"my aunt lives here, and she outcooks everybody here. this burger is nothing, and your love for this 'food' really exemplifies your taste," danica refuted, suddenly feeling a jolt of family pride in the moment. she needed any firepower to win this ridiculous argument. the doctor looked between both women before throwing their hands up to signify that this was none of their business. danica glowered at the doctor as they stood there and tried to decide if they should scurry off or not. "for you to take heed from this delusional stranger over me is ridiculous, and if you ever put your hands on me again, i will come for your license."

"How dare you insult the cornerstone of Stardewian cuisine!" Taeng gasped at the sick stranger, believing every word of it too. She stood tall and proud, refusing to back down, since she knew keeping a level head was of paramount importance when dealing with someone so feverish. Any minute now, Taeng expected everyone watching to offer their profuse gratitude for caring so deeply for one of their own. "Doctor, please, I trust that you will take care of this woman?"

Random Thoughts about Love Sick 2024 (EP 5): Love is everywhere and everyone is queer.

This episode was mostly around the sport event and wow so many things happened in just one day. I don't remember my teen's life to be so eventful. However, in Friday's school you never get bored because even a harmless match can bring so much action. It was a very enjoyable episode, again. I'm starting to recognize most of the cast now (even if I had to draw a relationship chart to be sure to miss no one).

This episode really showed the rivalry between Phun and Earn to win the heart of Noh. Earn is trying his best to be around Noh and he can't wait for them to spend time together, but he never imagined that Phun would get in the middle of everything he planned. He gave a bottle of Ichitan Tea to Noh, but in the end it was Phun who drank it. Earn wanted Noh to bring him snacks and water, but it was Phun who showed up. When he brought a snack to Noh he discovered him sleeping in the arms of Phun. They still have not confronted each other on this matter yet, but I believe it will come at one point because it's obvious that Phun doesn't want Earn to be around Noh too much.

I truly thought they would be the only love triangle, but the series has decided that in this episode they will show that everyone is gay here! Even those who don't know it yet (I'm talking about you Ohm!). We also discovered that Aim has feelings for her best friend, Li. She is having trouble accepting her romance with Taeng. It is showing more and more. I wonder if she is hiding her feelings because she is afraid of her mom or if it's because she is afraid of losing Li. In previous episodes I felt like Li's feelings for her were really showing. Even if she is torn and not ready to say it out loud, Aim has already decided to go to Hua Hin where Li and her girlfriend are going. She is going to use Yuri, Noh and Phun to get there by using the pretext of a double date. It is going to be messy, but it's always like that with teen love.

The third love triangle (which may be more like a square love, does this exist?!) a is more subtle and it's between Pete, Earn, Noh and the newcomer Ton. So Ton and Pete are supposed to be ex boyfriends if I understood properly. However, Pete seems to be in love with his friend Earn, now. He knows Earn is interested in someone else and he is selfless enough to accept it because he prefers for the one he loves to be happy with someone else. It could have stayed this way, but the last conversation Ton had with Earn and Pete gave me the feeling that it has a double meaning. Ton seems to know about Pete's infatuation for Earn. I wonder how everything is going to end. As for Noh, he seems to be oblivious of Earn's flirting. He is much more into Phun's flirting anyway.

You would think it would be enough romance action in this episode, but no there is more. We got a few scenes between Per and Mawin (sorry I called him Mick last time, but I made a mistake). They are cute, but we already saw it in episode 4. In this episode, we also got Mick and Ohm. Mick really likes Ohm (is it truly love yet?) and Ohm also cares for him. Will something happen between them? I also wonder if something will happen with Ngor and Fong after he saved him (poor Ngor is always harassed by people)? Ngor was touched by Fong's help and it would make sense for him to develop some kind of feelings after the rescue. There is also the Fi and Mick's interaction that can make you feel like it would be the beginning of something, but I may read too much in their small interaction (plus it would create another love triangle and we have enough of them already). Well basically, love was is the air in this episode for a lot of characters.

It's really not easy to be a teenager and to be in love. Let's not talk about how queer young love can be even more difficult depends of your situation and if you can be out. I feel like it's especially hard for Aim and Phun who are stuck in the idea of what they think people expect from them. It prevents them from being with who they really want. The way Phun is acting around Noh is so different from how he is with Aim who is supposed to be his girlfriend. Noh's friendliness gets mistaken for more by some people while he is just being himself (Earn thinks he has a chance to be with him and Yuri believes they are together). However, he is only getting shy around Phun for who he really has feelings.

Let's see what the Hua Hin's trip is going to bring to everyone.

After calming down and walking around for a bit, Lily ended up on the opposite end of the mall from Scoops Ahoy. She wasn’t sure if she’d ever go get ice cream again after the night, but she’ll see if the urge to do her usual go-buy-ice-cream-and-watch-it-melt-to-prove-nothing-will-happen will come up after this because something did in fact happen this time. She was thinking about this as she rounded the corner to walk down another way and accidentally bumped into someone she didn’t see because of the dark. “Oh, my god. I’m so sorry. I didn’t realize how dark it was down here, I just didn’t see you.”

Ben took hold of Taeng's arm, guiding her carefully toward the nearest cot. As they walked, he made a mental note of her symptoms. Once they reached the cot, he helped her sit down before responding with a mixture of concern and professionalism.

"It sounds like you've got quite a few symptoms going on here," he said, a thoughtful expression as he looked her over. "Dizziness, hot flashes… And you said it all hit you suddenly after spending the day in the square?"

"Oh, thank you!" Taeng declared gratefully, apparently not too ill to project her voice as if in a play. She leaned into Ben, so she could make it to the cots, suddenly mumbling, "Is the room spinning, or is it just me?" She was convinced that everything had gone blurry, but she persevered to answer his question: "Well, I am excruciatingly dizzy. I spent all day in the square, chatting and enjoying the weather, when all of a sudden I stood up and could hardly maintain my balance! Not to mention the hot flashes..."

Kim Taeyeon (Brief Overview)

💕 In celebration of her new single Something New , here is a brief Taeyeon analysis to congratulate our precious leader taeng!! 💕

💕disclaimer: i’m no expert on astrology but these are my interpretations of the signs and how they’re working based on my experiences with them. Everyone has different opinions and studies in astrology, all interpretation and experiences within the realm is valid. However feel free to make your own post or skip if you strongly disagree. There might be inaccuracy and difference in opinions. But the point of this post is to relate, entertain and have a fun time. I’m hoping to validate people with similar experiences and get people excited about the girls+ astrology. Also, since we don’t know most of their birth times, I’m using the standard 12.00pm💕

March 9 1989 (Jeonju, Korea)

Pisces Sun/Aries Moon

Pisces sun has such a softer, much more rounded physical feature. Since it’s ruled by Neptune, there’s some otherworldly quality to them that just makes them appear so attractive to those around. 

People with Pisces sun in 2nd decan, she’s under the influence of the Moon/Cancer-ruled. This balances out her Aries moon so well, because with 2 water-influences in her sun (self-expression/ego) it keeps the fire-moon in line (Aries won’t overwhelm her Sun) 

Since Pisces do get along and tend to work better with Cancer, people with these placements will exhibit more will-power and pro-activeness in their immediate external world. Sure, they’re still homebodies and are introverted, but unlike Scorpio’s influence on Pisces they won’t have to deal so much with emotional intensity and fluctuation that are well beyond their control.

There’s a need for introversion, Taeyeon has said before that she’s much more of a homebody than any of the other members. Although she tends to get lonely (Pisces sun) she feels more comfortable at home. People with Cancer’s influences on their Sun also tends to be a bit moodier and withdrawn. 

Often they’re shier to open up, but once they do they’re extremely nurturing and comforting to be around. The water-signs have an ability to accept those from different paths of life and make them feel loved and appreciated for who they are- no matter what. 

Although it can change if the person crosses them, their tenderness and loving care is something everyone wants to experience.

Cancer influencing her sun really points out the introverted nature of Taeyeon, it’s not much of a ‘I don’t want to speak to people’ vibe so much as wanting to be comfortable in domestic areas or be connected to their childhood life. Cancer rules the fourth house, which is the house that can signify a need for good domestic atmosphere and enriched home-life. 

She probably gets more rejuvenated doing activities outdoors in the garden, grooming plants or making home-cooked meals. 

Since Aries needs activities, and Pisces/Cancer needs home-life, finding things to do around her house would really help her with not feeling so isolated or falling deeper into Pisces’s Depression.  

In a way Pisces and Cancer can be harmful if it overpowers their will. In Taeyeon’s case, she has such an enriched sun that it may tend to overpower her emotional needs (moon) if she’s not careful and doesn’t seek interactions every once in a while. 

She tends to give so much to others especially in this decan, and feels uncomfortable taking back that it over-balances her Sun. The Pisces influence once over-balance and lead to excessive sleeping habits to avoid reality or insomnia. If she regulates her sleeping schedule properly and try to find a balance in incorporating her Aries moon into fueling her sun, there could be a good outlet for her to look into. 

Whilst home-life may be good, it can be hard to sustain because of fluctuating emotions. Cancers influence can make her go through throes of emotions very rapidly that her Pieces can’t keep up, and Pisces resorts to escapism within themselves and use their domestic home life as a place to sink deeper into self-delusions (become like a ‘mark’ like ‘oh it’s time for that depression’ due to environmental conditioning). 

Pisces sun can become disconnected from reality and the world around them, and they have to realize that sometimes seeking out the opposite of what you wanted to do - even if its scares you- can actually turn out to be a good opportunity to let that energy out.

 She’s great with handling social interactions because of how reactive her Aries Moon gets, but it’s so controlled by her Sun that it can be stifling by herself.

If you think about it, Aries moon (emotions) is like the child and it’s co-ruled by the mum (Cancer) and dreamer (Pisces). Maybe it can be like having two mums, since both Cancer/Pisces is a yin (feminine) placement. It can lead to chiding the moon alot more, especially since the moon is the youngest of the bunch.  

Anyways, Taeyeon’s straight forward, forth-coming style of speaking is such an inspiration and it probably touches alot of people’s hearts. 

Besides the possibly unhealthy controlling of her moon, the way it behaves right now is calmer and less destructive than how it’s supposed to be and it’s benefiting her greatly. 

Aries moon in Taeyeon loves challenges, can be argumentative and often it would instigate reactions out of people around them. She’s a great entertainer overall, and her Pisces sun makes her wiser as she ages. It keeps her from making stupid decisions, and her arguments/anger are usually quick to come and go. 

It might be a little bit more stubborn for her to apologize however, since Pisces sun (ego) is involved and tends to be a bit more cautious with handling out apologies (even though it wants to). With an Aries moon, her self-expression (Sun) is amplified because of it’s energy. 

Aquarius Mercury

She has a charm about her when she speaks, it’s invigorating and innovative because of the Aquarius Mercury. 

Aquarius Mercury natives tends to be much more logical and analytical than other air signs, there’s a stability to them. They’re quick witted and quick-thinking and often they persuade people through sound arguments with backed up points in order to get their ideas across easier.

There’s also an intense and intimidating curiosity and the need to explore things in a logical manner for her, combined with her Aries moon she can often be very gung-ho about topics and her manner of speaking is often very blunt and direct. 

Aquarius Mercury also talks about the way they think. Taeyeon has unconventional thinking weaving inside of her, but she’ll always choose individuality and uniqueness to express herself. 

It can influence your Venus style if you have this Aquarius Mercury (3rd decan/Venus-ruled), because her brain and choices are always going to pick something that’s a bit more daring, a bit more outside the box and a bit more interesting that will keep others interested. 

She can pick out holes in conversations very quickly, especially with a reactive moon like Aries, her displeasures or thoughts are quickly written on her face. Since being rookies Taeyeon has observed and interacted with many variety show stars and hosts, she’s always been courageous in speaking up on issues like LGBTQA+ and feminism, this is all Aquarius mercury’s influence.

And she gets away with it! Even in the conservative Korean society of circa 2000~2014. She has her Mercury in the 3rd decan which is ruled by Venus/Libra. Aquarius mercury under this influence tends to know what is too much and what is enough, they’re already observant people but with this Venus in their arsenal, they can charm and appeal to others around them and distract them from their blunt words very quickly.

This also talks about her voice, since Venus in Libra is smoothing everything out and makes it harmonious. Since she’s a singer, this placement really helps her with the ballad (its her hard work in Taurus Moon too! They’re both Venus-ruled) her smooth, soothing and emotional tone might’ve came from this influence in her life. 

There’s always something harmonious about Venus-ruled signs, and in Aquarius Mercury there’s a stronger need for consistency and aesthetics. But never in the typical sense.

Catering herself on discovering her own style and establishing a good solid foundation is important to her,  as soon as she does this (i.e. relationship wise, business networking) she’s allowed to show off her individual charm and aesthetic more and be appreciated for it. 

Having more than 10 years of the industry under her belt and numerous commercials/endorsement deals really helps her in showing more of her different shades of her life in her career now. 

Although numerous news and controversies surrounds her hurts her Pisces and affects it really badly, her Moon and Mercury are both lethal weapons she could use if she uses it for herself and not against society (Aquarian’s Uranus would not like that very much) 

As a solo artist, the opportunity that it presents her with is something her sun might feel reluctant about but her Moon and Mercury are so gung-ho to do it. She has all the assets she needs to really give more and show more of herself, as well as share her evolution with others. 

Pisces Venus

Aaah a soft and sleepy leader!

More than anything, the Pisces likes to sleep. Especially with a moon sign in Cancer, there’s a way to escape from reality and go into the subconscious (Neptune) that just appeals to them.

This is also like their love life. Pisces Venus tends to be very romantic and sentimental, however they’re hesitant to step into any relationship. 

If unhealthy they can tend to idealize their perfect romance and try to find someone who fits the bill, they’re not one to say yes easily and are often disappointed when their disillusioned version of another turns sour.

They can be extremely compassionate and patient, willing to give and give and not take back. If the other person doesn’t have a healthy placement to balance the Pisces Venus out, it can be very hard on the Pisces Venus to let go and they may be stuck in toxic relationships for a long time.

Since Pisces rules the 12th house, the house of dreams and subconscious- there’s a need to keep their romance and private life secretive. Sometimes benefiting from idols having to roam behind the scenes hiding from fan is something Pisces Venus are adept at, but it’s not necessarily a good thing from them at all.

They’re so dreamy and soft-hearted they can be easily taken advantage of if they’re not careful. There’s an elusive charm to Pisces Venus, where you feel like they flirt very fleetingly and leave as if nothing has happened. 

There’s also a very intuitive-instinct in Pisces Venus, often time they’ll ‘vibe’ the other person and situation instead of directly confronting or discussing the situation/relationship. This can often times disappoint them and others since it lacks solid foundation or base. They’re irresistible and can charm others into following them even if they’ve hurt them before. 

They appreciate the traditional style of romance, writing out songs for their lovers or being read poetry to. There’s a classical kind of romance to them that just makes them feel like they’re in a movie. The more dreamy it is, the more they’ll like it. 

Pisces Venus has a lot to give, but it’s not directed just at one individual. It’s a need to give back to mankind. Their love can become so compassionate it turns into self-suffering. But they seem to romanticize this notion sometimes which can be unhealthy for them. Since it would lead to martyrdom or unnecessary sacrifices they make for others. 

Often times, Pisces Venus isn’t interested in material values the other person brings, their material statues, their popularity or the like is nothing compared to how romantic or sentimental they can be. When they love, they love unconditionally, but this is also for others as well. 

People who end up with Pisces Venus has to realize the distinction that their unconditional love can extent to more than just romantic partners, those who wants to control or keep them bounded (possessive/obsessive signs) wouldn’t be able to stand this.

They’re attracted to people who can take what they have to give and appreciate them for these qualities. But this doesn’t mean it’s necessarily healthy. 

Since Pisces does rule the 12th house, sometimes Pisces Venus can exhibit strong Venus-Pluto aspect. They have to watch out because these kind of relationship and aspects can be toxic and difficult. 

There’s an intoxication to unequal relationship, strong dynamic of push and pull that lends more towards one side than the other, as well as people who might be more ‘broken’ than them so that they can give, nurture and support them. 

They have to be careful not to twist themselves into unhealthy habit, which can be hard to do. Often times they tend to end up with people who might not be as good for them as they should be.   

In her career, her Pisces Venus makes her value the softer, more subdued concepts or style. Pisces is extremely creative and channeling this into her work can really bring dreams into reality. 

Especially with the creative direction Taeyeon is taking, it will fuel both her Venus and her Sun into having an outlet for her self-expression. 

Taurus Mars

Taurus Mars are sure-footed, determined and persistent. She knows the path to success in her career is dedicated into hard work and practice, it won’t be easy but she’ll get there. 

I think Taeyeon in her career now is really a proof of such a Taurus Mars person. Starting from her SNSD rookie days, she was a great leader because she is steadfast and able to provide stability for the team to rely on. 

She’s unflinching to daunting tasks and in the face of danger she keeps her cool, it’s not that she’s unaffected, but with her Pisces placements her Taurus Mars really provides a stable work-ground and foundation for her to really step it up and develop it first before she gets to work on any of her signs.

Taeyeon really just hard-carries everything, it’s also probably part of the reason why SNSD lasts for so long. Although they’re slower to move than others, Taurean Mars are really built for establishing stability in a team. 

They’re loyal, understanding and practical. They’re also much more nurturing than any of the earth signs counterparts. This is such a good placement for a leader. 

Although they’re generally pretty easy-going and able to let things slide, once Taureans are angered to the point where they can’t repress it anymore- it’s explosive and powerful. Definitely a force to be reckoned with.

Earlier in her career Taeyeon was probably a lot more lenient to let things go than actually confront and work through problems with the members/company, however it is extremely unhealthy. This placement probably lets her know that she couldn’t do that anymore. The success of her team depends on her being able to regulate and express her emotions more frequently, thus by developing her Taurus Mars- she activates her Aries Moon as well.

This means that with tiny details and things that provokes her emotionally, she had learnt to let it show and get it over quickly. 

Aries are much more forgiving than a Taurus is, therefore when things really get to her- she’ll know how to control her Taurus Mars better and deal with it calmly instead of the bottled explosion she might’ve been prone to. 

Taurus Mars also points to her collecting stuff, possibly to support her Sun. There’s a need for material possession in Taurus, and thus there has to be a place to put it. Taeyeon being a homebody really shouldn’t come as a surprise nowadays considering she needs a home (Cancer) and stuff around her (Taurus) to feel comfortable.

Although they’re sensual position and has a charm about them that’s powerful and charismatic (Venus-ruled) they might be slower to arouse than others. 

Earth signs in Mars placement tends to seek material or physical comfort, in Taeyeon’s case it’s probably both. 

Physical affection from people close to her makes her feel comforted, but at the same touch don’t touch her when she’s angry.

Her Taurus Mars is ruled by Saturn/Capricorn, this really brings to a point how much her career really matters to her. It’s also probably part of the reason she became an idol in the first place, even though she had said she wouldn’t want her daughter to suffer the same fate that she went through in the industry.

Back in the days where Korea’s economy was trying to build itself up, it was almost impossible for students and artistic people to find a hobby in music/art. They don’t have time with their cram school, the increase in violence on the street and economic repercussion. In a way, it’s still affecting today’s society as well. Finding a stable job where you’re not temp or having that salary where you won’t be let go is hard. Joining an entertainment agency increases the opportunity for music/artistic jobs in the future, as well as a semi-stable career goals. 

Taeyeon joining SM entertainment is her Taurus Mars planning ahead for the future, practicality and hard work put into her craft to ensure the success of her career and the team’s stability.  

Taurus Mars are known to typically have pretty well-defined long-term goals and the certainty to achieve them. They’re determined and persistent, and after so many years being trainees and rookies, she was already predestined to make it big by her Taurus Mars trait (same as IU). 

Taurus Mars have to be careful with how stubborn they can be, it might serve her well within the company where if things need to get done she’ll have the driving force and persistency to nag them until they do. 

However with the people around her it can be infuriating due to how immovable they are. Since her Taurus is so domestic-loving and it’s harmonious with her sun, chances are she won’t be motivated to go anywhere if she’s already comfortable in her home.

Again, like earlier it’s probably better for her to try to do things or activities outside her house. It’ll help her regulate her Pisces more, and despite how comfortable her home and possessions are, the biggest lesson in these static stubborn signs is to let go and let transformation take over sometimes. Don’t be resistance to change even if it scares them sometimes, it’ll work out for the better of their psyche in the end. 

Conclusion:

There’s not much to say besides note how introverted she is. Such a homebody in terms of her possessions and domestic attachment.

She has really strong sun-venus aspect as well as sun-pluto aspect that are both positive, this amplifies her charm even more. Her charming nature really makes her popular with people around her and she’s so irresistible. 

At the same time, sun-pluto people are magnetic but tend to attract alot of haters who feels threatened by them because of their energy (chaotic energy/disharmonious). 

Her moon has alot of difficult aspects towards the outer planet, but having those aspects at all means there’s SOME kind of aura about her that’s magnetizing. In a way, she can be a person who wants to help others because she suffers alot on her own as well.

Having one’s emotions (moon) be in squares and oppositions to other planets really shows how conflicted she is, although her moon is appearing healthily on broadcast, she might suffer a lot more about it behind the scenes. Most probably she has a hard time not letting her anger explode and ruining long term plans, getting in her friendship or taking control of her life- which only just leads her to isolate herself even more. She has to learn how to confront these things healthily, and it’ll help bring better traits in her sun/moon both. 

Her Mercury is in a square with Jupiter, which might explain more reasons why the public might not view her in a favorable light sometimes. Sure, her words has sways and she reaches certain demographics, but it can also be aggravating or rubs other people the wrong way too. 

She has very healthy and positive Venus aspects (thank god) as well as Mars. She has a Mars-trine-Lilith, which brings to even more of a point that when she really utilize her chart well, she’ll have such endless possibilities waiting for her.

💕That’s a wrap for a brief overview of Taeyeon and her chart! She has such amazing aspects working for her, possibly one of the most charming ones out there that it’s impossible not to love her at some point. I’ve been thinking of doing Hyoyeon’s overview sometimes in the future but I don’t know yet! I’m working on a few things right now and I’m taking a flight tomorrow so I’ll have plenty of time to work on it in the meantime! 💕

danica's jaw dropped when seline actually threw a drink in someone's face. and of all the people, it was the empty-headed freak who threw a fit over the disgusting burgers. karma was so sweet. her surprised face turned into a large and giddy smile. "seline! you didn't have to fight for my cousin's fiance's best friend's honor!" she declared, placing her hand over her heart. "but i am so forever grateful. this will never be forgotten."

Seline grabs a cup of fruit punch and struts over to Taeng, moving out of Danica's eye view and winking. "Do it for the plot," she whispers, hoping Taeng will understand. She lets out a small, frustrated yell, and throws the punch over the others front, making sure to miss the eyes ( she wasn't awful, after all ).

"And thats," Seline shouts erratically, "for messing with Danica's cousin's fiance's best friend. Sorry, payback is a bitch!" Seline then flips her hair over her shoulder dramatically.

Project S The Series review

So glad I'm back here, posting again.

I've been away for health reasons but now I'm back. Hopefully I'll be able to update again my blog with gifs of dramas I've watched.

Okay, so this entry is my review for the Project S The Series. For people who didn't watch it, it's a sports series produced by GDH 559, a film and TV production outfit in Thailand. The series composed of 4 parts, focused on different sports. The first part is about volleyball, 2nd was about badminton, 3rd was about skateboarding and the last one was archery.

Each part has 8 episodes which kinda short for a lakorn (Thai drama) but I think it's sufficient enough to tell the whole story. Not complaining since not all long episodes means good too.

This review is kinda late since the series was over 2-3 months ago (while I was away and dealing with some issues with myself). I did watched the first to the 3rd part before I decided to step back with my lakorns and just finished the last instalment this week. I did enjoy most of it but I can also say that some of it bored me too.

I'll be doing the review in each part.

First instalment, the opening salvo for this series was entitled:

For such an ambitious project, this first instalment was weak to be the opening salvo. Usually, if you try to see if you will be hook by a series, you wanted to be surprised and amazed but this first instalment is weak in terms of story and acting. It bored me a little and I'm always asking, "is this really the story?, what's the gist?"

Personally, I did enjoy the casting. Oab Nithi (Puen) impressed me with his acting and his charmed. Bank, as a fan of him, left me disappointed. He needs improvement. Shocking tho, they didn't much use Apinnya's acting prowess in this part. She's just a support. If you enjoyed the movie, Whiplash, you will appreciate Punjan's (Coach Win) character in here.

Back to the story, towards the end, I did get what's the story is all about so on that aspect, I think the production achieved what they want. Maybe my standards are too high because it was the first instalment.

For the sports aspect, I love they got real Volleyball players as part of the casts and they simulate games which is not too dramatic. It's so refreshing especially in Thai lakorns which you rarely see.

Okay, this one was the best of all the parts. It has everything. Great casting, superb acting, touching drama..everything. Every episode made me teary eyed. Some of it I literally cried. It's so touching that you didn't even noticed that the episode just came to an end. I mean, you keep asking for more.

I love how the writer for this part incorporated sports (Badminton in this case) as a very valuable part for the development of the story and the characters itself. Again, for those people who didn't watch yet, I don't want to spoil you but you miss half of your life if you didn't watch it. Seriously, watch it. Haha.

The family dynamics in this part was so touching and realistic you will be thanking God for all the goodness that has happen in your life, for the caring family that you have and the good health you have right now. And the twist will left you amused. Damn! I didn't expected that to be honest.

Forgiveness and unrequited love were displayed tremendously in this part. The casts were all great. I can even point out someone who didn't made me cry. Tor Thanapob (Gym) always makes me proud as a fan. He never settled for less when it comes to acting and for that, he was nominated for Best Actor (for this role) in Thai TV Gold Awards. yeeepeey! (no winners yet as of this posting)

For the sports aspect, it was really a bonus that I like Badminton so I was so overjoyed to see them playing. Love every simulation they made.

I enjoyed this one too but not as much as the Side by Side part. This part has a very dark setting (not literally, but the issue that they tackled in this). Unlike the previous two parts, this one has the most sensitive issue to be tackled on a fictional setting and of course in a Thai TV environment. I appreciate that they made the core of the story about depression and how skateboarding helped Boo better. There's always that thin line in which you differentiate sadness from depression and many people has a misconception between the two so I'm happy that in a sense, this part made awareness to people, like me, to understand what is depression and it's just not sadness as a lot of people would have think.

For the most part, it's like I'm watching Hormones the Series again. The feelings were so raw you'll appreciate every emotions the cast shown in this part. Most notable would be the interaction of Boo and Simon. Simon was like the light Boo needs in his dark, isolated life. All the lines about life and how it fcks you up everytime makes sense by seeing these two in this story.

For the sports part, well, I'm not a fan of skateboarding but I did think of trying it out after watching this part.

And for the last instalment which I only watched this month (sorry for the long hiatus), Shoot! I Love You (such a corny title haha)

This last part was all about archery. What? Is this sport even an Asian thing? I'll get into that later why did I say so.

Unlike the previous 3 parts, I had a hard time finishing this one. Usually, if a series has already ended, I would marathon it and would only take about a week (for regular 15 episode lakorn (2 hours airtime)) and this one only have 8 episodes which would only run for 30-45 minutes each episode but took me 2 weeks to finish. Damn, that was painful. I said to myself I have to finish what I started so I tried my best to finish it.

This part was to fluffy for me. The acting was so weak especially Thanaerng and surprisingly, Frung. I really liked Frung in Hormones. Tho her character was not likeable in there but she did great for the most part in that series but I was so disappointed to see her in this part. She was like a rookie all over again and also Thanaerng. What's the f with all the unnecessary eye movement? It was like watching Pearwah in Hormones. It sucks. Jayleer and her have zero chemistry onscreen. I know they're dating but onscreen, they don't have it. 

The two boys (Jayleer and Non) really did good in this despite the weak story. This was the most boring part. I honestly don't know why they chose archery as the sports for this with all those technical explanations I didn't bother to understand at all. Archery is like golf for me. Sophisticated and elegant and if you want people to love it, you need to experience it. It's not ideal to make a drama out of it.

The whole point of the story was not well written too. I mean, I know it's all about cuteness and how to woo your crush by joining his father's archery club and your best friend who secretly loves you but man, I'm not buying it. I expected too much for this wonderful series and I was left disappointed at the end because of this part. 

The conflicts were rushed and unnecessary. Anyway, I'll not focus on the negatives but on the positive. I just wished tho that they made this last instalment a bomb for impression sake.

For the most part, it was so boring. The only bright thing that happened in this part was the ending. Bo and Shaun were so akwardly cute. Haha. No character development and it felt so rushed. I'm done with it.

For the sports aspect, hmmmmm. Why did they chose archery tho? I mean, of all the sports, why this? Is it popular in Thailand? I don't understand.

Elephants Continue to be 'Broken' for the Thriving 'Sanctuaries' Tourism

Here young elephants are "broken" to interact with tens of millions of tourists who visit Thailand every year, many eager to capture social media-worthy encounters of the kingdom's national animal playing sports, dancing and even painting. Villagers in Ban Ta Klang who have been working with the large, gentle animals for generations say taming is necessary for safety reasons and that the force is not excessive. "We do not raise them to hurt them... if they are not stubborn, we do nothing to them," said mahout Charin, as he stroked Ploy's head affectionately and spoke of her as part of his family. Some reported cases of elephants at so-called sanctuaries being chained for long hours, forced to sleep on concrete, and malnourished. But there is little impetus to enact more stringent rules that would cut into the Thai tourism industry, which welcomed more than 38 million visitors this year.  A committee of several animal welfare associations submitted recommendations to the government last year advocating stricter controls for elephants in captivity. But according to activist Sovaida Salwala from Friends of the Asian Elephants, an NGO who helped compile the report, their requests "remain unanswered so far". i was cool with her stans until i saw how shady and mean they truly are. all my old friends were golden stars lmao. and don’t even get me STARTED on the way they treat tiffany. like... definitely not. won’t stand for that. and yeah even some claiming ot9 are shady as hell when it’s convenient for them. i just try to stay away from people like that

Is working in an elephant sanctuary an ethical tourist activity? In recent years, this question, and wildlife tourism as a whole has been hotly contested. There is much debate as to whether the industry is truly beneficial. Many oppose such operations, with the belief that we should not exploit wild animals for monetary gain. This concern is certainly a valid one. Still, others argue that these practices show poachers that animals are more valuable alive and in their natural environment. Am I supporting local companies?

When traveling consciously, the first step is to do your homework. Supporting the local economy is crucial – that means giving your business directly to locals. It might sound like common sense, but many establishments and attractions that are popular with tourists are often owned and operated by large foreign corporations who have the capital to start high volume operations. Doing business with them means that most, if not all, profits go into the pockets of people who don’t live in the country and who may not have a direct mission to protect the wildlife they own. Conversely, with careful research, you can identify locally-owned and operated companies that will allow your money to do more good. Remember this extends further than just the elephant sanctuary you visit. Ask yourself: Is your hotel run by a family or is it part of a chain? Are you having dinner at an authentic restaurant or one you could dine at back home? Questions like these are simple, but important to consider.

Should we do an elephant ride?

Riding an elephant is often a highly anticipated experience, but in reality, it’s very harmful to the animals. One ride itself doesn’t necessarily injure the elephants (they’re pretty massive creatures, after all), but it’s the abuse they endure during the process of “training” that is cruel. Plus, the long-term impact of constant rides can be detrimental to their health, both physically and mentally. Understanding this fact and taking action is the first step to protecting these majestic creatures. Your decision to not support these behaviors and the companies that promote them, does make a difference.

Ok, so what kind of Sanctuary should I support?

Selecting sanctuaries run by conservationists presents a better option. Many of these locations offer alternative experiences such as bathing and caring for the elephants. Travelers love getting up close with elephants, which can often lead to real friendships with the extremely intelligent mammals. Sanctuaries operating this way are beneficial for the well-being of the elephants, create a truly rewarding experience for visitors and provide a positive way for locals to make a living.

Taeyeon was doing the Knock Knock dance as she was walking behind Mina and Chaeng noticed and pointed it out, and then Nayeon finally saw Taeng and did a full deep bow and then she just looked shell shocked for a bit afterwards lol

"corina," corina finished off the stranger's sentence. she continued to stare up at the stranger but a smile grew wide on her face. it wasn't easy to miss the change in the stranger's demeanor, and the fluttering of the eyelashes definitely stroked corina's ego a little bit. the flower dance got interesting every year! "i think volunteering to be a flower crown assistant would warrant some forgiveness. care to join us down here on the ground, lovely? and i think it's only fair you give me your name now that i've given you mine."

"It is important to raise one's voice to the world, don't you think?" Taeng asked with an alluring smile. As she spoke with the woman, her plot began to unfold in Taeng's mind. Clearly she'd purposely grabbed her foot to get her attention. Why? Well, she must have been positively bewitched by Taeng's looks from across the field! She let her doe eyes go wide and demure, batting her eyelashes as she added. "But I suppose I was quite loud now. You'll have to inform me what I can do to win your forgiveness...?" she trailed off waiting for the woman to fill in the blank with her name.
