Oops - Daesung/D-Lite
Pairing: Daesung x fem!Reader Summary: you mistake him for your best friend whom you haven't seen in a long time
A/N: part of my 1.7k followers celebration, I present to you my first daesung fic!! <3 hope u guys like it
It was a fine day and you decided to get out of your house to bask in the perfect weather. You lived alone and it was starting to feel lonely. You had just moved to Seoul, leaving all your friends and family behind. That's why it surprised you when you saw one of your childhood friends, Kim Chang-Ho, walking out of a restaurant with three other guys whom you haven't seen before.
Excited, you decided to surprise him by hopping on his back and wrapping your arms around his neck, "Chang-Ho, I didn't expect to see you here! Oh my gosh! Why didn't you tell me you were in Seoul? When did you get here?? Who are your friends?"
You ruffled his hair and hugged him tightly... maybe you hugged him a little too tight because he started choking and tapping your arms to let go. His friends, who you didn't know, started snickering at the sight. The tall one, started covering his mouth to keep himself from laughing so loud. The one with colored hair started filming and zooming in on your friend's face and the one with a cap and glasses started chuckling.
You immediately let go and he turns around, "Do I know you?"
At that moment, you wanted the ground to swallow you whole. You were extremely embarrassed. You didn't know what to do. Your face turned red and you explained, "I'm so sorry! I thought you were my best friend."
The three guys behind him started laughing really hard which made you feel even more embarrassed, but you knew you'd laugh too if you were in their place.
The man chuckled, "It's okay. I probably look like him from behind. Sorry to disappoint. I'll just introduce myself. I'm Daesung and these are my friends: Seunghyun, Jiyong, and Youngbae."
You gave them a wave and a shy smile as they waved back. "I'm Y/N."
"Nice to properly meet you, Y/N. I hope you find your friend for real." Jiyong laughed.
"Aish, she's already embarrassed enough." Daesung waved him off. "Sorry about him."
"It's okay." You smiled. "It is kind of funny. Well, you guys have probably somewhere to be, so I'll get going now. Sorry again."
You quickly walked away and all four of them watched.
"Dae, I know you like her." Youngbae teased. "Go after her and ask for her number!"
Daesung shook his head in shame, "She probably likes one of you guys. A pretty girl like her would never go for a guy like me."
"You're a total catch!" Jiyong exclaimed. He glanced at Seunghyun who was busy minding his own business, playing some idle amusement park game on his phone, and nudged him. Seunghyun glanced at Jiyong and before looking at Daesung, "Yeah, man. If I were a girl, I'd date you. I'd date you so hard, we'll have 10 kids."
Youngbae smiled, "See? Just run after her and get her number. She'll say yes."
"Really?" He asked with newfound hope.
"Really." Seunghyun assured. "She'd be dumb not to date you. You're the most caring one and you're a gentleman."
With enough courage, he ran after you. He tapped your shoulder and you turned around only to see him again.
"Listen, I'd die if I don't get to see you again and I'm willing to move past this embarrassing encounter, if you are. May I get your number?" Daesung asked.
You gave him a shy smile and said, "You still want to see me after that whole thing?"
"Well, yeah. You're very pretty and I want to get to know you better." He said, his cheeks flushing a nice shade of pink.
You pretended to think, "Hm... alright!"
You exchanged phones and saved each other's numbers. You got your phones back and he smiled, "I'll text you, pretty girl."
"I'll be waiting, handsome." You winked before walking away.

Introductions(Chapter 5)
Y/N's POV
1.1k words
I set my things down in my new room. Goddamn, compared to my old room, this is huge! "Y/N, hurryyyyy" Yuna whined outside the door, rushing to show me around the dorm
"Calm Down Yuna, I'll be out in abit alright."
"So, this is the Kitchen, it's kinda small so normally we only have 3 people in there at once. My room is the furthest to the right(3L-10). Lia Unnie stays with Chaeryoung in the room next to mine(3L-09), and finally, Yeji Unnie stays with Ryujin Unnie in the room next to yours(3L-06). " (For reference)

"As I'm sure you noticed, your room has a tv screen with all our names on it. That screen is connected to our room. We all have a help button, which will make our name flash on your screen. Get to us as soon as you can, Ryujin Unnie can be impatient sometimes so please do be fast. It will be synced to a phone that we will pass to you soon, so you don't always have to be in your room. Got it so far?" Yuna said teasingly "Yep, I'm not that slow you know" I smirked "That sounds unlikely." She said, sticking her tongue out "Now, to properly introduce you to the girls."
The four other girls were sitting in the living room as Yuna pulled me there, nudging me to introduce myself. "Oh, erm, annyeonghaseyo, My name is Y/N, I'll be your personal assistants, and I hope to take good care of you all." The girls then looked at me, before introducing themselves. "Hi, my name is Julia, but people just call me Lia. I'm Itzy's main vocalist and the princess of the group." Lia said with a smile on her face "I'm Yeji, I'm the leader of the group and the main dancer." Yeji said, looking at me with a small smile "Ryujin." She didnt like me. "I'm Chaeryoung, erm, I'm Itzy's main dancer too, and I love chocolate." She said with a subtle blush on her face "And I'm Yu-" "I already know you Yuna, it's fine." Yuna crossed her arms and pouted, poking me in the cheek, saying, "You're mean." Yeji then stood up and said, "That will be all for now Y/N. You may do what you wish now, but please do take note of the alerts when one of us needs you." "Understood, thank you."
As I entered my room, I crashed onto my bed, as I indulged in the comforts of my new bed. Just as I was about to drift off a little, I heard a chime from my TV screen. Ryujin: Meet me at the balcony now.
I hurried to the balcony, to see two cold eyes staring at me, holding a small box in her hand.
"Yeji Unnie told me to pass this to you, it has a phone for you, and there's an app in there with our schedules so you can keep updated."
"Oh, thank you Ryujin. Will that be all?"
"Listen, Y/N, in case I have not made it clear, I do not like you. I do not know you, I do not trust you, and I certainly do not trust you around my girls. I'll be keeping my eye on you. JYP-nim trusted you, and Yuna seems to really trust you, so I will give you a chance. But try anything funny, take something that isn't yours, hurt any of my groupmates, physically or emotionally, I will break you." She said, shooting me an icy glare that chilled me to my core. "Listen, Ryujin, I understand. I'm a stranger that normally you wouldn't even notice on the street, but now that same stranger is living in your dorm in close quarters with both you and people that you care about. If I were in your shoes, I'd do the same, maybe even something more drastic to be perfectly honest, trust issues are a bitch. But I appreciate the chance, and I will not let you down. If it's at all possible, would you be okay if we had a chat? I'm sure if you got to know me, you'd trust me a little more." I said, trying my best to endear myself to her
She stared into my eyes, as if to gauge my sincerity, before nodding, as we both took a seat at the balcony.
"Anything you want to know about me?" "How did you and Yuna meet?" I then detailed how Yuna and I met, how we bumped into each other and how she saved my life Then, for the first time, I saw Ryujin crack a small smile. "Aish, that Yuna, so clumsy." "Is that a smile I see?" I teased as her face went back to her relatively stoic look "You're still under probation man, don't try your luck." "Copy that Ma'am" I said, playfully saluting at her, eliciting a small smile from her once again "Well, now that you answered my question, anything you want to know?" "Hmm, maybe something to do with all the members of your group? I'm still getting to know you guys so any information would help." "Ahh, well, all of us actually have another name in a sense. My English Name is Joanne, Yeji-Unnie's is Lucy, Yuna's is Hussey, Li-" Hearing that, I let out a chuckle. "Hussey?" "Weird name, I know, she got it from Olivia Hussey." We were just about to continue with the conversation when my new phone buzzed, and I saw Yeji's name show up. Yeji:Meet me at the Kitchen I lifted my phone up and showed it to Ryujin, "Sorry, can we continue this conversation another time? Duty calls." Ryujin nodded, as I hurried away.
3rd person's POV
Once Y/N was out of sight, Ryujin allowed herself a little smile, before shaking her head. This could be an act. She wouldn't let it happen...again
Y/N's POV(again)
I went to the kitchen to see Yeji, with a, not so good looking kitchen. We both stared at each other wordlessly, but she spoke first, breaking the tension "Soooo, I'm not sure if you can tell, but cooking isn't especially my strong suit... I was kinda hoping to make you and the girls a meal to welcome you, but, yeh it didn't go too well." I chuckled at her, then I saw her face drop a little. "Oh, please, don't be sad Yeji, I'm not laughing at you, I just find it really nice that you would do that for someone who works for you, and dont worry, I can finish up the cooking for you. I can even teach you some new dishes another day too. I guarantee you'll pick it up quick, and the girls will love it too." Hearing that, Yeji perked up, "For real? That would be great!" "No worries, go take a rest alright? I'll call you guys out once I'm done." Yeji smiled at me, before bowing and heading to her room Now, step one, Damage control

member: seungmin wc: 1.2k genre: fluff, mystery, detective au (he is psychometric-inspired), psychometric reader warning: mentions of violence & murder note: i finally finished this kdrama the other other day! my babies yeeun, jinyoung, and dasom aaaah
“Again?”
On the other side of the open doorway, Seungmin sighs sheepishly and adjusts his black cap over his freshly dyed hair. “Not like I have a choice, do I? It’s not like crimes have schedules around here.” He meets your eyes after casting them downwards the entire time, holding up and shaking the three ziplock bags and paperclips of photos in his hands in front of you. “Can I come in?”
You heave a sigh back in defeat, stepping to the side, “Yup, come in.”
The young detective obliges and steps inside your apartment, courteously waiting on you to close the door behind you before following you into your living room. Sitting down on the sofa with you, he then carefully lays out the evidences he’s brought over your unused table runner.
“What am I looking at this time?” You ask curiously as you eye the black button, silver necklace, and diamond ring Seungmin has brought for you today, grabbing one surgical glove from your box of supplies on the coffee table.
Seungmin holds up the photos in between the two of you in response, obstructing your view of the objects. You’re then met with photos of a woman in her late 40s to early 50s, two blows to each side of her head that spills blood all over her disjointed body and red marks that trail from her neck to her chest. “This is Mrs. Young, 54 years old.” He introduces the corpse to you before laying the photo above your evidence. “Cause of death, obviously, the two blows on the head and asphyxiation but I’m yet to confirm this with forensics since Jeongin ditched me to go to the arcade with his significant other.”
“Oh,” You muse as you stifle a laugh, earning you a pointed look from Seungmin. “Sorry, Jeongin shouldn’t have done that.”
“Anyway,” Seungmin brushes off, holding more photos of the crime scene for you before laying them out with Mrs. Young’s photo on the table. “Here are photos from the crime scene and photos of our current suspects—I can take you to the crime scene if you want but only this Friday afternoon.”
“And the suspects?”
“Husband, adult son, neighbours.” Seungmin points out the people to you as he mentions them. “The usual.”
“So what’s different this time?” You point out, picking up the button now with your gloved hand and examining it. You make sure to avoid coming in contact with it using your bare hand at that moment in order to allow Seungmin to explain.
Next to you, Seungmin sinks against the cushion of your sofa and releases another sigh, albeit this time one that’s of frustration. “All the suspects kept insisting that they’re the sole murderer.”
You quirk an eyebrow. “Huh? Strange.” You then hold the button higher up to your eyes, glancing over to Seungmin with a glint of challenge in your eyes, “So if I’m assuming correctly, why did you bring me the victim’s belongings instead of the suspects’?”
“It won’t be discreet bringing you any articles of the suspects’ clothing from the night of the murder.” He answers matter-of-factly. “So I thought, when I picked up that button from the floor, I’d bring you Mrs. Young’s belongings instead: the button that fell of when her coat was ripped away from her, the necklace partially used to choke her, and the ring on her hand when she tried fighting her assailant.”
You hum in satisfaction, “Finally, you’re improving, detective.”
Seungmin scoffs, “So mean. Just help me out here, Y/N.”
You spare another glance in his direction and chuckle before bringing your bare hand up to the button, reading it off of the memories it has.
In your vision, you see a figure with his face fully covered with a mask and a cap, towering over what you can only assume as Mrs. Young whose perspective you’ve entered as he uses his strength to rip off the coat she wears. “Black mask, red cap, and no identifying feature, really.” You conclude as you come back to reality, placing the button back on the table. “The assailant’s wearing all-black clothes and sunglasses, too. Looks built and almost a head taller than Mrs. Young.”
Seungmin hums in acknowledgement, his elbow propped up on his knee as he cradles his cheek on his palm and thinks carefully, “Too vague. Try the ring.”
You pick up the ring next, this time entering a vision of Mrs. Young successfully grabbing hold of her assailant in a way that exposes the person’s arm over their black long sleeves. “There!” You exclaim, still in half a daze. “That’s a—I see a snake tattoo.”
“Snake tattoo?” Seungmin repeats, his voice faint in your ears as you’re still watching the vision unfold in front of your eyes.
Your head unconsciously jerks back as you watch more of the vision from the diamond ring, watching Mrs. Young claw on her assailant’s arm and chest with her bright red nail polish until you see another faint object from the corner of your vision. “There’s a black band on one of his fingers, too, but it doesn’t seem to be a ring originally.”
“Snake tattoo and a black band, what else?”
But as he asks this, you’re pulled back to reality and you’re shaking your head in response. “That seems to be it, nothing else that’s significant.” You then return the ring back on the table. “The necklace doesn’t seem to be much help now because it looks like that was removed after Mrs. Young tried attacking her assailant.”
“I don’t recall any of the suspects having a tattoo on their arms or a black band.” Seungmin comments, briefly removing his cap and ruffling his hair in frustration. “Are you 100% positive?”
”You always come to me then doubt my abilities, huh?” You sigh before nodding. “But yeah, it doesn’t look fresh or drawn on, either so you can rule out framing or tricks on my vision. The tattoo seems old and the design’s quite distinct, not the usual designs you get quickly from parlors.”
He heaves in a frustrated sigh as well, hunching over even more next to you. “I’m sorry, it’s just—this case is getting to my head a lot more than usual! Even in hindsight, nothing’s making sense and for some reason, everyone wants to be held accountable for it. I—“
You send him a sympathetic look that seems to fly over him as he fusses about this new case of his, returning the evidences back in their respective ziplock bags for him out of pity. When he looks back at you and apologizes for his sudden outburst after a moment, you shake your head and pat his shoulder with your bare hand comfortingly, “It’s okay but don’t fuss too much, you can solve this one—like you always do.” You then gesture over to the items on your table. “Besides, my vision’s just one part—and though having to defend using it at court later is also another part, you still have your wit and your other friends. Just be a little patient and take it slow, Seungmin.”
He smiles back at you gratefully, sitting up properly. “T-Thanks.”
Your hand accidentally falls down to his elbow as he sits up, a brief vision of him practicing words in front of a mirror flashing before you.
“Y/N, hi, so, uh, after this, do you want to get coffee?” Seungmin from this morning rehearses such words in front of his vanity mirror before he groans in embarrassment. “Ah, who even wants to get coffee after seeing a corpse? Aish, Kim Seungmin!”
Next to you, present Seungmin’s eyes widen at this accidental gesture and you immediately retract your hand back. “W-What?” He asks, careful of his words.
“Hm?” Your eyes and ears perk up, cheeks heating up in embarrassment as you hold your hand to your chest. “Nothing.”
“O-oh, okay...” He trails off with an equally awkward cough. “Sorry.”
You clear your throat awkwardly as well, shuffling around your seat before picking up the photos and ziplocks on the table and handing it back to him. “So, um, do you have anything else for me today—like coffee?”
“What?!” Seungmin’s eyes widen, slowly turning to you in surprise.
“Nothing, nothing.” You wave your hand in front of him dismissively, heat rising up to your neck before a thought crosses your mind and you’re suddenly blurting out next, “Do you have to be somewhere after this? Do you want coffee, I said.”

Can You Parallel Park?
Pairings: jhs x reader , with appearance from OT7
Word count: 3.5k
Genre: fluff
Summary: parallel parking is stressful. Especially when you have an audience. Especially when your audience is the fray boys of BTS House.
Warnings: none, a few swear words
A/N: my first ever fic! I’ve been holding back publishing this because I’m shy ☺️ but if I don’t start now then when will I?? Please give it a read and leave comments and feedback. I’d really love to write more, and your feedback will help me improve and find my writing rhythm! (Also, I suck at titles)
————————— 💜 ——————————
Finally a parking spot. But it’s a parallel park. And it’s in front of a frat house. That happens to be BTS- the loudest, craziest, most good looking and most notorious on campus.
Now, you’re a master in parallel parking. But that’s when you drive on the LEFT side of the road. Your brain just can’t function now that you have to do it with the steering wheel on the opposite side of what you’re used to.
You pull up, aligning the car properly and start reversing, turning the wheel at the right time to ensure your car would slide into the spot, easily and quickly. But wait, the side of your car looks so dangerously close to the car in front. One slight move you’re sure to scrape it.
So you pull up again. Repeat the process. And repeat. And repeat.
Your cheeks start to heat as you notice there are 2 guys now sitting at the patio, and- you’re very sure of this- watching your sixth attempt to parallel park in front of their house. Then another guy comes out. And another.
So now you’re nowhere near to parking your car and you have an audience. Great.
All right Y/N, you can do this. You parallel park every day back home on busy 2-lane roads, with lines of cars honking at you. This is peanuts.
Seventh attempt. Eighth. And you finally did it at the ninth. Are those guys laughing at you?!
Embarrassed, you grab your bag, get out of the car, lock it, all the while looking at everywhere but the frat house. You can swear you hear clapping as you cross the road.
—
“Hey Y/N, did you park in front of BTS today?” Jungkook asks at dinner in the dining hall.
You give him a death stare. “How did you know?”
“Saw your car when I went there after practice. And some of the guys were talking about this girl who was having a hard time parking in front of the house.”
“I can’t believe I contributed to women driver stereotype.” You scoop your mac and cheese angrily.
‘Well they describe you as cute” you glare at Jungkook, but he only continues. “There’s a party there tonight. I’m going. You’re coming too, ok.”
—
You’re not sure how Jungkook managed to persuade you to come to the party. You have declared house of BTS as your sworn enemy, yet you wonder which of the guys had described you cute. I’ll show you cute, you mutter under your breath as you follow Jungkook into the house.
The music is loud, you can smell booze in the air, and there is just way too much shouting. The girls are shrieking over someone doing a keg stand, the guys are yelling Chug! chug! as if it’s a mating call, and you remember why you hate frat parties.
“Jungkook!!” A pink haired guy and a blue haired guy swoop down on you and your friend, and you immediately get lost in their eyes. The three of them hug, and Jungkook introduces you to these two ethereal beings. You divert your eyes shyly, their eyes are too much, you feel yourself unravelling when they stare at you like this. Then it’s off to the drinks tables, and you settle for a cola. You learn that Jimin and Taehyung are fellow pledgers, like Jungkook, and you really wonder what it is in the BTS house that just draws in the hottest guys on campus.
Jungkook and his two handsome friends are chatting away while you nurse your cola. You’re too shy in social settings like this, and you find it hard to talk to people. Jungkook is being pulled somewhere, and he pulls you along, knowing your shyness, but soon you lose him among the bumping bodies.
So now you’re alone, standing by the kitchen and starting to blend into the walls. You’re deliberating if you should go home, when a very handsome guy approaches you.
“Hey, you ok?” He asks. You stare at him. His face is so symmetrical. Is it even physically possible? He eyes you with concern, so you quickly nod.
“I’m Jin,” he introduces himself. “If you don’t feel so good, just go to the patio, ok? My boys here are good but there’s just way too many people now.” He’s practically shouting over the music. “Some of the seniors are outside and they’re not drinking so they can help you if anything happens, ok?”
You nod again. He grabs your cup of cola and sniff it. “You sure you’re ok? You’re not drinking but you’re looking a bit weird it’s worrying me.”
You gulp. “I’m ok,” you shout back. “I’m just an introvert trapped in my worst nightmare.”
Jin laughs and you swear your car wipers make the same sound. “Ok. So you’re sober enough to help me find my food. Come.”
You let Jin usher you to the kitchen. Jin asks for your name, your major, the standard senior to sophomore questions. Once you step into the kitchen, however, you’re greeted with a loud crash.
“Goddamnit Namjoon!” Jin bellows. You turn your eyes towards who you think is Namjoon, yet another handsome frat boy- what’s with this house seriously?- standing wide eyed over a cabinet that has crashed down... from the wall?
“It just fell,Hyung! I swear!!” He’s as shocked as Jin and you, your three serious faces stand out among a sea of drunken laughter.
“Well lucky it’s just a bunch of chips and cereals.” Jin mumbles as he moves to grab a black garbage bag. You help Jin hold the bag open as he and Namjoon start collecting the debris.
“I swear Hyung, I was just getting some chips and the whole thing just came down.” Namjoon picks some wooden pieces and throws them into the bag. Noticing you, he says, “Just hold the bag open ok, don’t touch any of these. You could get a splinter.”
You can’t help but feeling a little touched at his concern. “It’s ok. Though I think you’re better off taking all these straight to the bin outside.”
Jin grumbles. “You know, I just want a small dinner party with our friends. How did it get blown out of proportion like this. I even cooked! And I don’t even know where my food is.”
“Do you even want to know where your food is?” You say dryly. “Best scenario someone’s eaten if. Worst scenario someone’s having sex on top of it.”
“Aish. When did our house become such a party house?” Jin complains.
You look at the girls hovering in the kitchen. Cleavage, mini skirt and high heels. Eyes on Jin and Namjoon, begging for a glance. Fake laughs and shrills to get their attention.
“You guys are just too good looking. It’s ridiculous how good looking you and your brothers are.” You observe.
You’re treated to Namjoon’s adorable dimples as he laughs, and Jin’s “Yaaaaah, it’s about time you say something about this face.”
“She’s right,” Namjoon picks up more small pieces of wood. “We need to rebrand, Hyung. We’re supposed to be an academic fraternity, but people only know us as party animals.”
The three of you take evidence of Namjoon’s destruction to bin in the yard. You’re grateful for the fresh air, and the company of the two seniors. Jin asks if you want to get back inside, and you politely decline, mentioning you’re thinking of going home anyway.
Jin and Namjoon protest, and insist you stay. They have have sensed your shyness, and they promise you won’t be left without company. They take you to the patio, which despite the amount of people coming and going, is much quieter than inside.
Jin and Namjoon introduce you to their other two brothers- handsome as hell also, like what do you expect at this stage really. While Hoseok is reminds you of sunshine and rainbow, Yoongi is the total opposite, with his black bucket hat, black tshirt, black jeans and black sneakers.
You feel shy again, in the presence of the four ridiculously good looking strangers you’ve just met. You can tell how close the four are. You can tell in their banter, their teasing, and the way they’re so comfortable physically with each other. You feel a bit jealous, wishing you had a group of friends like this.
Making friends has been difficult for you, and you count your lucky stars you get along so well with Jungkook, whom you’d met at your freshman class just a year ago. You’ve become so close that you start to fear that you’d lose him once he joins the BTS fraternity.
Then you hear something that snaps you out of your thoughts.
“Did you hear about the girl who tried to park in front of our house this afternoon?”
“Some of the juniors were talking about it. Why, what happened?”
“She nearly hit Jin’s pick up.”
“I heard the juniors were laughing at her. They said it took her like 15 minutes to park.”
“Aish, those boys should’ve helped her, not laugh at her.”
“Was it even a tight spot?”
“I think Jungkook knows the girl. He said he recognised the car.”
‘Is it difficult, parallel parking? They make you do it when you take your driver’s license test right?”
“We should apply to get at least this portion of the street to be a no parking zone. It gets so narrow once cars are parked on both sides.”
“I can parallel park with my eyes blindfolded.”
“Don’t ever let Namjoon parallel park. He’d hit the car in front AND behind him.”
You’re frozen in embarrassment. It doesn’t matter that they don’t know you’re THAT girl, to your ears, the casual way they talk about the whole thing sounds like they’re making fun of you.
You put your soda cup down a little to hard, and you say your goodbye a little too rough. The four guys are taken aback by your sudden change of mood. They’ve realised you don’t talk much and they’ve made an effort to include you in their conversation, not taking any offence when you give short and terse answers, or even polite smiles as you hide behind your cup. So the anger they see in your body language puzzles them.
“Did we say something wrong?” Hoseok says as he and his brothers watch you stomp your way out of the patio.
“She’s really upset.” Yoongi adds. “We must have said something that pisses her off.”
“No shit, Sherlock. Is she walking home? Does anyone know where she lives?” Jin asks, concerned for your safety.
“But what did we say? It’s weird she just stormed off like that.” Hoseok wonders as he watches you walking away.
“Did you guys see who she came with?” Namjoon asks Hoseok and Yoongi, who have been lounging in the patio since the swarm of party goers came to the house.
“I didn’t notice her until she came here with you two.” Yoongi replies.
“I saw her with Jungkook I think,” Hoseok tries to recall. “Should we tell him? Wait, is she his girlfriend? Maybe she’s pissed off he’s left her with us.”
“Whenever Jimin, Tae and Jungkook are together they just get into a bubble and forget about everyone else.” Namjoon says.
“One of us should at least walk her home right?” Jin watches you walking further away.
“She’s not his girlfriend. Jungkook doesn’t have a girlfriend.” Yoongi says sure of himself. Then it clicks. “Wait, oh shit.”
“Is she... Jungkook said he recognised...” Namjoon pieces the information together.
“Is she seriously walking home?” Jin is practically shouting. He knows Jungkook has a female flatmate, and now he’s put a face to the name Jungkook has very often mentioned to his frat brothers. And Jin knows your and Jungkook’s apartment is a good half hour walk away, and in a much quieter part of campus. Jin is really worried for your safety.
The four guys quickly get up and run after you.
—
You kick a pebble. You can’t hear the music and the revelry of the party anymore and your anger has dissipated, turned into annoyance and regret. You could’ve made a joke, poked a bit of fun at yourself, rather than throwing a tantrum and walking away like this.
But, so what? They’ve been insensitive making fun of people who can’t parallel park. Doesn’t matter how gorgeous they are, they’re just bratty frat boys from THE frat house on campus. They think they own the world.
But... they’ve been very nice to you too. Jin making sure you’re involved in their conversation. Namjoon recommending classes with good professors. Hoseok checking if you need more cola or if you’re hungry. Yoongi’s deadly stare warding off any drunken guys trying to hit on you. You sigh.
“Y/N!”
You stop in your track, heart in your throat, and turn to find the four guys you’ve just been thinking about running toward you.
“God,” Jin is panting. “Why do you walk so fast?”
“What are you guys doing?” You stare at Jin and his brothers. Did they chase you down all the way here?
Yoongi points at Jin. “He’s worried for your safety.”
“So we’re going to walk you home. In case something happens.” Hoseok adds.
You look at the four faces, confused. “Wouldn’t it look suspicious if four guys walk one girl home?”
The four faces look at you then each other, not quite sure with what you mean.
“Well a guy walks a girl home is normal, right? But four guys and one girl? Isn’t that kinda weird” Where the hell are you going with this, Y/N?
“Um,” Namjoon rubs the back of his neck, “we just want to make sure you’re ok.”
“You stormed off and it surprised us how upset you seem..” Yoongi adds, looking away but there is genuine concern in his voice.
”You’re flatmate with Jungkook, right? Your apartment isn’t exactly just around the corner. What if something happens on your way home?” Jin says.
“She’s right though, four guys walking a girl home does look weird. Let’s just do Rock Paper Scissors, guys.” Hoseok suggests.
You shake your head, watching them bicker some more before starting the hand game. You roll your eyes and start walking again, leaving them behind. You hear Jin calls you to wait, then more bickering, then a set of footsteps getting closer to you.
“Y/N, wait.” You turn and find Hoseok has caught up with you. “I’ll walk you home.” You look back and see the other three guys waving goodbye at you, then turning back towards their house. “I don’t normally win at rock paper scissors, glad I did just now though.” He flashes a wide smile at you.
You catch yourself wanting to smile back, how can you not, when he smiles at you like that. And it’s cute how the guys reacted after you left their party so abruptly. But you remember you’re supposed to be annoyed.
“Congratulations, hope you like walking.” You mutter. You hide a smile as Hoseok tries to keep up with your fast pace.
“Slow down Y/N, you’re going to look like you’re trying to run away from me.” Hoseok grabs your wrist, forcing you to match his slower pace.
Your breath hitches as he holds your wrist a few seconds longer, only letting go once you start to walk at a more leisurely pace.
“Slow down and enjoy the scenery.” He smiles.
You scoff. “Brown brick buildings hardly make beautiful scenery.”
Hoseok tuts. “But the trees do, and the shadows from the street lamps do. See, they look like they’re dancing in the breeze.”
“More like bony hands trying to strangle you.”
“Tsk. So macabre, Y/N. You need more sunshine in your life.” Hoseok teases.
“And I suppose you’re the sunshine?” You tease back.
“With a smile like this, of course I am.” He beams.
You can’t help but chuckle. A few minutes pass by, you and Hoseok stroll in silence.
“Y/N,” Hoseok gently calls your name, “I’m sorry about what we said back there.”
You keep looking ahead, embarrassment creeping up again.
“We didn’t know it was you. I.. well we’re really sorry we said all those stuff.”
You sigh. “Doesn’t matter, Hoseok. Whether or not you knew it was me, you guys still made fun of the whole situation.”
“I know, I know. We’re no better than our juniors who laughed at you.”
“It’s very embarrassing you know.” You pout, you don’t feel as upset anymore, but you might as well milk this for all it’s worth. “It’s horrible to be at the receiving end like that.”
“Ah, Y/N,” Hoesoek throws an arm around your shoulder and gives you a gentle squeeze. You blush immediately. “I’m very sorry. Really. All of us are.”
You clear your throat. Hoseok’s arm is still around you, and it doesn’t feel like he’s going to remove it soon. “I’m sorry too, Hoseok. The way I reacted was a bit... childish.” You say softly.
Another squeeze from Hoseok. “No, Y/N. Your reaction was understandable. We were out of line. Forgive us?” He turns to look at you intently.
Your cheeks are burning. You find it hard to answer him. But he mistakes your silence as playful sulking. “Come on, Y/N, forgive us please,” He wraps you in both his arms now. “We’re so sorry. I’ll make it up to you, ok?”
“And how are you going to make it up to me, Hoseok?” You coarsely ask, nerves so obvious in your voice.
Hoseok makes an exaggerated thinking pose. “I’ll send you the biggest bouquet of flowers. So big all the other girls on this campus would be so jealous of you.”
“Hmm. Don’t like flowers.” You say matter of factly.
“What? Why not?!”
You shrug. “Waste of money. They’re expensive. And they’ll just wither and die.”
“I’ll make you dinner.”
“You cook?”
Hoseok scratches his chin. “Well. Jin Hyung will cook and I’ll pass it as my own cooking?”
“That’s cheating, Hoseok.”
“I’ll walk you home everyday.”
“I drive, remember?”
Hoseok winces. You giggle.
“Chocolates?”
“Don’t like sweet stuff.”
And so you keep going back and forth with Hoseok. Your giggles become laughter as the embarrassment of your parallel parking vanishes. You don’t realise Hoseok still has an arm around your shoulder. That he has pulled you closer to him, your side pressed against his. That you eventually put your arm around his waist. And that you rest your head on the nook of his shoulder when he makes you laugh.
—
Hoseok insists walking you all the way up to your apartment. You fish your key out, and unlock your door.
“Do you want anything to drink? Some water?” You ask shyly as you step into your apartment. Feeling that Hoseok is not by your side anymore, you turn around, surprised finding him lingering by the entrance, looking unsure.
“Oh sorry, I didn’t mean anything by it, really. I just figure you might be thirsty after that long walk.” You stutter.
“No, no, Y/N. I’m sorry, it’s just..” Hoseok steps inside and nervously looks around your apartment, trying to give you an explanation but unable to.
“It’s just...” Hoseok repeats, and you find yourself holding your breath, staring at him. In the harsh light of your kitchen, he still looks so breathtakingly beautiful. Soft dark brown hair, gentle eyes, sharp cheekbones, oh my god that jawline, and those lips. Lips? Get a hold of yourself, Y/N.
“... can I have your number?” Hoseok finally asks. He smiles shyly at you and he thinks you look so cute blinking, surprised at his question. He likes the feeling of your arm around his waist, how your laughter is so free once you’re comfortable with him, how you fit so nicely against him. He wants more.
Hoseok pulls out his cellphone and hands it to you. You gingerly take it and puts in your number. Hoseok takes his phone back and gives you a missed call. “Now you have my number too.”
You take your phone out and saves his number. Then you realise. “hoseok, how are you going back to your house?”
Hoseok shrugs. “I’ll walk.”
“God, I’m so sorry. I made you walk all the way here and back.” You eye your couch. Should you offer him to stay over? Is that too forward?
Hoseok smiles and shakes his head. “I told you I’m happy I won rock paper scissors, didn’t I? I really am happy. I enjoyed the walk with you. Yeah the walk back will be lonely...” he taps his phone, “but you’ll keep me company, right?”
“Of course.” You answer giddily, nodding your head.
Hoseok steps out of your apartment, you hold the door open, reluctant to see him go. You stare at each other for a few seconds, both of you smiling nervously. You gather your courage to offer him your couch for the night, there’s no loss in asking. As you open your mouth however, he leans in and gives your the sweetest kiss on your cheek.
Your hand reaches for the spot on your cheek where his lips have just been. He smiles again and tweaks your nose gently.
“Get inside and lock up, ok? I’ll call you.” He says, as he starts to leave, walking backwards so he can still see you. “Don’t forget to lock your door.” He reminds you.
You smile at him and gives him a wave goodbye. You close your door, lock it then rests your head against it.
And you can’t hide your broad smile as you hear your phone ringing. Sunshine is calling you, as promised.

A Little Serendipity
Part.6
before / next
•masterlist•
———————
When I heard Soo-bin’s voice, I was already awake. We stay up all night and talked about everything, literally everything but that wasn’t enough for us, obviously. When we agreed on to sleep, I couldn’t actually. Talking about my past and her past made me feel guilty, because of what I missed all this time, in college. Moving from here was my biggest mistake, which I had to face it yesterday, again. In there, in college, I wasn’t truly happy about being far away from home, and I meant Soo-bin as home. Because with my family it was never good, it never felt like home, because I couldn’t be myself with them, I couldn’t act how I wanted to, so my true family were Soo-bin. I am so thankful for her, in every way. She is my family and my friend at the same time, so leaving her like that was my biggest mistake. College was a blank space for me, it wasn’t fun at all. It was just dealing with a lot of problem at the same time, having just one friend and not being able to close with him, at all. It just made me uncomfortable again. Talking and remembering all of these memories wasn’t really my number one fun activity, of course. “Hey, you!Wake up!”
The door opened so fast that I couldn’t even react to that. I looked at Soo-bin but she disappeared, already. I smiled little, because her action helped me to get away from those memories and thoughts so, I was thankful to her again. “The boys are coming to the breakfast!” She yelled again and I remembered the program. I was nervous again, because being with a lot of people which not knowing them at all, makes me nervous. I was this kind of person, who always nervous being in crowd and acting weird because of this nervousness. Aish, could I be more lame than I already? I always hated my this habit, it made me alone as I told before. It just makes people uncomfortable while they with me, because I couldn’t talk properly and act as well. So here I was, standing on my ‘new’ room and all nervous again. I sighed.
“Oh how many of them are coming?” I asked her while walking out of my room. She was in the kitchen and making something for breakfast. I watched her a little but then an idea came to me. “I can make some pancakes if you like?” She turned to me after my question, with scowled brow, probably surprised from my question. “I can make some after I change my pajamas.” I added. She was standing still now, more surprised from me. I giggle at her then walk to my room for changing clothes. I wears tights and a thin sweat, because I am always cold. Then, I fix my hair for make some pancakes.
“I didn’t know you can cook?” Soo-bin asked me with in a daze and i smiled at her. “I had to learn how to cook for myself so now, I know how to cook.” She nodded at me. “The boys can be here in any minute.” She instructed me while i was making pancakes, then continued. “I think all of them are going to be here.” She bit her lip and looked at me with curiosity, because she know me well and knows that I am going to be nervous about the crowd, but I didn’t change my expression and asked her, while trying to be cool with it. “Soo how many people is going to be here and their names?” She answered my question with pictures of them. She showed me the boys and told me their names, then I tried to remember them with repeat.
After a little time pass, the bell ringed. I tried my best not to be nervous and stupid, making some idiotic actions. It was hard for me but I should try my best not to do those things. I heard their voices, little screams and laughs, which it made me smile, knowing the love Soo-bin received from them while i was away, it made me happy. “Oh hello Y/N!!” with a lovely voice and sincere attitude, Jungkook hugged me. I wasn’t expecting it at all, he was so cute and lovely to me and I wasn’t sure about if I am deserving it. I greeted them and met them all. “Oh, Im hungry!” one of them talked loud, which he was Jin, i supposed. The one who send his selfie in return of mine. I smiled at him and he smiled back at me. “Oh hey! Are you okay?” Jin asked me with care, which it made me surprised because I was okay and didn’t know why he asked this. “I know my handsome face can make your heart weak so?”
“Oh, Im trying to be strong, actually.” I said to him while smiling. He was funny and lovely, which he can make jokes to me and knowing me not at all. He was handsome of course, right about his face, which it made him more funny. “Where is Yoongi?” Soo-bin’s questions distracted me. Then, I realized one of them were missing, the one who has cute chubby cheeks, with little eyes and cute looking. “He said that he can be here little late,” Taehyung’s voice took me from my thoughts and bring me back to reality. I did think a lot about that guy, which I couldn’t understand why, but it was whatever. After we learned the news, we started to wait for him. While waiting, I started to make some more pancakes because it wasn’t enough for these hungry boys. I was in the kitchen, making more pancakes, one them comes to kitchen. I couldn’t look at him at once. “Do you need some help?” he asked then I can be able to look at him. It was Hoseok, If im not mistaken. He has bright smile on his face and make his eyes invisible. He was very cute while smiling. “Oh hey!” I smiled back at him and shrugged one of my shoulder, “You can, if you want but literally you have nothing to do right now.” I added while smiling. He nodded his head, but still stood in the kitchen. I get nervous just a little because they were cute, lovely guys and they didn’t make me that uncomfortable but still it was me and I had to be nervous even a little bit. “Do I make you uncomfortable?” he asked. I nodded my head immediately and add, “Oh, no!” He was surprised because of my reaction, which I was too. I literally yelled at him with in excitement, but it was too much in this little kitchen. “Uhh, Im sorry.” I said with shame, looked at down to floor. He giggled then touched my shoulder and with a nice voice he respond at me. “You are such a weird person Y/N,” I looked at him with disappointment but he continued, “ I mean it in a good way, don’t be sorry. I think you are provoked my curiosity about you.” He said before giggling at me. I was surprised of his attitude towards me, because why he is being so lovely to me? Or why all of them being nice towards me, at all? I know that they know what I did to Soo-bin, so it was confusing for me. “Im not trying to flirt with you by the way, don’t get me wrong, okay?” He needed to make a statement because of my quietness. “No,no” I felt an urge inside me to explain myself, “I didn’t get that kind of a thought, believe me. It, just-“ my words interrupted with a ring.
I couldn’t finish my word because they were so hungry and me too of course, thats why we just headed to the table to make breakfast. Min Yoongi, sit down to my right side, beside of Jungkook. “You should introduce yourself, Yoongi.” Hoseok said while throwing napkin at him. He looked at him with a ‘killer look’ then he took breath. I was just going to say it’s not important but he acted faster than me. “Im sorry,” he said with sincere voice, “Im Min Yoongi and you are?” He asked kindly. I smiled a little at him then answered, “Im Y/N Y/L/N, and nice to meet you all again.” After looking at them I turned my head to my plate, because it was too much. One of the thing is, having eyes on me and having too much eyes on me made me nervous, and the second thing is, having his eyes on me made me more nervous. I didn’t know what happened but his eyes, attitudes and his aura made me feel different. I don’t know what it is, but I know for sure that from now on Im not going to be able to look at him, again. Thats for sure.
i hope you guys liked this part of the story^-^ If any of you want to be tagged the next part, just let me know with a comment or message:)

Tourniquet - Han Jisung Gang AU Part 7
(Part1) (Part2) (Part3) (Part4) (Part5) (Part6) (Part8) (Part9)

“I’m so so sorry.” Jisung breathed in your ear, his strong arms around you.
You kept your face buried into the crook of his neck as he held you tightly, his face buried in your hair.
“I didn’t mean for that to happen, I’m just- I’m so sorry Y/N.” He said again.
“Jisung stop apologizing. What’s going on?” You asked, pulling away.
“It-It’s a lot to explain... Let’s head back to Changbin’s.” He said, grabbing your hand.
You didn’t want to argue, still pumping with adrenaline as you let him lead you back to Changbin’s place. He opened the door as Chan was walking through the hall.
“Oh, hey.” Chan said with a smile, but it disappeared as soon as he saw the look on both of your faces.
“What happened?” He asked.
“Wooyoung and San showed up while we were walking back.” Jisung said.
Chan’s eyes widened as he looked at you, and back at Jisung.
“Did you tell her?” He asked.
You looked at Jisung as he bit his lip and shook his head.
“Well, I guess she should know now.” Chan sighed.
“Know what?” You asked.
Jisung led you into the living room with the others, their eyes on the both of you as they greeted you both with smiles. Their smiles faded just like Chan’s when Chan walked into the room, a dark look on his face.
“What happened?” Changbin asked.
“Wooyoung and San saw them and went after Jisung.” Chan said.
Everyone fell silent as Felix looked at you.
“She knows?” He asked.
“No.” Jisung sighed.
“Okay enough keeping me in the dark, what is it?” You asked.
“We’re... Ya know... A group called Stray Kids...” Jisung said, scratching the back of his neck.
“Like... A gang?” You asked.
They all nodded and you closed your eyes for a moment before opening them again.
“Okay.” You said.
“Okay?” Jisung asked.
“That’s all you have to say about it?” Changbin asked.
“I mean, what can I really say? I’m surprised, but then again I’m not.” You said with a shrug.
“So... You DON’T hate me now?” Jisung asked.
“No, why would I?” You asked, tilting your head.
“I thought you’d run off screaming.” He sighed.
You couldn’t help but giggle and he gave you a confused look as the other members laughed too.
“What’s so funny?” He asked.
“You.” You giggled.
“How?” He asked.
“You think I can be afraid of a complete dork?” You asked, sticking your tongue out.
“Yah!” He laughed.
The other members laughed as Felix beckoned you both over. You sat on the couch as they all seemed to turn a little bit serious.
“This could be potentially bad for Y/N now that they’ve seen her.” Chan pointed out. “We’ll have to keep an eye on her.”
You looked at Jisung who bit his lip nervously as he nodded.
“I know Chan. I won’t let anything happen to her.” Jisung said.
“We’ll all make sure she stays safe.” Changbin said as the other’s nodded.
One turned to you with a big smile as he bowed his head.
“I don’t think I ever properly introduced myself. I’m Jeongin.” He said with a big smile.
You smiled and bowed politely as an older member smiled at you.
‘I’m Woojin.” He said in a soft tone.
Another member nodded to you and you almost gasped when you saw his bruised, cut up face.
“I’m Minho.” He said.
He saw the look on your face and gave you a small smile.
“It’s not as bad as it looks.” He said.
“Is that where you disappeared to the night Chan called you?” You asked, turning to Jisung.
He scratched the back of his head and nodded.
“Me, Felix, and Chan had to go save him.” He said.
You nodded and bowed your head to Minho.
“I’m glad you’re okay.” You said with a smile.
He smiled back as a younger member bowed to you.
“I’m Seungmin.” He said.
You bowed back as Jisung smiled at you. You smiled back, and caught Changbin looking at the both of you with a smirk.
“So? Are you two dating or something?” He asked.
“What?” You both asked.
He laughed and shook his head.
“Aish. So oblivious.” He laughed and got up to walk out of the room.
You looked up and made eye contact with Hyunjin, who gave you a friendly smile and walked out. You were left with Jisung and Chan, who both seemed to be lost in thought.
“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone either.” You said, giving them both of them a reassuring smile.
“Honestly, I’m not to worried about you telling people. I’m more worried about about them coming after you.” Chan said.
“Who are they?” You asked.
“Another group called Ateez. Their leader hates us and have been giving us problems ever since.” Jisung said.
“He hates you guys?” You asked.
“Yeah. Once we all became an official group he challenged us and got beaten. Ever since then, he’s been giving us trouble.” Chan sighed.
“Jeez.” You sighed.
You sat there for a moment and shuttered at the thought of a gang coming after you. Jisung put his hand on your shoulder and gave you a reassuring smile.
“Don’t worry, we won’t let anyone hurt you.” He said.
“Ah, her night in shining armor huh?” Changbin asked as he walked into the room with a dorky grin.
“More like a goofball in aluminum foil.” You giggled.
“Yah! I’m tough okay!” Jisung said with a pout.
“Oh so tough when you’re pouting.” You giggled.
He grabbed you and wrestled you on the couch as you laughed underneath of him.
“Alright love birds, Jisung needs to be checked by Seungmin or Woojin.” Chan said.
“I’m fine Hyung, I’ll get checked when I get back. I have to make sure she gets home safe.” Jisung said.
“Do that now, I’ll bring her home.” Chan said.
“But Hyung-”
“No buts Jisung.” Chan said sternly.
.Jisung sighed and got up and ruffled your hair, giving you a smile. You stood up and followed him and Chan to the door, where he grabbed your arm.
“You amaze me.” He said.
“What do you mean?” You asked.
“You’re just so interesting... I’ve never met anyone like you. I just want to be around you all the time.” He said with a smile.
You blushed and giggled as he let out a small laugh.
“Text me when you get in, okay?” He asked.
You nodded as he smiled and walked back in. You followed Chan into the car, getting into the passenger seat and putting your seat belt on.
“Do you remember how to get to my apartment?” You asked.
He nodded and back out of the driveway before taking off down the road. You fell silent as you thought of something to say.
“You okay?” He asked.
“Yeah, I’m tired.” You said.
“You’re not mad at Jisung, are you?” He asked.
“I don’t have a reason to be. He’s not obligated to tell me his life story.” You said.
“Yeah, but now you have the potential of being in danger.” He said.
You fell silent for a moment before giving him a confident smile.
“I trust Jisung, and I trust you.” You said.
He smiled as he kept his eyes on the road.
“Good.” He said.
When you got into your apartment, you sighed and sat on your bed. You had unintentionally gotten involved with a gang, and had the chance of another coming after you. But thinking about it, you felt oddly safe. You felt safe knowing Jisung was there.
And what were these odd feelings anyways? You sat in the shower, the warm water running down your back as you thought of every interaction you’ve had with Jisung. It was always lighthearted and sweet, and you could be yourself around him. You closed your eyes and sighed.
You had feelings for him, no doubt.
You dried yourself and heard your phone buzz as you saw two texts from Jisung.
Jisung: Yah! You were supposed to text me when you got back.
Jisung: Listen, I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean for tonight to happen. Please don’t hate me.
Your heart clenched at the last one. He really thought you were mad at him.
You: Jisung, I’m not made at you, okay? Stop apologizing, you didn’t do anything wrong.
You: And oh now it’s bad when I don’t text you letting you know I’m safe, but you DISAPPEAR for a day and come back with an injury
Jisung; Yah! I don’t want that to happen to you, that’s why I’m saying it
Jisung: I wouldn’t let it happen to you.
Your heart fluttered as you read the last one and smiled.
You: I know you wouldn’t. I have to be up for work tomorrow, goodnight Jisung.
Jisung: Goodnight Y/N
As much as you loved your job, some of the perverts that came in were unbearable. You were bringing food to a table when you noticed a customer, around your age, staring at your ass. He wasn’t discreet about it, he was the complete opposite. His eyes ate you up like you were nothing but a piece of meat, and it made you feel sick. You looked up when you heard the bell to the door ring and saw Jisung, Chan, and Changbin. They greeted you as you sat them at a table, giving them menu’s.
“What a pleasant surprise.” You said with a smile.
“What can we say? The food is good, but the service? Perfect.” Jisung said with a big grin.
“Your flirting sucks.” Changbin chuckled.
Jisung whacked him and Changbin grunted as he rubbed his arm. You smiled and shook your head as you gave them your drinks and walked back to check on your other tables. You felt sick again as you noticed that same guy was staring at you again. You kept your eyes down until they looked up and saw Jisung, who was glaring at the kid. His eyes were dark and narrowed as he looked over at him. Chan said something that seemed to snap him out of his thoughts. Jisung kept his eyes narrowed as he looked down at his drink, then up at you. He gave you a kind smile before turning to Changbin, who was talking about something. You gave them their food and Jisung poked at his, seeming to have lost his appetite. You were going to ask him whats wrong, wondering if there was something up with the food, when the guy who had been staring at you walked up behind you and flicked your skirt up.
You gasped and your face turned red as you turned around. The sounds of chairs moving echoed throughout the room, as your regulars jumped up to defend you. But none of them were as fast as Jisung.
Jisung’s fist connected with the kids face, cracking his jaw as he flew on the ground. You flinched as you saw Jisung’s face, red with anger, eyes dark.
“You wanna do that again?!” He yelled.
You backed away from him as Changbin and Chan grabbed him and pulled him away. His breathing was ragged as he pulled away from them, his jaw clenched.
Your boss came running up, her eyes on the kid on the ground, then to Jisung.
“What business do you have starting trouble here?” She yelled at Jisung.
“Ma’am-” Chan started.
“You hoodlums come in here and cause a ruckus and think this is okay?!” She yelled.
“Ma’am that isn’t what happened, that little punk on the ground lifted her skirt. That boy was defending her.” One of your regulars said.
Her face turned red with anger as she looked at the boy on the ground.
‘OUT!” She yelled.
The kid scrambled to his feet and ran out, his friends running after him. She looked at Jisung, who bowed deeply to her.
“I’m so sorry ma’am, I acted out of line.” He said.
‘Nonsense! You were defending my precious employee, I’m sorry I misjudged you!” She said with a big smile and bowed to him.
His face turned red as he rubbed the back of his neck. He looked at you and you quickly bowed, your face red.
‘Thank you, Jisung.” You said.
He smiled at you before he and the other two sat down and talked with your boss. You continued your shift, getting treated nicely by your regulars who had watched it all go down and being assured no one saw anything explicit.
You felt grateful for all your regulars that had gotten up to help you, but even more grateful for Jisung, for defending you. Yeah, you had been a little intimidated (Okay, VERY intimidated by his angry state), but he had been protecting you, and you were beyond grateful for that.
You kept making eyes with him, but every time you did, he looked down. It was almost if he didn’t want to face you. When they got up to leave, Jisung walked over to you and bowed deeply before walking out. You and your boss looked at each other in confusion, but you decided to push it off. After your shift, your manager apologized to you for having to go through with what happened, but you reassured her it wasn’t her fault. When you walked out, you looked up at the sky. It was cloudy and gloomy, as it had just gotten done raining.“Y/N?” You turned around and saw Jisung leaning against the lamp post, walking over to you. His large eyes seemed a little nervous as he stopped in front of you.‘I’m sorry, I shouldn’t of acted out of line. It was uncalled for, but he deserved it and-” “Giggle” He stopped when he heard you giggle. He looked at you in surprise and it made you giggle more.“You don’t have to apologize Jisung, you didn’t do anything wrong. “ You said reassuringly. “A-Are you sure?” He asked. “I’m positive. Thank you, so much for defending me.” You said, bowing. “Well ya know... I would never let anything happen to you.” He mumbled. You looked up at him but he was looking away
.“I have to get home, thank you again.” You said, bowing again.
He gave you a soft smile, and just as you were about to turn around and walk away, a car came flying down the street, and a huge puddle was by the curb you were next too. The car hit it and the water almost hit you, but Jisung stepped over in front of you and got soaked from head to toe.You looked at him in shock as he looked at himself, you both looked at each other and started laughing.
“I guess you really are my goofball in aluminum foil.” You giggled. He smiled at you, and you noticed his teeth chattering, as it was early spring.
‘Do you want my hoodie? You can have it-” You tried to offer. “Nah, I’m okay.” He said, shutting down the offer. “Why not?” You asked
.“You’ll get cold, and it’s going to rain again soon.” He said. “Then come back to my place, it’s a lot closer. At least until I can dry your clothes.”
He thought about it for a minute before he smiled and nodded.
When you got back to your apartment, you grabbed him a towel and walked out to him standing shirtless. You nearly choked as you saw his body. Lean and ripped, with nice biceps. You blushed as he looked at you.
“Sorry, they were really cold.” He said. You stretched the towel out and reached up, rubbing his soaked hair with it. He raised an eyebrow at you and you blushed.
“You helped me, so I’m helping you.” You said. He smiled at you as your face turned bright red. You kept your eyes away from him. Your heart was pounding through your chest, and you begged that he didnt hear it.
“Y/N?” He asked.
You looked up at him as he leaned down, connecting his soft lips to yours.

Witching: 03
[MASTERLIST]
Summary: After your brother goes missing, you find yourself in Seoul with nothing but a prosthetic limb as the only clue to what might have happened. Circumstances lead you to a coven of seven handsome young men. But they happen to be a well-known coven that goes by the name ‘Bangtan Boys’. Can they be trusted? Where is your brother?
Pairing: BTS x Reader, OT7 x Reader
Genre: Supernatural, Mystery, Drama, Romance, Comedy, Action, and more. HONESTLY ALL THE GOOD STUFF.
Words: 1.1k

"Oh hello," you blushed, closing the book awkwardly and trying to place it back onto the shelf, whilst maintaining polite eye contact and tripping over the end table and catching the small lamp. He looked you over and hummed. Introducing himself as the leader Kim Namjoon. But he also went by the name Ruin Master. “Ruin Master?”
“Yeah, I always wished I registered under my name. RM is what people tend to use now anyway.” He laughed rubbing the back of his neck. His nervous hand seemed to be emitting a small amount of magic causing his hair to spike up like static. Lowering his hand he gave a shy smile, opening his mouth to speak.
"Hyung, I got a new spell, I was wondering if you could. Oh! Who is your friend…?" Another new face appeared, this one a lot more boyish, with long brown curls framing his face he was very quiet, dressed in baggy clothes his hands held out a small stack of paper. His voice had died down when he saw you and he walked around the couch instead of passing you by, he wouldn’t look you in the eyes.
"She is Tae and Hope’s guest, she is looking for her brother" the same drawl from last night spoke from behind you. Instead of the translucent man who guided you to this home in the dead of night, this was the real deal, he was pale and thin. His hair wasn’t as green as you believed, but more of a blueish mint. He pressed a large stack of papers into the hands of Namjoon.
"You lost your brother? What does he look like?" Namjoon spoke the blonde was speaking a funny language to a very cute Pomeranian in his arms, he was grinning and you noticed the room had filled with seven male witches. You pulled out your phone to show him a photo of your brother. "I see we will keep an eye out for him, feel free to stay as long as you wish"
"I got to go open the shop," Jin said making breakfast he was dressed in a white button-up and black trousers. Jin served everyone a plate and ate quite quickly, throwing his leftover bacon to Butters in the center of the table which started eating in a way plants do not. “Would you like to go to work with us?" Jin smiled running his hand under your chin and tilting it back so you could make eye contact with him.
"Uh, sure I will quickly get dressed" You went to the bathroom and scolded yourself for falling for his charms. But you had nothing else to do, so you changed slowly, it was wearing a simple black dress with a white collar. You looked was cute and stylish. And judging by the other boys dressed pretty professional, you didn’t want to wear anything too outrageous.
You arrived at the shop it was a modern smoothie bar the floor was a bright clean white. It looked really industrial with exposed pipes across the darker walls and ceiling and hanging lights. The tables were stainless steel as were the chairs. There were a few metal vases that Jimin went around filling with beautiful flowers. Noticing you watching he blushed, assuring you they were the regular kind before taking your hand and kissing your knuckles like he had yesterday.
The boy with the mint hair was sat on top of the counter looking tired, "Yoongi, you can't sleep, we are about to open the store" You smiled they all seemed to be very comfortable around each other. Reading the menu, which was written neatly on blackboards pinned up behind the counter. The smoothies had some weird names but you could tell what they were supposed to.
The happy smoothie had fruit ingredients but also had dandelion, Oregano, Cinnamon, Thyme, and Pine. They were making actual potion smoothies. The youngest was writing the specials on the chalkboard beside the counter and he was drawing a Sigil but he got stuck. "Was that meant to be a downstroke or do you really desire the strength of a water pig, you want to draw it like this"
He looked up and blushed, looking back down he waved his hand and the sigil disappeared. Kneeling beside him you tucked your dress to your legs so it wouldn’t get stuck under your shoes. Taking the chalk you drew the sigil with ease "How did you do that so fast, are you a witch too?" The whole room went quiet, everyone was listening to your conversation
"No I can't do magic, I mean I can do the basic stuff in the grade school books. But if I could do anything more than that, I wouldn't be sleeping on your couch" You said hoping they wouldn’t press you on things. You can do magic and quite well, you have practiced every spell in your specialty books at least a million times alone in your room. But you have never actually used them properly, afraid of what you could do.
"Ya! Jin-ah" Jimin shouted passing Taehyung who was bringing the delivery boxes of fruit into the kitchen. You watched as a very angry Jimin was stomping across the floor. "You cut these from Mindy, didn't you? You’re the reason I had to console her all afternoon yesterday, you know you need to ask before you start chopping my plants"
"Aish I didn't have time to wait for you to come back home, I needed to get things ready for today" You laughed and finished up writing the rest of the Sigils on the specials board and handed the chalk back over to the young boy. The shop was soon open and the boys began serving, they seemed to be overwhelmed with people coming in for their morning pick me up’s.
You grinned walking behind the counter, standing at the point of sales touch screen, "who was next?" you smiled and a man in a business suit holding a newspaper under his arm a suitcase and a phone to his ear stepped forward seeming very tired. He politely put his phone down, ordering an Energizing Serum, in a travel cup, with no mango "of course small medium or large" I smiled
"A large please" he gave a bright grin handing you the money, putting the order threw, you exchanged the money with him making sure to give him the change and you took a travel cup and asked for his name “Minho”
You wrote on the cup his name and a quick good luck sigil, passing it down to Suga and Jhope who were making drinks. Continuing to serve, they began calling out names and you made sure to have everyone served and you poured smoothies and put on lids on the travel cups to make the jobs easier for the boys. "Have a lovely day" you smiled

It Consumes Me
A BTS/Kim Namjoon Fanfiction
Summary: The minute he laid eyes on her he knew she was the one. But love is a battle of the mind and the heart, and when the voices in your head start winning, how can your heart possibly compete with a choice that consumed you before the very start…
Type: Angst/Love
Disclaimer: This story contains strong themes. Should a chapter be potentially triggering, it will be stated beforehand. (This chapter contains more direct reference to triggering subjects, most prominently EDs)
Chapter 1 Chapter 2 Chapter 3 Chapter 4
Chapter 6
You couldn’t help biting your lip as the two of you returned to Jungkook a few minutes later, hands entwined securely together, bringing a much lighter atmosphere to the younger guy…and the nearing empty plates laid out before him.
‘Jungkook-ah! Don’t tell me you ate all of that food alone?’ Namjoon instantly scolds his friend the second he enters the room after you and catches sight of the table, his voice reaching a new depth that you hadn’t heard before, and you feel a shiver race through you as you settle back down in front of your coffee and continue to sip on it with an amused smile roaming your lips.
‘Hyung! You were taking ages, and the food was getting cold! I’ve already ordered you both more, anyway. But in answer to your question-‘
‘Hyung! Where have you-‘
The guy who appears in the door at that moment is stunning in an angelic sense, even with the disheveled hair he was sporting under the hood of his over-sized jacket that he had pulled up, the softness of his face, and the soft curves of his lips, nose, and eyes, all told you that he was beautiful in an other-worldly sense. It was only the ripped jeans and the slightly beaten army boots he was wearing that gave you any indication that he was a human like any of the rest of you in the room, as well as the slight ruggedness to his voice that told you he’d not long woken up from sleeping (despite it being almost bedtime anyway).
Evidently from Namjoon’s death glare across the table at Jungkook, the man beside you had not been informed of the other guys imminent arrival, and so all you can do for a moment is awkwardly smile at the guy in the door who was staring at you with a look caught between confusion and alarm, before he realises he is doing so, and you see the tips of his cheeks tinge pink in embarrassment as he ducks his head and enters the room fully, pulling the door closed behind him for more privacy.
‘Ah…hyung…Jungkook told me you were grabbing food so I asked if I could join and he said yes-‘
‘Yah! Hyung! Don’t blame it on me! You demanded I tell you where we were cause you were ‘starving’.’ Jungkook argues quickly, using air-quotes for the last word to back up his innocence in the matter, the strain on his face and the new guy’s, telling you they were both waiting in suspense for Namjoon’s reaction to the circumstances.
But not being one to let your good mood get taken away from you, you decide to intervene before the man sat beside you can say anything.
‘Well its just as well you brought in reinforcements to help eat the food, Jungkook-ie. Please, sit down…?’
‘Jimin.’ The guy introduces himself, seeming to relax some with your intervention, and you even notice a small lifting at the edges of his lips that signaled his comfort and slight curiosity towards you.
‘Jimin.’ You confirm with a smile, ‘I’m y/n.’
Its only as you watch Jimin sit opposite you that you become aware once again that Namjoon’s hand is still cradling yours under the table between you, his thumb smoothing over the back of your hand in what is almost a thankful gesture at your reaction to the new person in the room, conjuring your gaze up to his, where you find him watching you with an unexplainable look that slowly lifts into a thoughtful smile. You watch him as he lifts your joined hands so that he could place a swift yet meaningful kiss to your knuckles, proceeding to take a sip of his water and leaving you to chuckle silently to yourself, before immediately having your attention confronted by Jimin’s intent stare at you after obviously having just watched your interaction with his friend.
‘I...feel like some explaining needs to happen.’
------------
Namjoon
He’d watched her throughout dinner, making sure a part of him was touching her the entire time, whether it be her hand in his, her thigh lay flush against his, or his palm on her knee, the nerves left over from the revelations of the night still swimming boldly through his veins and leaving him anxious to the thought of her leaving at any moment.
The way she conversed with his friends, despite his anger toward Jungkook for allowing Jimin to join them and, in turn, find out about y/n, had made his chest swell with happiness, the laughter that flowed easily between them causing him to notice the way her eyes squinted at the sides when she found something really funny, or the way she’d hold her stomach with one hand and cover her mouth with the other when she laughed too hard for even her own tiny body to handle…
…but that wasn’t all he’d noticed about her.
Throughout the meal- as Jimin dug in happily to the hotpot and ssam that Jungkook had ordered, and the maknae helped himself to seconds- she had returned frequently to her coffee, nibbling at one or two kkenip leaves… but for some reason not actually eating anything.
When he’d noticed that half the bowls were empty the first time and she hadn’t eaten much more than two bites of a leaf wrap, he’d hurriedly made a filled one for her and offered it to her, but the minute she’d taken it from him and he’d relaxed with a smile, she’d quickly made to feed it to him, laughing when he’d protested lightly, insisting it was for her, before giving into her wants and letting her push it into his mouth, the move thankfully covering his confusion at the turn of events.
After that he’d made sure to thank her properly with a kiss to the cheek- which had made the others cringe, and her squeeze his fingers tightly with gratitude, as well as offer him a meaningful look. He’d then made sure to slyly take the small bowl that had sat untouched before her and fill it with some of the stew before Jungkook could finish it off, replacing it quietly in front of her and trying to not make it too obvious that he was watching her reaction intently.
Instantly he found himself relaxing when she’d turned to him with a questioning yet thankful look, leaning over to return the kiss to his cheek that he’d placed on hers earlier, and as he’d watched her pick up her spoon and slurp some of the soup happily, he’d shaken himself out of his inquisitive state of mind, and resigned himself to being overly addicted to her every move, returning to help himself to the rest of the food- and scolding Jungkook for eating too much when he’d already had a whole place setting to himself.
He’d filled Jimin in as much as he’d informed Jungkook about y/n over dinner, taking note of the concerned creases that appear at the edges of his eyes over their relationship status, and deciding to deal with his questions later, quickly suggesting to the others that they should make a move after he realizes they’d been at the restaurant for well over 2 hours- not the 1 hour he’d told y/n earlier.
‘I don’t think I should be paying considering you ate pretty much the entire two rounds, Jungkook, but I’ll make an exception if you keep the fact of me and y/n to yourself and don’t make a big thing of it…you too, Jimin.’ Namjoon states, stern gaze flickering from the maknae to his other friend and softening to a pleading look, which is only responded to with a small un-flustered nod. Its only once they’re outside that Namjoon finally finds it in himself to inform y/n of the time.
‘Aish, I need to get home.’
They were the words he’d been dreading to hear.
‘Just stay a little longer.’ He pleads, clasping both of her hands in his as he stands in front of her, letting the others continue walking slowly ahead of them as he searches her eyes, bringing her hands up to his chest when he realises that they were cold and cocooning them in his hold.
‘I cant. My father is going to be angry enough as it is about the fact that I was out studying so late, …I cant even fathom what he’d say if he found out about you.’ She trails off, ducking her head sadly as she admits this tiny detail to him.
‘Well at least we can both agree on something…’ he murmurs in response a few seconds later, slowly lifting her chin so that she was looking at him, and smiling kindly down at her, ‘We’ll have to keep a low profile for both of our sakes.’
It hurt his heart to say it to her, the idea of not being able to share the fact that she was his with everyone feeling like a fist was wrapping around his heart. Yet at the same time he couldn’t help but feel relieved that he could live this separate secret life along side her for a while, allowed to learn her and enjoy spending time with her at his own pace.
‘Yeah…sorry...’
‘Why are you apologizing?’ he asks lightly, pulling her closer to him so that he could wrap his arms around her waist, the need to keep her warm in the slight breeze of the river over-ruling any wish he might have had to let her have her own space- although judging by the smile on her face, she didn’t mind the touch one bit.
‘It just means I get to be with you, and learn about you; learn all of your favourite things, as well as the things you hate- and I get to do all of that without worrying that people are watching us, or that anything bad could happen to you.’ He explains, intending to watch his words sink in on her face, but not being able to resist stealing a kiss from her when he sees her staring at his lips, and feeling his stomach rejoice at the taste of her, enjoying the way her eyes sparkle as he pulls back to look at her.
‘You’re too sweet for your own good, Kim Namjoon.’
It was his name lingering on her lips, watching the way the luscious magenta framed the words that belonged to her just as much as him with the way they became true in the night air that floated around his ears, that had his mind racing with ideas of how to make her stay; how to convince her to stay by his side till the day began again, how to tell her that she couldn’t leave him because it felt to him like her touch was the only thing keeping him standing in that moment as their bodies lingered under the luminescent glow of the streetlights.
‘Is there any way I can make you stay?’ he asks, so softly that at first he hadn’t realised he’d spoken aloud. Its not until he sees her eyes dancing with glitter, the temptation of tears plucking at her lower lids, and he notices her lips curving unknowingly into an adoring smile, that he realises he must have said something to cause the reaction, causing his brain to suddenly catch up with himself.
‘I-‘
The sudden touch of her fingertips to his lips has a wave of tingling rushing down his spine, fingers involuntarily curling in the back of her coat, clutching her closer to him as he fights the desire to close his eyes and savour the moment, needing to know what the reason for the move was.
‘I cant tonight. …but I’ll tell my father that I’m staying at a friends tomorrow- or whenever you’re free. I-...sorry, I don’t mean to sound pushy-‘
‘Tomorrow. Definitely tomorrow.’ He cuts her off without letting her finish, locking eyes with her and grinning uncontrollably, the look being an overflow of the sudden riot that had begun in his chest following her words, the entirety of his body practically swelling with the need for the sun to rise and set again within the next ten seconds just so that he could get to the next time he’d be able to have her in his arms knowing he wouldn’t have to let her go until the sun rose.
‘Okay.’
It was a whisper, a confirmation, a promise; it was everything he needed in that moment.
‘Namjoon-hyung? Are you guys coming?’
The call from Jimin was an obvious ‘deus et machina’, a full stop to a sentence he never wanted to end, but that he knew had to.
‘I really do need to go.’ She murmurs as if on cue, having turned her head to look over to where the other guys were stood expectantly waiting, and as much as it hurt him to let go of her, he slowly drops his arms from her waist, making sure to catch her hand as he takes a step back and offering her a sorrowful smile when she turns back to look at him with the retraction.
‘I’ll walk you to the bus stop.’ He offers, smiling as his thumb grazes the back of her hand comfortingly, signalling that he wouldn’t fight her anymore on the matter that night.
‘Oh, that’s okay, I haven’t got any money on me, I was just going to walk-‘
Namjoon signals to Jimin to wait for a few more minutes as she talks, recognizing the rejection by the awkward way in which she fumbled over her words, remembering the way he’d had to do it numerous times when he’d first moved to Seoul and had very limited funds from which he could borrow. However, despite knowing she would put up a fight at his next move (having witnessed enough of her glorious pride to anticipate it), he also knew that the alternative; letting him walk her home; was out of the question for them both, and so bracing himself for a protest, he gently turns her in the direction of the row of bus stations, and digs his wallet from his coat pocket, fishing his travelcard out from within and waiting until they were both stood within one of the shelters to gift it to her.
‘What’s this?’ she asks faux-obliviously, narrowing her eyes gently as she looks up at him, and he smiles bashfully down at her, slowly brushing some of her hair from her face as a distraction, whilst also knowing the move was a simple indulgence for him.
‘Which bus takes you home?’ he asks instead, looking up and seeing two buses approaching from further down the road.
‘The one to Hyochang. Now, sir, would you mind telling me why you just gave me this card?’ she asks again, her voice playful yet still confused as he inwardly groans; partly for the fact that the second bus would indeed take her to her house (and away from him), and partly because of the title she’d just used to address him.
‘I figured if I gave you my travel card, you’d be able to get the bus home, because you would have refused any offer of me walking you home, meaning I wont have to worry that you’re cold and open to attack on your way back. And also, this way I have assurance that I will see you tomorrow because you’ll want to return it to me. …your bus is here.’
His explanation is punctuated by the brakes of the vehicle as it pulls to a stop beside them, the late hour thankfully meaning there were only a few people on board, but Namjoon still made sure to angle his body slightly so that they couldn’t see the part of his face that wasn’t covered by the facemask he quickly put on. For the few moments he’d spoken their eyes had been locked together, some form of argument appearing to build within the depths of her pupils as he gazed into them, yet when he felt behind him for the button to open the bus doors he saw it instantly dissipate, only to be replaced with something he could only describe as timidness.
However, before he could really decode it, her perfume was suddenly filling his nose and the shape of her lips had imprinted themselves on the tip of his cheek as it poked out from beneath his mask, and he was left with the gentle whisper of her voice ringing in his ears as he turned to watch the bus pull away with her on it, the few words echoing in his mind like a siren call as he locked eyes with her from within and she smiled sweetly back at him until she was out of sight…
‘Thank you, Namjoon-oppa.’

Please Teacher.
Can you teach a person how to love? What is happiness? What is sacrifice? What is being happy seeing the person you love happy? AePete AU where Pete is Teacher and Ae is his student.
Pete is a 21 years old Assistant Teacher and he was assigned to teach the senior high school English.
When he was first introduced to the class, the whole class shouted most especially the girls and bombarded him with questions like:
ARE YOU SINGLE?!
DO YOU HAVE A GIRLFRIEND?
DO YOU HAVE A BOYFRIEND?
Are you willing to accept 17 years old?
Can I be your faen?
The home room teacher massaged his aching temple and told them all to, ‘QUIET THE HELL UP! HE is your Assistant Teacher for six months! Don’t harass him! Act like humans! Stop acting like a pack of hungry hyenas!’
‘WE ARE HUNGRY! Teacher if we see your face all day of course we will be hungry! Who would want to see your ugly mug!’
‘Aish! These stupid students! Shut up!’
Pete chuckles with the closeness the students shows to their homeroom teacher Mr. Nattapol.
The students gasped at the beauty and musical laughter.
‘Mr. Pitchaya, please do let me know when the girls started harassing you. Scream if you must if one of them started undressing-‘
‘AISH! Teacher! You pervert! We won’t undress!’
‘Yeah! We’ll just seduce him-‘
‘Shut up!’ Mr. Nattapol looks at Pete and sighs once more, ‘If you need me, please do shout and if they corner you – RUN.’
Mr. Nattapol leave the classroom but look at his students and made a hand gesture – I AM SEEING YOU – and looks at Pete. Why the hell did this guy decided to be a teacher? He can be a bloody model or an actor.
Mr. Pete Pitchaya created an uproar in just 3 days. The whole school become chaotic as students will loiter at the faculty just to get a glimpse of the beautiful angelic teacher, 3-D classroom becomes popular, what used to be the most notorious for misbehave and goofy and happy go lucky students becomes notorious to have their own personal ANGEL.
Pete enjoys the camaraderie and the students acceptance of him. He was really nervous because this was his first official on the job training.
Pete teaches English every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. On Tuesday and Saturday, he goes back to his university to report and attend some of his major subjects. He is graduating soon and the Assistant Teacher job will give him more credits and experience. After all he plans to teach high school students.
Pete only have 6 months and he spends it wisely as he teaches each of his students the proper and best way to understand English.
He was checking the quizzes he gave the students when one particular paper caught his attention.
ZERO
There’s no bloody answer nor any sign / indication that the student tried to answer. Pete looks at the name of the student who dared to pass a blank quiz paper:
NAME: AE INTOUCH | SECTION : 3-D | DATE : me please
Pete didn’t understand what’s going on or if this is a new prank of the student.
But Ae was the only one who didn’t answer.
He calls Ae and then Pete was now in front of the most mesmerizing eyes he had ever seen in his life.
Ae is short – or more like – because Pete is a tall man, Ae is a few centimeters short to his height of 181cm but Ae has body that Pete envies. Pete was born petite and well no matter how much he works out there’s no muscle in his body, he lose his baby fat but there’s no define abs and muscles, he is but a tall lanky boy whereas Ae even with his white uniform, you can see the buildup muscle and sturdiness in them. Pete wanted to have those muscles as well. But what made Pete frown and unsteady was the way Ae looks at him. Those eyes of Ae is so intense and looks at him as if he wants to kill him or eat him.
‘Mr. Intouch, you didn’t answer any question on the quiz.’
‘Ae.’
‘Huh?’
‘Call me Ae. Or Intouch. Drop the Mister.’
‘Okay... Ae. You didn’t answer any question on the quiz.’
‘I know.’
‘Why is that?’
‘To get your attention.’
‘Huh?’
‘Date me… please.’
And that was the start of Pete’s headache double with trouble from avoiding Mr. Ae Intouch’s advances.
Pete massage his temple and what a whirlwind one week, at first he was happy being accepted by his students and he didn’t see any problem especially they are all sweet and even though he is several years older than them, their sweet flirting is that – flirting to a new man in town. But the girls are very sweet and helpful so are the boys who usually helps him carry the books. But when Mr. Ae Intouch came into the picture he thinks he will have a heart attack before the end of his job.
Ae has been very forward to him. Those penetrating eyes are very intense and looks at him with so much hunger. He is not so naïve to not know what those looks indicate.
Ae has been asking him out and keep on staying on his faculty room and even asked him to teach him out loud – and so the other teachers can hear and he cannot turn him down. The Dean heard about it and told him, that it’s a good idea. Ae is the school’s representative in the football and is a very diligent student only he has problems in English and who was the best to teach/ tutor their promising student but him Pete.
So it becomes their schedule, after class, he and Ae will stay the library where he teaches the kid English. He doesn’t know if Ae is making fun of him, but Ae really doesn’t have any clue even basic English.
Ae kept on asking him out and even telling him that they are ‘fated’ that in their past life, Pete was his wife. Well still a man, but his wife. That they are partners and that Ae was the one who saves Pete’s life when Pete was walking and was about to hit by a car.
Ae told him, that they love each other, that the first time Ae said ‘I LOVE YOU’ to him was after the serenade he did and that even though they were separated for 3 years, Ae never forget about Pete and that both of them love each other.
Pete laughs and told Ae, ‘You can be a writer you know.’ Which earns him a glare from Ae that made his heart skip a beat.
Ae’s grades aren’t improving and it would cause him his place in the football team and so with what he has left he told Ae, ‘If you score 100 in all your exams we will date.’
Ae scores 100 in all subjects except English – he scores 79. It was really hard for him and Pete saw the determination and disappointed look in Ae’s face.
Pete grins and told the boy, ‘So where do you want me to date you? McDonald’s? KFC? A&W? Pizza Hut?’
‘What the hell are those places? Pete I may not be rich but I can afford to date you properly.’
‘How many time do I have to tell you, call me ‘Teacher’ you’re so stubborn.
‘Stubborn is my middle name.’
‘Oh really? Not delusional?’
‘Let’s meet tomorrow’
Pete was impress with Ae’s food choice. It was at Marriot Café at JW Marriott Hotel – one of the hotel his mother manages. Without any one’s knowledge.
It was a private room and Ae once again asked to be his lover.
‘Please Pete… please be Ae’s boyfriend.’
‘Ae. I’m sorry. But you are my student and I am several years older than you.’
‘You’re only 20 years old! And what does age have to do with it?!’
‘Ae. If you haven’t notice I am a man. Like you. And from what I gather you are not gay.’
‘Why do I have to be gay to be in love with you? If being in love with you means I’m gay then I am gay. I like you. I want you. I only love you.’
Pete can see the sincerity of Ae’s eyes and as someone older than him and thinks of this young boy’s future he have no choice but to turn him down.
‘Ae. Thank you for your love. But I cannot accept it. You’re young. You will meet someone beautiful and someone who will love you. I don’t feel the same-’
‘Liar. You love me.’
Pete was not able to counter the attack for its true.
Little by little he is falling in love with Ae. But this is Ae’s future. He will never do anything that will ruin that future.
It would kill him, but he’d rather die a thousand times than let Ae have his future tarnish because of him.
‘Ae. I don’t love you. Please don’t mistake my care and adoration for a little brother into love.’
‘Why are you lying to me? Why are you hurting us both?’
‘Ae. I don’t love you. I like you as my little brother. I am your teacher and I care about you all the same. Please don’t interpret my care for you as something as ridiculous as love.’
Pete said those words and get up and out of the hotel.
Several days after the exam and when they meet again, Ae no longer look at him with smile, longing and love. There’s anger and pain behind those beautiful obsidian eyes.
‘I’m sorry Ae… but this is for your future.’
Pete cries alone when he heard that Ae accepted a girl’s confession.

Jung Inc.
Jung Inc.
(Y/n) thought that her worst nightmare was over after the murder of her aunt, Hayoung. However, that is far from true now that Jung Hoseok has escaped prison. The accused now has five of the most intimate people to his case strapped in chains, demanding he be proven innocent before it’s too late.
Warnings: Mentions of murder & captivity. Future themes of blood, gore, and (possible) MCD
Chapter One
“Congratulations, you lucky five! I have hand selected each of you to help me kickstart my business into gear!”
I was shaking. My hands were bound in bracelet like chains that were connected to a desk. I could already feel my back sticking to the leather of an office chair from the cold sweat that formed while I was out. If I focused, I could remember what happened, but right now I was becoming parched at just looking at the man in front of the room. Even he was sweating through his plain white button up.
“Now.” His hands clapped together and I jumped. “I will give you each one box of documents to get started. All you have to do is transcribe them, sort them, and notify me when you’re done. However slackers will not be tolerated. I wanted only the best of the best!”
I gulped down a thick glob of my own saliva as he rolled a cart around. He slammed a file box in front of each of us. I sat at a corner, with someone across from me, and with someone next to me. I noticed how the man with sleek maroon hair only tried to smile and be upbeat. It made it even more unnerving in this situation.
He cleared his throat as he calmly walked back up to the front. He rolled the cart behind him and it was obnoxiously noisy as the wheels rattled.
“I’ll introduce myself. My name is Jung Hoseok. I’m the CEO, and you’re here to help me, okay? Just help me, and nobody will get hurt. I’ll provide you enough food and breaks - don’t worry. I’ll come back when lunch is ready, okay? It’s already past eight am, so let’s get to work!”
I watched as a boy jolted in his seat as Hoseok smacked the leather of the chair with cheer. We all seemed a little stiffened from this sudden action. We sat rigid and still as Hoseok slowly began to walk out of the room, the noisy cart following like a little pet. We were too afraid to say anything.
The heavy duty door shut with two clicks - locked. We were locked inside a single room, trapped to the desk with sturdy chains. We had a box by our stations, and there were computer screens staring us into our soul. I looked around to my blue-hued companions, and all of our eyes met as we silently tried to figure out what was going on.
We had one thing in common, however. We all knew who Jung Hoseok was.
“Where are we?” Someone’s voice croaked out. I looked to my left to see the only person on my side of the desk. The other three were sat on the opposite side. “What is happening?” Chains started to rattle as people began to haphazardly pull at them, testing their strength.
There was a loud gulp before a deeper voice rang out in the room, “It’s set up like an office. But...Jung Hoseok…”
Even sitting diagonal from the man who just spoke, I recognized him without shame. He had black rimmed glasses and clean cut hair. Even his voice exuded the amount of intelligence he had in his brain. He was a lawyer - one for prosecutions. He didn’t like to defend criminals, even if defense attorneys got more money.
“Kim Namjoon.” I spoke up in a shaky voice. I swallowed as I gained his attention. “Y-You’re the lawyer from the trial.”
His eyes could see me from over the computer, and there was a twinkle of sorrow in his eyes.
“Yes. That’s right. Who are you?”
I shook my head, “I’m..” I gulped as I looked down at my untouched keyboard. “(Y/n) (L/n).”
I squeezed my eyes shut at the sudden silence that took everyone’s breath away.
“I’m sorry…” Namjoon began, but I shook my head, wiping under my eyes as I looked up.
“No, it’s...I’m just thankful, I guess...that you were able to put him away, but --” I choked up as I looked towards the door.
How did Jung Hoseok get out of prison?
“No way…” Someone mumbled. As I cleared my vision of unfallen tears, I could see black hair. I calmed down as I tried to see if there was a connection. So far I only recognized Namjoon. “First the lawyer, then the victim? Aish...now it’s me.”
The man’s black hair bounced as his head hit the back of the chair.
“And who are you, exactly? We don’t exactly have times to be playing mystery games with each other. Let’s introduce ourselves properly - yes, I am Kim Namjoon, the prosecution’s lawyer in the case of the Republic of South Korea v. Jung Hoseok. And that over there is (Y/n) (L/n), niece of Kim Ha-young.”
Even now, when in such a corrupt and deadly situation, Kim Namjoon was still acting like a lawyer. Maybe he had been at it so long it developed into his personality. But maybe, his antics could get us somewhere and really help us.
“Okay, okay, Mr. Lawyer, let’s not be cool right now, we’re all scared. I’m Park Jimin. I was one of the lead journalists on the case - if you could even say that. There were at least a hundred of us trying to get our hands on it.”
“Park Jimin?” Namjoon suddenly scoffed, the blue light flickering off his glasses as he turned his head in disbelief. “The same who released those disrespectful pictures of the crime scene just to get more media coverage? How do you feel now that one of the victims are sitting in the same room, ah?”
Jimin sputtered as his chains pulled taut. He leaned over the computer screen and grabbed my attention with a look of open shock.
“Yah! That wasn’t me - it was the head corporate Lee Hye-Jin! He said we would all get bonuses if we got him those kinds of pictures! But it wasn’t me, I just benefitted from it. I swear - “
“Be quiet! Do you want that psycho to come back?! Sit down.” The boy with fluffy tan hair beside Jimin suddenly ticked. Jimin gave me an open mouthed expression of pity before plopping back down in the chair. My eyes were averted to the new stranger, who retained his looks, even after being through a struggle.
“My name is Kim Taehyung. I was an...old coworker of Hoseok. I don’t know why I’m here - I couldn’t even bear to follow the case. I just heard he was in prison and I was done with it.”
“What job were you coworkers with him?” Namjoon immediately leaned over to ask across the length of the desk. They were at total opposite ends of each other, speaking quietly as to not arise more suspicion.
Taehyung held up his head with his fingers as he sighed. He looked like he couldn’t be bothered at the moment, and was picking at the box before him.
“The current job he had when he committed the murder. His cubicle was right next to mine. I…”
I could see Taehyung’s expression flex as he looked down at the ground, completely away from Namjoon. Maybe I thought it was too tough for him to believe, but Namjoon saw more.
“Tell us everything, Taehyung. Do you want to get out of this?”
Taehyung only glared as he pulled on his chains as a threat. He leaned closer to Jimin to intimidate Namjoon.
“We get out of this if we play by his rules. He’s a very intricate man who likes his things in a particular order, so we should all just shut up and listen, and we’ll be fine.”
“We might.” Namjoon mused, but his tone turned dark, “But why would he let us go? He escaped prison - for what? What are we doing here and why are we the ones sitting at these desks? Sure, he might want revenge on me for putting him in prison. But why kidnap you, (Y/n), or a journalist like Jimin? Yah, who are you over there? Are you connected to this, too?”
Namjoon looked over to the man that sat next to me. He too, wore black hair, but in a different style than Jimin’s. He seemed to be the most scared in here, other than me, who couldn’t stop trembling at the very idea of Hoseok.
“I-I’m Kim Seokjin...I was Hoseok’s neighbor before...all of this. I was just about to move to my new address next week. I couldn’t stay there, next to a house where a killer lived. God, I don’t know why I’m here...He liked me, I thought he liked me, so I don’t...understand…”
Me and Seokjin were definitely in the same boat. Our voices couldn’t stabilize, we both were parched, and we both kept staring at the boxes in front of us, wondering what all of this meant.
Namjoon sighed as we all listened to Seokjin’s quivering breathes.
“At least we know that we’re all connected somehow...More so than others. It could be a coincidence. Jimin was just one of the many reporters, Taehyung was one of the many coworkers…(Y/n) was one of the live victims...It doesn’t seem to be all that random, though.”
“Then, then, then what’s with this bullshit? Huh? Boxes…” Taehyung mumbled to himself, straightening his posture as he began to dig through the messy files in his box. He took one out and rifled through it. The sudden ruffling of paper stopped as his breath hitched.
“What is it? Anything useful?” Namjoon questioned as he too took out a cramped file, about to open it when Taehyung spoke again.
“Police files. Like...official arrest reports.” Taehyung whispered as he softly began to page through the papers more intricately.
“No shit? Jesus…” Jimin sighed as he took one out as well, “What does he want us to do with all of these? I have report logs on evidence, but...these are all from different cases.”
The room went silent as I looked over to Seokjin. He was rigid in his chair, sweat creasing his bangs to his face as he shut his eyes. The good thing was that he wasn’t shaking anymore. His adam’s apple bobbed every time he swallowed, and his fingers pushed into the arms of his office chair.
As much as I didn’t want to, I took a file and whirred my computer to life. There was only one program installed on the blue screen, and it was Google Docs.

Chapter 2:
Lunch with Kyung-soo had been a good distraction from your close encounter of almost being the new human torch. As the two of you walked back to class and took your seats you checked your course schedule for the rest of the day. Kyung-soo, curious as well, looked over your shoulders to see what the two of you would have before you could finally get home and out of this place.
“Yo! You’re (f/n) right?” a man with permed brown hair said as he walked up to you.
“Yes, that’s me.” You said hesitantly. Almost instantly Kyung-soo stood up and moved to put himself between you and the newly arrived stranger.
“Since you seem to know me do you think you could tell me who you are?” As you asked Min-seok walked up next to the permed haired man and threw an arm around his shoulder.
“Jong-dae… maybe next time introduce yourself first?” Min-seok said with a playful nudge.
“Right… Sorry about that.” Jong-dae said as he scratched the back of his head. “I’m Kim Jong-dae! You already know my Kim bro here Min-seok. I hope we can get to know each other better through the year!” Jong-dae said playfully. “I sit behind yo…”
Before Jong-dae could finish Min-seok elbowed him in the side.
“Excuse us for one second (f/n).” Min-seok said as he dragged Jong-dae away.
“What was that about?” Kyung-soo wondered as he returned to his seat. “By the way, (f/n)…You won’t make heir friends and ditch me will you?” Kyung-soo looked away as he asked.
“Hmm… Now that you mention it.” You said playfully.
Kyung-soo looked at you stunned until you started bursting out with laughter.
“Hahaha…Don’t worry Kyung-soo. I would never ditch you.” You said as you gave his arm a squeeze.
“Jeez. Sometimes I can’t tell if you’re telling the truth or being sarcastic.” Kyung-soo said as he leaned back in his chair.
Just then you noticed Jong-dae and Min-seok make their way back towards you and Kyung-soo.
“Sorry about that brief interruption in our conversation (f/n). Jong-dae was trying to say that he sits a couple seats away from you.” Min-seok said as he motioned towards a desk a couple seats to the right of you. “I sit behind you so I look forward to working with you this year.” With a big blushing smile Min-seok sat down behind you as Jong-dae moved, unfamiliarly, to his new seat.
Just when you thought somethings were looking up the rest of your class began to file in from lunch. That’s when you noticed Park Chan-yeol, fireboy from your lunchtime close encounter, also walk in with his lackeys in tow. Almost immediately he took notice of you and walked over to where you were sitting.
“So now the top class gets dragged down by a bunch of non-legacies huh…” he said as he gave you a once over. His gaze immediately turned to Kyung-soo who was trying to keep a low profile. Chan-yeol began to approach Kyung-soo’s desk until you stepped in.
“It’s nice to meet you! I don’t think we’ve been properly introduced though. I’m (l/n)(f/n) also a new scholarship student here at Sudoxe.” You said trying to be as nice as possible.
As luck would have it Chan-yeol acknowledged your conversation with him and backed off his approach of Kyung-soo. Before Chan-yeol could say anything in return, however, Min-seok stepped between you and Chan-yeol.
“Chan-yeol, can’t you just leave the scholarship students in peace?” Min-seok said firmly.
“Oho… so the almighty Kim Min-seok thinks he’s better than the rest of us now does he?” Chan-yeol prodded. “Just because you defend them doesn’t change the fact that you once felt the same way I do about them you know.” Chan-yeol averted his gaze back to you. “Oh… didn’t you know. Your newly found ‘savior’ once hated non-legacies just as much as me.” He said, clearly trying to get a rise out of you.
Min-seok looked away from you, clearly ashamed of Chan-yeol’s truth.
“And?” You asked confidently. “People make mistakes, Heirs and non-legacies. Perhaps that’s the one thing that makes us all similar.” You said smiling at Min-seok who returned your smile with his beet red blush.
“Tch… If you think you and I are similar in anyway, think again.” He said as he kicked your desk and marched back to his seat, which was thankfully all the way on the other side of the room.
Reluctantly you fell back into your seat with a big sigh.
“Hey (f/n)… ” Min-seok said softly. “I promise I wasn’t going to be mean to you after gaining your trust!” Min-seok said hurriedly trying to get all his words out. “I really have changed promise!” Min-seok looked desperate for your approval.
“Hahaha…” you began to laugh. “Min-seok even if you changed your attitude towards non-legacies the moment you decided to save me, you still made a change… And how can I be mad at the person who literally saved me from being the next human torch?” You said playfully trying to lighten the mood.
Just as Min-seok was about to reply your teacher finally arrived and began prepping for his lesson. Min-seok sat back down quickly before tapping your shoulder.
“Thanks for trusting me.” He said before getting his notebook out.
Just as the day started, it ended and before you knew it the final bell had rung. You and Kyung-soo had survived your first day at Sudoxe. As you began to pack your things Kyung-soo walked over to your desk.
“(f/n), I never got your number he said as he subtly pulled his phone out of his pocket. I thought it might be good to have each other’s contact info… you know for homework or something.” Kyung-soo said nervously.
“Sure! I did say we should stick together after all.” With a big smile you pulled out your phone as well. You showed Kyung-soo your number so he could add it to your phone when you saw Min-seok fumbling with his phone in his hands. “Min-seok, did you want to trade numbers too?” You asked.
“Uh sure… I mean if you’re okay with that.” Min-seok said shyly. You showed your number to Min-seok when Jong-dae slid into the conversation taking down your phone number as well.
“(f/n), you don’t mind if I add you too do you? You know for homework or something.” He said as he smiled as he grinned at Kyung-soo who ignored his joking attitude.
“Hahaha. I guess I can’t say no now can I?” You replied to Jong-dae.
After everyone had exchanged numbers, even Kyung-soo who reluctantly gave up his to Min-seok and Jong-dae, you and Kyung-soo began to pack up your things to head home.
“Hey (f/n), mind if Jong-dae and I walk home with you and Kyung-soo?” Min-seok said nervously.
“(f/n), Minnie here is just a ball of nerves around you because he has a giant crus-.” Jong-dae said as Min-seok elbowed him in the stomach.
“Can it would you?” Min-seok said, once again beet red with blush. “I just meant it would be cool if we could ALL get to know each other better. Not just (f/n) but Kyung-soo as well.” Min-seok directed his attention to Kyung-soo who stood next to you by the door.
“It’s up to you (f/n). I’ll follow whatever you choose.” Kyung-soo said with a small smile.
“Then let’s all head home then!” You said as you began walking out of the classroom.
“Wait… Don’t you guys have people who are supposed to pick you up or something? I saw a lot of students get dropped off this morning by the gate.” You asked curiously.
“Min-seok and I do usually get a chauffeur home but today he really wants-.” Jong-dae was again elbowed by Min-seok who cut in.
“Jong-dae just doesn’t like exercise too much, RIGHT Jong-dae?” Min-seok said a bit aggressively.
“Well as long as walking with us doesn’t mess with any of your prior engagements then I don’t see a reason why we can’t all go home together.” You said happily.
With that said the four of you began your way out of the school grounds. You saw that the damage from Kyung-soo this morning was almost completely gone. Kyung-soo was relieved that he wasn’t called to the office after the events of this morning, though it may have been more because the school would have to acknowledge the acceptance of scholarship students as a PR stunt which would have been worse than just letting Kyung-soo off.
Walking home with your newly found friends was fun, especially Jong-dae constantly poking fun at Kyung-soo and Min-seok. It was as if all of you had known each other for years.
Your house was the first on the walk home. As it turned out Kyung-soo and you had moved into the same apartment complex because you both were at Sudoxe under the same scholarship.
“Well… I guess we’ll see you guys tomorrow.” Min-seok said as he said his good-bye to you and Kyung-soo.
Jong-dae also said his good-bye began to walk off just as Kyung-soo began to head upstairs. As you turned to follow him Min-seok grabbed your hand.
“Hey (f/n), about what Jong-dae said earlier… sorry if his poking fun at me bothered you.” Min-seok said apologetically. “I actually don’t live too far from here so we could walk to school in the morning too if you wanted. I mean if any of Chan-yeol’s lackeys showed up at least an extra hand would help you or Kyung-soo out of a pinch… I mean because you guys are new and-.” Min-seok began to ramble, eyes not facing yours until you finally cut him off.
“I would like that very much Min-seok. And I think Kyung-soo would like it too if you didn’t mind him joining us.” You said looking back at the stairs. “See you tomorrow morning then.” You said as you gave Min-seok a light peck on the cheek. “Oh and tell Jong-dae he’s welcome to come too.”
“Sure…” Min-seok said quietly as he held his hand to his cheek.
After you disappeared from sight Min-seok immediately turned to find that Jong-dae had completely bailed on him.
“Aish- that idiot.” Min-seok muttered to himself as his phone lit up with a text from none other than Jong-dae himself.
Jong-dae: “Dude just ask her out already ;P” Min-seok: “I literally just met her today… even if I like her it’s too soon!” Jong-dae: “LOL. I mean she is a total hottie ;) If you don’t hurry someone else Will ask her out before you get the chance. I mean just wait til you know who gets back from the U.S.” Min-seok: “I get it jeez…” Jong-dae: “Oh by the way…have you ever considered not being Sir Antisocial for like 30 seconds and actually initiate something with her. It’s actually kind of painful to watch.” Min-seok: (;¬_¬) Jong-dae: “Do you even know for sure she’s the girl you met all those years ago? It doesn’t seem like she remembers you.” Min-seok: “She definitely is. And even if she doesn’t remember me I can tell that she hasn’t changed.” Jong-dae: “Is that really a good thing? I mean if you’re into smaller girls I get it but…” Min-seok: “NOT HER SIZE JESUS JONG-DAE! Get your head out of the gutters would you.” Jong-dae: “Okay Okay” Jong-dae: “Uh-oh… you’re not gonna like this” Min-seok: “?” Jong-dae: “Partner assignments for lab have been released… Guess who (f/n) is paired with.” Min-seok: “Please don’t say Chan-yeol…” Jong-dae: “That would have been a blessing dude…At least with Chan-yeol your future boyfriendo status would have been safe.” Min-seok: “wait… Didn’t he transfer?!” Jong-dae: “Guess Mr. Stud himself has returned for round two of heart stealing.” Min-seok: “Jong-in…”
Hope you enjoy this chapter. Feel free to send me any of your thoughts on the chapters (cuz I am no bueno at writing and appreciate any feed back) even if it’s just to say you like the story ;)

Anon requested Ex-Boyfriend Wonwoo and Current-Boyfriend Mingyu where you’re about the meet the members of Mingyu’s idol group for the first time and have no idea that the figure from your past will be there. ANGST.
Mingyu has been so excited to introduce you to the members of Seventeen. He hasn’t stopped smiling since you joined up with him that afternoon, ready to grab a coffee and then swing by the practice rooms to meet them all for the first time.
The two of you haven’t been dating for very long, but you’re both very happy together. He almost makes you forget the pains of your last boyfriend- your high school boyfriend who broke your heart. Mingyu is so full of an innocent sort of joy with the best teasing, flirty edge. You can feel yourself falling in love with him day by day. So you’re smiling almost as much as he is as you follow him up the stairs to the Pledis building back door.
He stops abruptly before he opens it, so that you crash into his back.
“Sorry!” he says, turning and touching your face briefly to make sure you’re okay. “Sorry. I just… feel like this is a big moment. Ok. Ready?”
“Ready,” you promise, smiling.
He beams back at you and interlinks your fingers, and then flings open the door with a dramatic flair.
Inside, the boys are gathered, all twelve of them, looking up at your loud entry. And you know twelve was kind of a huge number, but it seems overwhelming as they all stand, bowing and saying hello and coming toward you.
The first to talk is the leader, Seungcheol, who Mingyu just raves about. He reaches out to shake your hand, and smiles a very warm smile.
“Y/N,” he says, and you feel almost like you’re meeting your boyfriend’s father. “We’re all so glad to properly meet you. Mingyu can’t shut up about you.”
“Aish, shh,” Mingyu says, smiling and blushy, and you grin at him, flattered.
“You can’t shut up, huh?”
“It’s true,” adds another voice. Jeonghan. He looks affectionate already. “But don’t stand there in the doorway- it’s cold out there and you’ll freeze! Come on in to the warmth!”
You laugh and let Mingyu lead you inside, past the bobbing heads of more of the boys, bowing back to them as you walk, and you both take a seat at the table. A few of the members start asking questions, wanting to know more about you. As a mention of your hometown sends one of them off on a story, you notice something. Someone.
Someone you never thought you would see again.
Jeon Wonwoo is standing at the back of the crowd. He’s staring at you like he’s been struck, and you feel your mouth pop open in surprise at the sight. It’s like lightning hitting you: his dark eyes, his hair now dyed brown and swept of his face somehow making his jaw look stronger. A jaw you’ve kissed along the edge of before.
Mingyu is laughing beside you, but you barely feel present. Suddenly you feel like a kid again. A high school kid standing in front of the boy who, at the time, was shattering your dreams of forever. You can still hear his voice.
“It’s not about whether I love you, Y/N.” he sounded so soft and sad. You remember him having the deepest voice in the class back then, and wonder if he still sounds that way, or if time has skewed your memories.
“Then what is it about?” you answered, crossing your arms, eyes filled with tears.
“It’s the rest of my life. I- I want to do it. I have to. I would never forgive myself if I gave up the opportunity for a high school relationship.”
“That’s all I am to you? Some temporary high school fling?”
“NO!” Wonwoo’s eyes had been so sad, but you had been too furious for that to stop you getting even angrier. “That’s not what I mean. You’re more to me than that, and you know it. But we have to be sensible.”
“Jeon Wonwoo,” your voice was mocking. “Always so sensible.”
And then you pushed past him and away. Even though he yelled for you to wait. Even though he yelled apologies and tried to follow. You made sure you got away in time.
You dodged every phone call and text and attempt to meet you at your house (though he was too respectful to do that more than once) and refused to let his friends pass on apologies and news of how much this hurt him. You couldn’t stand the idea of losing him - especially for a career - so much that you were determined to never think of him again.
Someone told you the day he moved away. You tightened your jaw and said you didn’t care. He was nothing to you now.
And you never saw him again. Never followed his career. Never checked up on him. Thought his face, his voice, his laugh, his stupid jokes, his incredible intelligence, were gone from your life forever.
Until now.
Wonwoo turns and pushes his way out of the room. He slams the door open in his haste and all the boys turn to look, wide eyed and confused.
“Was that Wonu?” Mingyu asks, sounding worried, having only seen the edge of his shoulder vanishing. “Why did he leave?”
“You don’t think he’s mad that we didn’t order his choice for dinner?” Vernon suggests.
“He wouldn’t storm out for that!” Seungcheol scoffs.
And they all begin to bicker about what on earth could be wrong with him.
You can see that Mingyu looks disheartened and worried. He’s still watching the door swinging on it’s hinges (because although Wonwoo threw it open, he was in such a rush that he didn’t close it after) as if his friend will reappear at any moment. He looks like he doesn’t know why he’s been abandoned at such an important time.
He reaches his arm round you and tugs you into his side, offering you and uncertain smile, which you return, trying to look normal, so stunned you don’t know what to do. But he seems comforted just to be near you. He settles with you there at his side, leans his head against yours, and starts to contribute to the bickering of the other boys.
You try to focus on the warm comfort Mingyu brings, try to start planning how to explain this to him when you’re alone again. But for some reason all you can think about now is the familiarity of the one who just left the room. It’s like your heart plunged right back to where it was before. Only now, there’s someone else in there as well.
The idea of losing either of them feels impossible. But it feels inevitable.
After all, how could this ever work out?
As Mingyu kisses the top of your head, you remember Wonwoo’s lips like a ghost that, for the first time in years, you find yourself unable to shake.

Suga The Carpenter || Two
Part 1
Status: ONGOING
Pairing: Min Yoongi x Reader + BTS Boys
Genre: Fluff, Hope, Smitten
Word Count: 2.3 K
Summary: You are an aspiring architect who dreams big and Yoongi is the realist, a carpenter whose road crosses with yours. Will your roads stay on the same course or will your dreams lead you to different destinations?
Your alarm clock started to ring and you turned to find out that it was already 7 AM. Leaning back in your chair, you recollected what had happened in the last 24 hours. You had gotten ready to fight for your dream job to only get rejected and humiliated in the end, had a small episode of faint bouts when you bumped into a strawberry-headed giant, proceeded to get off the wrong foot with a matte black-haired smirking statue, left a wood & design service shop with an offer of a totally different job scope and came back home. Suga said to come back in 3 days to prove your worth and you were on a roll. You picked up your cluttered things, setting them aside and pulled your shirt over your head. Heading to the bathroom and stepping under the showerhead, you let the water wet your hair whilst you take a breather from all the chaos of the past 24 hours. Once you were done, you got out with head-wrapped hair and jumped onto your double-size bed, letting the sunrays that sifted through your blinds kiss your skin. You sat upright, combing through your hair with your fingers. You were ready, you’ve never been readier to get someone's approval before.
Half an hour later, you walked down the same path that Jin had helped you go down smoothly; besides mistaking an ice cream parlour as your destination, and managed to find the tiny sign that said ‘Suga & Family. Co’ again. You knocked the door a few times to no response so you pushed it, finding it unlocked. As you came in, a pang of aromatic spices hit you and you breathed it in, following the imaginary swirl of the scent down the corridor and found yourself chuckling once you reached the kitchen where you found Jin, his back to you with a pink apron strapped on him. Jin turns around, holding a plate of minced meat that he had just cooked and nearly dropped it when his eyes met yours.
“Hello Jin! I didn’t want to disturb –” You said as your raised your hands up, excited to be there again but Jin grabbed your hands down and pressed a finger to his lips, shushing you.
“Y/n, does Suga know you’re here?” Jin asked, letting go of your hands.
“Not yet, where is he anyways? I’m back for the interview, or test, whatever you call it.”
“He’s still asleep. Did you call him to tell you were coming?” Jin continued, raising an eyebrow.
“Ah, I was supposed to, right? Will he mind that I came this early? I have all my things together and spent the last night sketching and-” You started but Jin cuts you in once again.
“Suga’s not fond of surprises. Especially when I use his credit card to buy more ingredients,” Jin thought for a moment and proceeded to imitate Suga ‘Salmon isn’t cheap. You can buy some earphones with all that money. Do you think money falls from the sky?’ Jin mimics and bends his knees to be slightly shorter to get near Suga’s height. You can’t help but laugh loudly and Jin shushes you again, faking anger. He keeps away the minced meat in the oven and takes off his apron. He grabs a piece of paper and pen and you peered over to see him writing in bold letters ‘DON’T TOUCH OR I, JIN, WILL KISS YOU’ which you can’t help but laugh at.
“Seriously though, Suga doesn’t like surprises and he won’t be awake anytime soon. So, let’s go for a walk.” Jin says as he takes his coat off the dining chair and leads you out.
“Ah,” Jin snaps his fingers once you both got out, you look at him waiting for a response. “Want ice-cream? There’s an ice-cream parlour-”
“Right down the road? I know, I thought it was Suga’s shop earlier.” You said as you both continued walking down and Jin belts out laughter that sounded like a car’s windshield wiper.
You both reached the ice-cream parlour, choosing your flavours and toppings. Once you both had received your cones, you chose a table to sit down at and Jin whipped out his phone and started texting. Being your curious self, you peered over before Jin caught you once again and called you nosy.
“Who are you texting?” you asked, taking another lick of your ice cream.
“Yah, we just met yesterday. How can I trust you?” Jin remarked, looking at you and up and down as a joke.
“You practically saved my life yesterday so I trust you a lot,” you said pointed out and Jin did a superhero stance, making you laugh again.
“It’s just a group chat that the boys and I are in.”
“The boys?” You head lolled to the side.
“Yeah, ‘Suga & Family.Co’ has family in it. You should know that it’s plural. Aish, so dumb.” Jin shook his head, making you slap his arm lightly.
“Yah! That hurt,” Jin pouts, “but yeah. We all somehow met each other 5 years ago and since then we’ve been like a family. There’s actually seven of us.”
“There’s seven of you?” you asked, not hiding your reaction in time and Jin leaned back.
“Yeah, why? The shop may look small but we can fit 7 tall boys in there okay.” He said, looking a bit confused.
“No, no. Just that when I met you and Suga yesterday, you quys are pretty-”
“Handsome? I know.” Jin rests a hand under his chin. “But don’t be greedy y/n, you’re already eyeing one of us so that’s enough.” Before you could reply, the parlour’s door opened and a tall boy walked in, wearing a black hoodie and loose jeans. He was walking over to you and Jin before taking a seat next to Jin and now it was your turn to be confused.
“Y/n this is Jungkook, Jungkook this is y/n. He’s the youngest and, also the ugliest.” Jin said casually, earning a glare from Jungkook.
“Says the fat one.” Jungkook snarled and snatched Jin’s ice-cream cone away, eating up the rest of his ice-cream hurriedly whilst leaning away as Jin protested, trying to get his dessert back. You could only laugh at the two of them bantering and once Jungkook had ate it all, wiped his mouth with the back of his sleeve; to which he earned a disapproving look from the Hyung and introduced himself to you.
“Go get me another cone! You’re so rude, Kookie.” Jin exclaimed and they started bickering again when Jin’s phone started to ring. He picked it up and made a gesture to Jungkook to keep quiet.
“Yeah? No. I’m out at the parlour. Ah, okay.” Jin said into the phone and then turned to you.
“We can go back now. You ready to go against Jungkook?” Jin asked you and you nodded, feeling anxious yet excited at the same time. You both got up to leave, leaving the confused Jungkook trailing behind, asking Jin about what was going on.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jin knew that Suga hated surprises but for some reason, he kept bringing home another surprise every day. That was what went through Suga’s mind when Jin had walked in with you by his side with Jungkook following behind. But now it was three hours later and he didn’t know if he was still disturbed by the constant unannounced presence of you. Suga had told Jungkook to get one of his blueprints that was a design of the one of the future planetariums in Gangnam. When Jungkook rolled it out on the drawing table, Suga had noticed how entranced you look. You had eyed Jungkook’s drawing and realized that Jungkook was not your average intern but more than that, someone with talent and an eye for perception and space. Suga noticed you shift your weight nervously as you sat at the drawing table, focused on the task in front of you. In your head, different ideas sprouted in your mind when Suga gave you the task to draw out a space for a learning hub. You had loved how vague and general the task was and knew that Suga wanted to not only test your skills but creativity as well. So, you went all out, giving some of your best ideas till your hands hurt. You felt that Suga was staring at you but you didn’t want to turn around, not wanting to encounter another awkward stare-off.
“I’m done.” You said, leaning back and stretching your arms.
“You sure?” Suga asked, voice lacking any emotion. He walked over, only taking a few strides before he leaned into your drawing. You inched away slowly as his face was right next to yours and you cleared your throat.
“You should bring this hangar up higher because the depth of it could throw off your whole scene. You don’t need that many entrances and why a low ceiling when you have the means to make it higher? Also, I don’t think this interlink is necessary.” Suga pointed out, ranting on till Jungkook walked past the both of you and looked over.
“I like how it is. I say yes.” Jungkook said to you.
“Yes, to what?” Suga asked, looking to over to Jungkook.
“In hiring her.” Jungkook smiled and you thanked him.
“Did I hear someone say y/n is hired?” Jin asks, walking in and shooting you’re a grin.
“Is no one going to ask for my opinion on it?” Suga exclaims, looking at the two men.
“Well, what do you say Yoongi?” Jin looks at Suga, expecting an answer.
“Yoongi?” You asked, confused.
“Yoongi is his real name. We call him Suga just as a nickname though,” Jin explained. “So Yoongi, what do you say?”
“Well, I don’t mind.” Suga says and upon hearing that, you immediately felt as if Suga had disregarded your work for the sake of the others approval. You got up off the chair and turned Suga to you.
“No.” You stated and all three men looked at you at the same time, all three with different expressions.
“No?” Suga asks.
“If you’re going to hire me, I want you to say it properly and tell me why. Hand me a contract so I can sign and then I’ll take you all out for a celebratory dinner.” You crossed your arms across your chest whilst Jungkook and Jin were hollering at the back at the news of free dinner.
“You just lost your job didn’t you? How’re you going to pay for dinner for the 8 of us?” Suga raises an eyebrow.
“Take it out of my new paycheque then. Meaning you pay for tonight.” You smiled and took out your hand.
“Fine.” Suga took your hand into his and shook it firmly, letting go quickly before sliding them into his pockets.
You smiled gleefully as Jin and Jungkook both hugged you and you hugged them back. You noticed Suga walking away and then coming back a few minutes later with a contract. He took out a pen from his back pocket and handed it to you.
“Welcome to the family.” Suga said.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It wasn’t long till you met the rest of the boys that night. You were taken aback by how naturally good looking they all were and felt a bit regretful for not trying to dress better today. The boys were too tired to go out and eat that night so you all had agreed to order in some pizza. Everything was going smoothly, at least for you. Suga on the other hand felt unease because of three things. One; he was kissed on the cheek by Jin for eating Jin’s minced meat, two; he had to use his credit card again to pay for dinner, much to Jin’s amusement and three; he knew he had just met you but he felt something more. He couldn’t figure out what it was but he knew that to get rid of this feeling, he had to somehow get you alone. His plan of trying to talk to you alone didn’t work out in the end, as trying to get a lengthy conversation with you was hard as there were 7 other boys who would cut in asking if you wanted more food or questions about yourself. Suga had given up around midnight, after locking himself away in his room to get back to work. He opened his door, looking around as the place got unusually quiet. He walked into the tiny living room and sighed. You were all sprawled across the room, snoring away. Jungkook and Jin were both on the couch, Namjoon was snoring on one of the single chairs and Hoseok, Taehyung, Jimin and you were spread on the floor. Suga went to the cupboards, taking out a few blankets and carefully placed it on each and every one of you. Suga couldn’t tell you were awake, as you watched him go to each member to cover them with a blanket.
‘So he’s not all that cold.’ You thought. You shut your eyes quickly when Suga came closer to you. You felt the soft blanket being put on you slowly. You could feel his eyes on you and heard him sigh. After a couple of seconds, you felt him moving, about to get up when you muttered sleepily.
“Thank you, Suga.” You said, raising your eyes to meet his and mutter a small welcome.
“Why’re you awake?” He asks.
“I’m not really a good sleeper.” You admitted.
“Sad.” Suga managed a small smile. “Do you want to watch another movie then?” he asks.
“Not tonight. Maybe next time.” You yawned and Suga felt his heart beating harder. He nodded and got up to leave.
“Goodnight, Yoongi.” You said softly, not wanting to wake the others up.
Suga stopped in his tracks when you called him his real name. He turned sideways a bit before going into his room.
“Goodnight, y/n.” Yoongi said softly, but loud enough for you to hear.

Misunderstandings (Taehyung x Reader)
Request for @thatfangurltho!
Prompt:
When you said you needed a favor, this was the last thing Namjoon had in mind.
“I’m gonna need you to fake propose to me.”
“Um…”
“Look it’s just for this dinner with my parents! They told me at my sister’s wedding last year that if I wasn’t engaged within the year they were going to set me up with someone. I can’t go through that!”
“You can’t just bring me and say we’re engaged?”
“No, they’re too smart for that; they watch my social media like a hawk and they’d want to know why I hadn’t posted anything about it…”
“They sound scary…”
“That’s cause they are! I’m sorry I’m asking you to do this, but can you please just help me out?”
“Why me though? You’re friends with all the members.”
“We have the most pictures together on instagram, and the fans already think we’re dating so it’d be a perfect lie to my parents!”
“You’ve really thought of everything…Do you even have a ring?”
“You know it~”
“You’re just as scary as your parents…” You playfully smacked Namjoon’s arm as he laughed and held it in mock-hurt. “So when’s this dinner?”
“Tonight…”
“(Y/N)!”
“Sorry…pick me up at six!” You took off running before Namjoon could scold you, grabbing your keys off the kitchen counter at the boys’ dorm and rushing out the door. You swung it open to reveal Taehyung standing on the other end, keys in hand. He quickly looked up in confusion and shock before his eyes warmed as they settled on your face.
“Oh hey (y/n)! Are you leaving?” Taehyung slightly pouted when he noticed your car keys in your hand.
“Y-yeah, I’ve got to go get ready for a dinner with my parents.” You shyly looked at Tae’s feat, too embarrassed to maintain eye contact with the handsome man for too long.
“Oh that sounds fun! I didn’t know they were in town. Are we still on for video games tomorrow?” You looked back up at Tae to see him smiling warmly and you gladly reciprocated the gesture.
“Yeah of course! I’ll see you then okay! I’m bringing all my favorite games~” You moved past Taehyung and down the hall, giving him one final wave before you turned around.
“See you (Y/n)!” He shook his head and chuckled at how cute you were, closing the door behind him as he settled into the dorm. Suddenly, Namjoon ran up in font of him looking slightly panicked.
“Did she just leave?”
“Who (y/n)? Yeah she—“
“Aish!” Namjoon ran his hand through his hair looking stressed out. “That girl…I guess I’ll just call her then.” Namjoon mumbled to himself.
“Did she leave something? I can go get her—“
“No that’s not it, she’s just…she’s just a handful is all.” Namjoon smiled at Tae, the other male giving him a look saying “I understand completely.” The two burst into laughter at the telepathic communication between them.
“Ah, anyways, hyung, what are you doing tonight? I know we’re all free so I thought we could all get something to eat!”
“Sorry Tae, I’ve got dinner plans already it seems…”
“Really? (Y/n)’s gonna be busy too, and I was going to invite her…” Tae’s face looked a little downtrodden. “But,” he perked up, “I get to see her tomorrow~” Tae grinned like mad at Namjoon, excitement pouring from his features. Namjoon was the only one of the members who knew about Taehyung’s crush on you. The others figured something was up, but Namjoon was the only one he officially told, hoping his hyung would be his “wingman.” Suddenly Namjoon was all too aware of the situation he had been put in, guilt starting to tear away at him. He had to make sure Taehyung never found out about tonight, even if his intentions were pure.
“That’s great man,” Namjoon tried his best to smile like he wasn’t hiding a big secret, “You gonna tell her how you feel tomorrow?” Namjoon wiggled his eyebrows at his dongsaeng, causing the younger man to get flustered and cover his face.
“What! No! I don’t even know if she likes me back.” Tae peeked out from between his fingers, frowning at Namjoon.
“Well you’ll never know unless you ask right?” Namjoon patted Taehyung on the back. “I’ve gotta get ready for tonight, but we’ll talk about this later. If you don’t want to outright ask her, you have to test the waters, see if she’s interested.” Namjoon sent him a final smile before stalking off to his room wondering what he should wear to impress his fake-girlfriend/future-fiancé’s parents.
That’s a mouthful…
Namjoon pulled up in front of your place, texting you that he was outside.
From (Y/n):
You’re not going to walk me to your car :(
He laughed at your antics before sending a reply.
To (Y/n):
You do realize we’re not really dating right?
He heard your front door slam causing him to whip his head up to see your figure marching like mad to his car before throwing the door open.
“I know that! You could still be a gentleman!”
“Eh, don’t feel like it~” Namjoon shrugged while smiling cockily. He loved teasing his best friend.
“Now I’m starting to see why we’re going to fake break up!” You were being overdramatic on purpose; you knew it made him laugh.
“Just get in the car you drama queen!” You were both laughing now as you climbed into the car. You plopped the ring box onto the center console, motioning to it with your hand, urging Namjoon to take it. He grabbed it gingerly, opening it and gasping at the ring inside.
“I didn’t buy it for tonight, I’ve actually had it for a while. It was for a music video I helped shoot. They had several extras of the same prop, so they let me take it home. It’s a fake but only a jeweler would be able to tell.” You noticed Namjoon looking at you funny before he started up the car and made his way to the street. “What’s with that face?” You chuckled slightly.
“I can’t believe we’re not the only group you help shoot videos for…I feel like I’ve been cheated on.” You let out a loud laugh.
“Who’s being melodramatic now?”
“I kid, I kid~ We’re still your favorites though right?”
“Of course~”
“Good. I think I speak for all of the members when I say we want you to stick around for a long time.”
Your mom got up from the table once she saw you, making her way over to you and enveloping you into a big hug.
“Sweetheart it’s so good to see you! Skype calls are not enough, I want to hug you like this everyday~”
“M-mom, please.” You struggled to breathe, embarrassed by your mom’s reaction and hoping to god Namjoon wouldn’t tease you about it later. As your mom pulled away from you, you noticed your dad standing by the table smiling; he had always been more reserved than your mother. You noticed your mom staring at Namjoon now, the look on her face telling you she definitely recognized him from your instagram (though she would vehemently deny it).
“Who’s this dear?”
“Oh this is my boyfriend,” the word tasting strange on your tongue as you grabbed Namjoon’s arm and tugged him towards you, “Namjoon.” You smiled sweetly hoping your mom would buy it.
“You have a boyfriend? How come you never talk about him?” She looked at you disapprovingly.
“Well it’s a long story, but let’s sit down first okay?” You noticed your dad’s embarrassed face hoping your mother wasn’t causing a scene in the middle of the restaurant. They were truly like night and day. You walked over to your dinner table, arm linked into Namjoon’s. He unraveled himself from you for a moment to shake your father’s hand and introduce himself properly.
Oh now we’re being a gentleman?
He did the same with your mother, pulling out her chair for her before she sat down and making sure he did the same for you. He was showing off. Normally you would tease him about it, but you were grateful in this situation; he was gonna make you look good in front of your parents.
“Namjoon, “ you gestured to your “boyfriend” beside you, “Is a pop idol, so there are many things he can’t release to the public. For instance: dating me.”
“It’s not like I’m ashamed of your daughter, on the contrary I care about her very much, but our fans can get crazy, so we were worried she’d face severe backlash on social media.” Namjoon gave your parents an apologetic smile.
“I understand completely!” Your mother smiled wide at Namjoon, and if you didn’t know any better, you’d say she was smitten with him. “(Y/n)’s worked with celebrities before, so we know how it is.” Your father nodded, taking a sip of his drink.
The rest of the night went swimmingly, Namjoon playing his part perfectly; it’s too bad you didn’t have a crush on him. Just then, Namjoon excused himself from the table, your mother watching his back until he was completely out of sight.
“He seems nice, and his Englsih is very good! But…”
“But?” You started to sweat, thinking she had found you out, but you were surprised when your father spoke up.
“You’re not dating that Taehyung boy?”
“W-what? Taehyung? Have you been stalking my social media again?” You were flustered, but tried to mask it with anger, putting on an accusatory tone.
“Regardless of whether we have or have not, we see the way you look at him in your photos. We always assumed Namjoon was just a friend.” You mom looked at you concerned, she was always a nosy worrywart.
“It’s Taehyung who’s just a friend…he’d never think of me like that…”
“Aw sweetheart, I didn’t mean to upset you. Hey, Namjoon’s a swell guy and I’m sure he makes you very happy!” She smiled at you, almost imperceptibly nudging your father under the table, though you could tell by the way he jerked suddenly.
“Yes, Namjoon is certainly a catch, but if he hurts you, you let me know.”
“Daddy!” Your father just laughed at how flustered you got, dodging the napkin you threw at him. Namjoon soon came back and slid into his seat, looking a little suspicious. You squinted at him dubiously before you realized what he probably left the table to do. He noticed you staring and sent you a smile that said, “Put on your acting face, cause here we go!” Suddenly, a waiter came over to the table carrying a fancy box, your parents looking at him in confusion.
“What’s all this about?”
“Just delivering a specialty cake to the beautiful young lady at this table, but now I’m having trouble figuring out which one she could be~” Your mother swished her hand in the direction of the waiter, covering her face with the other hand as if to say, “Oh stop it you!”
“So which one of you lovely ladies is (Y/n)?” You timidly raised your hand.
“That would be me.” You looked at the waiter, putting on an ignorant façade, “But we didn’t order any desert.” He set the cake in front of you, his face warm yet mischievous.
“No? Well, I wouldn’t throw good cake away if I were you, at least take a look~”
“Oh,” you let out a tiny giggle, “alright then.” You slowly opened the box in front of you and let out a gasp, covering your mouth with your other hand.
“Dear, what is it?” You mother tried to peek over to see what had caused you to react that way. When she saw the cake, she of course had the same reaction.
“Will you marry me?” She read the words off the cake and looked at Namjoon with wide eyes as he got down on one knee, pulling the ring you gave him out of his pocket.
“I know it’s sudden, I had been planning on giving this to you later, but when you asked me to go to dinner with your parents tonight, I knew it was now or never.” You looked around to see not only your parents staring at the two of you, but also the entire restaurant. Even the wait staff had stopped what they were doing to take in the scene. “(Y/f/n), will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?”
Here goes nothing
“Oh my god Namjoon, yes! Yes, yes! A million times yes!” You put on the most excited reaction possible, lending Namjoon your hand as he slipped the ring on your finger, it was a little too big but you made it work. He stood up and hugged you while the whole restaurant cheered for you. However, when the two of you broke away from each other, someone from the crowd yelled something in Korean, which you translated in your head immediately, the blood draining from your face. Your parents looked at Namjoon expectantly, as the whole eatery began chanting what the man had shouted.
“They uh, they want us to kiss.” He said sheepishly, clearly uncomfortable, but your parents thought it was for a completely different reason.
“Well go on!” You were taken aback upon hearing those words come out of your father's mouth. “You have my permission, kiss her!” The two of you laughed nervously as you slowly turned to look each other in the eyes, both of you desperate to find a way out of this. But you dug this hole, and now you had to crawl out of it. Leaning forward, you closed your eyes, your lips meeting Namjoon’s while you desperately tried to pretend it was someone else you were kissing. Namjoon’s lips melted into yours; on the outside the kiss looked very romantic, but the two of you could tell it was full of empty emotions. You pulled away first, burring your face in Namjoon’s chest in sheer embarrassment while the restaurant cheered once more.
The car ride back to your place was…awkward. In front of your parents you had to play the happy couple, but now that you were alone the façade melted away.
“I didn’t think about that.” You spoke up first. “I didn’t think that far at all, I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine.”
“No, it’s really not! Namjoon, I like you being my friend and I don’t want to ruin that by making you uncomfortable around me!”
“You didn’t—That’s not why—ugh.” He took one hand off of the steering wheel and rubbed his face. “I betrayed someone else by doing that. People kiss their friends all the time (Y/n), but people don’t kiss their friends’ crushes.” Namjoon’s hand covered his mouth now; his eyes wide realizing what he just let slip out.
“What do you mean?” You looked at him shocked, “Does someone you know have a crush on me?”
“More like someone we know. Ah, I’ve said too much! Just pretend you didn’t hear anything, and more importantly, pretend tonight never happened. I can’t let him find out, he’d be heartbroken.”
“Okay…” You looked out the window, feeling more confused than ever. Namjoon noticed the sour mood and tried to lighten things up.
“Hey, we did good though yeah? They really believed us! Maybe I should be an actor~”
“In your dreams Kim Namjoon!”
Your talk with Namjoon last night helped you feel better about the situation, but you still wondered who it could be that had a crush on you.
He told me to forget about it though…
However, you’ve never been too good at listening. You were still going over the “facts” on your way to the boys’ dorm, wondering if it might be one of the members. You shook your head both physically and metaphorically, trying to get the silly idea out of your head as you stood in front of their door. You lifted up your hand to knock on the barrier, your knuckles making a soft sound against the wood. Before you could even bring your hand back down to your side, the door swung open, revealing a very excited Taehyung, his mouth in a wide-open smile.
“(Y/n)! You’re here!” You giggled at his cute face.
“I’m here~” You repeated back to him, giving him a nervous smile hoping he couldn’t see your flushed cheeks.
“Come in!” He ushered you inside before pointing to the bag you had slung around your shoulder, “Are those your games? How many did you bring? Let me take that for you.” You handed him the bag and chuckled when he found out how heavy it was the hard way.
“I told you I’d bring all my favorite games!”
“I never knew you’d have so many, oof!” You laughed watching him struggle with your bag while he walked to the game room. “You brought this thing all the way here? How?”
“Psht, I work out!” You jokingly flexed for him, showing him your impressive arm muscles. You had to move around a lot of heavy equipment regularly, so strength was a necessity in your line of business. You watched him set down the bag in awe, walking over to you so he could inspect your arms closer.
“Woah,” His closeness made your face heat up considerably, but what he said next threw you into a tizzy. “Could I touch them?” He looked at you, clearly impressed.
“Uh…sure?” How could you say no to that face? His fingers grazed your arms, squeezing lightly to test out your arm’s firmness.
“Wow, seriously (Y/n), this is impressive!”
“You think so?”
“Yeah! Wouldn’t want to meet you in a dark alley~” You laughed, lowering your arm as his fingers left, slightly missing the warmth they brought. He held up his arm and flexed.
“You can grab mine too if you want, so we’re even.” He winked playfully at you, having no idea what his actions were doing to your heart.
“Haha, okay.” You nervously walked over to him, grabbing his arm in the same way he had done to you. You were to engrossed in his bulging muscles to hear him take a sharp intake of breath as you touched him. Poor Tae was trying his best to restrain himself, knowing you had no idea how bad he wanted to kiss you right then and there. You pulled away and looked at him incredulously.
“I don’t know why you made such a deal about my muscles, look at yours! Now I’m starting to see why you guys have so many fangirls~”
“Now?” You laughed at Tae’s cute pout, turning around and reaching for your bag, opening it and grabbing the first game you saw.
“I’m sure you’ve heard of this one, it’s pretty famous and one of my all time favorites!” You held up Portal 2 to Taehyung, his heart pounding at the excitement written on your face as you spoke. “Now the story mode is single player, but there’s a multiplayer secondary game where you get to play as two robots! Do you want to play it?” You could have brought the most boring game in the world and Taehyung still would have played it with you, just to see that look on your face. He had to stop himself from answering with, “Anything for you,” settling with a simple, “Sure,” instead.
You two had been playing games for a few hours when Tae’s phone buzzed. You paused the game and he picked up his phone, brows furrowing at the screen.
“What’s up?”
“Someone tagged us in a video on twitter…” Tae unlocked his phone to view the quick video, thinking it might have been from one of their concerts or something, but boy was he wrong. You watched as Taehyung’s eyes widened in shock and anger, the only clue to what he was watching was the various shouting coming from the video as it played. It sounded familiar, but you couldn’t quite place it.
“Tae, what’s wrong?” He didn’t even look at you as he got up and stalked angrily out of the room, his body tense. You quickly followed after him, waling into the living room just in time to see him shove Namjoon’s chest roughly.
“Whoa hey! What’s going on?” You were completely ignored however, as Tae continued to let his frustrations out on his hyung.
“I am one hundred and sixty-seven POINT three centimeters of pure muscle; I can and will take you down beanstalk!” You would have laughed at the odd statement had it not been for Taehyung’s incredibly angry aura.
“Tae, aren’t you like a hundred and seventy-nine centimeters according to the fansites?” You countered, though completely ignored once again by everyone except Jungkook.
“Our fans love to embellish things.” He mumbled from the couch, his nose buried in a book, completely numb to the situation happening directly in front of him.
“What the hell Tae? What’s this about?” Namjoon sneered at him, clearly pissed off.
“It’s about this!” Taehyung shoved his phone in Namjoon’s face, the video still playing having looped back to the beginning. Namjoon’s jaw was slack as he looked to Tae and then you, guilt and horror etched onto his features. You just looked back confused until Taehyung spoke up again. “You were dating? You knew how I felt and you never even told me? How could you do this to me?!” Jungkook had abandoned his book at this point, holding Tae’s arm as he tried to swing a punch at Namjoon. You finally understood what Taehyung saw, but what you couldn’t understand is why he was so angry about it...
“Oh my god, did someone record us at the restaurant last night? You’ve got to be kidding me! How are we gonna break it to the public that we’re not really engaged?” Tae finally acknowledged you this time, his back relaxing as he turned to look at you, utter confusion written all over his face.
“Wait what…” You stuck your head in your hands before looking up to explain to Jungkook and Taehyung what was really going on.
“I had a dinner with my parents last night, and to keep them from setting me up with someone I barely know I had to convince them that I was engaged, and what better way than to have someone propose to me right in front of them. Ugh, but now they’re going to know it was all a sham!”
“But you kissed—“
“Ugh I know! They wouldn’t stop chanting it! I just wanted to crawl into a hole…”
“Why didn’t you ask me? I could have been your fake fiancé.”
“Because…” Namjoon and Jungkook were shuffling out of the room at this point, trying to give to two of you your privacy, both very aware of the conversation that was about to happen.
“Because why?”
“Well why were you so mad about it in the first place? What does it matter if I kiss Namjoon?”
“Because I’m jealous.” Taehyung was moving closer to you with every word he spoke, finally stopping once his face hovered inches away from yours.
“What—“
“I want to be the one kissing you.” Your eyes widened as scarlet dusted your cheeks, too lost in his confession to do anything other than stare back into his eyes. His fingers traced your jaw as he tilted it upwards, your mouth parting in response. In a moment his lips were on yours, soft and sweet as he cradled your face in his hands. You moved against him in perfect synchronization, every peck and nip adding to the fire blossoming in your chest. His tongue moved against your lips and you gladly gave him what he desired, opening your mouth for him and deepening the kiss. You were so lost in each other, you barely heard Jungkook come back in the room until he spoke up.
“So like, are you guys together now?” Tae responded by taking a pillow off the couch and chucking it in Jungkook’s direction, turning back to you smirking.
“Now, where were we?”

Twirls pt2 (Rocky x Reader)
Part 1 can be found here :))) This is too long though, it consists of 1.8k words TT
Weeks passed by and you still can’t forget the mystery behind the sweater. You’ve also been creeping yourself out that some ‘ghost’ or a ‘creature’ put it there for you.
“Maybe it was our manager? Have you tried asking her about it?”
You shook your head as your co-trainees facepalmed at you. “Well you should! You’ve also been creeping us out with your assumptions you know!” You just laughed at what she said. “Okay, sorry. My fault.”
Just as all of you stood up to start practicing again, your manager walked in to your practice room. “Hey girls!”
“Hi manager-nim!” You all bowed at her and smiled. She also smiled at you as she asked how everything was. Training days were getting difficult especially when evaluation day comes. Fortunately, most of you can cope up with training and you each share one goal, and that is to debut together.
“I have a surprise for you today.” You all looked at each other as the previous surprise your manager had for you didn’t go very well; you just performed a random play dance and it was a mess. But good thing it wasn’t part of the evaluation process.
“I hated surprises ever since that day, manager-nim!” Your unnies whined and you just nodded your head, agreeing with them. Your manager laughed as she cleared her throat.
“Kidding aside, I want you to work on a project. Based on the results that we’ve evaluated decides who will be assigned as your partner on this project.” You immediately looked at each other, slowly getting excited and anticipating what will happen.
“But wait, you’re not going to work with each other.” As your manager said that, you exchanged confused faces as she gestured to the door. You all looked and much to your surprise, all six members of Astro walked in.
Your team resisted on squealing as your talented seniors stood in front of you. You and your group bowed a 90-degree one, “Annyeonghasaeyo, sunbae-nim!”
It was now their turn to greet. “Wanna be your star! We’re Astro!” You still cannot believe that your seniors, especially him, were standing in front of all of you.
“They’re going to be your partners for the said project. I’ve asked their manager about this and he agreed. We believe that they can help you in honing your skills. Get acquainted with each other first as I get your results. And boys?!” Astro turned to your manager who is looking intently at them.
“Be nice. Arraseo?!” The six boys stood straight and all shouted, “Yes!”
They all turned to the six of you as an awkward atmosphere appeared. But MJ being MJ, the happy virus and the eldest of the group started talking, all of you got in the comfortable mood.
You introduced yourselves one by one and when it came to you, “You’re the one who covers Rocky-hyung’s choreos, right?”
A faint strike of red spread across your face as almost all of the pair of eyes inside the room looked at you. “A-Ah... y-yes... I’m Y/F/N.” Why does he have to remember that instead? Save me!
“Your covers were so good and smooth! How’d you do that?!” You slowly lowered your head as you send an emergency look to your unnies. You were really shy and you don’t know how to answer them plus, you’re not the kind of person who wants to be a center of attention.
And just in time, your manager walked in. You all lined up properly to listen to her announcement. It came down to the fourth one and your name hasn’t been called yet.
“...Jinjin and U/N and our last pair would be Rocky and Y/N.” You didn’t even heard the rest of your manager’s words as you still let the information of Rocky being your partner sink in your mind.
“Y/N? YN? Are you uhm, okay?”
You snapped out of your thoughts as Rocky waved his hand in front of you. You blushed slightly as you nodded. “Yes uh, sorry.”
Rocky grinned shyly as he scratched the back of his neck. “So uh…” He introduced himself as an individual and also you. The both of you sat down and get to talk about yourselves and you discovered how the both of you share the same interests and thoughts into things.
“Let’s call it a day, Y/N! It was nice meeting you.” He grinned at you as he stood up and stretched. You followed suit and went to your own practice rooms. As you entered the room, you can’t hide the smile on your face as your fellow members tease you about it.
“Wide smile you got there, Y/N!” One of them shouted followed by coos of cheering.
“Aish, stop it, unnies!” You laughed it off and changed the topic to practicing. You didn’t notice it was getting late at night as your choreographer dismissed you. Your unnies immediately packed their things but you on the other hand, went for the sound system and played some music.
“Y/N.” The oldest one called you with a warning tone. You just grinned widely and others just shook their heads at you. You waved goodbye and started practicing on your own.
“This routine’s really hard!” You suddenly shouted as you rolled on the floor, looking at your haggard (yet still beautiful) face. You looked at the watch and realized it’s almost 2 in the morning. You stayed silent for a while and closed your eyes, falling asleep in the process.
And just in time, someone sneaked inside the room where you are in. The person sighed at the side of you but gently smiled and placed something beside you. He left the room with a smile plastered on his face, shaking his head.
You woke up moments later and turned to the side, your arm bumping to something cold. You cleared your eyes and saw a bottle of cold drink with snacks. You sat up and took notice of a post-it note on the drink.
“Don’t stress yourself too much! You’re already great and talented!” It was just a simple note yet it made you smile really wide.
--
The snacks and notes kept on coming. When you took a break outside the building, you came back with the same snacks on top of your bag. Even if you just went to the restrooms, there’re simple notes you can find on the place or seat you left. You told your co-trainees about it but they shook their heads saying it wasn’t them, and teased you for having someone as a secret admirer.
One time, as you were practicing with Rocky, you can’t focus as you kept on thinking about the snacks and notes you always see. Is it the same person who covered me with a green sweater before? Who is he? Or she? Why does that person do it? Did I do---
“Y/N. Y/N!” you felt someone shook you by the shoulders and found Rocky looking at you with a concerned face. “Are you okay? You seem pale and out of focus.”
“Ah, sorry, sunb—I mean R-Rocky.” Even if you are already friends and took a lot of practices together, you still can’t familiarize yourself with calling your sunbae with just his name, which Rocky insisted.
“Are you tired? We can stop for a while.” He went to the music player and stopped the music. You sat and leaned your back on the mirror. Rocky took the space and sat beside you.
Silence filled the two of you for a while as you decided to speak up. “I’ve been thinking about the notes and snacks I’ve been getting.” You looked at him and he gave you a curious look. “Snacks? Notes? What do you mean?”
“There’s someone who’s been leaving small notes together with snacks. It’s weird that I didn’t find those creepy but I’m curious and worried. I don’t know, but it made me feel better whenever I find those.” you trailed off as Rocky silently listened to you. You looked at him waiting for his response.
“Maybe that person truly cares about you. He went to that extent just to make you know or feel that he really cares, even if he knows it’s dangerous and against the rules, right?” You hummed at his answer. “ I see… but wait, why against the rules? And do you know the person? You seem to really know him.”
Rocky went silent for a while and stood up, reaching his hand to yours. You looked at him confusedly but reached his hands anyway. Before he starts the music, “
--
Weeks passed and your dance project with Astro members’ evaluation day will be held today. You’re in the waiting room together with your co-trainees and their partners. You looked at them and they seemed calm and can even laugh, while you can’t move on your own seat. You are calm when it’s your evaluations but now you weren’t.
“Hey, Y/N! Breathe!” Rocky tapped your shoulder and took his seat beside you. You let out a rather hard sigh, not realizing you were holding your breath. “I’m just nervous. What if I make a mistake? What if I just slipped, or lose my balance? What if I—“
“Hey.” Rocky held your hands and looked at you straight in the eye. “You got me. We’re partners here, right? We’ll work this performance together, after all those non-stop practices we had, you’ll stop here?”
“I’m just worried I’ll mess this up with you. I mean, you’re far greater than me and I don’t want to humiliate you or anything.” You sighed but he just squeezed your hands tighter. “We’ll not mess this up. C’mon, cheer up!”
He’s still staring right at you and you felt your heart thump. You slightly smiled at him as you nodded. “Mm, thank you.”
“Don’t stress yourself too much! You’re great and talented, okay? Remember when you covered my dance cover?” You slightly hit him as he waved goodbye to you as their leader called for them. You shook your head as you relaxed a bit.
You and Rocky will perform last so you went to the restrooms for a bit. As you get something from the pocket of your pants, a note fell on the ground. It was the first note you got that you keep with you anywhere. Upon reading it, you heard Rocky’s voice from earlier saying the exact same lines.
“But… I didn’t told him about…” Your heart started thumping nervously, not because of the evaluation, but because of the thought you made with the note.
You walked right back to the waiting room and you can’t believe what you just caught. It was Rocky, sticking a note in the usual drink you always get with the notes.
Part 3 will be found here! I cut it since it’s too long TT
