I hate that whenever there's a gay ship, people immediately het-ify it. people are so obsessed with making one the "man" and one the "woman" when that's completely unnecessary, because they are both the man or the woman. It's extremely annoying. these people will completely mischaracterize a character to fit into their stupid little het roles they force on them.

for example, you don't need to make one man the "wife" and feminized him to the extreme and fit him in a traditional "woman" role so the other man can be the big strong masculine manly man. they can both be masculine or both be feminine or both be both at the same time! they do NOT need to be gendered opposites to fit het roles. crazy, I know! it's like no one considers it a possibility! or sees how good it can be to have them be equals without gendered nonsense.

when there's a gay relationship, you have the perfect opportunity for the couple to stand on equal ground. they get to be equals who are just as strong and just as soft as each other. there's no faulty power dynamics where one is above the other (because let's face it, society unfortunately deems masculinity > femininity). one doesn't need to protect the other. they can protect themsleves, fight aide by side as equals. one doesn't do all the housework. they share that duty equally. one isn't weak and pretty, while they other strong and manly. they both are strong and pretty, or masculine and weak at the same time.

equal relationships are amazing and need to be explored more and appreciated. there can be more understanding and working together. i'm bad at explaining what I mean, but I prefer these equal relationships over forcing them into opposite roles to mirror het relationships, which are usually extremely unbalanced and unequal. especially because these not het relationships! so why must they look like one? they can and should look different! so why does literally every shipper and writer out there make them so het coded?

I don't understand why people do this. do they actually believe all romantic relationships must mimic het ones to exist and thrive and purposely force that on them? or have they genuinely just not fathamed that they can be different and dont need to follow the expected het standards?

I wonder, it feels like no one actually knows how non-het relationships are meant to be and how they could work, since het ones are always forced down our throats since birth. it becomes The Standard that everyone thinks they must follow. maybe it's all people know since they don't see any other possibilities. their preferred dynamics for their ships are what we are taught and nothing different, because they don't know it can be different. i also think people might be obsessed with that whole "opposites attract" trope. but that opposite doesn't have to be the traditional het-fueld feminine vs masculine or wife vs husband characteristics. it can be other personality things like one is loud and one is quiet, one is dumb and one is overly smart, one is rich and one poor, etc. it doesn't have to be masculine vs feminine!

(disclaimer, not saying masculine vs feminine ships are all bad/shouldn't be done ever. but it doesn't need to be 100% of the time either 😅 can't think of one ship people dont do this with lol)

hihi! this fic is the first chapter from my wattpad story “Gifted” which i started around april time, however i stopped uploading on it due to being extremely unmotivated, however i may bring it back (if this is what the people want) so i thought id put the first chapter on tumblr to spread the word about it!!! hope you all enjoy! (my username on wattpad is the same on here!)

whilst anaïs was always a silent viewer of her favourite youtuber turned streamer, the night he got affiliated was the night she finally got noticed by him. what started as a somewhat harmless donation, this turned into her being well known within the community, and eventually, with george.

— warnings: slight mention of drug abuse, slight parasocialness (😭)

17th March 2025

The sound of the Netflix introduction blasted through the room and Anaïs was sat eagerly on the sofa, excited to see her favourite YouTuber making his first Netflix appearance. This YouTuber was George Clarkey, a man who Anaïs had followed for years. He was appearing on the Sidemen’s show Inside, which involved 12 creators all living in a house for a week without any form of contact to the outside world. Anaïs remembered watching the first season and falling in love with concept straight away, and she was secretly hoping George would be on season 2, and here he is.

The voice of KSI filled the room as the trailer started to play at the start of the episode and she found herself grinning like an idiot as the introduction started playing. The Sidemen had been a huge part of her life growing up, basically saving her life. She watched everything that they put out and she actually attended the most recent charity match in which she saw him play. George Clarke. She was utterly obsessed with him. So when George finally appeared on her screen being the first person to walk into the house, she kept her eyes locked onto the screen. She seemed almost mesmerised by him even though they were just pixels on a screen.

Anaïs found herself laughing at every little thing he did even if he did nothing, because that was just the kind of guy he was. She obviously didn’t know anything about him, but what she did know was that he was the funniest person she had ever stumbled upon. She had never told anybody this, but watching him made her not want to relapse. When she was younger she struggled with drug abuse due from falling with the wrong crowd, and ever since she found his videos she’s not once thought about falling back into it. She owed him everything, not that he knew who she was. Yet.

An hour soon passed and the episode had come to an end. As soon as it ended, she picked up her phone to call her best friend, Rowan. The two had become friends through George and the TikTok comment section. Of course, Anaïs never actually commented on his videos however Rowan was the complete opposite. She would comment at least three different things on one video praying that she would get noticed. Anaïs messaged her to tell her that she thought she was hilarious, and the pair became inseparable ever since. Unfortunately they have never met due to Rowan living in Canada but they had always had plans to meet up.

Anaïs picked up the phone and clicked on Rowan’s contact, messaging her. It was around 3am where she was, but she knew that she’d be awake due to not wanting to miss the episode.

She frowned at that last tweet and sighed. She hated the fact that someone was just unnecessarily hating on him for not speaking on the first episode. The cast is full of huge personalities which obviously overshadowed him and didn’t allow him to speak.

Anaïs continued to scroll for a while before she got a notification that George tweeted.

She laughed at this, knowing half of the replies would probably be saying things along the lines of 'Wow, you spoke so much!' or 'So much screen time!' She turned out to be right, and she favourited a few of her favourite ones. Anaïs knew that these people were just joking around with him, and didn't actually mean what they were replying.

A few hours later of scrolling TikTok and twitter, it was suddenly late at night. She got a notification from Instagram that said George had posted a story. She instantly clicked on it, and she was met with something she never thought she would see.

A streaming setup. With a link to Twitch. On which he was live, right now. What?

She instantly shot up and ran to her bedroom, opening her laptop. She was panicking. Why was she panicking? It's not like she's going to miss anything.. why was she panicking?

She was scanning Twitch to try and find him being live, but there was no sign. She couldn't even find his username. She groaned and turned her phone back on, opening his story and clicking on the link.

She was met with this face of a very confused man, who seemed to have no idea what was happening. She laughed at his confusion, and was reading the chat to see mountains of images of penis's being spammed, much to his dismay. Obviously there was no mods yet, so his chat was complete chaos. He was completely and utterly lost, and seemed very overwhelmed. She did feel slightly sorry for him, but she had to admit it was hilarious.

Later on he ended up calling Tobi from the Sidemen for help and he somehow even managed to struggle figuring out how to mod him. Every so often George would shout Tobi for help, her favourite phrase being "Tobi! Cock in chat!" It was hilarious to her, and she never wanted the stream to end. The chat was probably the funniest she had ever seen a Twitch chat, and it made her want to get involved. But she didn't. She just sat back and watched, like she had been doing for 4 years.

Towards the end of the stream, George ended up reacting to episode 1 of Inside, which ended up being a 3 hour yap session for a 1 hour episode. She didn't mind though. She enjoyed watching and learning about the behind the scenes stuff of the episode. It was fascinating for her. She couldn't believe that he was finally streaming. Ever since he started YouTube, she always prayed that he would take up streaming and even though it took a few years, it was finally here.

The stream eventually ended, and she felt herself grinning for the hundredth time today. She plugged her phone in and went onto her laptop to open up his Twitch profile. She noticed that people were still talking in the offline chat, so she sat and watched the messages coming in, laughing at a few. Anaïs needed this man to become affiliate. In the least obsessive way possible, she needed him to finally notice her. It had been 4 years too long. She knew that she could probably just type in the chat, however to her she knew it wouldn't feel the same as it would if he would say her name. Anaïs. She's thinking how it would sound rolling off his tongue, and she smiled.

BACK ON THE CLASSIFICATION BABY JONNY AU BECAUSE IM OVSESSED

after the crew accepted that jonny is just gonna. act like a baby for a while with the only person who knows whats going on only really being able to communicate in babbles, with no sign of going back to normal anytime soon, they stopped at the closest planet they could find.

they decided that they would get jonny some things to keep hin busy, he didnt seem super interested in playing but they also didnt quite have any baby toys laying around, and they needed a way to keep him busy.

^ they learned pretty early on jonny insisted on being held a large majority at the time, and with brian, ashes, and the toy soldier being the only ones who can hold him for long periods of time AND with ease, it got hard whenever they needed to do something. so if they found some toys or stuffies or whatever that distracted jonny long enough they can use both of their hands, it would be worth it.

they get him a playpen. and other toys and stuff but oh my god they got him a playpen. its rainbow and not that big considering its for babies, but its big enough for jonny to fit in comfortably with space so. it’ll do.

and it works, theyre able to set jonny in there and let him “play” with the toys they got while the person watching him can do whatever they need to do, as long as they stay in the room with him.

that is until the toy soldier leaves him alone

it doesnt mean too, it wouldnt do that on purpose, but someone tells it to “Come here!” and orders are meant to be obeyed.

when jonny notices hes alone, he quickly starts crying because the toy soldier disappeared. whered it go? :( and now hes so scared and lonely.

“Jonny? No need to cry, it’s okay. Why are you alone, who’s watching you?” At the sound of a voice Jonny calms down enough to notice Tim kneeling in front of him. Oh. Hi Tim. Jonny smiles.

Tim breathes out heavy, then smiles back. “See, youre alright,” he pauses, looks around. “Who was with you?”

“Toy!” Jonny replies, he’s gotten the hang of a few single syllable words, the crews thankful for that.

Tims face is unreadable, “Okay. Do you.. want to go look for it? Or do you want to stay here?” Tim asks. That’s a hard question actually. Jonny.. doesnt want to play anymore. But he doesn’t want to go on a walk and find toy either. Hes sleepy. Crying is a lot of work. “Uh-Uh! Up!” Jonny makes grabby hands towards Tim, his reach going up as Tim stands. Tim grabs Jonny, picking him up, holsting him on his hip, holding him with both his hands. He starts walking to leave, Jonny does not agree.

“Mm-Mm!” Jonny starts fussing, kicking his legs as much as he can. Tim struggles. “What? No? No, what? Wait Jonny stop- Im not trying to drop you.”

“Ah!” Jonny points towards the sofa with vigor.

“The sofa?” Tim asks. Jonny nods. “You don’t want to find Toy Soldier?” Jonny shakes his head, he sets his head down on Tims shoulder, hands grabbing Tims top. “You want me to sit with you?” Another nod. “Okay, I can do that.”

They settle down on the couch, Jonny adjusting to be comfortable. He shuts his eyes, cuddling up to Tim.

It doesn’t take him long to fall asleep. “Hm. You sleep quite a lot, you know that?
