Disgusted with the lack of Snorkmaiden appreciation on youtube. Like 90% of the Moomin amv’s on youtube are snufmin, which is fine, except so many of them portray Snorkmaiden in a negative light

My favorite part of the apology dance scene is that it’s straight up not an apology.

“I was wrong you were right,” that’s not an apology. It’s just not! An apology requires an understanding of what you did wrong in the first place, which is a problem because, well,

Crowley isn’t wrong. He’s not wrong and he knows he’s not wrong, but he’s not right either, and neither is Aziraphale. This argument isn’t a you were right I was wrong argument, it’s a conflict of interests with valid reasons from both sides.

Crowley didn’t come back because he suddenly decided he wanted to help Gabriel, he hates Gabriel. For Crowley to have properly apologized, he would have had to tell Aziraphale why he came back.

And that’s a problem, because then he has to tell Aziraphale about what Gabriel said. (Aziraphale knows Gabriel tried to kill him. He does not know Gabriel told him to shut his stupid mouth and die.)

It’s a problem, because then he has to tell Aziraphale about the danger he’s in by keeping Gabriel in the bookshop. About how he could be erased from existence. And Crowley can’t have his angel worrying about that.

Someone commented that this photo was from several days ago, so it's possible that he's back in LA or will be by the event. It would be really nice if he and Jacob were there since things are getting close, though I guess that's still a little too early for all the actors to necessarily be out for preproduction.

Interesting! It would genuinely be a dream for him and Jacob to do some press together, so I would love it if they were both back in LA for the 7th, but I guess it really is anyone's guess right now.

For what it's worth, the one (1) show, haha, I've worked in the production office of was a period drama, and the leads arrived for that about halfway through pre? That was a Sydney production shooting in my hometown of Brisbane, and I'd been a writers attachment for the scripts, and then was helping the script supervisor and art department with clearance seeking both for archival footage and branded items, as it was a miniseries based on a real person. It doesn't seem super consistent as to when actors start, but I would hazard another guess as to say they can't be too far off if filming starts in June.

I've been meaning to make a post about for a while, so I guess this ask is a good opportunity.

TL;DR I haven't felt inspired to write anything Maasverse related in months. The latter half of 2023 and all of 2024 so far have been horrendous for me IRL and I don't have the mental bandwidth for much else beyond getting by.

The second half of LFSWDTB is outlined to completion. Unfortunately HOFAS disappointed me to the point where canon killed my drive to write for the moment.

I'm incredibly grateful for the friends and community I've gathered from this fandom--I just don't have the spoons (don't like that term but idk what else to call it) to write at the moment :/
