Maybe there really aren’t easier ways to refer to a girl like you can with “son” to a boy. But my memories of his tone for a male Lone Wanderer are so different. Nothing nearly said as nice as “sweetie,” “honey,” “sweetheart” or said as nicely as he does. Oh my god
