if you think that giving ganondorf a miniscule amount of ANY sort of sensical reason to do what he does, a backstory, fucking anything 'changes him into a different character'- HOW in the FUCK do you not see the problem here

do you know why i didnt give a flying fuck about the final battle in totk?? bc its all fucking NOTHING, ganondorf is a goal post with a face that got "BAD GUY" written on it in big red letters stapled on it and nothign more, you cant care about nothing and the point of any story at all is to fucking CARE

honestly a reason why i hate both "redeemable" and the good and evil descriptor is that its so ... limiting, redeemable, what does that even mean really?? it just sounds like you are applying some weirdo christian sins to make up for with good deeds shit onto characters that are, or should be, meant to make you feel something and be a pinnacle of jesus instead, like a checkbox, a scoreboard, and now its being mainly used as a negative word to dismiss legitimate criticism of boring or shitty writing bc giving any character any depth at all now automatically means you want to redeem them and thus absolve them of their sins or some shit, make them uwu perfect little good guys which is not the point (even if there are people like that, sicne guess what, theres lots of different ideas of things all around, inlcuding this hellhole- and yes there are shitty ways to give a character depth! the problem then isnt the motivation to give them depth, its the WRITING of it)

the whole good and evil thing also is just so darn limiting, what does evil even mean, who defines it matters alot, what does good mean, the definition is also really really bendable- link kills more living things than ganondorf ever has yet he isnt evil (bc hes on the side of hyrule, the designated good gouys uwu which means anythign they do is okay), the royal family having a torture dungeon and persecuting the shiekah into submission doesnt make them evil uwu but the gerudo have to suffer for the "crime" of having birthed ganondorf at some point for all eternity i guess

(as well as the very very obviously stupid turns and things ganondorf does and doesnt do literally just bc they needed him to do soemthign you could call bad even if it makes no sense at all, why would he attack his own fucking people out of nowhere, why destroy everything, literally what for, why give himself up if he wants to rule its jsut as stupidly nonsensical as the dumb magic pebbles that just gives random powers out just to force the outcome they wanted to happen)

redeemable, saveable, whatever, giving a character depth doesnt have to mean you want them to join the good tm guys either and im so fucking tired of this way of thinking, EVEN considering that hey ... it would be cool actually to have a ganondorf as the main guy, but we all should know that would only happen if he is a servant of hyrule, which i would consider to be more out of character than ... GIVIING HIM ANY SORT OF DEPTH??? to sympthaize, be conflicted or see the guy you need to defeat has a point is like, not a bad thing?? you can make someone be the most sympathetic guy of all time and still make you fight him ??? and i will repeat again, ganondorf being a nothing burger (espeically in totk) hurts EVERYTHING, everything suffers from shitty writing and lack of writing, the thing that link and zelda are almost just as flat istn .. isnt good either?? its also bad but hes got it way worse (and the racism oh bOI)!!! (there is a reason why ww ganondorf is widely seen as the best one and itse literally bc he says ONE or two lines that may make you think omg .. he is person.... he might FEEL OoO- man the bar really is below the ground isnt it)

and they dont even care to try to make him actually be dislikable, he doesnt tease zelda with killing her father or soemthing, he doesnt have any sort of connection to any of them, every line he says (in totk) is like a prepackaged microwave villain line, you could apply it to anyone, even rauru and it wouldnt seem out of place tbh (which is BAD), more depth would have connected him to the story, the world the literal everything which means people care which means a better story i dont know how to explain to you that you should be able to care about characters??????? he gets the stamp of "evil guy" on his head and they expect you to be happy with that, accept any stupid thing they make him do and others say about him without question? do you NOT feel at least a little insulted???

and like, this is still written, this is a piece of fiction, they had to sit down and write all that, or .. well, NOT write it, they decided to do it like this, despite the ocean of potential in front of them, you could do so many itneresting thigns with this world and they jsut dont and then theres people like this that are so entrechned into this boring ass writing they think that its the point, liek the point is its bad hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

“Hi is this Azzi Fudd?” A girl says over the phone “Yes, and who is this?” Azzi responds back “I’m Mrs. Smith, one of your daughters teachers. Um im calling because Saylor is failing my class and two others. We have tried to help her but it doesn’t seem to be working. She failed her test for my class yesterday and it’s not looking good for the tests in the other two classes either.” Mrs. Smith says over the phone

“What? That’s not like Saylor, she normally does really good in school.” Azzi replies confused “Thats what me and her other teachers have been talking about. We didn’t know if maybe there was something going on at home to make her not be concentrating, or maybe her friend group?”

“No, No there’s nothing going on at home. As for her friend group I don’t really know. I’ll talk to her other mom and we will try to figure it out, thank you for calling” Azzi says to mrs. smith with both of them saying byes then hanging up

Azzi sighs pulling the phone from her ear and going to Paige’s contact- not knowing if she’s gonna answer or not because Paige was at a photo shoot

“Hey Az, what’s up?” Paige says over the phone after picking up on the 2nd ring “are you busy?” Azzi asks “nah, I just left the photo shoot figured I would stop at the store and get stuff for dinner and then maybe bring home some lunch? You good with chipotle or you want something else?” Paige asks

“Chipotle is fine, but um I just got a call from one of Saylors teachers” Azzi says to Paige, “What? Is Saylor ok? Do I need to go get her from school?”

“No. No, she’s fine but she’s failing some of her classes and her teachers are worried somethings going on at home or with her friends” Azzi says while packing her duffel and starting to walk to her car

“Well nothings going on at home and she should only be talking to her friends at school. She’s still grounded. So I don’t know what could possibly be happening in her friend group at school for her to be failing multiple classes. Hey I’m gonna FaceTime you I’m about to start driving”

Azzi doesn’t answer and just waits for the FaceTime call, accepting it when it appears on her phone “maybe it’s the grounding?” Azzi says confused while watching Paige start driving and turn onto the main road

“If it is the grounding she needs to get over it immediately. She knew she wasn’t gonna get away with sneaking out, we would have found out eventually. We need to just sit her down and make her talk to us-“ Paige starts but Azzi cuts in “but that’s easier said than done”

“Exactly!” Paige starts “FUCK! What is happening with her? Is it us? Did we do something to make her start acting out? Do we need to get her like a therapist or something?” Paige stresses

Azzi has already started making her way home while Paige was going to the store. “I don’t think we’ve done anything. She started acting out like 2 years ago-“

“When we had her transfer schools.” Paige cuts in “Do you think that’s it? She’s mad at us for her transferring so she’s punishing us by acting out?” Azzi says pulling into the garage and sitting in the car

“I can’t think of anything else, can you?” Paige asks still driving to get to the store

“No, not really.” Azzi sighs “I just want our daughter back to her normal self. It’s like she’s possessed by something.” Azzi now stresses

“I get it mama, I do. I want her back too but I don’t know, maybe we do family therapy?” Paige asks pulling into a parking spot at the store and grabbing her phone from the phone holder on the dashboard

“Couldn’t hurt” Azzi says pinching the bridge of her nose “I’ll let you go I can see you just pulled into the store. Im probably gonna go take a shower and then start cleaning, let me know what you decide for dinner yeah?”

“You go it. I love you” Paige responds

“I love you too”

After a few hours of Paige and Azzi hanging out and watching movies, Saylor finally gets home and walks through the door

“Hey baby come in the living room for a few please” azzi says out to Saylor who was a few rooms away literally just walking through the door

“Give me a sec mom” Saylor shouts taking off her shoes by the front door and setting her backpack by them. Saylor grabs the emergency phone and then walks to the living room, tossing it onto the cushion next to Azzi

“What do I have to be in here for?” Saylor asks “here take a seat” azzi says pointing to the love seat across from Paige and Azzi, making Saylor look at her confused but doing it anyway

“Your teacher called, saying that your failing a few different classes” azzi started “We have to ask, are you actually struggling or are you just faking it as a way to get back at us for grounding you? Cause we can help you if you’re actually struggling or we can pay someone to tutor you but we’re not gonna do that if you’re just trying to get back at us.” Paige finishes for Azzi

Saylor just stays quiet with her head down looking at her hands making Paige and Azzi look at each other before Paige starts speaking again. “Saylor. Do you need help with school?” Paige says with a soft voice Saylor just keeps looking at her hands “bug?” Paige says still with a soft voice

Saylor takes a second before nodding her head slowly “you do need help?” Azzi asks making Saylor shake her head again

Paige and Azzi both get up and sit on either side of Saylor both hugging her “that’s all you had to say Saylor, you didn’t have to go through all that homework and tests knowing you were gonna fail. We would’ve helped you” Azzi says with her lips pressed against Saylors temple

Saylor just leans into both of them “hey, what are you struggling with?” Paige says softly

“Math, science, and history” Saylor mumbles out “well we can help you with those. Unless you want a tutor? Your choice” Paige says kissing Saylors temple while Azzi’s rubbing her back

Saylor just cuddles closer to Paige’s chest making her laugh “was that your answer?” She says amusingly making Saylor have a small smile on her face while nodding

“Alright” Azzi says giving Saylor another kiss on her forehead before standing up “you wanna help me with dinner and then after we can take a look at your homework? Maybe we can make some cookies too.”

Saylor looks up with her head still placed on Paige’s chest, and nods making Paige stand up and then pull Saylor up to her feet. “Cmon let’s go make dinner, I’m hungry” Paige says pulling Saylor and Azzi to the kitchen making both of them laugh but follow her anyways.

That’s how the Bueckers family spent the rest of their evening. Cooking dinner, baking cookies, and doing homework.

“I cannot believe you right now. I don’t even—I don’t even know what to say.” 

“Spencer, you don’t have to say anything. It has nothing to do with you, and I’m not looking for your approval.” 

He looks up from where he’d been rubbing his temples, like you’re a headache, eyebrows raised and lips parted in indignant disbelief. 

“Oh! You’re not looking for my approval? Well thank god for that, because if you were one of my students I would recommend expulsion to the board.” 

“Are you fucking kidding me? I just said I don’t care about your opinion on this, much less your hypothetical opinion from some alternate universe where you have any authority over my education whatsoever.” 

“You distributed an answer key to half of your class! Objectively this is the kind of thing that gets people expelled. I don’t understand how someone so smart could do something so fucking stupid.” 

The words bite more than you were prepared for—but what hurts even more is how much he seems to mean them. In arguments past you’d both said things you didn’t mean, and then would immediately melt into I’m so sorry’s and the fight would resolve itself. Spencer’s clenched jaw and inability to make eye contact with you do not lend themselves to tender apologies. They cannot be attributed to miscommunication. 

You take a step closer to where he’s bracing himself against the countertop, arms crossed defensively in front of your chest. 

“Spencer, I’m sorry. I didn’t think it was such a big deal. People cheat in college all the time.” 

Still no reply. His head shakes so minutely you wonder if you’re imagining it. Panic wells in your chest. 

“Please talk to me. I really hate when you ice me out. I’m sorry, okay? Just... please say something.” 

Finally, his eyes slide to you. They lack the fiery anger of moments ago but there’s not much softness there either. His normally warm gaze now feels too abrasive, too cold and sharp on your bare skin. You're exposed, much too soft for that grating look, and it feels like he can see everything that’s wrong with you. 

“Believe me when I tell you this. I am doing us both a favor by not speaking to you right now.” 

And then he’s leaving the kitchen—nothing but a breeze against your cheek and the sound of a door slamming to prove he was ever there. 

The apartment is silent. You stand in the middle of the kitchen, unsure of what to do next. Spencer very, very rarely gets angry at you to the point of neglect, and you know he’s doing his best with what was modelled for him as a child and his tendency to feel things so deeply it’s nearly disabling; but that doesn’t make it hurt much less. It doesn’t make you feel less abandoned or alone.  

You’re sad, and you’re still pissed, and maybe you’re in just a bit of shock as you robotically move back to your nest of blankets on the couch and resume your schoolwork. What else is there to do? Unless Spencer is right—unless you really are about to get expelled after getting the answer key for an upcoming test from a friend, who then gave it to another friend, and so on. But is that really your fault?  

It’s a struggle to stay focused as your mind keeps drifting back to Spencer in the other room, those cruel words and that cold steely look in his eye that isn’t supposed to ever be aimed at you. It’s not a secret that side of him exists, but it doesn’t belong in this apartment. It’s not something he needs to use against you. He’s supposed to be on your side. But instead, he’d said you should be expelled and essentially called you stupid. And now you’re doing homework for a class at a school you may not even be a student of come Monday.

The sound of the office door opening forty-five minutes later spikes your blood pressure and simultaneously makes your heart flutter, because no matter how mad at him you might be, Spencer is still Spencer.  

He comes to stand behind the couch quietly, but you don’t acknowledge him. Maybe your typing gets a bit more aggressive, but aside from that you flat out reject his presence. 

“Can we talk?” 

You let him sweat for a minute as you finish your paragraph. 

“I don’t know, Spencer. Can we? Or are you not done with your temper tantrum?” 

“That is... well deserved,” he sighs, rounding the couch and tapping the bottom of your foot, signaling that he wants you to move your legs. You despise how automatically you comply, pulling your knees to your chest to avoid touching him as he sits next to you. There’s a long moment of silence, in which you resume typing. Spencer scoffs, leaning in slightly to peer at your screen. “Are you doing homework right now? I’m a complete asshole to you and you just... do your homework?"

“What the fuck else was I supposed to do?” you almost-yell, slamming your laptop shut and blinking away potential tears. “The only person I wanted to talk to called me stupid and fucking left!” 

The tears realize their potential once you admit the blunt truth. 

Spencer carefully moves your laptop and pulls you into his arms—and you just let him. There’s not much fight left in you. There wasn’t a lot to begin with. 

“I am so sorry, angel. You’re right, I shouldn’t have done that. I shouldn’t have yelled, I shouldn’t have said what I said, I shouldn’t have walked away. I overreacted.” 

“Yeah, you really did,” you cry, allowing him to run his hand over your hair. “Why did you do that? Why were you so fucking mean?” 

His voice shakes slightly as he responds, betraying his own anxieties, and a new, unwelcome sense of trepidation slithers through your veins. 

“I was wondering that, too. Even as I was saying it, I knew—I knew it wasn’t what I wanted to be saying. And then I was in the other room and I wanted to be out here, and I couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t. But I think I was just scared. Which—I know, doesn’t really make sense, but... I think about when Ethan dropped out of the academy, and ended up doing heroin in New Orleans for three years, and I think about when I almost left the BAU because I was so convinced I’d never get clean that I didn’t even want to anymore, and—and the idea of you losing your education and your direction like that terrified me, probably unreasonably, and I took it out on you. And I’m sorry.” 

“But I’m not like you or Ethan. You don’t have to worry about that. Even if I... even I do get in some sort of disciplinary trouble. That’s a road you don’t have to worry about me going down, ever.” 

He fixes some unseen wrinkle on your shirt.  

“Yeah, but, remember... I used to not be like me or Ethan either. Do you think twelve-year-old Spencer would have ever even considered that of the infinite realities and universes which exist, he was living in one where someday he’d be shooting up in the bathroom at work?” 

“Mm-mm,” you hum, shaking your head and burying your face in Spencer’s shoulder. The sound is more of a plea for him to be less descriptive than an answer to his rhetorical question. It’s still much easier for him to talk about that part of his life than it is for you to have to actually imagine it. You didn’t know him then, but you’ve seen pictures, and you know Spencer now, and it’s... it’s just too much. Too sad. 

“Okay,” he agrees soothingly, still playing with your hair. “I digress. My point is that literally anything is possible, and while it’s not necessarily likely, I more than anyone know that anxiety even over the most improbable of things is never completely unfounded.”  

You sniffle in response, too emotionally and physically exhausted to contribute much to the conversation by this point. Thankfully, Spencer can talk for two. An idiosyncrasy which you love and comes in handy every once in a while. He can play his own devil’s advocate; in this case, you. 

“But that doesn’t mean I get to take it out on you. Ever. I truly, truly, sincerely apologize for that. I never want to hurt you.” 

You let the apology sink into your skin like a salve, soothing every abrasion those earlier words had left in their violent wake. 

After a few minutes, you find the energy to ask a question that might best remain unanswered. 

“Are you still mad at me?” 

He’s quiet for a beat, seemingly contemplative as his fingers trace abstract patterns in a language all his own on your arm. 

“I’m not thrilled. But you were right earlier. It’s not my place to be mad at you for something like that.” 

“Mm... it’s a little bit your place. You’re an actual professor.” 

He chuckles. 

“At an entirely different university.” 

“Thank god,” you laugh. “You and me at the same school would be such an HR clusterfuck.”

While it’s almost a serious matter, the smile in his voice is evident. 

“Yeah... I, uh... try not to think about it.” 

“Okay, but seriously. In your professional opinion. Am I fucked? Like, do I need to prepare an appeal and character witnesses or whatever?” 

Spencer sighs. 

“It was incredibly reckless and irresponsible. You should be ready for disciplinary pushback from the schoolboard if you get caught. That being said... because over sixty of you got a hold of the answer key, I doubt anyone is getting expelled, and even if they did, it would likely only be the TA and the student he gave the key to. It’s my tentative, professional opinion that you’ll probably be fine.” 

You relax slightly, allowing a tension you didn’t realize was there to shed like an old skin. 

“I’m not gonna cheat again,” you promise on an exhale. It’s simply too much risk for too little reward.

Spencer’s response is quiet, and comes much faster than you’d expected. 

“Oh, I know you aren’t. Because if you do, you’re going to have to worry about disciplinary action from me. And I’m not nearly as nice as the dean of your school, darling girl.” 

But something about the way he says it—a thinly veiled threat/promise contrasted by a sweet kiss to your forehead—doesn’t exactly make academic honesty look all that exciting.

I NEED SLIGHTLY MORE THAN THIS FOR A PROMPT like 80% of my headcanons are angsty (i will absolutely dump paragraphs if i have enough of a prompt because thats what i do whenever we get any new crumb of pressure lore)

in terms of angst my aus are way worse than my headcanons and I'm not too sure what hcs to pull up so you get au infodump since they're more like headcanons about what i think would happen in slightly diff endings of pressure instead of true AU's

also i got a little carried away this is practically rough draft fanfiction i'm so sorry

ALL THREE of my AU's actually kind of work in tandem to explore how I feel Sebastian works as a character, I think no matter what, he doomed by the narrative to never get what he truly wants or have a perfect happy ending.

I'm only going to get into the specifics of one, but the rundown of all 3

Innovation Humanization (lowkey this fic is abandoned im too busy) Sebastian escapes the Blacksite during the power outage and Innovation hijacking a sub for him, he manages to bring Painter with him. He arrives at Innovation Arctic Base, and they go through the process of bringing him back to mostly human again over the next 6mo-year. He has to re-experience his greatest traumas ALL OVER again, but this time done by people that actually kind of care about him as a human being.

This is basically my "good ending" for him, he isn't a fish anymore, but he never gets his legs back. He has painter, and he has time to deal with his trauma. (I think innovation would have a therapist, and thats really the only therapist he COULD talk to about what he went through at urbanshade, normal therapy really wouldn't work.. you need the one that works at a kooky mad scientist base. He may or may not be able to see his family again, depends how evil you think urbanshade would be (if they'd hunt them down to find him so they can neutralize him)

Instantly Human He gets to be, perfectly, how he was before all this started. But he has to escape the Blacksite. Which is HARD AS FUCK.

This is a bit of spoilers for what part 2 to the comic is gonna be but, he has to knowingly leave behind Painter to die (he can't carry a computer as a person, too heavy). That's a "choice" he has to make. He also has no evidence that anything ever happened to him. Teleported Home Lopee teleports Sebastian back home as his "reward" instead of turning him human like the IH au. Sebastian arrives at home in the middle of the day to his mother cleaning in the kitchen. I'll get into the details after this quick rundown

He gets to see his mom instantly! He doesn't have to deal with escaping the Blacksite! But . He's probably stuck as a fish and in hiding for a whiiile until they can contact Innovation for help. He also involuntarily leaves Painter behind to die in this one as well. He never got to even say goodbye or sorry. Painter is just wondering where Sebastian went (before he inevitably gets killed in a few days/weeks). And he's haunted by that (but also MAD at lopee). He let the kid down. More than let the kid down, he could do literally nothing about this lil guy he was protecting, dying an inevitable death.

You can't have everything Sebastian… Something must suck in some way… Urbanshade has permanently fucked your life

ok now for the details on the teleported home au this is practically a fanfiction that i didn't want to rewrite into actual writing because thats hard so forgive the like, swaps between writer thoughts and writing i know its weird 😭but i hope fun to read regardless!!

SO! Sebastian gets teleported home, Lopee is nice enough to make sure he's crouched down so his head doesn't go through the ceiling.

i dont know if ill ever do final art for this so you get my ms paint diagrams i hope you can bear with me. i gotta establish the setting here, it's in SoCal, middleish of the day. Sebastian was last in the norwegian sea at 9pm (yes this is an accurate time difference im autistic)

His mom is utterly terrified and screams and runs outside upon making eye contact with him. Who wouldn't?! Sebastian is kind of dazed and confused for a moment, he's HOME, and his MOM is 10 feet in front of him. One second he was in a chilly damp concrete box with menacing facility breaking down noises all around him, the next he's in a warm comforting home in the middle of the day with bird calls and shit. That's an insane transition.

He has to think quickly and chase after her even if he's really confused, he can't have the cops called on him and his identity exposed. I don't think she would fully recognize his voice, I choose to believe fishseb sounds different from humanseb due to the experimentation messing with his vocal chords/overall resonance. But his tone is similar to her.

She doesn't want to look at this Thing that's leaning outside of the doorway of her house, but, .. he does oddly remind her of her son.. but he's been declared dead for over 12 years now.. but the hair.. the look in his eyes. He honestly looks like he's about to cry to her , subtly trembling, hunched over like he doesn't want to scare her, but his arm weakly outreached like he doesn't want her to run away.

He's entirely conscious of the fact that he really shouldn't be seen outside right now so he's trying to stay mostly inside the doorway. He went after her on pure survival instinct/adrenaline. Hes so keenly aware of how utterly terrifying he is to her right now and feeling Miserable about being a creature a million times worse than he normally is because he's been thrust into ice cold reality of what he is. Which is something that humans should be terrified of

He didn't even get a chance to ease his mom into it, she's DOUBLY scared because there's a THING/GUY in the house and not just because he's a monster

He asks for her to come back inside so they can talk, she's still really scared but wants to believe its him. He's intentionally moving slowly while backing inside the house to not scare her more.

He doesn't sit on the couch since he's worried his weight might pop the springs (even just the upper torso) so he's just curled up in a pile near it trying to make himself look as unthreatening as possible. And he's ALSO trying to calm down like he needs a moment to breathe and take in his surroundings

She walks in all the way and sees him. He's truly trying not to scare her.. isn't he.. Sebastian was sweet like that.. She takes a breath to steady herself and asks him if he wants something to drink since she really needs a glass of water to help clear her mind

"Heh.. whiskey?.. I know you have it up in the cupboard above the freezer. Used to water it down back in the day. I never knew if you ever noticed." Sebastian was intentionally trying to bring up information that would help her believe he was himself, but also he could really use a drink.. and a smoke.. but he knew his mom hated those. If only she knew he used to sneak out to smoke years ago.

His mother just looks at him with an indiscernible look. Did he say the wrong thing? His ears pin back, he clears his throat. "Water is fine, I was uh..joking about the whiskey." (felt like this dialogue i wrote was really in-character/cute so I had to include it)

I think when they sit down with their waters to talk he, he explains the entire timeline of what happened to him. And once he starts explaining the experimentation she's trying to be quiet to be respectful to hear the whole story but she is absolutely crying. And she goes in for a hug around when he hits the point where he was promoted to Mr-p.

He can feel her shaking when she hugs him, she's still scared of him, but he knows she's trying so hard to comfort him and ignore her instinctual fear.

And they continue to hug as he explains the rest as well as the lockdown and Lopee teleporting him. He leaves out any details about him killing people, can't have mama knowing he's an actual killer now.. I think that his mom knew he was innocent and he is a victim of the legal system

I think Sebastian probably goes to bed around 9-10pm every day because I wouldn't be surprised if the Blacksite had him up really early for work assignments often. So after he talks with his mom for a bit he's noticeably really sleepy because it is Past his bedtime in Norway and ALSO because for the first time in a long time he's actually relaxed. He isn't in fish prison hell anymore!

They generally just hang out for a while after talking, and he passes out from exhaustion. She tries to put a blanket on him, but he violently jumps back while also shoving her away since it felt like another expendable climbing on him. (Side tangent I think he has an unnatural tendency for violence from his fishes in Addition to anger issues caused by ptsd)

He feels awful and profusely apologizes and they make up :)

that's about all i wrote for the start of it, but i had some smaller thoughts about later on

I realized he needs to eat a LOT and it'd be a major financial strain on his mom, I did the math and his calorie needs are like ~14-16k a day (THIS IS REALLY ROUGH but genuinely calculated with formulas and like muscle volume calculations ive done + adjusted to what i think makes sense, this is the Lower end of what i think it'd be. He might need more. It'd be more like 10k cal a day if he's true cold blooded. I feel like character wise it makes sense for him to be medium blooded but true cold blooded would really help him in terms of being Alive)

She basically has to keep him fed on costco rotisserie chicken because that is the absolute cheapest protein she can get (buying a whole frozen cow is still way more per oz than costco chicken) So he costs at minimum ~1000$ a month to feed.

He would be very cognizant of this and try not to eat too much and basically half starve himself. On like day 3-4 he is noticeably really, really out of it. All he can really think about is food and his mom is really worried about him. He really doesn't want to tell her but he'd eventually cave and be like 😓i need to eat like triple the amount of food you've been giving me. so she locks in and gets him some more food. Might have to take out a loan 😭 They really try to get him to innovation ASAP after this because she really can't afford to feed him for more than a few months.

im gonna bring up the new information we have of bill cipher and also the reverse falls au, so im popping it under a cut for ppl who dont wanna see that. im not too great at expressing my ideas, so if anything is confusing, please ask for clarification. it's entirely on me i promise

OK OK OK, so bill ciphers backstory got revealed. the way it seems to have happened was that his dimension existed on a 2d plane but he had an eye that let him see in 3d, and therefore out his dimension and into the stars. he tried showing them what he was seeing but ended up destroying the universe on accident instead, which drove him into madness.

with the new information we have, its revealed that in therapy bill has been drawing 2 different colored triangles: blue and red. these are his parents, or at least we're pretty much made to assume that.

with the resurgence of gravity falls, ive also been seeing reverse falls coming back, and it got me thinking

In the world of TTG, I didn't think through enough to know where exactly Annabeth and Percy die in each other’s arms, but it could've happened during The Titan’s Curse, that somehow they weren't fast enough and Thalia became 16 and therefore the prophecy fell upon her shoulders and things went wrong.

So Percy is sent back to her birth as Perse, but now with all the memory she has of the future. And in this new timeline, the world doesn't forget about her.

kyousuke+yoko: I think the strength of their relationship is that they don't have much of a relationship. in a lot of ways yoko is peak The Girl Character and a lot of times that would mean her crushing on the main character. but the kyousuke/zonette relationship means she doesn't have to care about kyousuke as more than a coworker

kenta+miku: I like how they're the two dummies of the genius team. it was funny when miku briefly thought she had a crush on shun but he ditched her for kenta. their relationship is cute as is but the more you read into gay stuff happening the more charming I find it

ryouma+saya: I don't remember what they were like together. kid sister vibes I think

tatsuya+yuuri: genuinely very cute and charming relationship. I love how he's sincere and friendly and she's locked down like fort knox so you really feel the intimacy when he finally manages to get her walls down

ban+umeko: I think it sucks that the big joke with them was umeko claiming to be the leader of the dekarangers and ban would be like "um Im the leader" like what exactly does he have that she doesn't. they're both goofy and impulsive

-when nervous/anxious his footsteps will be completely silent out of habit from the whole assassin thing, and he'd obviously do it when purposefully trying to sneak (he has probably scared rainbow or Lucas multiple times by doing this..)

-I'm not sure weather to headcanon that his wings were damaged by a steve really early on in the steve saga (like before rainbow could speak or maybe when dark was still pretending to be blue) or if it was smth that happened when he was still an assassin but it's one of those!!!

its such a big mistake to try to find comic character posts on reddit. hold on its midnight im in hater mode again thinking about a post i saw like three weeks ago. it is just impossible to me to try to reason out that multiverse of madness scene as normal good in character writing. like i KNOW nobody knows anything about black bolt and those are the people who like the scene but ohhhh it makes my teeth hurt.

black bolt does not scream in fear he does not panic gasp he does not DO those things this is an integral unable to be changed part of his character. thats one of his major main unextractable things. he keeps his composure no matter what.

the ONLY way he talks if hes in a last option situation where nobody he likes and nobody uninvolved gets hurt. that and very very VERY desperate situations where he determines it is the best option they have. i straight up do not care if he was panicking he would have internalized that shit bc thats what he DOES. there is nothing about that situation where black bolt would completely disregard the fact that he had three friends standing VERY close by and the population of the city he was in. he would not know what would happen if he screamed there! he could have destroyed the entire earth! he would NEVER have yelled about some temporary magic that wasnt even HURTING him!!!

•tim on the other hand, also acts like darry (VERY slightly, but theres a difference u cant ignore). im not saying he wears his heart on his sleeve now, but he becomes less of a leader/dictator, more of a chaperone, just watching over the gang. he taught his gang how to act, they should no what to do, so unless someone is dying count him out bc hes just so tired of everything rn. if u have a problem take it up w his second in command, hes outta commission!!!

•darrys a guy who likes to put his 100% in everything he does but lately hes been doin the bare minimum in everything he does at home and hes more cut n dry. when its his turn to cook, w all due respect his food SUCKS, hes rough without meaning to be (physically, not so much verbally) and hes less tolerant of everyone. hes not MAD per say, just annoyed, “suck his teeth and tells the gang to get it together” type upset, ironicallyyyy acts like tim!!!

•IS the curtis gang an actual gang??? nope, but they still have their own turf and tim would respect that normally, take his business some place else, in this instance however☝🏽☝🏽☝🏽i could see tim not respecting that and breaching that to do his own deals. is he doing it to show off to darry that hes better??? is he doing that to just show disrespect and get attention??? i was gonna say u decide but no its most certainly that last one, while hes a good leader, tim can get sloppy when its something personal affecting him, he wants darry to not ignore him

•theres a day and specific time of the week where darry goes out to bucks bar (less to drink more to just hand w tim) and darrys been finding any excuse he can to NOT go, if tim calls darry just tells the gang to say hes busy. he says he doesnt have to unwind by seeing him but the gang knows that rlly was his way of calming down for the week and darrys not doin so well rn

•when something goes wrong in tims life he uses it as a lesson to teach curly “dont let ur personal life get into anything else, save urself, nobody outside family will have ur back”, without fail he will say something along those lines, and each time curly wishes the whole thing would wrap up already, wtf this gotta do w me man

•see now its not ridiculous to say that darry would think about pony and curly and think how everything is simpler for them and wish how that was him and tim, its NOT ridiculous to say that at all, theyre more free than him and tim will ever b, together AND individually, so i just think that gets to darry sometimes, we can let darry b a lil jealous that should b allowed

•tim already sneaks into the house and no matter what darry lets anyone who needs help inside, soda and pony dont MEAANNNN to eaves drop, but when u wake up in the middle of the night to rushed hushed voices, ur gonna hear what those mfs r saying no matter what

i had 3 dreams

one was a trip to the beach where everyone kept telling us not to swim. i was chilling in morocco n some white ppl wouldn’t leave me alone once they saw i spoke english. it got to the point where i was like ya im gonna have to go in that ocean to shake them. i go in, duck my head eyes open to see what’s going on in there and immediately backed out the water. it was shallow at first then there was like a 5-10 foot drop and after that was several large sea creatures sitting in a line, staring directly at the shoreline. my eyes focused on this giant walrus n i was like ok we need to leave. they do not want us here

2nd dream was kinda interconnected

it was a bunch of ppl who were at that beach trying to catch a bus home. When the bus comes i’m about to board n realize i didn’t check the number of the bus before getting on so i asked the driver. he looked like he was drowsy or drunk like head lolling back long response time. but then he was smiling n acting normal so i started laughing like this guys hilarious maybe he was trying to make me think he was drunk driving the bus.

anyway me n the driver have this rapport but i see him treat all the other passengers like shit when they’re coming on. one lady was holding her young child n looked at me like it was my fault. anyway as the bus starts driving ppl get nervous bc the route looks different.

the driver gets up from his seat but the bus keeps going. he gives me a dress n walks back. the woman with the baby hates my guts harder. i’m like lady pls we clearly have bigger fish to fry. everyone on the bus ends up falling asleep and we wake up completely nude. at this point i’m like did we die at that beach? are we going to hell? except i still have the dress w me.

the lady with the baby has been treating me like shit the whole bus ride at this point. every time she talks about what’s happening she’s pointing at me. but i feel bad she’s naked n scared so i figure out a way to rip the dress so we’re both covered up. then i woke up bc irl my cat laid her little head on my elbow 🥺

anyway 3rd dream

it was a bunch of students at some prestigious private school in the netherlands or germany that kinda vibe. there’s this group of girls that loses track of their friend and freak out n start looking for her everywhere. then one of them gets a call from an unknown number telling them she’s in the bathroom and so is her little sister.

so they run there and see the little sister standing in the middle of the room. they hear noises and decide not to immediately walk into the room but observe. they see someone who has scraggly king brown hair shuffle out of the stall with a bucket of blood and walk into a different stall.

the girls wait until the stall door closes and quietly pick up the little sister and run away. they start getting mad bc their friend is clearly dead. and they know it was bc she went out on her own. these girls had some agreement that anytime you went out, at least 6 girls needed to also be walking around.

they had this walk that they believed was magical. 6 girls walked in different directions in specific formation around the school and they believed it prevented harm-specifically rape and murder to anyone else walking around at the time.

like what happened was she & i were sitting at the table together eating. and we were talking and having a normal convo and then she got up & i stayed there and started fixing my knitting. that's when he came home, she wanted to record the dog's reaction to him coming home so she immediately started filming and ofc the dog was going crazy eand she kept trying to get me to look & stuff but i. do not care & don't find it cute . so i just stayed quiet & didn't say anything bc i dind't want to say anything abt it and ruin the video. so he wasn't even paying attention to me he was focused on patting the dog in the living room and i was sitting at the dining room table.

then she stops recording her phone and immediately gets so pissed at me like omg you didn't say hi to him that;s so rude thats not how you treat people when they come to your house etc etc her little.. lecture she does... and i'm like. 1)im literally sitting here waiting for u guys to be done with the dog bc i dont want to participate 2)hes not a guest coming into the home he fucking lives here 3)he literally doesn't give a fuck and i know he doesnt the only one that cares is her ???? like after she got pissed at me he came into the room and said "hi" to me and walked away (i did say "hi" back) bc he didn't care about interacting with me ??? and then he got pissed off at her and said she ruined him coming back bc shes being rude intervening between his & my relationship when it is completely unnecessary and he wasn't upset with me.

and then she started saying weird shit to me like "ohhh i know what ur doing... u were asking me earlier if im excited about him coming back... its not a competition between u two... now ur calling me rude to try to pretend like u werent being rude" and other things i literally do not know what she even meant about that like. she loves reading into everything i do as being malicious fsr. also she then got upset about how when she went overseas & came back i didn't like get really excited to see her again and hug her ???? i think she just expects me to be like. someone else. and gets mad every time i'm me. and this got her really emotional and she started crying and i 'm just like. ok u dor ealise this started because you started screaming a tme about not saying hi to your stupid boyfriend right

and i have so much to say lol my blog doesnt reach a lot of people but its my tumblr and its my space so whatever

(this seems so intimatidating even to me i swear its not its just a rant)

first, i CANNOT believe that she did this. she dropped this news on a random friday, start of my english class, where we were supposed to put our phones away and watch the fucking movie (which was the book thief, so sad me and my frinds almost started crying) and it was an EFFORT to keep my phone away cause i JUST saw the post and was trying to open up her website to read the letter but its ok i did eventually i just read it very quick.

there was so much exciting news lowkey my stomach was doing backflips cause i saw the pictures with her holding her albums and was like, ummmm wtf is this :/. this is not normal. and my mind went to rep tv which was stupid but its engraved in my brain to clown for rep tv 😭. anyways she had her OG (not stolen anymoreeee) and was so flabberghasted loll

ANYWAYS what realy stood out to me was when she said that when she basically said that she was so close to havng it and then it being left like GUYS. THIS IS SO HUGE IM SO HAPPY FOR HER I GENUINLY DONT KONW HOW TO FEEL. i havent been a fan of her since i was a kid, i only REALLY started listeing to her the night ttpd came out, but shes like part of my routine to listen to her songs and talk about new theories and stuff and its been SO FUN.

im just glad that she has them back, she really deserves them and also her using the money from the eras tour was SUCH A SMART MOVE. like im assuming thats probably why she had that tour, cause logically it shouldv been a midnights themed tour right? (ok ik i have to consider lover, folkolre, and evermore that all got lost in the pandemic, but its just something i thought about) just something that didnt add up to me kind of. but either way, we all helped her in a way so i think we desrve to give ourselves a pat on our backs, even if you didnt go to the shows.

ok so other things i have in mind is obvs about rep and debut. I know we have been clowning for rep for around 2-3 YEARS so obviously its what we are thinking about. i know a lot of people are thinking abt rep tv and the vault tracks. SOOOOO about that lol she did even record quarter of that album. allllllll that clowning omg we REALLY WERE CLOWNS i lowkey feel stupid but its alright, its all for fun. (im she she saw it too, esp after her being like, i know i know, what about rep tv? LMFAO) also, anyone who takes clowning seriously and gets genuinly mad and upset at her.... idk what to tell you, fix yourself maybe? anyways the concept of rep tv possibly being released after ttpd was kind of jarring bc think about what ttpd was about and then think about was rep was about... like shes not going to rerecord that so soon after ttpd 😭. i did like the idea of it being released before debut tv bc itll be her reputation and then her name, but still, eh. I totally get why this wouldve been a difficult thing to re record because it was one of her most lowest points in her career, full of raw emotion, and redoing that is just impossible. I do believe we might get vault trancks, like she did say its a posibility, but i dont think thats going to be soon. this is such a huge part of her life, there;'s definetly going to be some sort of reset or rebrand (not neccesarily an album) that might happen, so i dont thnk she will delve into rep that soon. idk if she WILL do it tho, but personally i know ill be very excited if it comes out lol.

ok onto debut. she did say she re recorded that, but idk when she might release that. i mean technically there isnt rlly value to her releasing debut tv version, but idk maybe she might as its her forst album, her namesake, defnietly important to her that she wants to bring to light again. ive never listened to debut (sorry) but i wont feel guilty about listeing to stolen versions anymore so i just might!!! again, i cannot believe we were closer to potentially getting debut tv then rep with all of our clowning 😭😭😭.

ok, now onto the future lol. like a said, something refreshing, like some sort of rebrand (even i dont know what i mean by this, but like something that doesn't keep dwelling on past albums and stuff (???)) im not sure if its anything necessarily new. In reagan baylee's video, she says that this might be like the end for the ttpd era, which, honestly, makes sense. personally ttpd is in the time where you cant really experience to its full extent, like you just HAD to be there (personal opinion), so i definetly think there might be some new vibes. i feel like clowning for multiple things might not be there, but clowning as a whole,,,, i mean thats like a cannon event for swifties and theres no way taylor is gonna stop dropping easter eggs.

now for ts12, i know there are a lot of theories, and ik this is kinda going against what i JUST said, but ts12 will come at some point. in my mind its gonna be a happier, grown up lover. like glitter gel pen songs all overrrr. especially bc honestly lover couldve been sooooo much more but bc of her losing her albums and the pandemic and such, that era was cut short, and then the albums after weren't really pop song, cute, happy albums too, so hopefully ts12 is like that.
