Both Maria and Sonic look at these scruffy little fellas and go "yeah that looks brother-shaped." I love that for them.

This isn't the first time I've talked about this, but the parallels between the ARK siblings and unbreakable bond is something that bounces around in my brain like the DVD logo on caffiene - even more now with the third movie.

There's the obvious - that they both initially bond through dancing - which makes me cry.

BUT ALSO

Shadow and Tails: Oh... People are saying I'm a freak. That must mean it's true.

Maria and Sonic: NO. DISTRACTION!!!

This is I think one of the more underrated panels with them, but it's one of my favourites. The domesticity, how comfortable and intimate they are with each other, how they talk about their plans for the day, all the touches between them, their kiss, their goodbye... One could tell me they are a married couple and I'd absolutely believe it because they act exactly like one 🥹💞

Imagine being Alfred, and forcing your emo son to go out and be around people. It's good for his mental health. He doesn't even need to talk to anyone! See, there's a circus in town, what about going to the circus? You don't have to talk to anyone, just enjoy the show.

i don't want to sound offensive but maybe it isn't right to make private parts of his live public in online spaces he (most likely) doesn't have access to and can't control. his life is already under a microscope of his audience and this is one of the sides he doesn't share with the public. good for you for meeting him of course and i understand your excitement but this is the case where i personally think boundaries should be respected. it's not great where you go somewhere you don't want/expect to be recognized by anybody and someone posts about you for a huge community that knows your online persona. this gives paparazzi vibes.

i mean i definitely do understand this and thats exactly why i havent really gone into details, at least i dont think i have, the only thing ive really mentioned is that he goes to a badminton club - something that was actually apparently already somewhat public knowledge - and that he's chill, most of the stuff ive really talked about or meme'd about is about my reaction to that fact and im super conscious of the fact that this could be too much very quickly which is why i havent really responded to any very personal questions about it as i have had some people ask stuff like that. at the end of the day i feel i havent done too much right now as all ive basically done is say "i go to badminton with him and hes a chill guy" and then just meme'd about that quite a bit.

as excited and cool as i am about this, i definitely dont plan to give everyone here Constant Updates on him and his life, other than maybe expressing excitement about him being there or maybe if he says something funny to me but thats it really. i dont think thats any different than other random fan encounters when they meet cc's in random places aswell. and i definitely don't plan on doxxing him or myself lol

so i definitely do understand your concerns and trust me im well aware of that fact, however i do think i havent done anything that crosses a boundary at this point and i dont plan on crossing any

if you disagree feel free to say so as i am open to criticism but as far as im aware in my opinion we're all just having some lighthearted fun making fun of the fact that the odds of me meeting grian at a badminton club was basically 0.0000001% and now i have to be Super Casual about the fact i'll be seeing him around so i do hope that clears things up?
