INTERVIEWER WALLY! (It's just Wally but as an interviewer!)

So so sorry about being dead for so long!! Was so busy with life :"( But no worries! I have given you a new AU to have fun with! and a little fun fact: the other characters from WH will also be in this AU! They aren't an interviewer like Wally but I'll tell you the rest more in the future! (If I'm not so busy :'D) Of course, I will draw silly sketches of him and post them here! But anyways, I hope you like him!!

FUN FACTS ABOUT INTERVIEWER WALLY:

He's still silly and short like Wally!.

Really loves apples.

He always has a spare microphone in his pocket just in case he wants to interview someone.

Has his own talk show! (Which is Home)

Loves hearing facts about the people he interviews

Would ask the most simplest things in his talk show (Examples are: What's your favorite color? Do you like apples? And a lot more silly questions!)

Would love gifts that are shaped like apples!

Would do art in his spare time.

Loves his friends dearly! (Including YOU!!)

As much as I love Hal and Guy and John, sometimes I wonder what Green Lantern comics would've looked like if they never came back to their old roles. Like if instead of Geoff Johns's epic saga that begins with Hal's return, Kyle was allowed by editorial to succeed at restarting the Green Lantern Corps and became the leader of a new generation of GLs?

I think that would've been the natural progression of Kyle's character. For years he was called the last of the Green Lanterns and he carried that weight like Atlas holding up the sky. He tried so many times to rebuild the Corps that he'd only ever heard about from others, and so many times failed because he trusted the wrong people.

But what if instead, Kyle's faith in others was rewarded? What if his search for worthy ringbearers led him to the unlikeliest of candidates? A car thief suspected of terrorism, and a hermit too terrified to leave her apartment? The Guardians of old would have looked at Simon Baz and Jessica Cruz and found them utterly unfit to wear the ring. Many of the Justice League probably would too.

But Kyle Rayner was chosen by sheer, desperate chance in a dirty alleyway. He remembers the toll that unyielding demand for perfection took on his predecessors, how it broke Hal Jordan in the end. He remembers how he was just given the ring with no explanation or training or support and how that cost Alex her life. So Kyle chooses to help.

He helps Simon track down the real culprit behind the bomb. He helps Jessica find the men who murdered her friends. He teaches them that there is no shame or disgrace in fear, so long as they overcome it. And for once, Kyle Rayner's trust and optimism wins out.

The Green Lantern Corps is reborn. There may be only three of them now, but it's more than Kyle ever had before. He takes his partners (for all that he taught them everything they know, he considers them his equals) to the Watchtower. He introduces them to the Justice League, and then breaks the news that the two new Lanterns will replace him when he ventures out to the stars to continue recruiting.

But before Kyle leaves, there is one last thing to do. He brings Simon and Jessica to the Warriors bar in New York to meet their elders. John, Guy, and Alan already know of the new recruits, having heard through the grapevine (Oracle puts out very fast newsletters), but it's another thing entirely to see with their own eyes the small spark that Kyle had carried alone finally growing into a fierce blaze.

And unseen by all of them, Hal Jordan watches as the family he nearly destroyed begins to rise from the ashes. The Spectre feels a little more at peace because he knows that Kyle Rayner is not the last of the old Green Lanterns. Instead, he is the first of the new.

Mr. Dear: Now Miss Darling, We have some Questions from our audience all the way back from Playfellow's Workshop! Ain't that Peachy Keen? But so far we only have one. Our very first question!

Sophie: Oh! That's… interesting? I… didn't know that others are watching right now-

Mr. Dear: They ain't watch’in now, Darling! Don't worry about that! These interviews are being recorded. So when Playfellow's Workshop shows up here in about a few months, then the audience will see these!

Sophie: but- wait! Why are they… why am I so important-

Mr. Dear: Our first question comes from a neighbor named Miss. Artemus-13, now Miss. Artemus asks: “What's your favorite meal?” Oh and she sends you a hug too! Ain't that sweeter than honey from a beehive! [Mr. Dear chuckles as he looks up from his paper and at Sophie] A penny for your thoughts, Miss Darling?

Sophie: [she paused for a sec.] W-well, me and my Pappa, we always get hotdogs and I love putting peanut butter and sunflower seeds on my mine! But I do love eating my grandma’s cooking! She makes an amazing pumpkin beef pie! Oh how I miss her cooking! And thank you so much, Miss Artemus! I really appreciate the hug! I really do need it...

Mr. Dear: Oh how precious, Darling! You must have a loving family- Hey… what's troubling you, S-sophie?

Sophie: I miss my family. I really do! I just want to see them again, but I know that no one can leave here. Is it ok if I can still write to them? At least?

Mr. Dear: oh… I understand, S-sophie I get you! We all miss our families, but when Playfellow's Workshop gets here and settles everything, we can see our family's again! But… maybe I can help you write a letter to them, inviting them to come live here, so you can see them every day!

Sophie: R-really? You mean it, Mr. Dear?

Mr Dear: ya darn right, Soph- [Mr. Dear stops and corrects himself] I mean… Miss Darling!

Sophie: It's ok, you can call me Sophie! That is my name, after all!

Mr. Dear: [pauses for a few moments] Miss Darling how do you feel now after that question?

Sophie: Oh I feel just Wonderful! But I have so many questions! But there's one I've been meaning to ask though.

Mr. Dear: what is it, Darling?

Sophie: How do we get out of here?

Wally loves his neighborhood. He loves his friends. But when it comes to you, he can't decide how he feels. Romance is a completely foreign concept to him, and he can't fathom you as anything but his dearest friend. Yet, part of him insists there's something more than just platonic feelings for you.
