The Charcuterie Board, as designed by your votes! Thank you to everyone who participated; this was a fun challenge!

#charcuterie saga #The original version of this was a watercolour but unfortunately I left it behind while travelling...#Along with some of my comic pages and my scripting notes (that's why I have yet to post more pd-mdzs...I funked it up big time)#This board was made on Dec 30th and I am very thankful to the people who helped donate various components to make it possible.#I took a few variations on the composition and while this one has some flaws - I think it has the most personality!#True Charcuterie fans will look at my choices and weep but I never promised good charcuterie!!! I promised accuracy to the poll!#Some elements stand in as 'double counting' in categories. Which was a survival technique for me.#I had to learn a lot of new things to make this possible! My skills like in making the physical wooden board - not the arrangement of food!#Rosemary was hotly debated as I personally do think it counts as edible (so not a valid pick for 'decoration').#I also thought tomato sauce could count as a fruit and spread.#My cursed hand has fingerprints in other parts of this tragedy. Beware looking too closely.#Of course there is a version of reality in which I have the disposable income to buy 20+ different kinds of cheese and-#-make this baby absolutely massive. Not the reality I live in though.#What a wild experience this saga has been. So many opinions about cheese (and other foods).#EDIT: I mislabelled the Salami! There is salami on the board!!!

Happy Birthday Kaito! Since the folks at @shownohajimarida granted us a look at the magazine cover for chapter 3 that had a Kid that hasn't been featured among Gosho's art before, I wanted to isolate him and clean up his suit a bit. So I did! A month ago, because I do things impulsively without actually thinking about planning things out, but shh.

#my edit #kaitou kid #The remaster artists have more skill in making things pretty for Magic Kaito manga #But edits are fun to do every now and again #I'm sure he's still dirty; at least in the actual coloured parts from the neck down #If Gosho wants to ever add this one (and the skateboarding Kaito and the Kaito and Aoko under a hat etc) to a future gallery #I think we'd all appreciate it #(But I also have a feeling that the really old art wasn't preserved in a way that could easily be put in a clean MK art section)#Some of it was. But the further back the art; the less likely to see an official prettied up version; methinks #-flops- I did so many unplanned errands today I almost forgot I had this to post

Seeing Dalamud descend from the sky, despite all their effort, was like a nightmare come true.

Another tragedy beyond their control, powerless to stop it they could do nothing but watch.

She could fight monster and imperial soldiers but there was nothing A‘tehmi could do against a moon falling from the sky and especially not against the giant dragon that broke free from it.

I live in constant fear that a future editor will want to cut characters I love and to prevent this I am arguing with myself as an editor for why my Precious Son should be cut and have reached a compromise: I kill off a character who talks more than him in a similar role he has and make him too integral to cut.

#this is actually better for the book even if it pushes completion back by another week or more #I realized he had to go because my finale isn’t clicking #and I refuse to let him go #so I will kill his mentor mother figure and he gets all her lines and significantly less authority making him an ally not a saviour #and this is why self editing is a critical skill #sunny writes

#basically all the newer ones for speed duel are just 'get full combo for free and some extra shit on top because why not'#tutoring for super poly alone should qualify dragonic contact as a war crime but then it's also gotta give you TWO (2) more cards on top #and chivalrous celerity is a worrying sign that they may be starting to creep into rush duels as well. which feels pretty foreboding #(seriously though. who thought that The Format With No Tutors Ever needed to let you search for THREE cards at once)#(even when they knew they HAD to hit the deck they only did a banlist instead of nerfing the skill itself. which feels. Concerning™)#yugioh #duel links #EDIT: wait actually never mind that last bit i just saw they're nerfing it soon. weird they're doing that separate from the banlist hits #thank goodness too. preventing you from using metallions/heroes with it should actually take it to a reasonable level. good riddance too #as a known dragon lover i'm a bit sad to see the dragon fusion skill (and the psychic one) is getting hit too but tbh that's probably fair
