I'd like to start off this post with Hi my name is Demon Doll and I used to be called Starry Bunny. I'm a drag performer. I'm not much of a good performer yet but one day I hope to be amazing.

Introducing Me

Hi guys!

A little bit about me is I am 25 years old and I have been battling POTS for about 2 years now.  The thing with POTS is anything can cause it. Sometimes people are born with it, other times it is brought on by diseases or injuries. 

I got mine from a Traumatic Brain Injury. 

POTS affects your life drastically. It  is a malfunction of your autonomic nervous system. When we really think about it, there is so much of our body that is run by the autonomic nervous system. So when malfunctions occur our bodies go into fight or flight response because it is  our bodies natural way of dealing with illnesses. 

Personally I have to have a minimum of 5 to 6 grams of salt to even do basic functions, that equates to 5,000 milligrams or 6,000 milligrams of salt everyday. I cant reach this by myself so I have to take salt tablets to help me reach my goal. Without me taking them in the morning I cant function.

I do have my good days and bad days. The bad days make it hard to function even with the salt.  But I am taking it one step at a time. One day at a time. 

If you’re reading this, thank you. My goal is to inform others about this invisible disease.  It hard when you look “normal,” and looking normal causes no one to  understand you. Yet in reality we feel anything but normal because we aren’t normal, and our lives are  changed forever.

Chapter; Introduction

I'm a 25 year old girl, who's been living in Russia for over 5 and a half years, pursuing a medical degree. I'll be graduating in 3 months! Literally seems like only yesterday I step foot in this foreign land in hopes for new adventures. All aboard for the journey into my brain!

Harry may not have understood Dumbledore as he watched the Hogwart's headmaster empty silver thoughts into his Pensieve back in 1995, but out of all the tools used within the walls of Hogwarts, the Pensieve has to be my favourite. Of course, as I am not a witch I am unable to place my memories and thoughts into a magical bowl. However, thanks to modern technology, I can preserve them on the Internet. Just like a Pensieve, I can come and view them at my leisure, and I can share them with third parties (that's YOU). How exciting.

So far I know it may seem like I'm just another crazy Potterhead, wrapped up in Gryffindor paraphernalia, judging 'Muggles', quoting J.K Rowling in place of appropriate conversation... Well, first of all, the Sorting Hat put me in Ravenclaw (Pottermore does not lie), and second, I'm so much more than a geeky 29-year-old obsessed with a world meant for children. I'm also an English teacher, a wife, and a mum of three (now you know why I seem a little... odd - I am).

I wouldn’t say ALL of my memories - past or future - are super interesting, but I have had some interesting experiences and I’d like to write them down. Also, they may come in handy for future court appearances, but more on that later.

The topics I'll be rambling about 9 (and three-quarters) times out of 10 will probably be thought of at some ungodly hour of the morning I was SURE didn't actually exist before I had kids. And while I am a huge HP fan, and still maintain my mother hid my Hogwarts letter out of jealousy, this is my space to just off-load. My mind is a crazy place most of the time, and it gets a bit crowded with so many thoughts and feelings and memories bouncing around my brain.

So, feel free to dip in to the not-quite-gas-not-quite-liquid that is the inner workings of my mind. I can't promise that it will be as interesting as Harry's adventures in Dumbledore's memories, but I’ll try to make it fun.
