Happy Tuesday friends!! While I could read or listen to ACOTAR/ACOMAF forever I wasn’t the biggest fan of ACOWAR. But this series....wow I could listen to (and or read) The Bridge Kingdom/The Traitor Queen FOREVER!! It has everything I could want from sexy romance scenes to action packed fighting scenes to betrayals that have you screaming NO!! Plus the books themselves are GORGEOUS!! I absolutely love this Baecrate edition and cannot wait for my Baecrate edition of The Traitor Queen this fall!! I hope everyone’s start to the week is going well!! Unpopular opinion time but this book seriously let me down. The first book was good, the second book was incredible and the third book left me saying seriously...wtf? I really fell in love with Jude during the second book with all her plotting and spying she was such an amazing character!! I think the third book has a lot of potential but my favorite parts of Jude (the spying and plotting parts) just weren’t there. I hope you all don’t hate me for this 😬. Happy Saturday friends!! One more night of work and then I’m off for two day! I have some more fun photos and even a cosplay or two planned!! Hopefully the weather cooperates and I get some good sunshine!! There are not a ton of stand alone books in the YA world but the ones we do have are incredible!! While Nasir technically isn’t the villain of this story (although if you asked him he’d probably say he is) he still is a morally grey character who I cannot help but love!! Give me a bad boy who deep down wants to be good and I am hooked!! Nasir is the perfect example and I could not help but fall in love with him while reading this incredible book!! If you haven’t read We Hunt the Flame yet I can not recommend it enough!! The world building is INCREDIBLE and the storyline had me blindsided until the very end!! Happy Friday friends!! I am SO EXCITED because I get to show you this absolutely stunning cover for the third book in @danielleljensen Dark Shores series!! I absolutely loved the first two books which were told during the same time but from different points of view!! Dark Shores is from Teriana’s and Marcus’s POVs and then Dark Skies is told from Lydia’s and Killian’s POVs. You all know how much I absolutely LOVE multiple POVs and these two books deliver an incredible story because of it!! I can not recommend both of these books enough and am beyond excited for Gilded Serpent!!!
