but I'll get there eventually

- Little lab mystery where kid edo-tensei reincarnations of Madara and Tobirama wake up with no memories and immediately stage a jail break

- Nin burger!!!!! Yes this is a real thing yes I meant to post it like the same week I started making it but then I got distracted and didn't. But I swear to fucking GOD I will see it complete. Nin Burger is my favorite real naruto restaurant that is real

- That one oneshot where Madara and Tobirama spend a festival night in the capital together as children, and Madara develops his very first crush on the fox masked boy, but seems to be doomed never to meet him again— till Konoha's first festival is held and he sees a man wearing the very same mask, waiting for him in the crowds. Might not actually finish this one tbh but also maybe I'll save it for tbmd week?? Idk

Considering / Planning;

- Hikaku as the Uchiha clan head after Madara's betrayal comic,,, not an actual fic but I wanna make this so bad. I've written notes for it I just need to get along to drawing it

- Izuna in Wonderland comic, honestly I'll probably end up doing the entire thing in one go one night when I get hit in the face w a brick w motivation. So it'll be a surprise for both u guys and me when I post that! I always do my comics in one go bc I physically can't bring myself to return to art projects if interrupted, which means I tend to do longer ones on my days off where I have literally nothing else to do or distract me, but I haven't had one of those in like. 2 months now. So. But I will soon!! Umm. Maybe.

- Here Before and After Me chapter 2, I'll probably make one eventually but who tf knows when. I have a very specific vision of Kakashi following Tobirama onto the battlefield and scaring the shit out of a very alarmed and confused Izuna

- Tobirama and Izuna's field trip through time and space, I don't think I want to commit to a full fic bc it'd be seriously long and I'm already commiting to Chasing Shadows and One Step Three Steps as my regular update long fics, then the MG Izuna au and Itama fic as my "write it all behind the scenes then post" long fics. One shots only for me, sorry. But I do wanna write a silly one shot of the boys crash landing face first into a konoha council meeting during their field trip

Just realized I never really showed off Maiden's design properly. So uh... Here's the phases and some basic explanations, I guess? If people even care?

Potential Warning?

While I'm not entirely sure if a warning is needed, Maiden is meant to be a more serious character, so some designs that will be seen below are KINDA spooky looking, not really disturbing I'd say, but I felt like I should put this warning here just in case. Look out for her Phase 2 if you dislike sorta glitchy/distorted bodies, and her Phase 3 for a general spooky look...

Phase 1 - Sapphire

Phase 1 is pretty simple. At this point, she's still supposed to be a regular Mii. She's unaware of anything outside of her NPC-like programming. Her name was Sapphire pre-transformation.

Phase 2 - Virus (beginning of transformation)

Phase 2 is after the event that causes her sentience. Trying to return to the Mii Channel after the event seemingly messed up her model, as it occasionally stretches and glitches in ways like seen in the above image. She's sentient in this phase, aware of her surroundings and the player/person watching.

Phase 3 - Maiden (unstable/true form)

Phase 3 is her most hostile form. Having given in to the glitching and learning to control it, she's managed to find a form that she can use to fight. She's not always in attack mode, though her attempts to be friendly might be kinda painful. Watch out for the spikes and ESPECIALLY her weird pointy hand blades...

Phase 3.5(?) - Maiden (stable/friendly)

After Phase 3, she eventually managed to find a way to stabilize herself into a more friendly form. She can switch between the stable and unstable forms whenever she desires. However, this is the form that will be most commonly seen within art of her and for her ask blog.

Wahoo I've been working on this dude on-and-off since June 2023 when I saw ATSV in theaters!! I'll probably find more things to tweak right after I submit this but I'm tired of looking at him and I wanted him up in time for Art Fight so I'm releasing him from containment 🏃 More info about him under the cut!

Introducing Steven "Seth" McLilliard Stryker, or the Spider-Man of Earth-40712! Also known as the Peacock-Spider or Spider-Lily, he's been his city's "Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man" since he was 15 y/o. As of now he's been the host to two separate symbiotes--his first being Scourge/Calamity (Scourge is what it went by when bonded to Seth, Calamity is what it currently goes by) and his second/current being Malignant/Goliath. Seth is kinda both Spider-Man and Eddie Brock/Venom in his world--moreso the Sonyverse trilogy Eddie/Venom than anything. Anyways, he's in a polycule with Malakai “MJ” Jeriah-Watson (eventually known as Jackpot), Harvey “Harry” Edwin Leeds-Osborn (still debating on if he becomes New Goblin/Hobgoblin/whatever), Feliciano “Felicia” Hardy (also known as Black Cat), and Malignant/Goliath of course. Prior to them he did date a few other people, notably Gavyn “Gwen” Stacy in high school and Dr. Oliver “Liv” Osnick Octavius (later known as Doctor Octopus and eventually [REDACTED]) in his early college years. Still workshopping names but we're getting somewhere! Also still figuring out his villains--Calamity is meant to be his version of Carnage (although I might still make canonical expies of Peter/Venom/Carnage/etc in this verse, not sure yet), and outside of Doc Ock I've got ideas for Green Goblin and the Kingpin (the latter of which is actually his uncle 🫢). But you can expect most of Spider-Man's regular rogues gallery to show up at some point!

I'm really happy with how he came out! I'm still not super confident drawing humans but fixating on this guy's ref really forced me to push through any anxiety I had! His costume went through a few designs before I got it where I wanted it (a bunch of WIP shots will be shown in his TH gallery), but I think I did ok for my first ever fanmade Spidey design :] In regards to his canon event it's gonna suck so much for him, but I'm going to keep details regarding that a secret for now ;3c All I can say is that post-canon-event he's almost exactly like MCU!Peter after Aunt May's death. Think when he's fighting Green Goblin and he goes to stab him with his own glider, only Raimi!Peter isn't there to stop him,,,

Rise!Dredge AU sketches #1

I haven't really drawn the others in a long while so, I started small with getting an idea of the hats and some accessories they'll wear before brainstorming the outfits. More additional info in the read more if you want to know more details about it. (Minor spoilers about the game as well)

I had previous thoughts about the idea of cloaking brooches whenever the guys stop by the Marrows. Since its mostly humans in that area. And maybe at Gale Cliffs because of the Retired Whaler and the two other residents still living there.

And the only time where they don't use it is whenever April's around. She works along side the Traveling Merchant in this au. And TM's too busy with other things to care about that sort of thing. (She's mostly chill with them but, has the same annoyance like whenever the turtle's boat is damaged.)

But, the last minute changes while adding some tiny details to April's necklace made me change my mind for three of them. The Hamato cloaking brooches repurposed by Mikey's artistic skill to turn his into a secured accessory pin on his beanie hat. Donnie with a choker necklace and April having hers as a celebratory gift after successfully getting her license to work as a merchant.

So its Splinter, Leo, and Raph that hasn't really changed theirs. Aside from it being the main symbol over the turtle insignia on Leo or Raph's belt.

The youngest siblings get beanie hats and the oldest siblings and Splinter gets different hats. I saw one post with some of the concept art from the game (namely the playable fisherman character) and most referred it from there for the turtles. I tried drawing a rain hat on Raph so its meh compared to the others... I wasn't sure to give April a similar hat like the Shipwright npc has but, for now it might be easier to stick with the sketch I recently did. Since one of the episodes from the show had her in that hairstyle for a few minutes. As for Splinter, the straw beach hat just fits him. And I might draw one for Donnie as well because again he wore one during the Portal Jacked episode lol.

She's more friendly compared to the in-game hooded figures. The five eyes used to be regular moles but, ate many aberration fish and eventually mutated into a leatherback sea turtle. And in this au, its Mikey that meets her but, almost got scared seeing her with those eyes hidden in the hood.

I started with this sketch first and lining this in pen was a good decision for future sketches on here and my main blog!

She wanted to get revenge at the eldritch creature living near Stellar Basin. After her dad was forced along with dumb family members that believed they can reach fame and fortune by killing the beast with just whaling equipment. She wasn't successfully and later dying with wounds from the aberration jellyfish and its jelly bombs' allies.

I'm still eh about this mutant mermaid design... (except for the seaweed top piece) so it might be a while where I'll finally be satifisied with her design. TT _ TT

This is not a message I intend to bring to your attention because you do not want to see it. This is not me breaking our agreement. I will not message you until November & when I do it will be strictly asking to start a new art commission. Nothing I say here will be mentioned ever again. I am putting this out not to gain sympathy but to just get it out of my head.) I joined a few weeks ago because someone I had been friends with for 4 years is a regular here. Me & her had a falling out. I said some stupid, selfish shit & didn't catch myself because of all the stress of that week. She got justifiably mad & wanted to be left alone for a while. That's all she wanted. That one thing. The one thing I wanted was to know if we would try to talk & be friends when that silence eventually broke. Long story short, neither of us got that. I was freaking out too much to stay quiet despite wanting to & she was too angry with me & busy to give me the comfort I asked for. Words were misunderstood. Me caring for her was misinterpreted as treating her like an object. Like a delicate flower. Like this was only some attempt to "win the girl." That was never the intent. We were toxic to each other. We both had a hand in the destruction of our friendship. But the majority of it was me. I failed to deal with the mental health issues that caused these problems. Some I thought I did, but really I was just distracting myself from them with the good times. Burying them. But they regrew like weeds again & again & again. The boundary breaking, the weird questions, the suicidal spirals that made her afraid to point out my problems.... I will fix myself so that this doesn't happen with anyone else ever again. But that will take months, years, or even decades. These types of problems do not go away overnight no matter how much I want them to. What kills me the most is knowing my worst fear is true. That the impostor syndrome I've been struggling with was actually right for once. She says she doesn't care anymore. Although some stuff she has done since contradicts that, that is what she has told me straight up. ..... I'll be honest when I first joined here it was to try & talk to her after she blocked me on the two other platforms we were friends on. But I realized how creepy that would've been & how it would've gone against her wishes & I didn't. But instead I interacted with a bunch of her stuff thinking it would be a way to support her while respecting her wishes. I was an idiot for thinking this because notifications exist. And my name now brings her nothing but pain. Despite her struggles with empathy & holding grudges, she's the nicest girl I've ever met. And she still is.... Until... She sees... My name... And then she becomes cold & unforgiving from all that happened. I think it's going too far. That surely she sees I never intended to hurt her. That I care about her. That I am genuinely sorry for everything. But that doesn't matter. She's justified in acting unfair to me. Because regardless of me not intending to hurt her, I did. ....... She called our friendship poison. To both of us. And a part of me knew it was a year into our friendship. Although I never told her.

It felt unfair that my problems would leave our friendship on a knife's edge while hers I was expected to ignore because they were "part of who I am."

I said to myself years ago "this feels toxic" But I happily swallowed that poison. Because I cared about her. Still do. Part of it was romantic affection at one point, but she never wanted anything to do with that so I tried my best to squash that down. No I always cared about our friendship more than I did it becoming something more. Because you should never go into a friendship with someone purely just to get with them romantically. That is scummy. And I'm not about that. I went into that friendship wanting to JUST be friends to start so that way even if it didn't go any further, I would have a friend for life out of it. So even if some small part of me hoped for something more, I didn't want it. Because she didn't. She saved my life in my darkest time just by being my friend. I met her in 2020 at a time where the loneliness of COVID & my failures in college were taking it's toll on my soul. If I never became friends with her, I would not have survived that year. Hence why I am so close to her even now. I want to fix things. Rebuild the bridge that I set on fire. Even as she continues to throw gasoline on it.

I never cared how much our friendship hurt me. As long as it never hurt her. And the reason I never told her I knew it was toxic.... Was that I would gladly be the most miserable POS on the planet.... If I could make sure she wasn't. ..... Even in all of this, I am thankful. For our mutual friends who have been helping us even as I failed miserably to listen. For my sister for comforting me. For God helping give me the will to live inspite of all this. And for Stardew. Weird segway I know but... she was playing a ton of this both before & during this whole saga. And it makes her happy. Even if sometimes it felt like she was just hiding in that game to avoid talking things out... It makes her happy. Even if it feels hypocritical for her to talk about how much she loves Shane's arc & struggle to heal through his mental issues while being completely cold & unforgiving to mine... It makes her happy. And ultimately that's all I want. Her to be happy. I hope one day we can be friends again. But for now I am fine where I am with her. We are exclusively business right now. I've been failing miserably at staying on topic, but that's the plan. And one I intend to stick to until she's ready to be friends again. And if that day never comes? That's okay. I will cry & weep. Pray to God to open her heart to the idea of us being friends again. But I know at some point I will be okay. And I know she can take care of herself. We don't NEED each other's friendship. But I still want to be friends. So until that day comes, if it ever does.... I am fine simply being business. Giving her resources to do stuff with... people she actually cares about. I may be sad. But she will be happy.
