I don’t know if you’ve already done a request like this before but I was wondering if you could write for Legolas and Elrond with a reader who is a dragon shifter. The reader is super affectionate and kind of like a cat, hugging them randomly and rubbing their face against them but also fiercely protective of them. The reader can be a little chaotic at times since they’re a rather young shifter (in dragon years they’re basically a teenager). How would they react upon first meeting them and getting to know the reader?
I’ve been resurrected guys. Wasn’t feeling motivated but was going through my inbox and old posts and decided, eh what the hell. Lets do this one! Probably won’t be great but I feel like putting something out.
Legolas & Elrond x dragonshifter!reader
Legolas:
-He is absolutely fascinated
-We should remember he is also young (by elf standards that is)
-So he matches any rambunctiousness with equal strength
-First meeting he would be super respectful and maybe a little shy
-But once he sees you’re chill he’s all in
-He immediately is coming up with ideas for tricks you two can do
-Will try and “surf” on your back as you fly and shoot his bow
-Despite his impeccable balance; initially this ends with a lot of Legolas getting humbled
-Ok…maybe sometimes you purposely try to throw him off…just maybe
-In terms of being affectionate while in dragon form he loves it
-Likes to pretend you are his pet when you guys go out to mess with people
-Will pull stunts to make it look like he’s “tamed a beast”
-Push him over with the snoot
-He deserves it; and secretly loves it
-Elves may not be the most physically affectionate but I think Legolas would be an exception
-As someone who has met cows; hugging the big heads is so nice. So imagine that even bigger! Incredible
-Will sit kinda wrapped in your tail while reading or snoozing
-Finds you being protective absolutely hilarious but also annoying
-Depending on the situation it’s either “Yeah you better run!” or “dude. I had that handled”
Elrond:
-So I stick with the idea that this guy is like “ok” to literally anything at this point
-Like I’m sorry but he’s just seen too much to really give a shit
-This doesn’t mean he doesn’t think you are incredible
-Yet another child for him to adopt; hopefully this one doesn’t date one of his other kids…
-Anyway
-I think he would try and keep your gift a secret
-He would urge you NOT to go flaunting your scaly side
-He wants to keep you safe
-That being said; he knows you don’t listen; and at this point he’s too tired to bother really trying to stop you
-“no shifting in the house” vibes
-He finds any nuzzling endearing but in moderation; like “ok. That’s enough. Stop. Y/n. I said quit…”
-Allows you to protect him when he knows it’s not truly a danger to you
-Like doesn’t want you in a war but if someone is bothering him he will absolutely use you as an advantage
-“careful. They haven’t eaten yet today”
-Does not wish to fly
-Maybe did it once. Not a fan if not necessary
-Will watch you do tricks and stuff kinda like how parents do when their kid has “something to show them” but they literally do the lamest things

Getaway Heart
Tangerine x Reader - angst & fluff
Tumblr media
Warnings: blood & vomit
You’ve been a getaway driver since you got your license at 18, maneuvering through the streets with audacity and precision that caught the eye of all the right, and wrong, people. For the past ten years, you worked alone in the shadows, carving out a reputation as the go-to driver for high-stake jobs.
On a rainy evening, the twins handler, a no-nonsense woman with a penchant for dark sunglasses and cryptic instructions, invited you to an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of Madrid. The place smelled of oil and rubber. There she introduced you to the two men known only by their code names: Tangerine and Lemon. They were looking for a reliable driver, and their handler thought you fit the bill. You knew the Fruits were renowned in the industry for being very good at what they do but were slightly unhinged.
Tangerine was the first to step forward. He was tall and lean, with a sharp jawline and piercing blue eyes that seemed to dissect you with a single glance. Dressed in an impeccably tailored suit that contrasted starkly with the grime of the warehouse, he exuded an air of sophistication and control. His voice was smooth, almost velvety, “So, you’re the driver everyone’s talking about,” he said, his tone carrying a mix of skepticism and curiosity.
Lemon, on the other hand, was the exact opposite. Shorter and more muscular, he had a rugged look about him, with bleached hair and an unpredictable glare. His attire was casual— black jeans and a denim jacket—giving off a more approachable vibe. In his hand, he toyed with a small sticker book, flicking it absentmindedly as he watched you.
The initial meeting didn’t go smoothly. Tangerine’s aloof demeanor and Lemon’s staring put you on edge. Tangerine scrutinized your every word and movement, as if searching for a weakness, while Lemon tested your patience with his relentless talk about trains.
“Look, love” Tangerine finally said, crossing his arms, “we don’t have time for screw-ups. We need someone who can handle the heat and think on their feet. Can you do that?”
You met his gaze, your jaw set in determination. “I’ve been doing this long enough to know that hesitation can get you killed. I can handle the heat. Question is, can you keep up? Oh, and the names Orange, love.”
There was a moment of silence before Lemon burst into laughter. “I like this one,” he said, clapping Tangerine on the shoulder. “Got some fire in her.”
Tangerine’s lips curled into a faint smile, the first sign of approval. “Alright Orange,” he said. “Let’s see what you’ve got.”
The memory made you grin.
Right after meeting the twins you had your first job together and it was utter chaos—shit hit the fan, sirens blaring, guns a blazing and the scent of burnt rubber hanging heavy in the air. You were behind the wheel, the adrenaline coursing through your veins as you navigated the streets of Madrid with precision.
"Tangerine, we've got company!" Lemon's tone was annoyed.
Tangerine, cool and collected, leaned out of the window, firing off shots with deadly accuracy. "I can see that, Lemon! Im not blind!"
You couldn't help but roll your eyes, as the banter between the twins was getting on your nerves. "Would you two save the chatter for later? I'm trying to concentrate here!"
Lemon laughed. "Relax, Orange, we've got this under control."
You just sighed in annoyance and literally put your foot down, pushing the pedal to the metal.
Tangerine, sitting in the seat behind you, clung to the door handle, as hes being pushed back by the force of the speeding car. "Bloody hell, Orange? " he shouted, his voice a mix of panic and irritation.
Lemon, in the backseat, looked even worse. His face was pale, and he was gripping the headrest in front of him for dear life. "For the love of all that's holy, slow down!”
You smirked, your eyes darting between the road and the rearview mirror. "Relax, boys. Let me do my job and i let you do yours" you said, narrowly missing a pedestrian who decided now was the perfect time to jaywalk.
"Relax? Relax?!" Tangerine's voice went up an octave. "We’ve got the entire Mafia of Madrid after us, how in hell am i supposed to work when you’re driving like a maniac!"
You took a sharp turn, the tires screeching in protest. The car tilted dangerously, but you managed to keep it from flipping. Lemon made a sound that was somewhere between a whimper and a growl. "If we die, I’m haunting your ass!"
"Hold on to something!" you yelled, spotting a narrow alleyway ahead. Without hesitation, you swerved into it, the car barely fitting between the buildings. The side mirrors scraped against the brick walls, sending sparks flying.
Tangerine’s knuckles were white from gripping the door handle. "Jesus Christ, woman!"
You chuckled, adrenaline pumping through your veins. "I got hired for my driving skills, remember?"
Lemon let out a strangled laugh. "Skills? More like suicidal tendencies!"
As you burst out of the alley and back onto a busy street, a car tried to cut you off. With a quick flick of the wheel, you sideswiped it, sending it crashing into a parked truck. "One down, a few dozen to go," you quipped, glancing at your handiwork in the mirror.
"Just keep us in one piece!" Tangerine barked, looking both impressed and terrified.
You sped towards an upcoming construction site, an idea forming in your mind. "Hold tight," you warned, accelerating even more.
"Oh hell no!" Lemon groaned, clearly dreading your next move.
You aimed for a ramp leading up to a half-built overpass. As the car launched into the air, all three of you screamed—though in your case, it was more of a whoop of excitement. The car soared over the gap, landing with a bone-jarring thud on the other side. The cars that are chasing you weren’t so lucky; the first few smashed into the gap, creating a massive pileup.
Tangerine looked at you with wide eyes, his breath coming in short gasps. "You’re absolutely mad, you know that?"
Lemon, still clutching the headrest, nodded fervently. "Completely off your rocker."
You gave them a cheeky grin. "But i got rid of them, no?"
As the car sped away from the chaos behind, Tangerines eyes still held a hint of disbelief. "You’re a bloody lunatic!"
Lemon slumped back in his seat, finally letting go of the headrest. "Next time, I’m driving."
You laughed, the thrill of the chase still coursing through you. "Sure."
After a few more sharp turns you finally pull into a secluded garage. You killed the engine, the sudden silence almost deafening after the chaos.
"You two okay back there?" you had asked, trying to suppress a smirk.
Lemon had groaned, his face pale as a sheet. "I think I'm gonna be sick, now that we stopped," he had mumbled, clutching his stomach.
Tangerine had shot him a glare before leaning out of the window, retching onto the pavement. "Yeah, and somehow we made it out alive!” he had grumbled, wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
You turn in your seat looking at the boys smiling. Tangerine shook his head, laughing despite himself. “But remind me never to question your driving skills again.”
“Deal” you replied with a grin.
After that night, the three of you went through countless jobs together, facing danger with unwavering trust in one another. As time passed, your feelings toward Tangerine began to change. Working alongside him, it became increasingly difficult to ignore the way your heart fluttered whenever he flashed a rare smile or the way your pulse quickened at his touch.
The more jobs you pulled, the deeper your affection for him grew, and the harder it became to suppress your emotions.
And now, something feels off. As you sit in the driver's seat of your idling car, the engine's purr does little to calm your anxious nerves. The night is heavy with tension, the rearview mirror becoming your only solace. You glance back repeatedly, your mind racing through every possible outcome of tonight's job.
Tonight's mission was supposed to be a straightforward smash and grab. The target: a high-end jewelry store fronting as a money laundering operation for one of the city's major crime syndicates in London. Intelligence indicated minimal security—just a couple of guards, easily neutralized. Tangerine and Lemon were tasked with infiltrating, grabbing the goods, and getting out before anyone noticed. Simple, clean, efficient.
You were parked in the back alley of the building, engine running, ready for the signal. The minutes stretched on, each one feeling like an hour. Something gnawed at your gut, a premonition that things weren't going according to plan. You'd run through every escape route, every contingency, but no amount of planning could shake the unease that had settled over you.
The longer you waited, the more your thoughts drifted back to Tangerine. His smile, his confidence, the way he always seemed to know what to say to calm you down. You remember the first time he took a bullet for you. He had laughed it off, calling you a softie for worrying. That was Tangerine—fearless, almost reckless, but with a heart that beat fiercely for those he cared about.
You trusted them both with your life, but tonight, that trust felt more like a lifeline, taut and fraying with each passing second.
The rearview mirror offers no new insights, just the darkened street and the distant sounds of the city. You grip the steering wheel tighter. You can almost hear Tangerine’s voice, telling you to stay calm, to trust the plan. But the plan is starting to feel like a distant memory, overshadowed by a growing fear that this time, things won’t go as smoothly as they always have.
And then, like a thunderclap, the back door of the building bursts open.
Suddenly, Lemon charges through the back door of the building, supporting a hunched over Tangerine. It's clear that this simple job has gone terribly wrong. As they stagger closer, you see the blood—Tangerine is losing a lot of it. You reverse the car and drive towards them. Lemon yanks open the back door, practically shoving Tangerine inside before he climbs in himself.
"Go, go, go!" Lemon shouts, urgency in his voice.
You change immediately into first and slam the gas pedal to the floor, the tires screeching as the car lurches forward. The doors are barely closed, but you don’t have time to worry about that. In the rearview mirror, you see Lemon struggling to put pressure on one of Tangerines wounds, while the latter squirms in pain.
"What the fuck happened?" you demand, weaving through traffic with precision.
"Tangerine underestimated the Job, didn't wear his west and got shot," Lemon replies, his voice strained. Tangerine just groans, clearly in too much pain to speak.
"You didn't wear your fucking west?" you scoff, your hands gripping the wheel tightly. "You always chastise us when we're not wearing one, what the fuck were you thinking!"
"Yeah, well," Tangerine mutters in pain, "we all make mistakes."
You maneuver through the city's maze-like streets, dodging late-night traffic and running red lights. The city's neon lights cast eerie reflections inside the car, illuminating the tense scene. The smell of blood fills the air, and you can hear Tangerine's labored breathing from the back seat.
"You better not die on me, Tangerine," you say, your voice tight with a mixture of fear and anger. "I’m not dealing with your expensive funeral."
Tangerine tries to laugh, but it turns into a pained groan. "Always… so considerate," he manages to say between gasps.
"Save your strength, mate," Lemon says, pressing another wad of cloth against Tangerine's bleeding abdomen. "We need you to stay awake."
The car roars down a narrow alleyway, the tires barely gripping the slick pavement as you take a sharp turn. You can feel the tension in the air, thick and suffocating. Every second counts, and the safehouse feels a million miles away.
"I swear, if we make it out of this alive, you're going to owe me one pristine car cleaning," you assert firmly, your voice tinged with worry.
"Deal," Tangerine replies, his eyes closing. Lemon looks at you through the rearview mirror "Just get us there in one piece."
You weave through the final stretch of city streets, your knuckles white on the steering wheel. The safehouse looms ahead, a nondescript building that has become your haven in times of crisis. You screech to a halt after driving into the garage, the car barely stopping before you pull the handbrake.
"Help me get him inside," Lemon says, rushing out and opening the back door. Together, you and Lemon half-carry, half-drag Tangerine towards the entrance, his blood leaving a grim trail behind you.
"Hang on, Tan," you whisper, your voice breaking despite your best efforts to stay calm. "We're almost there."
Inside the safehouse, the familiar surroundings offer little comfort. You clear the kitchen table with a sweep of your arm, sending everything crashing to the floor.
"Lay him down here," you instruct. "I need to see how bad it is."
Tangerine's eyes flutter open, and he looks up at you with a weak smile. "You always did know how to make things dramatic, love" he jokes, his voice barely a whisper.
"Shut up," you say, your throat tight. "Just let me fix you up."
As you rip open his shirt, revealing the extent of his injuries, the reality of the situation hits you like a punch to the gut. Four bullet wounds, two in his left shoulder one in his right arm and the worst is stuck in the right side of his abdomen.
This isn't just another job gone wrong. This is a fight for survival. And in this moment, all you can think about is keeping Tangerine alive.
"You ruined my Burberry suit," Tangerine complains weakly, attempting a half-hearted smirk.
"I said, shut up," you snap, your voice tight with worry. Your hands move quickly, working to stop the bleeding. Tears blur your vision, but you force yourself to focus, ignoring the emotional storm brewing inside you.
Lemon stands by, trying to keep pressure on the wounds. He looks at you, concern etched on his face. "You alright?" he asks, noticing your tears.
You nod, the gravity of the situation weighing heavily on your shoulders. Each bullet you extract from Tangerine's flesh elicits an excruciating scream from him that reverberates through the room and it slices through you like a knife. But you steel yourself against the anguish, focusing solely on the task at hand. With each bullet removed, Tangerine's body relaxes a fraction, but his agony remains palpable.
Exhaustion settles over him like a heavy shroud, and he slumps back, his breaths coming in ragged gasps. You work quickly, stitching him up as best you can with trembling hands, the urgency of the situation lending you a sense of clarity.
Once Tangerine is bandaged and relatively stable, you turn your attention to the smaller cuts and abrasions littering his body. With gentle care, you clean away the blood, your movements deliberate and precise as you tend to his wounds.
When you finally finish, you look to Lemon, concern etched into your features. "You got any injuries?" you ask, your voice laced with worry.
He shakes his head, his gaze unwavering as he grabs a blanket and pillow, arranging them to make Tangerine's makeshift bed on the kitchen table a little more comfortable.
You look at your blood covered hands and your mind starts to race,
The reality of the situation sinking in. Despite your years of experience you can't shake the feeling of helplessness that washes over you. You've faced danger countless times before, but this time feels different.
As you turn to wash the blood away in the sink, Lemon appears at your side. His eyes hold a depth of understanding that cuts through the turmoil in your soul.
"Not exactly the night we planned, huh?" Lemon tries to joke, but his voice wavers.
"Yeah…" you reply, forcing a smile that doesn't quite reach your eyes.
"You love him, don't you?" Lemon's voice breaks the silence, gentle but insistent.
You pause, the question hanging in the air. Tears spill over, and you nod, holding in a sob. "Yes," you whisper, your voice cracking. "I do."
Wordlessly, he reaches out, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder. His touch is grounding.
With a steadying breath, you push aside the tumult of emotions threatening to overwhelm you.
You look back at your shaking hands seeing the sink run red as you rinse the rest of Tans blood away, the water swirling slowly like the tension in your chest. The room feels both too small and too vast, the weight of everything pressing down on you.
Lemon's eyes soften with understanding. "Does he know?" he asks gently.
You shake your head, tears now flowing freely. "No," you manage to choke out.
Lemon gives you a sad smile and pats your back. "It's gonna be okay. He's tough. He'll pull through. He's Tangerine, after all."
You look over at Tangerine, his face pale and his breathing shallow. The sight of him like this, so vulnerable, breaks something inside you. You sink to your knees beside the table, clutching his hand in yours, your tears falling onto his bloodstained shirt.
"I should have told him, “ You whisper, your voice breaking. "I should have told him every day."
Lemon kneels beside you, his own eyes glistening with unshed tears. "He knows," he says softly. "Somehow, he knows. And he’s fighting.”
The room is silent except for the faint, labored breathing of Tangerine. You press your forehead to Tangerine's hand, your sobs shaking your entire body.
"Please, don't leave me," you whisper, your voice raw with pain. "I can't do this without you."
"He's going to make it," Lemon murmurs, more to himself than to you. "He has to."
You cling to those words, praying that they're true. Because the thought of a world without Tangerine is too much to bear.
When the morning sun shines through the kitchen window, you stir, the warm light nudging you awake. You jolt up, immediately checking on Tangerine and finding him still breathing, albeit slowly. His chest rises and falls steadily, and a wave of relief washes over you.
Your body aches from the uncomfortable sleeping position, but you ignore it, stretching briefly before moving around the kitchen to make some coffee, the familiar routine grounding you.
Suddenly, you hear a faint sound. Turning around, you see Tangerine, though barely conscious, calling out for you, reaching out weakly.
"Hey, " he murmurs, his eyes fluttering closed but a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
You rush to his side, your heart heavy yet light with relief. “don't go too far" he whispers, his hand finding yours.
"Lemon!" you call out, your voice trembling with a mix of emotions. "Lemon, get in here!"
Lemon appears in the doorway, eyes widening as he takes in the scene. "What's going on? Is he—?"
"He's awake," you say, unable to contain the sob that escapes your lips. "He's going to be okay."
Lemon's face softens with a mixture of relief and joy. He steps forward, placing a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "I told you he's tough," he says, his voice thick with emotion. "Tan doesn't go down that easily."
You nod, unable to speak, the relief washing over you in waves. You stay by Tangerines side, his hand still clasped in yours, feeling the weight of the nights fear and uncertainty lift just a little.
Lemon places a gentle hand on your back, his voice soft but firm. "You need to rest. Take a shower, change into some fresh clothes. I'll keep an eye on him."
You hesitate, glancing back at Tangerine "Are you sure?" you ask, your voice wavering with concern.
"I'm sure," Lemon reassures you, giving your shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "You look like shit."
"Thanks, Lem." you shake your head at his compliment and make your way to the bathroom. The hot water cascading over you feels like a much-needed cleanse, washing away the grime and the fear of the night. You change into fresh clothes, feeling a bit more human, and take a moment to steady yourself before heading back to the kitchen.
When you return, you see Lemon leaning close to Tangerine, their voices low as Tangerine attempts to sit up, wincing with every movement. Lemon supports him, and you quickly move to their side, slipping an arm around Tangerine to help. Together, you guide him into one of the bedrooms, easing him onto the bed so he can rest more comfortably.
"Thanks," Tangerine murmurs, his face still pale but his eyes more focused.
"You need to rest," you say, brushing a damp strand of hair from his forehead. "We'll be right outside." As you and Lemon turn to leave, Tangerine's voice stops you.
"Wait." His hand reaches out, grabbing yours weakly. You look at Lemon, who gives you a knowing nod.
"I'll give you two some privacy," he says softly. "Call if you need anything." You nod at Lemon before turning back to Tangerine.
"You scared the living daylight out of me last night," you admit, your voice trembling slightly as you sit on the edge of the bed, Tangerine's hand still clasped in yours.
"I didn't mean to," he replies, a weak smile playing on his lips. "But I guess I did give that Burberry suit a run for its money."
You manage a small laugh, tears of relief filling your eyes. "I guess I owe you a new shirt," you say, your voice breaking with emotion as you remember ripping it off him to stop the bleeding.
"And i owe you a pristine car cleaning," he replies, squeezing your hand tightly, his smile widening.
Your laughter fades and you sit in silence for a moment, gathering your courage. You know that now is the time to speak your heart. “Tan I—” you begin, but Tangerine interrupts, his expression soft.
"Thank you." He looks down for a second, watching his hand play with yours. “Sorry, you were saying,” he looks back up into your eyes.
You blink in confusion, feeling your cheeks flush. "Oh, erm… you don’t have to thank me. It’s... it’s part of the job." you mumble.
Tangerine’s grip on your hand tightens, his eyes never leaving yours. "It’s more than just a job to you, isn’t it?"
You swallow hard, the truth pressing against your lips. "Yes," you whisper, barely able to hold back the tears. "It’s more. So much more."
He nods, a bittersweet smile on his face. "Lemon might have hinted at it before, but I’ve suspected for a while."
A mixture of relief and embaressement washes over you. "Lemon and his big mouth," you mutter, a weak laugh escaping your lips.
Tangerine chuckles, but winces in pain. You scold him lightly. "Don’t laugh, you idiot. You need to rest."
He grins despite the pain, bringing his hand to your cheek. "Will you stay?"
You lean into his hand, feeling his touch. "I'll stay." you whisper, tears falling freely now.
Tangerine’s eyes soften, and he reaches out to brush a tear from your cheek. "I’ve been feeling the same way you know. For a while actually."
Your heart races, and you struggle to find your voice. "What?" Tangerine’s eyes flick between your eyes and your lips before he closes the gap, kissing you softly. The kiss is tender, filled with all the unspoken emotions you’ve both been holding back.
Its a clusterfuck, but someone might like it...

I am conflicted. Your SlaDick art makes me go hnngg, but I've never found Slade to be a particularly interesting character. A good 80% of what I see about him on here is just discourse, which usually points towards a character being super intriguing, but most of what I've read in the comics he just seems like 'Generic Assassin Character With Bonus Divorced Dad Elements' What am I missing out on???
(Also, can I have a link to your header image? I need to reblog that asap)
Hey Tiger! How are you doing? Unfortunately I can't give you a tumblr link to my header image because tumblr's puritan ass considers it too much and took the post down LOL (it is literally just a guy in lingerie so idk what they're on about). You can have the Bluesky link instead.
Okay so about Slade. I honestly don't get the whole, uhh... "it's funny cause he's divorced" thing going on in the Slade fanbase. Like yeah he used to be a military man, he got married and had kids, but because he secretly became a mercenary and made lots of enemies, one of his sons very nearly died and his wife (understandably!) divorced him for it. I don't get what's funny about it, I don't get why people go "LOLOL he's a divorced guy!" like where's the punchline exactly? Lots of people get divorced is that a funny thing...?
Well but anyway. He used to be a very complex, very gray character in the 80s, when he was written by Wolfman and Perez. Initially he was not exactly a bad guy despite acting in the role of an antagonist, he was going against the Titans to honor the memory of his dead eldest son. Of course being a mercenary with little qualms about killing people put him in the gray area by default, but he was nice with the kids when the situation allowed it, very loving towards his middle child (Joseph, who also was a Titan), and he and Dick held mutual respect for each other (to the point that Dick convinced Bruce that Slade was actually a good man, and a honorable man who would never break his word. Which tbf was true).
The run Deathstroke The Terminator which ran from 1991 to 1996 is interesting and complex, selling itself like a Macho Man Thing! With Guns! And Explosions!, while it's actually tackling delicate themes such as parental grief, loss, CPTSD, the horrors of war and such. Slade's incrollable friendship and loyalty towards William "Billy" Randolph Wintergreen (former comrade in arms) is a very important and fairly touching aspect of it, and Slade's struggle to just Be A Good Person despite everything (and failing) is imo very compelling.
Over the years (and at this point irremediably), Slade has veered from being a gray, complex and multidimensional character into being only a villain. He stopped being caring towards his family (or he's directly manipulative and abusive especially towards Rose, youngest child born from adultery), he stopped being "fatherly" towards the Titans, and lost complexity overall. What he gained were impeccable Daddy Dom vibes, also thanks to the cartoon (Teen Titans 2003), where a Slade Wilson inspired character (called only "Slade" and voiced by Ron Perlman) is the embodiment of evil and has a fixation on young Robin Dick Grayson.
There are more "modern" moments in which Slade is still an interesting character. Like when he tried to steal the speed force from Wally (and eventually got it from Ace) to go back in time and save his eldest son's life (and failed miserably, but managed to change the fact that Grant, his boy, had died alone, because he held him through his last moments). The Slade you see being shipped with Dick is sort of an amalgam of all that... sometimes he's the sharp, wicked monster of the tt03 cartoon, sometimes he's a more gentle elder man who genuinely grew fond of Dick, sometimes he's a piece of garbage who's toying with a kid, and most of the times he's a ruthless mercenary who will stop for nothing and no one to fulfill his contracts... but he has a soft spot for Dick.
This last bit of characterization comes from the most iconic Nightwing run (1996 by Devin Grayson), and it's where Dick and Slade have some of their most interesting interactions since the New Teen Titans run of the 80s. There Slade acts like a lazy but dangerous big cat, and Dick has his carefully studied methods of dealing with him, which work because Slade is very fond of him basically.
There are more things to say but this post is long enough already! I feel Slade is one of the characters who have been done dirty by DC executives, because they have a hard time dealing with gray characters overall. He's versatile when it comes to fanworks because his characterization is all over the place (except a couple core concepts he's a different character in each media he appears in, basically), and Sladick is ridiculously hot and works imo very well in lots of different circumstances.

Gary is here and he wants a request about Theo introducing him to his fav tunes for the first time. I can envision Theo having record player with the headphones attached and he just pops them down over Gary’s ears and looking for a reaction like “so thoughts on oasis?” Idk man it’s the 90s who do we think Theo would listen to. lol sorry this isn’t really a request marky just a moment to spill my thoughts 🤍 muah love ya!!
Tumblr media
pairing -theodore nott x fem!reader
summary - theo shows gary some tunes
warnings - established relationship, fluff, wonderwall by oasis?
a/n - hey flower 💕 I know you said this wasn't really a request but I made it one oops (hope that's okay). I just loved the idea way too much to not to write a little something for it 💕 and I have also no idea what theo would be listening too tbh (I think he's similar to me and he also puts songs into two piles of "like" and "don't like" and there is no actual rhyme or reason to it, just vibes), so I did go with your idea of oasis. might have just been an excuse to listen to wonderwall for the whole duration it took me to write this, we'll never know

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon at Theodore’s flat, the kind of day where the world outside was little more than a gray blur. You and Theo had plans—or, rather, non-plans. Days like these were for tea, cozy blankets, and your boyfriend’s expansive collection of vinyl records. The centerpiece of the flat was his pride and joy: an old but well-maintained record player, complete with a set of hefty headphones that he insisted made everything sound richer.
And then, of course, there was Gary.
Gary was Theo’s pet raccoon—a mischievous, inquisitive creature who had somehow wormed his way into Theo’s heart (and yours, though you’d initially been skeptical about cohabiting with a raccoon). Gary had a penchant for shiny objects and a knack for inserting himself into whatever you and Theo were doing. Today was no exception.
“Alright, darling, it’s time,” Theo announced dramatically as he sat cross-legged on the floor by the record player. His soft jumper hung loose on his lean frame, his sleeves pushed up to reveal the elegant lines of his forearms. You were curled up on the couch, a mug of tea cradled in your hands, watching him in amusement.
“Time for what?” you asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Gary’s musical education,” he replied, his lips quirking into that sly, self-satisfied smile that never failed to make your heart flutter. “I’ve decided it’s a crime he hasn’t been exposed to the classics yet.”
“I’m not sure Gary cares about Oasis, Theo,” you teased, but the grin tugging at your mouth betrayed your intrigue.
He scoffed, running a hand through his dark curls. “That’s because he hasn’t heard Oasis yet. You’ll see. Gary’s a creature of impeccable taste. Aren’t you, mate?”
Gary, perched on the arm of the couch, tilted his head at the man as if considering his words. Then, with a little chit of approval, he scurried down to join him by the record player.
“See?” Theo said, gesturing toward the raccoon. “He’s ready.”
You set your mug down and slid off the couch to join them on the floor. “What are you going to play first?” you asked, watching as your boyfriend flipped through a stack of records with the reverence of a museum curator handling priceless artifacts.
“We’ll start with something foundational,” he said, pulling out a well-worn sleeve. “‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’ by Oasis. Iconic.”
You laughed softly. “Of course.”
Theo carefully placed the record on the turntable and set the needle. The opening chords of “Wonderwall” began to drift from the speakers, but Theo wasn’t done yet.
“Gary deserves the full experience,” he said, holding up the headphones. “None of this ambient nonsense. He needs to feel it.”
You watched, equal parts skeptical and charmed, as Theo gently maneuvered the oversized headphones onto Gary’s head. The raccoon blinked up at him, his little paws resting on Theo’s knee for balance, as if to say, “Alright, I’ll humor you.”
Theo leaned in close to Gary, his voice a conspiratorial murmur. “So, thoughts on Oasis?”
Gary tilted his head again, his ears twitching beneath the headphones. His tiny paws tapped against Theo’s knee in a rhythm that might—if you squinted and tilted your head—be interpreted as keeping time with the music.
“Oh my god, I think he likes it,” you said, laughing in delight.
“Of course he does,” Theo replied smugly, lifting a hand to gently scratch behind the raccoon’s ears. “He’s got taste, just like his dad.”
You rolled your eyes fondly but couldn’t help leaning in closer, your shoulder brushing against Theo’s as you watched Gary’s reaction. The three of you stayed like that for a while, the song playing on, Theo occasionally adjusting the headphones to ensure maximum raccoon comfort.
When the song ended, Theo lifted the headphones from Gary’s head and looked at him expectantly. “So? How do we feel about Britpop?”
Gary chittered softly and reached for the record sleeve, his tiny claws tapping against the glossy surface.
“He wants more,” Theo said, his tone triumphant. He turned to you, eyes bright with boyish enthusiasm. “See? He’s a natural.”
You shook your head, grinning. “You’re unbelievable. But, I have to admit, this is kind of adorable.”
He smirked, leaning in to press a quick, soft kiss to your temple. “Kind of?”
“Alright, fine. It’s very adorable,” you conceded, laughing as Gary climbed into your lap and nudged at the headphones. “Guess it’s my turn to DJ for him now.”
Theo handed you the stack of records with a flourish, his grin widening. “Just don’t ruin his impeccable taste, love.”
You rolled your eyes but couldn’t stop smiling. Rain pattered against the windows as the three of you settled in for an afternoon of music, laughter, and the unshakable warmth of being with the ones you loved most.

Hard to Find was a teen dream come true for me though not in the usual way.
Tumblr media
Though I very much enjoyed this I'm not sure if I can wholeheartedly recommend it. It's not going to be for some people. But for the ones who get it it will be perfect. For me this was the cdrama of my teen goth dreams (if I'd known what cdramas were way back then). And it did everything I needed it to do in that regard. But objectively I had issues with big chunks of the story, with great setups that were never used, and pieces that never quite came together in the end.
Tumblr media
Right upfront I'll say story-wise and casting-wise this was really uneven. I don't think the female lead was quite on par with the male lead. He really carries most of this on the strength of his impeccable jawline. And I've seen him do scorching love scenes in other shows, but the female lead here can't quite meet the heat he brings. And initially I was a little concerned about every other cast member looking like they were 14 years old. But the core cast ended up doing a good job with what they were given and some of the characters turned out to be truly quite excellent.
Tumblr media
The villain could have been stronger in the beginning (though his over the top scenery chewing really worked in the end). The romance was really quite sweet and decently done. There was a run of misunderstandings  as the basis for plot conflict which isn't my fave but ultimately I think it was handled well here. And a love triangle that I actually truly enjoyed how it ended up being handled.
Tumblr media
I generally prefer cohesive plots and well developed characters with true arcs in my stories. I'm not much for just vibes being enough, but in this case, the vibes alone are worth it. I was a goth teen way back in youth and if this had existed then I would have been insufferable about it. People would have shunned me because I wouldn't have talked about anything else. I'd have gone to dance clubs in Helian Xi cosplay, swanning around in goth robes and playing at brooding in the snow. The first part of this really has the vibes of The Crow (1994). Zhao Yiqin is absolutely perfect as the gloomy goth prince, Helian Xi. He broods like a champ and his jawline is sharp enough to cut through any plot issues. The first part of this really has the vibes of The Crow mostly because Helian Xi really being his best ancient Chinese Eric Draven. A lot of gloomy fairy prince vibes here too. And the choices for the sets make this atmospheric in a very fairy tale way.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As I said, this is not without flaws and not as good as other stuff I've seen from this team. But it's so beautifully shot, it's worth watching for the visuals alone. It is decently acted despite all the teens. The sound track is excellent. The costumes are just gorgeous. Though I do not love the hairstyling on the female lead. It's truly distracting in an otherwise dazzling show. And the eps are all like 18 minutes long, so it's nearly impossible not to just race through it, entranced by how beautiful it is. It goes so fast you might not even notice the shaky story issues. Alas the ending does go in for choosing to further the plot at the expense of being true to the characters they developed, which is too bad, but it does not ruin the overall dreamy brooding goth mood of the show. So yeah, I recommend it only if you want the full on melodramatic teen goth feeling of overwhelming love in a fantasy kingdom of brooding princes and can look past the plot hitches. Really it's so visually stunning I would watch it again just for that.

Frosty Affection || Meet The Barnes
Tumblr media
Character: College!Bucky Barnes x College!Reader
Main Story, Drabble, Homecoming, Jealous, Sick Boyfriend
Summary: After Bucky returned home for a week, he kept secrets, leaving Y/N curious. When she followed him, she discovered an unexpected guest in his life. Main Masterlist || support: Ko-fi
Thank you to anyone who gave a like, reblog, and left a comment. It motivated me to write more.
Tumblr media
It had been three months since Bucky and Y/N became a couple, and the subtle undercurrents of secrecy had begun to weave through their relationship. One evening, as Bucky left again with a mysterious air, Y/N's curiosity got the better of her.
Following Bucky discreetly through the city, Y/N arrived at his apartment building. The night was shrouded in silence as she tiptoed up the stairs, her heartbeat echoing in the narrow corridor. As she reached Bucky's apartment door, she hesitated momentarily before gathering the courage to press her ear against it.
Y/N, whispering to herself, "What's he hiding? Why won't he tell me?"
The muffled sounds from inside hinted at a conversation taking place. Y/N's determination peaked, and she couldn't resist the urge to find out more. When the door creaked open, she instinctively ducked behind a corner. "Well, well, it seems we've had a silent observer. No need to hide, dear. Come on in."
Y/N, caught off guard but unable to resist the woman's inviting presence, stepped into the elegant foyer. "I'm Elizabeth, Bucky's mother. It's a pleasure to finally meet you."
Y/N, nervously shaking Elizabeth's hand: "I'm Y/N. Nice to meet you too, Elizabeth."
Elizabeth greeted Y/N at the elegant entrance, dressed in a fancy outfit. Her warm smile and the fancy decorations around her created a vibe of sophistication, hinting that Elizabeth wasn't just elegant but held some important role in the Barnes family.
Bucky widened his eyes; this was the first time Y/N saw him look nervous. This is why he's being secretive. When he got back home, his mother asked him about his girlfriend. As the queen of the underworld, she knew everything. He is not ready to introduce Y/N to his parents yet. Because he doesn't want to scare her. But his mother followed him back to the university because she wanted to meet Y/N. Warmly, Elizabeth said, "Y/N, dear, it's wonderful to finally meet you. Bucky has told me so much about you."
Y/N, still processing the unexpected encounter, stammered a greeting. As the conversation unfolded, Y/N's gaze flickered between Bucky and Elizabeth, trying to decipher the unspoken tension in the room.
Elizabeth, noticing Y/N's nervousness: "No need to be on edge, my dear. Bucky has mentioned you quite a bit. You're not the first to be taken aback by our family's... complexities."
Upon first laying eyes on Y/N, Elizabeth's discerning gaze softened into an approving smile. Y/N's genuine warmth and charm left an impression on Elizabeth, who understood why Bucky was captivated by this delightful presence. Elizabeth's initial assessment hinted at the beginning of an affectionate bond, recognizing in Y/N the qualities that had endeared her to Bucky. Y/N chuckled nervously, and Bucky wanted to stop his mother before she made Y/N feel awkward.
But before he could stop her, Elizabeth had already pulled Y/N away; while leaving her son's apartment, she said to Y/N, "I've been waiting for an opportunity like this, dear. I've always wanted a daughter, and you seem like the perfect fit for our family." Watching his mother and girlfriend walk away, Bucky grumbled, "I never thought my mother would steal my girlfriend. What kind of alternate universe is this?"
Tumblr media
5 Hours Later
Elizabeth arrives at Bucky's place with shopping bags in tow. "Well, that was quite the shopping adventure! Your girlfriend has impeccable taste, Bucky."
Bucky put down his reading glasses, "Girlfriend? I thought you stole her to be your shopping buddy."
Elizabeth playfully answered, "Oh, she's more than just a shopping buddy. Take good care of her, Bucky. I don't want my sweet future daughter-in-law slipping away."
Bucky rolled his eyes, "Future daughter-in-law? You work fast, Mom."
Elizabeth smirked. "When you know, you know."
*****
The next day, Y/N met Bucky again, her eyes sparkling with excitement. She animatedly recounted her day with Elizabeth.
Y/N enthusiast explained her day to her boyfriend, "Your mom is amazing, Bucky! We went shopping, and she's got this incredible sense of style. We chatted about so many things; she's so warm and friendly!"
Bucky couldn't help but smile at Y/N's excitement. However, when she turned the conversation toward Elizabeth's life in the underworld, Bucky hesitated.
Bucky brushed her hair with his fingers. "Well, you see, my parents are part of the third generation in the underworld business. For my mom, it's like a normal life."
Y/N, sensing there might be more to the story, looked at Bucky curiously.
She asked him, "Normal life in the underworld? What does that even mean?"
Bucky contemplated for a moment, debating how much to reveal.
Bucky cautiously explained, "My mother is... well, let's just say she's not afraid of much. Enjoying life in her own way, navigating the complexities of the family business."
Y/N, intrigued, couldn't help but wonder about the untold aspects of Bucky's family and the shadows that lingered beneath their seemingly ordinary lives.
Tumblr media
At Barnes Residence
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow over the elegant interior of the Barnes residence, Elizabeth couldn't contain her excitement. She burst through the front door, the soft click of heels against the polished marble floor announcing her arrival.
Elizabeth entered the living room with a beaming smile, "William, dear, you won't believe the day we had! Bucky and Y/N are officially a couple!"
The spacious room, adorned with tasteful decorations, seemed to light up at Elizabeth's joyful announcement. The subtle fragrance of a scented candle filled the air, creating a serene ambiance.
William looks up from his newspaper with a grin, "Well, isn't that something? Our son finally found someone."
William Barnes, Bucky's father, was cold and stern, often appearing tyrannical to those outside his immediate family circle. Despite his icy exterior, his demeanor softened when interacting with his wife, Elizabeth, and his son, Bucky.
Elizabeth gracefully settled into the plush sofa, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of joy and mischief. The living room, adorned with family photos and heirlooms, bore witness to the countless stories the Barnes family had shared over the years.
Elizabeth animatedly said "And not just someone, William! Y/N is a gem. We spent the day shopping, and I can't wait for you to meet her. She's lovely."
Setting aside his newspaper, William couldn't help but chuckle at his wife's enthusiasm. The room resonated with the warmth of their connection, a testament to the years they had spent building a life together.
"Sounds like our son is in good hands. When do I get to meet this future daughter-in-law of ours?"
Elizabeth playfully pinched her husband's nose and said "Soon, dear. Soon."

okay, so this is a beast of a post.
since i've officially watched all 'the hobbit' movies now (as well as 'lord of the rings'), here is my personal ranking of all the movies in a list.
LoTR: Two Towers
LoTR: Return of the King
LoTR: Fellowship of the Ring
Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey
Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies
Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug
i talk a lot about the movies under the cut ( i accidentally started rambling, whoops ) don't feel like you have to read it all but if you want my supper cluttered opinion, go ahead (spoilers btw)
favorite one overall is clearly 'Two Towers'. it follows three groups of characters in the best fucking way. (Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas | Samwise, Frodo, Smeagol/Gollum | Merry, Pippin) it's been a while since I watched this one but i would really love to rewatch it one day. (we rented this one so we don't have it anymore)
i initially had 'Return of the King' as #4 but i honestly can't rank it that low. everything about this one is perfect and it gave me and my sis some good fucking inside jokes. also aragorn and eowyn slayed imma be real
'An Unexpected Journey' almost came above 'Fellowship of the Ring' but then i remembered the other half of fellowship and i had to rank it higher. maybe i just love the lotr characters more, i dunno, but their journey impacted me more and had me more excited. also, 'one does not simply walk into mordor.'
'An Unexpected Journey' is the only one I've actually rewatched (even if it was only the beginning) solid movie, something old and charming to it. i did watch it when i was younger but i fell asleep multiple times and just caught tid bits of it, so going through it again i annoyed the piss out of my sis by yelling 'i know that part!' over and over again
'Battle of Five Armies' was structured really well. the fight scenes could not have gone any better. the elves, the dwarves, the orcs, all their different unique styles. solid three hours of fighting if you want that. (i would gush about this a little more but i would probably end up repeating myself a bunch and sounding more a mess than typical) ((also this is going on too long))
'Desolation of Smaug' by all intents and purposes should've been ranked higher. if something has a dragon, I'm gonna watch it. (i recently realized i had a not-so-secret love/obsession for dragons) and Smaug being that gold-obsessed dragon from storybooks gave him such an interesting twist and gave me a real appreciation for that trope and he looked really cool and he was probably my favorite part of the movie- (unfortunately i just had a bad experience watching the movie because i was being constantly interrupted to the point that i completely lost track for like two hours. but even with a rewatch, i probably wouldn't rank it higher, but i would definitely have more love for it than i currently do)
Favorite Characters
LoTR: Gimli (i can finally remember his name), Frodo (pathetic bitch, like me fr), Pippin (protect this tree-loving, goofy ass, bard at all costs)
Hobbit: (no character really stuck out to me in the way lotr characters did but these ones did stand out) Balin, Gandalf, Galadriel
and special shout out to:
aragorn (king, literally), legolas (especially from lotr where he's only quiet until he says some wise shit), smaug (big, fire kitty), galadriel (yes, again, i didn't think much of her until the hobbit but lowkey what the fuck, awesome, talented amazing, showstopping, hot as fu-what?), and eowyn (pick your head up queen, your crown is slipping)
and because i can't shut up and this is such an impeccable series
i couldn't pick one, so the two most impactful scenes for me was-
lotr: when the ring had been destroyed and frodo and sam are on the rock surrounded by lava. frodo is remembering everything about the shire and home and he probably finally feels normal again. they were also giving ship vibes, true, but their dynamic in that moment is also so special and i want to rope this into the end where he gives him the book before leaving and the ethereal lighting of it all is everything and-
hobbit: i wasn't too 'wowed' by thorin (he just doesn't match up to aragorn for me) but his character direction is something i can gab about on a later date (cuz i fucking love it dude) . other than that, he didn't touch me emotionally or anything. but holy fuck when the credit mucic started playing?? the song is 'the last goodbye' and i immediately thought of his death scene and the funeral of all of who passed and let me tell you, i have never teared up for movies or songs or stories but i got fucking close during that song man and that's gotta account for something (I've watched endgame with tony stark as my favorite character if that gives you any inclination how much that credit song fucked me up)
and lastly, my favorite songs
The Last Goodbye (this fucking song made me love thorin so much more and it also stole my lunch money, yes 911? i would like to report a crime-)
Edge of Night (wasn't expecting it, thought i'd hate it -because i get uncomfortable with characters singing in movies- fucking loved it, obsessed)
Misty Mountains Cold (had no reason to go so hard, jesus christ-)
I See Fire (i knew this song since i was a kid, never knew it was from the hobbit, got really excited when i heard it at the end of of desolation of smaug)
if you read this, you deserve a reward. but I'll settle for requesting you either reblog or comment with something about lotr/hobbit that you really love. like your favorite movie, character, scene, whichever. i'd love to see all the different things that was special to others (and it doesn't need to be as long as this, please, save yourself the stress)

👀 please share your thoughts on the emp threads and especially goro’s vanity I’d love to know more
Happy to oblige!!!
So for those who don't know, EMP threading in the Cyberpunk world is a type of cyberware that appeared towards the end of the Red Decades/Time of the Red, likely in the late 2040s. It was believed at the time that it could protect its wearer against electromagnetic interference from more intense cybernetics (like weapon augmentations and the like) and radiation. However, that was never scientifically confirmed, and in my opinion, it was probably some sci-fi woo-woo marketing bullshit.
It's cataloged as fashionware in the TTPRG, which means that it doesn't really increase the risk for cyberpsychosis and other negative side effects the way the real shit does. It's basically just about aesthetics and typically has little functional purpose.
I believe it was Goro's writer, Philip Weber, who confirmed on one Pawel's Twitch streams in fall 2021 that the markings on Goro's face are EMP threads and not "proper" cyberware. (I don't feel like tracking down the link right this second, but when I have a little more time I can verify and/or amend the exact source in the comments. I do know that Goro definitely has EMP threading.)
Goro's exact age has never been confirmed--We've just been told he's at least 45 years old in 2077, although I personally always felt like that was too young. My initial guess was early to mid-60s, and then I bumped my headcanon down to 55ish to find a happy medium between the two. Regardless, he's likely somewhere between his late teens to late 20s when EMP threading is gaining popularity, and I feel like this sort of new trendy cyberware probably has much greater appeal to young adults who are really finding their personal style and identity and whatnot.
So I've always had two different but not necessarily conflicting thoughts about Goro's EMP threading:
He got them for practical purposes, thinking they would enhance his abilities and make him an even better little super soldier for Arasaka-sama. Or maybe Arasaka even made their soldiers get them at one point, buying into the idea that they did have a functional purpose.
He got them because he just wanted to look cool. 😎 And I mean, he does still have them, even after presumably something traumatic damaged a part of the threading (that scar, to me, looks like it happened after the threading was implanted given how perfectly it lines up against the remaining thread), so I think there's some conscious fashion/style decision here. I don't see them as being something he'd have a hard time getting removed if he really wanted to.
And like I said: these don't even necessarily have to conflict. Maybe he got them on his own because he thought they'd be functional AND looked cool. 😎
As for Goro's youthful vanity--I really don't have any hard evidence or anything to back up this headcanon, it's just kind of one of those Vibes™️ type things based on the very little he shares about his life before Arasaka.
He does mention that he and his peers always made it a point to wash before the Arasaka transports would roll through Chiba, and I could see him really leaning in hard to having impeccable hygiene, which could also extend to style, to try to distance himself from his streetkid beginnings. Between the bullying we see with David in the Arasaka academy in Edgerunners and real-life stories my husband has shared from his time in a military academy, I imagine Goro was probably surrounded by some real fuckin' assholes who would love to take him down for anything they possibly could, so it would be not just a matter of pride, but self-preservation.
Goro also mentioned that he lacked discipline before Arasaka, and I think he was probably a fuckin' handful when he was younger. I just really love the idea of him being a vain, arrogant pain in the ass in his teens and early 20s and having a major humbling moment in the field, like losing fellow soldiers due to his over-confidence. (Side note: his time as a soldier is probably the era of his life I want to know the most about--He has that line about Saburo understanding what it was like, and I feel like if Goro can identify with someone who served in WWII that he's probably seen some shit.)
So yeah! There's probably other shit I left out, but this is basically the gist of my Goro's EMP Threading as a Symbol of Vanity thesis, lmao

do you have any favorite days on the qsmp? if yes which ones?
SO MANY these are not in order they're just whatever i could think of. also idk if you mean like vod recs or just like fave days either way i'm gonna list them somewhat like recs
the french speakers' arrival is a wonderful day from several povs (bagheras, cellbits, quackity's, although his is fairly short as always)
similarly, brazilians arriving is also great! watch any of the brazilians or q or roier or even phil who was losing his mind waiting for them to give the eggs back
WATCH A DAY 1 VOD!!!! if you already have watched one pov, watch another from someone else! day 1 vods are so funny and deranged and really set the initial tone that really was the server's vibes basically up until the brazilians arrived
the egg event day! tbh watch any pov but roier's and jaiden's are really really good
the conclusion of the happy pills arc was an incredible day; i know it's probably soured for a lot of folks, and that's understandable, but if you never watched it and feel up for it, check out pac's and cellbit's pov of it because it's wonderful (pac didn't stream the actual conclusion himself, so you'll have to watch cellbit's to see the full conclusion of pac and forever getting the risus antidote)
idr what day it was exactly but the day bobby was killed by the code and lost his first life is a super interesting vod from several povs-- namely roier's, cellbit's, phil's, bad's, and probably some other folks? a LOT of lore stuff happened that day that was super interesting
cellbit's may 7 vod (featuring the cucurucho chainsaw hallway) + his may 10 vod (featuring him screaming and revving a chainsaw at the sight of cucurucho); tbh, if you're into qcellbit, watch his first week vods if you haven't because they're IMPECCABLE they decided to immediately torture him and also gave him so many puzzles it was great. this whole era of theory bros/ordo theoritas was incredible generally too so max's and bad's vods are also very very fun watches and they didn't spend a million hours deciphering an ARG so their vods are easier to get through
bagi's arrival IMPECCABLE tbh watching anyone's day 1/arrival vod is a good idea they're usually pretty enlightening & fun; watch her pov as well as anyone else's because from what i remember they had to do a bunch of weird puzzles to get to her
similarly, carre's first day is very funny and chill vibes very enjoyable
gemeos do misterio reveal need i say more
the time roier and vegetta got quackity drunk at casualonas and got him to reveal his plans to kill the eggs on tape
literally any roier vod frankly roier is just so entertaining i could watch him wash dishes and have a good time
jaiden's birthday party vod
jaiden's vod where she was going on a break (i think when she'd been to japan?) and we got the reveal that she'd worked with the feds in the past
whatever day it was where they went and found kameto again in some federation hq
the juanaflippa life trial was deranged i didn't watch it myself (i think i was at my nephew's birthday party or something tbh) but every part of it sounded WILD
related, the funeral streams from any of the parents whose kids died are pretty interesting
the day quackity found out tilin died is BRUTAL but a great watch-- q is, of course, a brilliant rper and what he did with tilin's death was masterful and really heartbreaking. i think it was the day after tilin died? something like that
bobby dungeon. obviously. that was crazy and it set so much up for jaiden and roier's chararacters gahhhhh
the event with the new members' arrival (like tina and everyone else in that whole big crew)
any romero richas moments i cannot think of dates or anything off the top of my head but montelyson lore is so cool and genuinely creepy i miss it so much
the furniture prank came at such a wrong time but it was genuinely so fun along with the deranged waystone prank i lowkey wish they'd happened like. three days before or something bc they would've been really really funny
hide and seek!!!! again idr the day but when they finally got to do that event it was so cool
festa junina!!!!!! so many shenanigans and fun times
dia de los muertos EVERYTHING TO ME!!!!! seeing bobby again ough and all the newer members getting to meet the old dead eggs.... gahh
spiderbit wedding i am unbiased. nodders.
the day where baghs and cellbit did the first day train station puzzle was so good i NEED them solving shit together again sigh
BLUE BIRD MISSION + TIMER DUNGEON!!!!! event(s) of all time fr i loved that shit.
that time elq kidnapped dapper was kinda lame in that it didn't actually make sense BUT baghera went IN on that man and the whole thing of them following him was very cool
max and bad assassinating elq KING SHIT
post-first debate explosion need i say more that shit ruled fit's pov is great for that particular bit of the night bc you get to see ramon figuring it all out
the day they did a server reset so they let roier and bobby and tilin (i think it was them three? its been ages) blow a bunch of shit up that ruled
spiderbit ocean temple hangout very very good day
tazercraft prison break (the one where they escaped with walter bob but then he got taken away at the barbie house)
tiny mike day idr what was going on that day i jsut will never recover from tiny mike. miquinho. smaller than richas even so itty

✦ Lost in Limbo Devlog #6 | 10.03.23
Tumblr media
And another month has gone by! 💜 For this one, you'll have to excuse my lack of eloquency, but this weekend has been really hectic for me personally, so my brain is struggling a bit to keep up :')
We are very close to receive our final grades for our master, but we are anticipating nothing but good (or at least not bad) news! With that being said, the team has picked up the pace again and we are feeling really good about it. Everyone is really excited to work work and work, so let's jump into it, shall we?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And what better way to start this devlog than with our handsome, our stupid, our magnificent Lord Amon, Golden Dragon of Dagalis? 🌟
As you can see, we have started working on the demo CGs and we are beyond excited! Our plan is to finish Amon's CG and snatch a few screenshots of the game to finally, FINALLY open our itch.io page! We don't want to spoil too much of the CGs but we still want to share a decent amount of stuff in our devlogs, so we'll see how we manage, hehe. We hope you like Lord Amon in this CG so far as much as we do, because Raquel is as per usual doing an impeccable job with our local himbgod! 💜
Tumblr media
<<The voidbound, creatures born from the Midnight Tower's chest. Intelligent to a degree, they protect the Beyond —the tower's domain— from any trespasser. >>
This month we have started the concept art stage of our signature creature, the voidbound, and boooy is it looking good so far! Again, we don't want to spoil too much because we want you all to be surprised and spooked (hopefully!) when you play the demo and meet these little guys🖤.
I'm so glad Astro finally had a chance to put his creature design skills to use, because he's honestly fantastic at creating monsters and giving them just the right vibe. Consider yourself about to be scared or seduced if you are like me!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This month we finished our jugdment chamber! 💜 Aside from a few dust and smoke effects and maybe some small corrections along the way, this is another finished background for LiL's demo! There's a feeew more to go but with a little organization and plenty of force of will, I think we'll be able to tackle them all. Now that the first demo has less backgrounds, it's a fairer amount of work.
We also have had Kayden work on special "mini CGs" that will add to the immersion in certain scenes, but again, we don't want to spoil the whole demo content!
Tumblr media
Currently, the demo script is sitting at 42k words, every option included. I'm hoping I can finish corrections either today or tomorrow and send the script over to Allie, our mighty editor! I already finished writing a breakdown of the characters and demo story for them to read, but I want to send both things at the same time. I know the writing is taking more time than we initially planned —in our first devlog if I remember correctly, I said I was already coding it, and I was— but it's for the benefit of the game. I don't want our demo script to be mediocre or to just be "good enough". I want to be proud of what I've written and I want my team and I to be able to be honest about this kind of stuff with the people that are looking forward to play our game 💜.
Tumblr media
This month has been good overall. It has been difficult for me in personal matters, so I hope you forgive me for the usual typos or grammatical oopsies. This devlog was meant to be posted last night (GMT+2) but I was exhausted and didn't want to rush it :').
During October we are hoping we can work on as many art assets as we can, and if the script gets corrected and approved, maybe I can begin coding it very very soon!
As always, thank you so much for supporting us, for being here, and for looking forward to our demo! 💜 We hope we are living up to the expectations!

Do you have any headcannons for your luffy story?
No bc I am the author and therefore everything I say is canon 🫶🏻 BUT I WILL GIVE U SOME QUICK FACTS
Have discussed this but reader is a v rich heiress. Her father owned a shipping empire which she technically has inherited tho she has no interest in it
She’s a bit autistic coded bc I just think luffy would be so enamored with a Weird Girl LMFAOOOOO and she has a special interest in bugs specifically beetles!!! Yes this (and food) is the cause of their meet-cute, tho I intend to write that so I won’t spoil much 🫣
I’m kinda going for like. 19th century explorer vibes with her (Jane from Tarzan flavored) and her island. I might do a lil moodboard bc I have no self control :)
Lyle was a match her parents arranged out of fear she’d end up alone bc she’d never had any romantic pursuits, he genuinely has no interest in her and just wants her money 💔 he’s also got a mistress that she 100% knows about truly a world-class asshole
Her whole family (mom, dad, older brother) all died at sea a bit over a year before she met luffy. She has Not processed that shit At All 👍🏻
She and her brother were super close, he was the only one who rlly opposed the arranged marriage and did Not like Lyle one bit. Also was the one who encouraged her to pursue her interest in beetles and convinced her parents to send her to university 🥺
Genuinely a miracle Lyle survived luffy being on the same island as him rest assured if they ever meet again that bitch is getting what he deserves
She and luffy actually spend a bit over a month on that island, he severely oversold how quickly the straw hats would decide to come after him LMFAOOOOOO he’s spent abt a month on her home island hanging out w her and it’s only after a few more weeks that nami finally decides it’s been too long since they last heard from him
Luffy and reader also fuck So Much on that island LMFAOOOOOO I might write. A bit of the build-up to this too. It’s much needed context to the initial drabble that I kept trying to imply but it was so clunky so I just didn’t. But they r going at it like rabbits the whole time and it’s not. Exactly the healthiest way for reader to process anything but it’s certainly cathartic. Once they’re rescued she pulls away and he lets her have her space until he realizes it’s not helping and then there u have it
And the straw hats Totally clock that shit 😭😭😭 not that it’d be hard I think she’s covered in hickies when they show up rip. They love her immediately obviously the luffy vibe check is impeccable 🫶🏻

There seemingly won't be a Planeswalker's Guide to Thunder Junction, sad to say, so it's time to stop delaying this.
Outlaws of Thunder Junction is the most recent Magic the Gathering set to release, taking place on a "fresh" plane- a place that has no sentient, sapient life. Initially populated by the Atiin people, nomads from another plane that moved here when the Omenpaths opened up the multiverse, everyone who decided to come on down to the Junction and make a new life for themselves has given themselves a bit of that old west flare.
But the question is; where are all our new friends from? In a burst of intellectual curiosity and bad decision making, lets actually do our best to figure that out, starting with... (some ground rules: only the subject matter of the card art matters. Instants and Sorceries will try to divine where the spell and cast are from to the best of my abilities. Please note this is mostly arbitrary.)
WHITE
Tumblr media
... cool way to start. Based on the artistry of the Eversaloon's entryway I'm calling Kaladesh, it has the appropriate spirals.
Tumblr media
The original printing of this card is Innistrad so you might be tempted to say this lovely lady is from there, but the style of wings, the way she is channeling Thunder through her gun, and the general vibe of the art tells me this is Dominaria.
Tumblr media
This delightful feller is endemic to Thunder Junction! The armor has an Esperite flare but I'm counting this as not from another plane.
Tumblr media
Aven Interrupter is our first one that's like, actually obvious. Owl aven have only been seen on Arcavios so until told otherwise, this friend is from there!
Tumblr media
While we're seemingly not getting a Planeswalker's Guide for Thunder Junction, it was mentioned on twitter that Felidar are native to the plane. The particular design of the cat and horns suggest creatures native to the American West as well.
Tumblr media
This abomination (Affectionate) of a pun features a local oxen and a Thunderous wind whipper. As much as a magical spell can be, this is from Thunder Junction proper.
Tumblr media
Another native creature to the plane. I love the fluffy beards on these critters.
Tumblr media
Now look at this bad boy! There's absolutely no known place in Magic the Gathering that a rabbit person like this could exist... yet anyway! I'm thinking this guy is from Bloomburrow (as is the Mole person from Murders at Karlov Manor, incidentally).
Tumblr media
While this is noted as a spirit, the fact that it's an animus suggests to me this is more of a living mirage than an actual person. Native to Thunder Junction.
Tumblr media
Eriette is the weirdly sympathetic wicked witch of the Wilds of Eldraine storyline, so this stunningly beautiful piece of artwork is from that storybook plane.
Tumblr media
There's no real defining characteristics on this card to really peg where it's from... except! IT was mentioned on Twitter that Spree cards were meant to evoke big Western films, and this one is The Magnificent Seven... which means this lone survivor's from Kamigawa, because it'd be funny (and the spooky aura radiating out of these guys feels like a Reckoner thing). Hey, I did say these would be arbitrary sometimes.
Tumblr media
The incredibly cool horse(?) of Annie "Haseya" Flash, one of the main stars of the story. Fortune comes and goes as she pleases, but Annie always finds her when the chips are down. I love this creature, and love Annie. I choose to believe Fortune's from the Atiin homeplane and came with her.
Tumblr media
There are not a lot of places Dwarves can be from in Magic the Gathering... this doesn't have the exact sort of filigree you'd expect from Kaladesh, but consider the fine work and the tools being employed, this lovely fellow is likely from there.
Tumblr media
The Sterling Company, our villainous lawmen for the plane! I'll talk about their leader later, but based on him, his style, and the impeccable fashion of his men, I'm saying they're from New Capenna.
Tumblr media
Goddest boy in the multiverse Kellan Okoson is here to lasso an entire train to safety with his fey-natured vines. While I'd love to say this is from Eldraine because Kellan is from there, this is the natural fey-gifts he inherited from his shitty father, so they're from Oko's Plane.
Tumblr media
This polite kidnapper is pretty clearly from Eldraine. I wonder what she left in the cacti's place though...
Tumblr media
This is a tricky one. The way Thunder works on the ol' Junction is that it needs a loop to radiate through- thus the horsehoe on the blade. But that, plus the inner tang also being a loop, suggests this is a former Zendikari sword, modified from climbing equipment to chaos-channeling shock-sword.
Tumblr media
Annie Flash digs up her past for one final job, and looks sweet as hell doing it. This is from the Atiin's plane, I'd reckon.
Tumblr media
This guy could really be from anywhere, which is kind of the point of Thunder Junction- to give up your old life for a spell and see if a new you will work out. But the fact that his potions are so classical Fantasy Potions I'm saying he's from Dominaria.
Tumblr media
This delightful little critter is native to Thunder Junction, and what a cutie he is. Did you know Prairie Dogs were a type of squirrel before seeing this card, because I didn't!
Tumblr media
Fundamentally I have no real indication of where this guy could be from... but he's from Prosperity, the Sterling Company's roost, and his suit's got a bit of an armoured look to it... so I'm gonna say Kamigawa.
Tumblr media
Look some of these just flatly aren't actually doable. The drones bouncing around suggests it could be from one of the planes that got those, but ultimately I think I'm going to have to put this as "yeah I got nothing".
Tumblr media
I could have swore there was somewhere in the Wilds of Eldraine story that said these particular blue and white bovines belonged to the giants of the sky... and while I can't find it, I wanna say they're from Eldraine anyway. So I will, it just fits dangit!
Tumblr media
This is definitely native to Thunder Junction. It's just got the vibe, you know?
Tumblr media
Choke this one up to New Capenna- and if you think that's wrong, blame the Sterlings for having such fine coats.
Tumblr media
Ditto for this one- though I'll note that the carriage and the train from the above card absolutely have that Kaladeshi vibe.
Tumblr media
It' always fun to see what exactly gets turned into an instant or sorcery spell in flavor-first sets like this. This friend is from Thunder Junction, positive.
Tumblr media
Another Sterling, another New Capenna ex-pat looking to make a name for herself. If it helps one of the city's of the plane, Omenport, leads directly to New Capenna, making it one of the most likely planes for people to naturally come from.
Tumblr media
I will stop calling Sterling Company mooks New Capennan's when they stop looking like people from New Capenna. This is a sort of Aven you'd find there design wise.
Tumblr media
Cute, designing a shield like a deputy star. This has no real markers signifying the people using it, but the subject of the art is clearly the shield itself, and this bad boy was made on Thunder Junction baby.
Only 30 images are allowed per port so check in soon for PART 2.

So if anyone remembers awhile ago I made a little post about @stellarfirmatim music, well I decided I would make one for the new album Paler under Tim's new band name Everywhere Fires... It can be found on bandcamp, and I highly recommend giving it a listen. I am going to put the little review under a read more, or you can read the gdoc.
One of the things that I always enjoy about Tim’s music is how he uses vocals as part of the soundscape, his harmonies in particular to create such depth to his music.
And I just have to say it was really lovely getting a full album all at once, a set piece to be enjoyed together. I will of course vastly enjoy mixing the new songs into the rest of Tim’s catalog when throwing my playlist on random, but it’s so nice to just have this little set on its own as well.
Note: I’m not great with terminology, if I’ve gotten things wrong, I apologize. Also there is very little/no talk about lyrics because they generally aren’t my focus while listening to music, vocals mostly being a (beautiful) part of the soundscape.
Hold On
This is such a strong start to the album. It pulls you in with jagged, erratic tones, which really nicely opposes the soothing vocals. Then there is a beat drop you don’t see coming that really slaps you in the face in the best way possible, with a fast asynchronous drum beat that is reminiscent of Radiohead. The high bells that come in creating a wonderful alternating beat, that along with the low harmonies, really creates a lovely combination. Vibes are impeccable.
Defib
First single released, and where it is very good on its own, it really fits so perfectly nestled into the second slot on the album. I listened to a lot of Grails earlier this summer (thanks to Tim’s rec during a stream) and this song has some of those vibes with the synths and slow plodding baseline that feels like it could go on forever. I really love the sound that cuts across the song, a nice sharp sound to balance the rounded edges of the rest of the song.
A Killing Kind
Third on the album is an understated song that seems to elude me in finding ways to describe. The transition from Defib was smooth and it pulls you in with some bright synths. I really enjoy the way the vocals overlap during the chorus, feels like it’s bouncing through my head. Then of course there are the lovely strings that come in and bring it to a whole new level.
Thy Will
The fourth track starts off strong with organs that really set the mood for the whole song. It’s brooding and dark, feeling like dark storm clouds overhead. I really enjoy the melody that the vocals follow, interesting and lilting. Truly a great song to walk to, sets a strong confident pace. Ending with the same gorgeous organ works as an excellent transition into the next song.
Working on my Hands
I hesitate to choose a favorite with an album so full of bangers, but I do really enjoy this one an awful lot. This song starts off eerie and unsettling. It calms down, but that sense of foreboding never really leaves, and when the big siren sound comes in, you feel it pull you by your chest and leaves you hanging, almost like a sense of vertigo, with the deep bass rumbling through your bones. All just ends up being very spooky and atmospheric. Another great transition into the next song, one of my favorites I think.
Paler
The title track of the album has a beautiful drone like quality to it, with horns that pierce through, pulling you through the song. It’s gentle and repetitive and soothing like a rainstorm. I specifically had foggy days on the ocean imagery in my head, but that may have been influenced by the horns and the lovely deep vocals, but either way it creates a lonely, isolated vibe that fits the song very well. It fades gently into the next song perfectly.
Your Arms, Boys
A real highlight to the album, starting off minimal with just vocals and a lovely little xylophone/piano, feeling like it's just taking place in a small room. Initially thinking it was going to be a simple ballad, I had not expected it to suddenly build in such a grandiose way, filling your ears with a larger than life feeling. It’s a very cinematic song, I can easily picture groups of sailors on a ship, singing this together to keep time as they work, the layers of beautiful harmonies laying the groundwork for that image.
Evelyn
The final song on the album feels both very different from the rest of the tracks, and also like the perfect ending, wrapping the album up with a beautiful little waltz that instantly makes me want to dance around the room. It has such a lovely melody which the deep vocals work so well for. The strings that slide in really bring it to another level, and what sounds like bubbles popping give it such a whimsical feeling.

not to turn this into an ask game, but I'm also curious about your sexiest/least sexy paladin subclasses (admittedly I know next to nothing outside what we've seen on cr/exu)
Oath of Devotion (the purest expression of paladin vibes) (CR examples: Kerrek; initial build for Kima but later moved to Vengeance)
Oath of Redemption (it's about patience in the face of everything but it's also about having stupid high bonuses to charisma checks and Rebuking The Violent) (CR example: Zerxus)
Oath of the Watchers and Oath of the Ancients are tied (personally I slightly prefer Watchers but that's because *Chetney werewolf voice* you guys ever do it on the different planes, but both are impeccable, it's really just planar vigilance vs. being a source of nature and light) (no CR examples but I believe you would know ancients from Beverly Toegold V)
Oath of Vengeance (bit edgy for my taste and I do not personally have a wing kink but like, it is pretty cool, ngl) (CR example: Vax, NADDPod example: Beverly for a bit)
Oathbreaker (frustrating that the DMG automatically goes to 'evil paladin obviously broke their oaths and now is super into zombies' when Teven Klask is out here kissing hands and does not seem to be weird about the undead. but also...I could fix them.) (CR example: Arkhan, which, again, seems weird, seems like he's actually keeping all oaths to Tiamat)
Oath of the Crown (ngl I am not searching through my files for my Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide digital copy of questionable legality right now, but iirc it was a decent support-heavy build; I don't particularly care for the monarchy but it did make you super good at healing and that's sexy)
Oath of Glory (I fucking hate this subclass but it would probably be a good lay it must be said)
Oath of Conquest (Douse the Flame of Hope douses a whole lot of other things...mechanics actually go hard but the flavor is really a turn off, like, politically)
oath of the open sea (CR example: Fjord) is not published by the WoTC and so is not officially ranked here but unofficially it's #3.

Baby N-8's Grindr Adventures
In which things happen. I don't know why my friends that actually know star wars still talk to me with this nonsense tbh. Thanks as always to @justheretolurk24 for being an excellent editor.
N-8 was getting a bit bored. He’d been planet hopping for a bit, and was finding that it was often a bit difficult to get settled in new planets. Heck, even in just new cities when he needed to leave quickly but didn’t have the money to completely bail ship. It was hard to find a place to stay without knowing anyone that knew the area, especially on his budget. Sure he was pretty well-built to be outside, but he found that unideal. Especially as it gave him very little to do for leisure. Again, bored.
He was snooping around the holonet on his ipad when he found something that looked promising. It was an app- advertised as being Galaxy’s-Reach-Inclusive (excellent, it would still be useful on other planets) for all Networking/Dating/Relationship needs. Worst case scenario it would be a good distraction.
The thing asked for his name and gender. Haha! He had both of those. It also asked for his age, which was of course-
Well-
How old was he?
Chronologically, strictly speaking, he was about 3 or 4 standard years old. Now, there was a wide variance among sapient creatures in rates of maturation and lifespan, but he was still fairly certain that for about every sapient organic out there 3-4 years would be a baby child. He may be fairly new to existing, and especially new to existing with free-will, but he wasn’t a kid.
He finally settled on just putting [category]- [young adult]. He was an adult. He was young. It worked.
Account made, he settled back to wait for it to connect him to someone nearby, hopefully someone with a television. He couldn’t keep relying on sports bars. They wanted you to buy things. And only played sports.
It wasn’t long before he got a notification. He pulled open his messages.
Oh, hmm, that was a way to start a conversation with a stranger.
He blocked them and closed the app immediately.
The next couple interactions went much better, but he was getting the vibe that in practice this app was not, despite advertisements, actually used for all Networking/Dating/Relationship needs. Tough, because he was going to do it anyway. He should probably make some adjustments to his profile to clarify some things for potential matches. Such as the fact he was, under no circumstances, removing any layers. He didn’t even have a mouth for void’s sake. (Not that he was telling anyone that)
Soon, through his impeccable taste and a lot of swiping, he found something that looked promising. A beautiful man (just because he wasn’t going anywhere serious with this didn’t mean he didn’t have standards), looking for a casual platonic one night stand, and was mainly interested in watching movies. N-8 was going to a movie night and hopefully getting an introduction to the city for free. G-R-I.N/D/R was great actually.
Besides having to excuse himself by pretending he ‘ate before he got there’, the venture went pretty well, actually. He got to watch movies, and was pointed towards several dirt cheap places to rent, if you didn’t need things like water which he didn’t. Also, to his delight, the guy let him crash for the night.
Initially N-8 spent a while after that, in the short times between living places, doing what many might describe as a particularly fascinating variety of couch surfing. But pretty soon he was settling faster in new places and was, if anything, using this tactic more often while he had a place of his own. Televisions were expensive and hard to lug between planets, after all. At some point in the future he would decide he was far enough out into the rim and start to settle. He would stay in place long enough to form work relationships with strange people in tall buildings and neighborly relationships with little old ladies. For the time being he was getting really into a lot of shows which was a problem when you were usually only able to watch the same thing for like a week max.
Did he once have a month-long Something with someone formed in good part on the basis of wanting to finish a really long show? Possibly.
You found weird trends in shows going through them like this. Most material out there you could only actually find on the one planet it was made on, or even state, not to mention what the imperial censorship on the holonet was like. During some more underground connections he found that there was a selection of rare shows a bit fixated on clones. Imperial media liked to use them a lot as little propaganda symbols (no wonder, they attracted people that missed the republic and certainly had the looks for television), but anti-imperial media, when it included them, made a point of dealing with the Empire’s cannon fodder as actual individuals. As something beyond soldiers that might not even stay there.
He tended to gravitate towards these shows. His series had a lot in common with them, he thought, more than most would care to think about. Two sides of the same credit maybe. He’s pretty sure most would probably deck him for saying something like that. There was an event though, that their plot lines tended to come back to.
He usually stopped watching, after that. No point in retreading the same story.
It was also interesting the different places you could end up like this. Sometimes you found yourself in a nice apartment owned by some asshole you were definitely going to steal from, and sometimes you found yourself in a basement owned by anarchist punks that probably shouldn’t be so laissez-faire about exposing their home and anti-imperial activities to randos they found on G-R-I.N/D/R.
There were weird trends in the people you met too. A lot of the people straight-up trying to find people to watch soaps with were romantics. He got teased his fair share for rooting for the so-called “bad-boys” in shows rather than the “nice guys”. But the shows always made it too intense. The “nice” choice was just too nice. No one would actually treat you like that, it was suspicious, really. Besides, how can you snark with someone like that?
