testing negative for COVID now! this is the first of the four COVID infections i've had that hasn't Completely Fucking Destroyed my body for Weeks. YAAAY

Mihawk had a hard time adjusting to the Monkey family diet and would suffer from having a weaker immune system. It went mostly unnoticed by Garp. He had gotten a worse reaction from Dragon when he was younger and just thought that Mihawk would just "grow into liking it."

Dragon noticed that his little brother was suffering from the food and started learning how to make proper meals for him. It took him a while to get the hang of it, but eventually, he started meals that wouldn't leave Mihawk sick. It was a bonus that he started enjoying making food. After a while, he would let Mihawk help him and teach him how to make and prepare meals.

Garp was practically banned from the kitchen but didn't mind since he got to avoid making food.

I haaaate the show's explanation for Ellie's immunity being "her mom was bitten while giving birth". That's not how the immune system works. That's not how mother-baby exchange of cells works. That's not how bodies work!!!! An infection with an incubation period of a few hours would either also infect the baby OR not affect the baby at all (baby is born and umbilical cord cut immediately, like show Ellie). There would be no time in which immune cells could develop, neither in the mom or the baby. That's not how any of it works

vincent was a pretty frail child and spent a lot of time stuck in bed because he was sick. he got over that in adulthood but fucking dying kind of reset that progress. he catches every other virus that goes around now and most of the time cloud and the gang have to force him to chill tf out and rest

I don't think that's even possible, given the parasitic nature of sanitized ink. Without going too deep into the details, you'd probably have to drain me completely dry, which would genuinely, really kill me. And if I did happen to survive, by some miracle, I'd probably end up with even more medical problems, anyway.

Thanks for the offer, though. If it puts your mind at ease, the discoloration is the least of my problems with my condition.

coming up with zombie apocalypse stories is always fun because you can just say whatever and people will just have to take your word for it

#personal #oh it doesn't make sense? zombie media rarely makes sense if you really think about it we're here to have fun be quiet #for this one specifically they've created some fertilizer with a newly discovered fungus as ingredient #because of its regenerative abilities it would be great for crops because they'll grow better and faster and whatever #but soon enough it turns out that the fungus can make you very very sick and well. that's how it all starts #original strain only turns a handful of its victims into zombies because it targets people with strong immune systems #the stronger your immune system the more likely your body ends up being to start taking on the functions of the fungus cells #which means it starts regenerating a bunch of dead cells and then you become a ghoul. oops!#but then you can also start changing other people into zombies which is how it ends up escalating because the original strain itself #wouldn't be strong enough to end the world but the fact you can turn others is what makes it spiral #especially big cities become vulnerable because the zombies are like. highly adaptable?? you get different types of zombies in different #environments so like city zombies are super fast but not too sturdy so they die quick but also change 1-3 other people before they go #and countryside zombies are a lot sturdier and tougher to kill but also are just much slower etc etc and so on #and because it's all in a fertilizer there's also zombie plants!! which is fun because they're an invasive species #so there's just zombie nature taking over regular nature and zombies can use these like #zombie forests to regenerate in and all that :] horrible times all around!

got diagnosed with a UTI which isn’t even a UTI and may actually be interstitial cystitis. contracted bacterial pink eye which turned into an ear infection. picked up some virus at work that has me on day 3 of a vertigo episode. still on antibiotics for the ear infection so not only is the room spinning because of whatever the hell is happening in my inner ear but now i am chewing ice to keep from dry heaving and who even knows what the state of my gut bacteria is rn with all the antibiotics ive been on. and thats what you missed on glee
