Berry's Oasis Springs Rebuild Project Pt.I (a work in progress) There's something I love about Oasis Springs and it's one of my favourite worlds to build in, even though its climate and architectural styles couldn't be further from home. I've worked on a "complete" Oasis Springs for quite some time and it's a project dear to my heart. First, I obviously want to finish rebuilding one world, which is something I've struggled with and never actually done before. With that being said, finishing Oasis Springs is pretty much the challenge I've set for myself this year. Second, building mcm houses has become one of my favourite pastimes in TS4, and it's one of those architectural styles I've come to love and be good at it.
So let's see how far I got in Oasis Springs until now - and what's still missing! (ramblings after the cut)
Disclaimer: This is not a save-file by any means! I'm not cut out for that, but (!) I've shared some shells before and will share some more in the future. Some of these builds are not originally by me - so they are - for obvious reasons - private.
When I started building in Oasis Springs, I did it without any intention of ever 'rebuilding' it and I used old blueprints of mcm houses to get a general idea of the layouts of the houses and the architectural characteristics. I had to compromise very often as the lots were too small or the proportions were off, but the blueprints have been a huge help for me to get into a groove with mcm builds!
I initially started out with cc builds, as I hoard cc and love to use it, but as I sometimes like to challenge myself (read: suffer) I recreate my builds without cc. Most of the early mcm-builds I shared on the gallery (ID: aeromantica) are also available as cc-versions, but as I never posted them "officially" on my blog as they precede its creation, there's no use in downloading them tbh, there's no cc list either and I'm not interested in creating one.

Let's begin with Bedrock Strait - the most complete neighbourhood, from which I shared 3 builds already. The above image was actually the inspiration behind Begonia Drive 509. Today (after a long break) I finally finished my latest build on the remaining 20x15 lot, which in turn started this whole "I need to write a detailed post about my Oasis Springs project"-thing lol.
And this is the build! A very simple yet elegant build, that some might recognise from my Literary Club post early this year:
So what's missing is the Trailer Park, although I'm not really sure whether it'll stay a trailer park. This was meant to be Johnny Zest's home and I already did the interior, but I might just add another mcm house, though I do like the idea that there's still one lot that isn't so 'polished' in between the mcm houses so I might just keep it. I'd have to add one or two additional trailers though.
Now, Parched Prospect is also almost finished - just one more build for me to build. I dislike the playground right next to that one lot immensely though!
I think the first build I built here was Wisteria Drive and then I just kept going and added the other 2 houses in a record time. The Spanish revival house in this neighbourhood that is also pictured in my header is not mine but is by @/alcearosea-sims. I think it's called Helena Drive... and it's meant for a bigger lot so I had to do some landscaping. For the last house in this neighbourhood I'm still indecisive - another mcm house or a Spanish revival house (which will be difficult on a 20x15 lot I think)?
So that's it for now - I'll be back with a 2nd part at some point to talk about the other builds in this world. I hope you enjoyed this little behind the scenes peak into this project!

i was wondering, is there a specific city you had in mind for the general look/feel of olympus? the panel of the olive branch looks similar to french architecture.
p.s. the progression in your art from the first brunch ep to now is insane! you and banshriek have truly outdone yourselves!
That's more of a question for Banshriek as he leads the charge on most of the background designs! Though I can def show you some of the cool stuff he whipped up during the design process. A lot of this was done on the fly alongside the production of Episode 67, as we hadn't created a proper interior model / layout for the Olive Branch yet. All we really had to work with was the exterior model, but that at least gave us a good starting point. There was a bit of tweaking that happened along the way, but I'm pretty happy with where it ultimately ended up!!
(art credit ^^^ to Banshriek! I'd link their Tumblr but they're off-grid atm
We came up with some other fun worldbuilding stuff during this process but it's not quite ready to show off yet (and some of it we're not gonna reveal until it comes time for it to show up in the comic ;3)

At the Bathhouse
A Shanks x Ghost Rose Oc (FemReader)
👉 Masterlist
(Now in AO3 too)
Fic based on my OPLA older guysxfemreader headcanons here and certain scene from this FanaticSnail's fic.
Because when Shanks makes a sexy cameo at a bathhouse, I need to write a oneshot of Shanks getting sexy at a bathhouse.
If I said I didn't intended for this to go as NSFW as it got... I would be lying. Of course I wrote a fic with Shanks at a bathhouse with all the intention for things going NSFW. You can thank @fanaticsnail for the idea and the moodboard. Thank you so much, gurl, you inspire me so much!!!! Everybody go give her some well deserved love.

Moodboard by FanaticSnail 💞
Summary: You found yourself separated from your crew after a plan going sideways. Stranded in this little island with a bathhouse and no signal of your captain through your phone, there's exactly one person that you can always count to pick you up. Warnings: NSFW, sex in a public setting, voyeurism, some unconsensual voyeurism due to public setting. Somehow, I managed to not use the word fuck. Is it progress? Expect: That ex-turned-bestie that always appear out of air when you need him. Lovers to Friends to Friends with Benefits. Shanks gets affectionate and handsy with you being a cool pirate thief. Brief Mihawk cameo because I'm trash and need to make him suffer. Use of You not Y/N. Bad english, consistent time tenses not detected.
11-ish years ago...
If there was one person in all the Blues that you can always count to somehow be exactly where and when you needed him was Shanks.
On the rare occasions in your young adult life since you parted ways that you found yourself in a bad place, be it literally or metaphorically, he'd be at enough short distance to pick you up, also literally or metaphorically.
Like right now when you are stranded in this whatever-island after the worst job in your pirate history.
Not that you have failed. The intel you were acquiring now in your captain's hands, unlike you that had to ditch some last minute inconveniences and resorted to your only-emergency escape plan for the first time which consisted in telling your team to get the hell out of there with the catch while you took the roll of bait, found your own way out of the Marine Base and back to your crew on your own... eventually.
You didn't know it yet but this would be the job that finally gets you your current wanted poster thanks to the one knife with rose carvings that you left behind at the scene and the fact nobody was able to catch a glimpse of you, them naming you The Ghost Rose from now on.
Hence your current predicament. Having taken the first fishing boat you found that would take you to the next neighboring island and so on until you found yourself in this little rock, almost empty except for a bathhouse and some B&B's. One of those little hot spring resorts only known by enough people to keep them going.
Perfect to lay low for a few days until you could send a message to your Captain… or it would be if the damn Portable Den Den Mushi just connected your calls.
"Damn, not again." You mutter after the fifth attempt to call your crew.
You were currently in the personal room you purchased for your stay. The architecture and interior design of the building inspired by those of Wano with its minimalist wooden interiors, sliding doors and low furniture for sitting on the floor where you lay comfortably in a light bath robe while considering your options.
There was still the possibility of calling Shanks even if the odds of him being close enough to pick you up were low, he'd probably be better equipped than you to contact Captain Erik.
The ringing tone of the call finally connecting made you sigh in relief.
"Hello?" Came the familiar voice of Benn Beckman through the shell. Because there was no way that he would allow Shanks near their own Portable Den Den Mushi after THE incident from six years ago.
"Beck! You have no idea how great it is to hear your voice right now." You answered to the Redhead Pirate's First Mate.
"Little Rose! Please, tell me you’re coming back at last so I can finally retire." How the man managed to sound so defeated at his age was a mystery to anyone who wasn’t aware of Shanks' antics. Beckman had been asking you to come back since you left to sail with the Phantom Pirates arguing how much more manageable his captain was when you were around.
"Hold on there, old man. You still have plenty of time to become the grumpy grandpa." It had become an ongoing joke between you two to mock him for being the oldest and “designated dad” of the crew. Beck didn't have time to answer when you heard a little commotion on the line and the telling sound of the phone changing hands.
"Sweetheart!!!" Shanks's excited shout was so loud you could swear it reverberated in your own walls.
"Hey, dear."
Even after you had officially ended your romantic relationship years ago, it was impossible to stop the man from calling you lover pet names so you had go on with it too.
"Where's the fight, love? I'll be there in a heartbeat." You could hear several male grunts and indefinite clothing background sounds.
"Is it a bad time? I just need you to pass a message to my cap' so they know I'm fine and on the low. My Portable Den Den doesn't connect."
"More like a bath time!"
"Hey, didn't they say the mushies didn't connect with the outside?"
"You on your own? Say no more! Where are you, babe?"
"Shanks, there's no need..."
"Nonsense. Coordinates, now." You had forgotten how much you liked when your ex lover got all commanding. He was so carefree and easygoing most of the time.
"Aye, sir." You answered with a sultry voice you know always drove him crazy. "It's this little rock with a bathhouse and hot springs..." You explained and started giving him the numbers when you felt the air getting all heavy, almost electrified, with a powerful haki seeking your presence.
Oh...
You took the shell out of your ear and calmly put your Portable Den Den Mushi away before a powerful kick sent the delicate woody and paper wall away revealing the figure of one of the most infamous pirate captains in all the Blues, almost naked save for a small towel at his hips, disheveled red hair and his signature straw hat hanging from his neck at his back.
"Sweetheart!!!" Came the man’s thunderous shout for the second time. His arms outstretched, offering warmth and anticipation, eager to envelop you in an affectionate hug.
"I am not paying for that..." You said pointing to the destroyed wall.
Yep. That was Shanks, always coming out from wherever whenever you needed him, no matter the odds.
.
Five minutes later, you found yourself sitting on Shanks lap in the spring waters. He had picked you up in his arms and hasn't let you down since then. Like a kid with his favorite transitional object. But you couldn't deny that his affectionate embrace was contagious. You had missed him dearly too.
You two haven't seen each other in almost two years, since you broke up with Kuro to the everlasting joy of the redhead who had hated the guts of the young Black Cat's Captain, knowing from the beginning that the psycho could never deserve you. Shanks was still delighted in the fact it had been him who snitched the identity of the pirate captain to the Marines after his little stunt with you. Nobody messes with his friends, he thought while embracing your almost naked form over him.
It had been even more years since he had felt your skin against his and it was getting him giddy.
The rest of the crew was scattered around in different states of contentment but no one as deeply relaxed as Beck who laid floating with a towel over his eyes, completely zone out with the knowledge that he wouldn't be babysitting his captain as long as you were there. He was always in his best behavior around you; you’ve been a really big positive influence in the past, helping him mature into the man he was now and making the First Mate’s life a little more manageable. Until it was party time and Beck had to be the “designated babysitter” of his captain to prevent him from making some extravagance.
Poor man almost never got a proper break during vacation.
"So, rosie, you said you're on the low." Said Yassop perched belly up on a rock, an arm and leg in the hot water. "What've you been up to?"
"Yeah, must've been a big score. We've been dodging battleships for three days before docking here." Added Beck from his floating spot.
That made you feel better. If the Marine was still searching the waters, it means they hadn't caught the Angel of Music, Phantom Pirate’s ship.
You started telling them how things had gone a little sideways with your last infiltration and you had to resort to the only-emergency plan so your crew could get away with the intel.
Shanks smiled even more widely, proud of your abilities to get away from an entire Marine Base all by your own and without being seen. Such a long shot from the spoiled little socialite that had run away with him all those years ago.
He knew the moment he saw you standing up to a bunch of assholes at that bar that you were a wild card, a diamond in the rough wasting away in a privileged life. And when months later, Captain Erik, a seasoned and mysterious pirate captain, infamous for dealing with the most valuable information and treasures of all the Blues, the main intel dealer of Gold Roger himself, saw the same potential in you, Shanks knew he had to let you go to bloom, even if it was away from him.
And bloomed you had, not just in abilities but in beauty. Shanks could swear you got even more gorgeous every time he sees you.
"Ah, that's my girl." He murmured against your hair, inhaling the sweet scent of flowers and berries you favored, unlike the elegant roses everybody relates to you, and still make his mouth water. Your hand entangled in his red locks with your fingernails caressing his scalp while you tell your tale wasn’t helping… or was helping too much.
"So that's why you needed to send the message to..." Roux almost choked on his turkey piece when he caught his captain's stare, the only warning before he buried his face in your neck.
"Yeah, the lady at the desk said the mushis didn't receive or send signals from outside the island. Only the big tower at the beach can make outside calls..." Commented Beck in blissful ignorance that you didn't get because Shanks had started to leave a trail of kisses on your neck.
He draw his hand from your shoulder down your back, removing the towel that covered your torso, following a delicate pattern with his fingers over your skin to your side while his lips found a certain spot behind your ear that made you arch your back, almost revealing your full bosom out of the blurring water if not for his other hand wandering from your thigh to your belly and up to your chest. His big palm and long fingers enough to cover and fondle a breast.
The crew started making a hasty exit from that part of the springs.
Yassop rolled to the other side of his rock and dropped into the water with a soft splash. Meanwhile the rest of the men walked or swam away through the rocks that formed a natural barrier to the other side of the springs. Roux managed to catch Beck by his foot and started pulling him across the surface of the water. The First Mate lifted the edge of the towel on his face to give his crewmate a questioning gaze but a female moan uttering Shanks’ name was enough to make him cover his face again and let himself be dragged away, letting his captain be re-acquainted with his not-so-former lover.
“Sha… Shanks… they…”
“Gonne, babe, you know they know better.”
Oh, yeah, all of them did. When it came to their captain, all the crew knew that when he got frisky with a woman it was everybody else who had to get another room, not him. Shanks became an immovable being just living the moment. Something you learned too some weeks after meeting him and decided that you in fact wanted to be more with him. You had to get rid of your inhibitions very early in your relationship.
“So… did you hide a blade under your towel or are you that happy to see me?”
“Ecstatic, love. Let me show you how much.”
.
When Yassop had roll over his rock to get away from the image of his captain starting to frolic with his old flame (not that the sniper blame him, he knew what it was like to decide to separate from a love to fulfill a dream of your own), he didn’t expected to find himself face to face with Dracule Mihawk drilling him with his yellow gaze for splashing him in his escape.
“Why am I not surprised that it was you, noisy lowlifes, the ones behind all this scandal?” The swordsman voiced in his bored tone while removing some plugs from his ears at seeing the Redhead's Crew appearing literally from among the rocks.
He had just arrived this morning, seeking some relaxing time after 3 days of receiving calls from some lowly Marine Captain for him to go and get some thieves that had infiltrated his office and steal who knows what. Their only clue being a brief description of a ship getting away into the fog and a forgotten knife with rose carvings from some mysterious figure. The knife was new, but that ship and the fog? He had told him to just forget about his stolen goods. The Phantom Pirates were untraceable and he was in no mood to go hunting ghosts.
Mihawk’s gaze passed over the men currently occupying HIS space, finding the absence of a certain red hair individual.
“Isn’t your captain among you? It sure was his haki I felt ten minutes ago. I could use some exercise.” He said standing up and looking over the rocks.
“No, wait!”
“You don’t want to…”
Upon looking beyond, the warlord came across the image of the redhead captain in a passionate embrace with the most exquisite woman his eyes had ever seen. At that moment, Shanks took the exotic beauty by her small waist to get her out of the water and tenderly laid her onto the surface of the nearest rock with the perfect shape to support her body like an offering. Her long dark hair barely obscured the view of her glorious body. His hungry eyes traveled over golden tanned skin, from her long shapely legs to wide hips and full breasts.
Mihawk had never considered that he had a type until that same moment.
He was about to seek the face of the woman of his dreams, when she moved one of her legs expertly, using her foot to get rid of the flimsy towel around Redhead’s hips, getting Mihawk abruptly out of his reverie with an image he was certainly NOT desiring to live in his head and a strong need for a brain bleach to clean it from what he just unwilling witnessed.
He turned around hastily to find himself with the stare of the entire Redhead’s Crew going from judgemental to “told you so” looks that got immediately diverted by the death glare of their captain’s rival who decided to take his leave and left the duel for another day… or several months.
.
Half an hour later, you laid over Shanks’ wide chest, both of you floating in the warm water in postorgasmic bliss.
It had been years since you had felt this safe and sound in the arms of a lover. The level of trust and affection Shanks inspired on you never having an equal even if those feelings came from friendship and respect instead of romantic love. Your young broken heart was still too tender at that time to let yourself fall for the redhead when you met. A blessing in disguise since you’re fully aware now that Shanks isn’t someone who would settle with just one lover for a long amount of time and you both have different life goals.
“Where were you headed before all the turmoil we caused?”
“East Blue. I found this little village months ago. It’s a good place to hide and I promised I’d go back soon.” Explained Shanks remembering a certain little kid that was surely counting the days until the arrival of the Red Force. “What ‘bout you? Where’s your meeting point with old Cap’ Erik?”
“If all else failed, Oykot Kingdom.”
Shanks' grin intensified upon hearing that.
.
That evening, Benn Beckman walked to the tower at the beach to borrow their Den Den Mushi and made a call to a certain Shostakovich Eriksson and left the message of his assistant being safe and sound and that she will reunite with him in the agreed location but to don’t count on them arriving very soon.
The Redhead’s First Mate had all the intention of taking his sweet time enjoying this unexpected vacation.

Arvo Pärt - Berliner Messe: Agnus Dei
Few works capture Arvo Pärt’s aesthetic with such clarity as the Agnus Dei from his Berliner Messe. Recorded by Tõnu Kaljuste with the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir and the Tallinn Chamber Orchestra, and released by ECM in 1993, this performance delivers a rigorous, introspective, and technically flawless interpretation. One hears with striking clarity the voice of a composer who has redefined sacred music from a place of radical interiority. Arvo Pärt has built a personal musical language in which every excess has been stripped away, distilling sound to its essential truth. In this Agnus Dei, arguably one of the most beautiful in the contemporary repertoire, his aesthetic ideal is fully realized: stillness understood not as the absence of motion, but as a form of transcendence. The piece is written in a homophonic texture, with no counterpoint or harmonic expansion. Everything serves a structural simplicity that, paradoxically, demands absolute technical control. Pärt employs his signature tintinnabuli style, in which one voice moves melodically while another circles around the tones of a triad. The result is a tension between movement and stasis that creates a contemplative atmosphere. Here, the harmony, built on a restrained Dorian mode, avoids progression and dramatism in favor of purity. Each phrase is separated by silences that do not interrupt but articulate the musical discourse: silence as an active element of form. Kaljuste’s interpretation, under the unmistakable ECM aesthetic, stands out for its balance, precision, and tonal transparency. The Estonian choir, composed of extraordinarily unified voices, maintains impeccable intonation and phrasing that respects the inner architecture of the work. The string orchestra provides a warm, ethereal support without obscuring the clarity of the ensemble. This recording stands among the most refined and essential in Pärt’s sacred catalogue, a work of luminous restraint where beauty emerges not from excess, but from the clarity of what remains.

I updated the part I wrote yesterday
I'd like to see @cloudfilledpillow take a picture of this one
“Hey Cepheus-,” she called, over the sounds of the nearing musicians.
“Hmm?”
“If you had to rate Rosas on a scale of 1 to 10 stars, with one being the worst and 10 being the best, where would you place it?”
He quirked a brow. “Rate Rosas? On what exactly? Because if we’re talking about the interior design of your castle, I’m going to need a number much lower than 1-,”
“No, no, no silly, I’m talking about in terms of the people, the architecture, the culture and community, you know things like that. How would you rate it?”
“Hmm,” he rubbed his chin thoughtfully. “Well, I’ve only been here for a few days, but all things considered, I do enjoy your food, and your people are rather pleasant-,” he paused, waving to a small crowd of admiring girls. “So all in all, I think I’d give it seven me’s.”
“Seven you’s-,” she’d paused, scowling at the star’s wordplay. “only seven?!”
“I think seven is a very good number-,”
“But why not ten?! Isn’t Rosas perfect? I mean look at it!” she motioned to the island in the distance. “A lot of people live here, we don’t pay taxes, which is honestly amazing. We’re progressive, How in the world isn’t that perfect?:
“I should be the one asking you that,” he started as he’d leaned against the ship’s nearby hull. “After all, I wouldn’t be here to grant a ‘wish for more’ if this place was that perfect.”
“...Fine so maybe it’s not perfect! But that doesn’t mean that it’s not great for what it is and shouldn’t be around for centuries to come, right?!”
The star halted in his tracks, briefly staring at her thoughtfully before speaking, “You know Asha, if I didn’t know any better, I’d nearly be tempted to think that you’re trying to convince me to stay here” he teased as she quickly shook her head. “Maybe we could even live together! How does that sound?
“There is no way I’m going to let any man who isn’t my husband live with and annoy me, so no Cepheus. That is not happening.”
“You’d let your husband annoy you?” Cepheus asked, looking stunned. “What has the prince done to earn that honor?”
“The prince? You think I’d ever have a chance with the prince?” she asked before her expression soured. How was the prince supposed to love her, when he couldn’t even trust her? He couldn’t even use her lack of powers as an excuse, as he’d had no problem getting Dahlia involved. He’d even brought her and the others back a gift during his time in exile, something he’d failed to give her, unless she’d counted the manuscripts. Sorry, his manuscripts.
“Whatever,” she snapped, forcefully pushing away both the star and her unhappiness as she continued to make her way through the crowd. Who the prince decided to gift was none of her business.
“Asha?” Cepheus called, following after her as she heard Valentino pleat. “Asha wait up, where are you going?”
“Here,” she answered, pointing to two spare crates that had served as seats.
“Are you cold?” Cepheus had asked, taking a seat next to her as she pulled her father’s journal out of her satchel, fully intent on putting herself to work as soon as possible.
“Not yet,” she sighed, shivering at a passing sea breeze.
“Here,” He hummed, simply waving his hand as she felt all the dampness of her clothes disappear as a few large water droplets formed near her feet. “Is that better?”
“Yes, thank you,” She nodded, a little shocked at how quickly he’d done it as he quietly shrugged off his cape, placing it within his lap before he pulled out a pair of sewing needles.
“What are you doing?”
“Fixing the cape,” he replied as he quickly threaded the needle. “Pity it couldn’t burn more so I could remake it from scratch, but I suppose I’ll have to make do with the damage that has been done.”
“You’d really remake it from scratch if it had been burnt?”
“Of course! Any alteration to this would be an upgrade! It’s so short! Where is the elegance?!” he cried, dramatically holding it up for her to see. “The prestige?! The flair?!”
Her eye twitched. “Cepheus this is a cape for a peasant-,”
“And another thing I’ll have to add to the list of sins for Rosas,” he shook his head disapprovingly before he resumed sewing.
Asha sighed, but she knew better than to argue with the star on the matter of capes as a voice called, “Cepheus!”
Abigail and her friends quickly came into view, pushing through the crowd.
“Are you two alright?!” Abigail started.
“We heard someone was trying to assassinate you!” Mizuki cried.
“It’s not the same girl who you were telling us couldn’t make happy right?” Maria demanded. “Because if it is this just makes her tasteless and stupid!”
“Ha ha,” Cepheus shook his head. “No no, it wasn’t her.”
“Then who was it?” Mizuki asked as the crowd of girls held their breath.
“I’m not sure,” he confessed. “They were wearing hoods, so it was hard to see their faces.”
Moireach pushed forward, a fiery look of determination in her eyes as she spoke, “Well…I come from a long line of warriors! I swear if you want or need someone to avenge you, I’m your girl!”
“Really?” Cepheus asked, looking visibly impressed. “You would do that for me?”
Moireach fervently nodded as the other girls shook their heads. “All you would need to do is ask!”
“You honor me, my lady,” Cepheus grinned as he gently took her hand. “I am forever in your debt.”
Ugh, Asha was starting to get dizzy now as rolling your eyes while on a ship had admittedly not been one of her brighter moments.
But unfortunately for her, the amount of Cepheus’s admirers surrounding them would only increase bringing with them their families and any curious onlooker.
To her it was nearly bizarre, watching as they’d all willingly congregated towards the creature that they’d soon learned their future monarch willingly slaughtered. perhaps it was A subtle awakening of their powers that often lay beneath the surface, as she’d once recalled hearing the king say.
But whatever it was had seemingly left the crowd fixated on the star as she’d soon found herself at the foot of a respectably sized crowd. One that Asha would blame for the difficulty she’d faced while trying to read her father’s journal.
“You have such a beautiful accent,” a beautiful young woman commented, who from the looks of things was probably one of the new arrivals. “And you speak so well, where are you from?”
Oh please, his accent hadn’t been that pleasing to the ears! She rolled her eyes before she struggled to translate the star’s following response as he’d spoken in the girl’s language. “You flatter me-” Had he said flatter or flatten? “I come from a galaxy”-a land-far far away- what?! What was that supposed to mean?!- “I’d had…to study your language…I couldn’t pass on, not when it had given me the opportunity to-....with…enchanting…yourself.”
She was certain there’d been more that she’d failed to translate as he’d continue too fast for her to comprehend, but whatever it had been was enough to please the woman as she and the star had stared at each other like they’d been the only ones on the boat.
Relief had filled her as the young woman had eventually introduced her friends who’d more or less exchange a few pleasant words with him, but the results were still the same.
“For someone who’s never been here before, you certainly know how to speak all of those languages fluently” she noted as the crowd had turned its attention elsewhere.
“Thank you, Asha,” he smiled, completely oblivious to the suspicion that had laced her tone. “Would you like to know the secret?”
Her curiosity got the better of her as she replied, “Let me guess…magic?”
“Nope,” He laughed, pointing towards his head, “science.”
Her eye twitched again as she crossed her arms, “...You just like to amuse yourself, don’t you?”
“Amuse myself?” the star frowned as he’d adjusted the cape that lay within his lap. “Why would I need to amuse myself when I have you?”
She should’ve known that the star was just joking. He probably hadn’t meant anything by it, but the words had slipped from her lips without thinking, “Is that all I am to you?” she asked, feeling her fingers claw at the wooden crate beneath her. “Just amusing?”

With everything going on in life, I’ve been multitasking like a pro. And I’ve also been multitasking a lot of stuff in the fandom. They should write my name under the definition of “Multitasking” in the dictionary, haha!
Wondering why? Here’s why!
Spending time with my family, my pet and friends? Absolutely! That’s the top priority.
Finishing my art and technology classes at the junior high school? Yep!
Wrapping up my interior architecture classes at the high school? Oh yes!
Submitting grades for both schools? Done! And I’ll miss school for 4 months. You could say I teach wholeheartedly.
Completing my university architecture classes? Yes teaching is over and I’m also working on their exam questions.
Wrapping up my own PhD classes? Finally finished yesterday and now I’m studying for the exams coming up in the next two weeks.
Final edits of the paper “Understanding Iranian Architecture in the Sasanian Era: An Intertextual Approach to Tradition, Inspiration, and Influences”? Approved by the professor and it’s getting published! Creating a 50x70 data sheet on Taq Kasra as part of the same paper? Checked off! The energy I put into this one could’ve written a whole essay. (Data extracted from approximately 150 papers (both English and Farsi) on the last Persian empire: the Sasanian dynasty, during this semester. E / ndNote’s gonna sue me for overusing their app, haha!)
Submitting the final version of another paper with my other professor “Reassessing the Role of Game Theory in Architecture” which she approved last week? Done! Thanks to Rowzane magazine for mentioning game theory and architecture in their latest issue. (They even mentioned A / C!! Should I make that a new post??)
Final approval of my PhD topic just in time for my oral exam next March? Yep! I proposed it to my advisor yesterday and she loved it! I won’t name this one just yet. It’s a secret. This one stays nameless… until the day I defend it and make it mine.
Violin practice? Of course! There’s always time for that too.
And on top of all that I got two new design offers last week.
An interior design for a 200-square-meter home appliances store? Yep! Already accepted and I’m working on its 3D modeling and rendering.
Another architectural planning for a 1,200-square-meter office space? Also in progress with my team under my supervision.
Do I still have time to play V / alha / lla? Of course!! How could I not play it? I’m already +30 hours in!
Time for Tumblr? Oh, for sure; about an hour or so a day. I try to create different content here too.
With all these responsibilities, what about fanfiction? Oh I’m working on that too! A four-part story: two parts about B / asim, two parts about L / oki. So it’s a work in progress!! (Why did I separate letters in some specific names? I don’t want this post to show up in searches. This is a personal post and it’s not fa / ndom-related.)
I tend to be more productive when I have a million things to do. Writing/reading fics seems like a kind of escapism for me.
And with all this… do I still have time to catch my breath? To sleep and eat? Absolutely. I’ve got other things to do as well and I’m pretty sure I’ve missed a few.
See? If multitasking were an Olympic thing, I think I’d be winning medals every time! Joke aside, it comes with the mindset I guess. I can’t live without a goal. (or two, or three or…) We’re super competitive here.
Years ago, I had a friend from the Netherlands. We were best friends for years and even back then I was always busy. I remember one time she told me this song reminded her of me.
youtube
She was right. She still is.
Still, am I happy? Most certainly! I’m standing exactly where I’ve always wanted to be! And I feel more than capable.

Taste of Luxury
Prompt: Takeout
TW/CW: Jade gets pissed at a service worker but it stays in her head (mostly), barely proofread and I appreciate spellchecks!
Word Count: 1,058
A/N: Another ficlet in the vein of "hot mommy character takes a load off in a non-sexual way." Or I guess, like... attempts to take a load off. My biggest gripe with my Kafka fic was that there wasn't any conflict to set it apart so here I am! Fixing that issue, lol. Also yeah the food is technically delivered as opposed to takeout/takeaway but the sentiment is the same!!!
Likes and Reblogs appreciated (reblogs > likes) and Requests are Open! Read this story on Ao3 here!

She worked two jobs. That was something a lot of people seemed to forget, but it was true. Jade was... maybe half of the line from that one song. And while she did both jobs flawlessly--with barely a hair out of place the whole time, might she add--it was tiring work. Especially in those heels…
So when her blessed day off came, Jade took every chance she could to relax. A sizable hunk of her paychecks went to nice skincare, specialty baths, and the most comfortable robes and pajamas she could get delivered to her atmosphere-gracing flat. And another, slightly less sizable chunk was spent on comfort food, hand delivered to her door with a massive tip for the trouble of braving all those blasted stairs.
And tonight was no different! Well. It was kind of different. She'd just gotten out of her fancy bath and into her nice purple silk pajamas, her face adorned with a nice moisturizing mask, and while it had been as luxurious as it always was, her literal taste was skewing a bit more unique than normal.
Usually Jade ordered some noodles from a local soup place, or a custom sandwich from down the road, but tonight she found herself craving a nice fish meal. Maybe sushi? Maybe a salmon steak? After some scrolling she settled on the latter. A new place had opened recently and while it was on the other side of the city, her delivery people knew to be fast.
So she ordered the salmon steak from the menu, completely disregarding the price, and settled onto her couch to watch some television and wait. If the app was to be believed--and it usually was--she would have her food just in time for the next episode.
So she waited.
And waited.
And waited.
She looked at her phone. It had only been thirty minutes, but a rumbling stomach made that feel more like an hour. Especially when that little progress bar for her delivery had barely moved. Frustration aside, Jade knew that it was a new place, it was probably popular, so the kitchen was just busy.
The TV show was boring her, so off it went in favor of one of the coffee table books Jade had artfully laid out on her glass coffee table. It was one of those architecture books, detailing some interior design set-ups from across the galaxy. She had looked at it... maybe once? Twice? Before it was delegated to decoration. It was nice to look through it again and take in all the glamorous archways and beautiful bedspreads.
As she appreciated a view from some distant desert planet, her stomach rumbled. How long had it been? Another half hour, and the bar still hadn't moved. Motivated by her grumbling stomach, the Stoneheart tapped the "contact restaurant" button and shut her book. Some answers, at the very least, would make this better.
When the line picked up, she was greeted instantly by the sounds of a noisy kitchen. There was sizzling and steaming and the hollow *thunk thunk thunk!* of a knife against a chopping board.
"Whale Island Seafood, how can I help?" half-wheezed the voice on the other line. Jade could see the sweat and frayed hair of this server in her mind.
"Hello." Jade kept her voice measured. "I ordered some food from you about an hour ago and it hasn't arrived yet."
"Oh, yeah! Sorry about that--" the waitress sniffed, probably swiping at her nose. "The kitchen's been backed up for a while now. We weren't expecting to be so busy today." Poor girl had probably been up on her feet all day, rushing back and forth to keep a lid on things. Jade almost felt sorry for her. "What's the name for the order? I can run and take a look at how it's coming along."
"Why, that's so kind of you," Jade hummed, adopting her "work tone" again. She had hoped to not have to do that tonight. "The order is under Jade."
"'Jade,' okay... Gimme just a sec!" The phone clacked down against the table. The girl must be too frazzled to know the significance of that name, Jade reasoned.
The girl was gone for what felt like ages, prompting an exhausted sigh from the Stoneheart. She was near starving now, and not in the mood to wait a second longer. It took every ounce of effort she had in her body to not snip when the girl came back.
"Alright, so I have... some news."
"Oh?" News was never good. Not in that tone.
"So we're actually out of salmon? A lot of people have been ordering it here in person and we haven't had the chance to take it off the app?" That questioning lilt in her voice was like nails on a chalkboard. "We do have some other fish, though, so would you be alright with a substitution?"
Jade rolled her eyes. Her face was brutal, but she kept her voice level. "Yes, that's alright. What do you have?"
"Well, we have a nice tuna! That one's been popular too, just not as much as the salmon. It comes with a lemon sauce thing, it's good!" Did she even know what she was talking about?
"Perfect. Send that instead." Jade reached up to rub her forehead only to be met with the face mask from earlier. Ugh, she'd forgotten to take it off and now it was all dry and horrible–
"Great! I'll make sure that gets started for you right away!"
Jade pulled the face mask off in one fell swoop and tossed it aside. "Will there be any sort of discount for that? I've been waiting an awful long time."
"Uh... I can't do that, but I can ask?"
"Mm. Alright. Thank you very much, dear."
"Uh, yeah!" She’s clearly knocked off balance, but Jade couldn't find it in herself to feel even fake concern. "No problem. It'll get to you soon! Have a good rest of your night."
"Good night."
Jade hung up and sank back into her couch, draping herself across it like those ingénues in old movies. She could feel herself wasting away from the hunger.
The worst part was that after another thirty minutes of waiting, the tuna was just fine.
"Can barely even taste the lemon..."

Art Deco was a popular design movement (that still impacts many artists today) that emerged in the late 1920s and 1930s, characterized by its bold geometric shapes, vibrant colours, and lavish ornamentation and accessorising. It blended modern styles with luxury, skilled works of craftsmanship, often using Avant- guard materials like glass, chrome, and marble.
This movement is Influenced by a variety of sources, including Cubism, Futurism (as seen within my project), and ancient Egyptian and Aztec art, Art Deco was seen in architecture, interior design, fashion, jewellery, and visual arts. Iconic examples include New York's Chrysler Building and the design of luxury items like cars and furniture. -I have used The American Radiator Building as my inspiration. - The movement symbolized glamour, progress, and technological optimism for the future.

tagged by @18minutemajor for a hockey art share tag game! I enjoy talking about myself but am terrible at posting so this is perfect. i WILL talk too much, this is a threat.
rules: post your first ever hockey art, your latest hockey art, and your favourite hockey art, then tag three hockey artists.
FIRST ART

I made the Kraken Orb (Korb) at the end of the 22-23 season, as a commemoration, although a sort of ironic one considering i had only gotten into hockey in time for the playoffs so there are a couple players here i actually never got to see play at all before making this (Joonas, Jaycob, Burky, Fleury)
it was a whole lot of fun though! Prior to this i was in a months-long art slump after leaving a fandom, so it was a total surprise to have hockey of all things be what revitalized my art.
technically, the very first hockey art from this was Matty; you can kinda tell by the way his lines are a bit thicker than the rest since i wasn't in my groove yet. i also knew coming in that i wanted to arrange the faces in a circle, but didn't plan out beyond that, so i just made sure that i was getting a variety of head directions in my references and hoped for the best. My favorites from this are Gru, Soucy, Dunn, Schultz, Borgen, and Eeli. I think they all turned out really well.
LATEST ART

MEAT CUT MEAT CUT
this one is fun for me because it's quite different from my usual style of art, with lineart and non-realistic forms/face. I've had the concept in my head for awhile after hearing/reading so many interesting descriptions of the physical qualities that good hockey players possess.
'Sacrifice the Body' actually came in mid-art when i had an epiphany doing something like driving my car or an activity similarly unrelated. Before that, it was going to be a lil heart drawn on the chest and the going contender for the label was 'Ferda.' which would've been great, but sacrifice the body just worked too dang well with the themes.
FAVORITE ART

i mean, c'mon. it's gotta be this one.
my magnum opus, my white whale. it came out even better than i saw it in my head and i love everything about it. when i came up with the idea, i had TOTALLY forgotten that Climate Pledge has those giant windows, so when i set out to find references and saw it, it instantly made everything even better with LIGHTING!!!!
It was my first time drawing this kind of interior architecture and although there's definitely things i would do differently now, im so so proud of how it looks and turned out. I was also still drawing through my decade-old laptop at that point, so I had to split up the work on this into two files - i sketched everything, then worked ONLY on the bg until it was about 90% done, then made a flattened copy to open as a new file to draw the players on top of.
I also have a bunch of WIP shots of it in my drafts I guess I'll throw in here now!

initial sketch to get down the composition before i remembered the window | lines of the building! i actually found a 3d virtual tour of CPA from before it was built which had the PERFECT angle, so i screencapped that and straight up traced the architecture. Ultimately, the scoreboard and the paint lines ended up getting moved around.

planning out my lighting in greyscale (i really need to do this more often, i struggle with values so much, alas) | in progress bg! at this point, the ice and the boards/glass were the only things completed. I eventually said 'fuck it' to being able to see the areas behind the stands like you could in all my references, and just put the people dots all the way up.
Now the most gut-wrenching part
THE TAGS
this is where me being bad at posting comes into play, because instead i just lurk and thats not great for forming connections HERE GOES
@ruinedcasket - it has been awesome seeing your art progress! would love 2 hear your thoughts about it
@rouzys - your kraken stuff is so pretty, love how you capture likenesses
oh god oh fuck everyone else i know has already been tagged fuck oh sshit
If You Are An Artist On Hockey Twit And See This, It Is A Sign
#believe it or not this is actually a sideblog#and i dont do any posting on my main blog either#just reblog memes from sun up to sun down baybeyyy#i am simply not as funny as i think i am and only realize it when i go to post and so i hit delete#but i love babbling i truly do#its why my tag section is always a CVS receipt in length#if you are an artist please i want to see you work#submerge me in art i love 2 see it bless my eyeballs#maybe this rambling im doing rn is because i need to actually eat so im gonna do that#godspeed#rambles#tag game

The Majesty of Sagrada Família 🕊️✨
A visit to Barcelona isn't complete without stepping into the awe-inspiring Sagrada Família. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, this basilica is a masterpiece of architectural brilliance and artistic devotion. Its construction began in 1882, and it's still a work in progress—truly a living piece of history! ⛪ They say that they will finish it by 2026 and it will be the tallest church in the world!
🌟 What to See:
The Facades: Each tells a story. The Nativity facade bursts with detail and life, while the Passion facade exudes solemnity and drama.
The Interior: Step inside, and you'll feel like you're in a forest of light. The towering columns and rainbow-stained glass create a celestial atmosphere. 🌈🌳
The Towers: Climb (or take the lift) for a stunning view of Barcelona and beyond. 🏙️
Tip: Book your tickets in advance and consider a guided tour to uncover the hidden meanings behind Gaudí's designs.
Tip 2: If you visit the towers, remember that the elevator only goes up. Then, depending on the tower, you have to go down 400 - 460 steps.

ok as promised here's the post about botw-adjacent hyrule castle's theorized main entrance
so: as anyone who's explored the castle in breath of the wild or tears of the kingdom knows, there are limited entrances to the interior of the castle. there's the docks, some tunnels, the balcony of the observation room, etc. then there are a couple of side doors, like the ones to the guards' chambers, the library door that leads outside, the door(s) to zelda's room, etc. but like, none of those is a *main entrance*. you'd think it's obvious, duh, it's the door to the sanctum!
but here's the kicker. the sanctum doesn't lead anywhere.
you can't actually get anywhere else from the sanctum. you can get on top of the sanctum, sure, and you can get outside, but it does not connect to any other parts of the castle. There aren't even rubble filled doorways that would indicate that you could! (this is Very Likely so that you wouldn't accidentally end up in the boss fight in botw while exploring the rest of the castle, and like, that makes sense from a dungeon design point of view, but not from a *liveable castle* point of view.) this is ESPECIALLY frustrating because Creating a Champion literally states that Zelda's room is where it is so that she could get to the sanctum in less than 5 minutes without going outside. SHE CAN'T, NINTENDO, BECAUSE YOU REMOVED ALL INNER THE DOORS TO THE SANCTUM!!
so this creates the question: where was the main entrance before calamity then?
well, youtuber banan039 has an answer: under the observation room balcony! genious, i thought, that makes so much sense omg why wasn't that in there in botw. (by the way i'm in love with banan039's pre-calamity mod's progress videos they give me so much strength on my harrowing journey to trying to figure out intact hyrule castle's layout please go watch them and support the creator if you have the means.)
but uh yeah anyway turns out the door isn't there in botw because there's a cliff like right in front of it. well that's inconvenient, i thought, but idk, maybe the calamity caused it and collapsed the door.
NOPE! that door was never in there even pre-calamity in breath of the wild canon!

this screenshot is from the cutscene in champion's ballad where king rhoam appoints the champions. if you look closely, you can see that the area underneath the observation room (right above the castle gates) is the same texture as the cliffs around it, and you can see the bit of grass there, yeah, that would block the front door.
(also, minor spoilers for tears of the kingdom: you couldn't have anything under the observation room anyway because of the royal secret passage.)
and actually then i got to thinking: if the front door was under the observation room, what would be the purpose of the gatehouses??? and, as a friend pointed out, the narrow winding path that would be difficult to climb, heightening the castle's defenses????
so what makes the most sense is that the main entrance would be in the sanctum after all, especially since it was said in creating a champion that it would have had an indoors access to zelda's room. my current working theory is that there was a spiral staircase in one of the corner towers of the sanctum's lowest floor, but i have not yet been able to explore that area in depth enough to confirm that it could have been possible. however, it seems... plausible, likely even if i happen to find a spot with a lot of rubble on the floor, because that could be a staircase hole filled up. it's not the most conventional castle architecture but eh, it makes more sense than the front door being before either of the gatehouses, straight on the line of attack after the castle gate gets broken.
except.
THERE'S A FUCKING FRONT DOOR UNDER THE OBSERVATION ROOM IN AGE OF CALAMITY

(https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Hyrule_Castle?file=Hyrule_Castle.jpg) (and a bunch of aoc cutscenes, though i wasn't able to find the one this screenshot is from.)
sigh.
#the legend of zelda#breath of the wild#tears of the kingdom#tears of the kingdom spoilers#totk spoilers#anyway like botw hyrule castle is a great dungeon design but they clearly left it at that and did not think about the castle's#original purpose i.e. you know a castle#but then in aoc they had to think 'wait a second how is the royal family supposed to use this'#and added a front door lol#BUT IT COMPLETELY DEFEATS THE PURPOSE OF THE GATEHOUSES AND THE REST OF THE INFRASTRUCTURE#i told my spouse about my findings and they went 'the front door is what stopped the calamity'#AND I MEAN-#maybe botw rhoam was so prideful because he thought his house was infallible#but aoc rhoam realized he had a shitty front door and had to accept alternative means of protection if it meant saving his skin#aslgjldjljlskjgl#age of calamity#hyrule warriors age of calamity#hyrule castle

After Nigerian Independence, One Renowned Artist Made Jesus a West African Savior in His Vibrant Work
In the 1960s, a Catholic priest named Father Kevin Carroll approached [Bruce] Onobrakpeya, alongside fellow Nigerian artists, to interpret the Passion of the Christ for local parishioners and Christian converts, highlighted by a series of murals at St. Paul’s Church of Ebute Metta in Lagos.
Instead of reproducing or reappropriating the Western gaze, Onobrakpeya casts Jesus as a West African savior and sets the biblical parables in Nigerian cities, with local architecture and expressive signs of traditional life. In his work, clothing becomes a striking focal point of heritage and agency. As Jesus carries the cross on his relentless trek to Calvary, the women of Jerusalem wear adire, a native brilliantly patterned indigo-dyed fabric; Pontius Pilate appears in royal costume, as a Yoruba or Ghanaian chief in kente cloth; the Nativity shepherds are dressed as members of the Hausa people, an ethnic group in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.
“Certain situations would be completely unknown to us in West Africa,” says Onobrakpeya, a founding member of the Zaria Art Society or the “Zaria Rebels”—a student group in 1958 at the Nigeria College of Arts, Science and Technology famous for blending modernist Western techniques and local art traditions. “For instance, in the interior of the country, you don’t have rivers. You don’t have any water.” An anchor as a biblical metaphor to represent God and faith, he continues, “is difficult for people to understand. So instead of using an anchor, I use a pin that will pin down a tent.”
“The Catholic priests preached goodness. They were agents of development and progress,” he says. “But their mission, apart from teaching, apart from health and so on, was to create a situation whereby the minds of the people were softened to the extent of accommodating all the colonial masters.”

The images above are of Terence Gower’s El Muro Rojo (Barragán), 2005, from the group exhibition Color Effects at Galerie Lelong in NYC last year.
From the artist’s website about the work-
A large black and white photograph of the roof patio of the Casa Barragán is mounted on an enormous red wall. The photograph is a copy of Armando Salas Portugal’s famous 1953 photograph (this time commissioned from architectural photographer Jorge del Olmo), and shows a corner of Luis Barragán’s roof patio with its famous coloured walls reduced to grey tones. The work separates a tonal and planar understanding of the architecture from the “emotional” encounter with colour that Barragán aspired to.
From his statement about his practice-
I work on a number of bodies of work at once, each developed over several years. In the past decade my work has focused on a critical re-reading of the modern movement and its utopian bent. A desire to reexamine the notion of progress—a term corrupted by the excesses of technological modernism—has fueled my research on the post-war period and has led to a search for models from the past that might still be relevant today.
Below is the Armando Salas Portugal color photo referenced by the Gower work.

Armando Salas Portugal, “Barragán House”, Mexico City, 1948. View of the roof terrace in the late 1960s. Image via Barragan Foundation
Armando Salas Portugal is known for his photographs of the Mexican countryside and the architecture of the city. He captured the work of several famous architects, in addition to Luis Barragán’s projects.
From Wikipedia about the influence of modernism on Barragán and his concept of “emotional architecture“-
Barragán visited Le Corbusier and became influenced by European modernism. The buildings he produced in the years after his return to Mexico show the typical clean lines of the Modernist movement. Nonetheless, according to Andrés Casillas (who worked with Barragán), he eventually became entirely convinced that the house should not be “a machine for living.” Opposed to functionalism, Barragán strove for an “emotional architecture” claiming that “any work of architecture which does not express serenity is a mistake.” Barragán used raw materials such as stone or wood. He combined them with an original and dramatic use of light, both natural and artificial; his preference for hidden light sources gives his interiors a particularly subtle and lyrical atmosphere.

Half of my sleep felt more like half awake tv static than blank screen [as it should be] last night. So brain=hemorrhaging braincells this eve. ('>v<) Anywho, wasn't a busy day at work today and I managed to get some good progress on the things today. Which among the things is today's blurb! Which came out pretty well, if I do say so myself. And I do say so! (>v<) [y'see that? there it goes... my last braincell lol]

Holdouts
Rarely scattered across the Undercity. They are usually single or two story brick buildings that were once homes or businesses before the Great Collapse. Now they exist as relics of the past buried under the unregulated construction of the Undercity. Usually found in back alleys as oddities and landmarks. Some of them still have windows, although whether or not they were shattered varies.
Undercity Prefab Apartments
There are two primary types of prefabricated apartments in the Undercity. The first takes it's metabolist inspiration to the greatest extreme with modular capsule rooms. Each capsule is a simple empty box roughly 8ft by 12ft in size. These are the most common, being brought in with aircranes and installed onto, well basically anywhere that it won't immediately collapse. While they all have the same basic set up, the use of space varies greatly between occupants. The second type is somewhat larger with two rooms, a mixed living area and a private bathroom. These are manufactured in several parts that can easily be transported either by a aircrane or truck to site before being assembled on location. The basic interiors are more diverse with optional bed inlets and built in vending machines among other things. They also have a few different layouts that honestly just shifts where the bathroom divides the other spaces. While water isn't necessarily a rarity, decent working plumbing often is. As such about half of these apartment bathrooms in service work more as storage closets than anything else. Due to the chaotic nature of the Undercity it isn't uncommon for walls to be cut open across several apartments to better serve the needs of small local businesses, bunkhouses, or anything else people decide to build. Also it isn't uncommon for completely random structures to be made between prefabricated buildings out of whatever scrap happens to be available. Random pipes and cables running along the walls or roofs of hallways leading towards more in-structure apartments is normal. Rooms along alleys or streets usually get their utilities directly through the wall.
Midcity Apartments
Like the Undercity most of the Midcity's apartments, at least above the first few stories, are prefabricated. However, in the Midcity they usually are larger and have a more comfortable living spaces and at least one distinct bedroom. Typically the basic utilities are better maintained allowing more access to operational bathrooms, kitchens, and stationary entertainment such as televisions. Apartments in the Midcity are often built atop old retrofitted buildings that are mostly street level shops, restaurants, or other businesses.
Uppercity Luxury Apartments
The luxury apartments of the Uppercity is about what one would expect. Spacious interiors high above the rest of the city with staff or security at the simple press of a button. Usually there is one wall that has a dedicated wide screen that can simulate a curated view of the city, nature environments, or even play video media within smaller windows. Unlike nearly anywhere else in the city apartments in the Uppercity have real wooden floors. It also isn't rare for there to be a potted plant or small garden in the apartment to truly express the tenant's wealth. Amenities such as a spa, pool, and gym are usually only a brief elevator ride away. While some are equipped with kitchens for those who prefer to cook for themselves or have a personal chef, most apartments are simply equipped with an advanced vending machine that can be programmed to prepare most meals. Beyond that the only limits is the tenant's desires and space available. The result is often limited to clean modern looking spaces, however the more eccentric individuals tend to have truly unique homes. Somewhat ironically the exteriors of the majority of these buildings contrast greatly with the interiors as they often appear as little more than massive minimally featured blocks. That is aside from prime street level viewing space of these skyscrapers which are of course covered with the colorful glowing lights of advertising and art.
[Technically there is also nomad buildings, but basically just glorified rvs made literal "mobile" homes. Which may end up time’s blurb if I don’t think of anything else... Also junkyards architecture which is, well, basically garbage slapped together into shacks. ('^.^) So, uh... Anyways and always, hope that you had a lovely day, peace (ZvZ)v]
