Need help/advice??

So we have a new guy but he's like in a super weird state regarding awareness of being in a system and I have no clue how to help him…? He logically is aware of plurality and stuff but he's also suuuuper connected to his exomems and stuff so… I think logically he knows he's a fictive in a system and the place he's in is a plural headspace, but he doesn't fully understand that?

Based on how he is at the moment (and for the foreseeable future), I don't think it would be possible (or helpful? idk it feels like it might make things worse) to try to get him to understand that he's "just an introject" and have him source separate and such But he's also having a really hard time comprehending that there's (fictives of) other versions of him, and just in general where he is (since our headspace looks pretty fantasy-esc) He's almost entirely convinced he's asleep and dreaming, or got drugged or something It's also making him uncomfortable and just… confused in general

Sorry lots of yapping, I'm tired, some of this might not make sense lol But yeah I don't know what would help him be less confused and weirded out when he either doesn't have the ability or the mental stability to understand the whole plurality thing right now

Hello everybody new fandom new pinned new me. I am DETERMINED to establish myself as The verneider author on whatever platforms I post on SO. Here we go.

I'm Nathan, or Angel. We are a system, our main blog is @renegadessys and you can always message us there, that's also where we follow from. Our pronouns are he/it. This is a littlee random to send an ask about I guess, but as a system collectively and a fictive myself, I love that you’re friends with fictives and talk about them and such :] It probably sounds kinda.. weird, I guess? Anan - This is a bnha fictive, it's thirteen! You know and love her <3 she's decently close to her source appearance wise but personality wise she takes on a more motherly role and her personality doesn't line up with her source at all, i think she's mostly here to "reign in" the littles

Angel - not a fictive! they're my weird fucked up angelic feral wolf who's golden retriever kin, by far the funniest person in my system if you think about her too hard, also he uses any pronoun, doesn't front too often, but it's just objectively funny to have this cool angelic wolf in your brain and they wish they were a normal ass dog

Applejack - mlp:fim fictive HONESTLY. forgot she was in here. i don't know if she's still around at all tho headmates can come and go and she hasn't fronted in a long while, wonder if she's still around? she was basically identical to her source tho which! is actually very rare for me

Bendy - Ink demon fictive go BRRR! in all seriousness Bendy's a very valued member of my system, he's very good at masking when we need it and he keeps a close eye on things, i appreciate him a lot, even if he stands there. menacingly. he's pretty similar to his source appearance wise but he's got a demon tail. probably because i've always been a bit bitter bendy didn't get a tail (as a note i'm not involved in the bendy fandom AT ALL like i know nothing about the fandom space)

Inasa - bnha fictive, i'm gonna be honest??? don't know a thing about this guy. idk if he's still here or not he's been dead quiet. he showed up in the system the same day as eri so maybe he's just afraid of being outshined <3 (JOKING i'm sure he's just not active, it's actually common for someone to be silent for months even years without fronting because their services just aren't needed at the moment)

Izuku - bnha fictive, weird scorpion rabbit who takes control of the body for three weeks straight and drops like 20 chapters on ao3 and then dips (basically when we need to focus on something and just Can't he'll show up to do the work for us)

Jin - bnha fictive, twice my beloved ect ect, basically there to help us cope with new situations/new people we have to interact with, not very similar to his source appearance wise, he's a whole ass anthro husky, we love him tho he's pretty helpful, likes to push himself into front to steal conversations though it's kinda annoying

Katsuki (bear with me there are two of us) - bnha fictive, this one's me, for a while i was acting host because lee went poof for a while (he's back to being host i'm just fronting today because i had stuff to do) i've got red and black dragon features and probably the one with the most art because my partner(s) loves to draw us together (my partner's also a system for some context something something if i had a dime for every time i helped someone realize they were a system i'd have a concerning amount of dimes) basically. i take care of the body when lee can't, so cooking, brushing teeth, things like that, i'm also under the protector category and i don't hesitate to get into arguments/screaming matches (and i always regret them later since it is. usually with my family 😭 sorry mom ily)

Katsuki (TWO) - bnha fictive also, so, headmates can split or fuse, right? i think this was a result of a split? we're similar but pretty different at the same time, he's a wolf hybrid, like, think satyr kinda body type hybrid, something got fucked along the way though so he's got seraphim wings?? awful and annoying and terrible during phantom limb moments. you don't know hell until you feel like you've got three sets of wings ON TOP OF your own set of wings. hell on earth, truly. i hate phantom wings i hate them so bad. anyway i'm rambling- he's also a kinda take care of the body when lee can't but when it comes to proper rest/relaxation, basically an emergency break self care day we are eating cake and watching a favorite show today fuck your work

Keigo - bnha fictive, he's very different from his source and he actually tends to avoid people who like his source character unless he trusts them it's a long story ANYWAY he's more birdlike, his feathers are red and black instead of just red, things like that, his entire job is basically Act As An Emergency Companion, but also if the body/system is stressed out and feeling unsafe, he'll usually switch to front to keep things calm

Lucus - Also a bnha oc same as the other two so far don't know much about his job in the system

Mystery - Weird little galaxy dragon thing?? he's been here for a while and i still don't know why they're here. girl what do you even do. do you even pay rent.

Oboro - bnha fictive, he's part drake, he doesn't front much anymore (shitty ex friend who he was really close to made him not like fronting anymore, but he's warming up to fronting again i think), but he actually used to be the person who fronted the most outside of lee, it's why the system is named the Cloudy Creatures system, he did a lot of heavy lifting early on when we finally realized we were plural (we had been plural for a long, long time before we realized, we. did not know we were. we have a history of hallucinations and delusions so we just. assumed. we were in active delusion when we were like "i think i am oboro shirakumo??" so. yea turns out! plural!) he gets us outta the house and makes us friends

System thoughts/ramblings

Idk I feel really grateful for my system today. I've been feeling like shit. I didn't even go to work today, which sucks bc I had shit I wanted to get done. I'm hoping to feel mostly better by tomorrow (I think a lot of it was withdrawals from my depressy meds), but in the meantime, Wren had to work. And I let my system care for me. I needed it. They did a great job. One alter in particular made sure I rested, and I'm really grateful for him. Stars as a person y'all interact with is one alter in a system, and yeah, I'm out most of the time and do 90% of the socializing, but there's a whole family of people in me. Many of them have been active for nearly 20 years. I'm so grateful for this weird little life we've carved out for ourselves as a body and system. We've done so much work. We love each other, and that means I can love myself. I have a functional prosecutor who I love so much. He (affectionately) can't stand me. It's lovely. We have a ton of fictives from a ton of source media. A lot of those are our oldest alters. I love my/our system a lot. I'm really proud of us and I just wanted to write about that for a minute. Sometimes you're so traumatized you permanently end up with a flimsy sense of identity that attaches to characters and concepts and ideas and that's... I don't know, I know it's very very hard for many people. It's very hard for me/us some days, especially since many of us wish we had our own bodies. But most days, being a system makes our life easier, better, more fulfilled, and safer. We can work through things more easily with alters. We can feel safe alone together. I love that Wren and Brandon know my system. I wish more people did. I have a lot of shame to overcome, as far as sharing my system with people (I love my fictives but I am constantly in terror of being mocked) but I'm hoping with age I can face that and just be comfortable sharing all the parts of myself that help us live and function daily. This didn't really have a point outside of writing about my experience and sharing that I'm proud of us today. Three Cheers and Hurray for the Stars System!

yeah!! like obviously dsmp characters are, y'know, characters but they are not separate from the ccs in a way that fictive characters usually are from the author because the dsmp is roleplay. it feels super fucking weird to me to hate a cc but still continue to make fan content about them.

honestly i feel like a lot of tommy and tubbo's fans have been wishfully thinking that their ccs are completely unaware about things and aren't that close to dream. they have talked like that for months (if not longer) and most of them have been convinced that this is actually the reality when everyone who doesn't read into what ccs say and take things more at face value has been able to understand just how adamantly tommy supports dream. it doesn't help that a lot of the twitter fans are quite young and seemingly not very good at reading social situations (i have seen a lot of tweets where op says that out loud). obviously there's nothing wrong with either of these things but it does lessen the whole fandom's reading and listening comperhension, which does have consequenses.

anyway, now that tommy especially is so damn loud and clear about his support of dream (also specific of the current situation) it's like a rug has been pulled from under their feet. they wished he didn't know, he clearly knows. they wished he would react a certain way, he doesn't care. they wished he would distance himself, he mentions him every stream. it's like a crash landing from miles high and lots of these people don't have healthy and meaningful ways to use their time and energy. also, people like shitting on things in a group setting. we do that here on dtblr too all the time so people shittalking and being mad shouldn't really surprise us.

the saddest thing about a lot of fandoms popular with young people is that they attract lonely and bullied kids who feel distanced from their irl friends. what do you do when you don't have healthy coping mechanisms and something that brought you joy and helped you find like-minded people ends up as something that you don't like anymore? then you wallow in misery and the feelings of betrayal with the people online and lash out at others. it makes everything worse for everyone but if you've seen how they acted online before this, you know that a) that isn't a problem for these people b) or they are just wholly unaware of how they act. this is just a long way to say that it's hard to distance yourself from something if you are lonely and feel betrayed by something that brought you comfort. it's no excuse, but it makes me feel empathy for those fans who are clearly just lonely middle schoolers who feel like they don't fit in. obviously there are also fans that are grown adults or just want the adrenaline they get from retweeting a callout post, but this part of the post isn't really about them.

this post isn't ment to psychoanalyze inniters or whatever and i don't feel like i do that. honestly, if there's anything i want people to understand is that we really gotta look after each other and that having friends in real life (in addition to online) is so important to keeping yourself levelheaded, so please go talk to people outside too.

Today we went to a HUGE celebration! A Fair! There were lights and noise and people EVERYWHERE. Two HUGE ferris Wheels right next to each other. It was SO cool!! Alas, time for more internet void ranting

So, being a fictive definitely has had a major impact on the amazing wonderful exceptionally perfect person I am.

Ow, I literally just rolled my eyes so hard it hurt. This blogging thing is getting results. I'm being upfront about mocking myself.

Anywho, not to flex or anything but my status in my source is leagues above where I am now, to say the class change made me bitter, angry, paranoid and depressed is an understatement.

And now to get the general "I'm a bad person" stuff out of the way, hell yeah I'm kind of a priss and I like having the best of everything.

Comfort, luxery, the top 1% style of living, that is my natural environment, and tbh I judge the hell out of anything below it. And yes, I feel like I deserve it, sometimes, when I'm not hating myself, moving on.

The class change was one thing. Top of thr food chain to upper middle class. Not only do I not have luxury, I also don't have a fraction of the power, both physical and political that I used to.

And that drives me insane. Seeing what a shit show America is and not being able to just fix it how I want makes me feel like there's fire ants under my skin so I literally sit there twitching like a chihuahua when I read the news.

Recently I’ve been re-evaluating my gender, and in the process i’ve had some doubts on my identity as neutrois, because I experience some kind of gender...adjacent feelings? Idk Im an angel experiencing the human social construct of gender, this shit��s hard.

Rambling about gender, transmisogyny, and dysphoria as it relates to my being a fictive pluran and an angel.

But like. I realize that looking at my fictional counterpart, I don’t dislike how I used to look! I’m not dysphoric  about it, that’s still me. I’m not dysphoric about my old name, it’s still my name sometimes. I presented and kinda lived on the ‘man-shaped’ side of life for ... a long time. And then I got bored and wanted a change and now i’m on the ‘woman-shaped’ end of things (maybe ‘neutrois-shaped?’ idk embodiment is hard when you’re a pluran). And I’m just completely neutral on the difference between the version of me perceived as a man and myself who is perceived ... generally ... as a woman.

And idk that feels pretty neutrois to me. I only care when people disrespect my chosen gender. Aaaand the fact that I chose it makes me feel extra vulnerable to transmisogynist arguments and boy do i internalize those :��) Like. A significant part of the very minimal dysphoria I feel is directly caused by t/erfs. I’m an angel, I wouldn’t really experience gender-based dysphoria if I didn’t have to face the human social consequences of gender. I never felt dysphoria before being exposed to shaming and harassment for the way I was changing myself.

Idk I have a lot of feelings about body things, bc when you have two of them and one of them is shared, things get weird and difficult.
