I found another issue w Sarah's books while I was falling asleep. what kinda "battle hardened daddy" kink does she have? every single love intrrest has fought in some kind of ancient war and is centuries older than their mate? like, aelin is max 21 by koa, feyre and bryce are somewhere in their mid/late 20s, but rowan and rhysand are at least 500 yrs old i think? and then hunt is like 2000 years old???

Lmao not gonna lie, I try hard not think about the massive age differences. I think feyre starts off at 19 and by the novella she’s 21. Aelin is 18-20 and wiki tells me Bryce is 23.

I think when rhysand was explaining his thoughts about when they first met he kept saying “and you were so young” like bro only a year has passed sis is still young??? I guess you can spin it and say the girls had to grow up fast and are more mature than the average, but it’s still weird that all the love interests have to be that old and that powerful. But also what ages them??? Like is Rhys older than say Lucien’s dad? I picture Lucien’s dad kinda wrinkly idk. Like they look young but why......how old until they start lookin like gramps??

aglaaaaya?

My otp for them: I love Aglaya/Yulia a lot! I think they’re dynamic and backstory is really intrresting! (And I will admit the Patholoveathon helped a lot in that regard. Really got me fired up for the pairing again, there is so much atmosphere!) 

My brotp for them: Hm... Aglaya for me is a very lonely person by nature. I guess it would be hypocritical of me to not name Artemy and there is a lot I find really interesting about their relationship. There’s also stuff bothering me though (that I don’t really want to dive deep in with a character meme because there is a lot of mixed and complex feelings as well as thoughts to unpack.) But I think especially through their ideology there’s a lot of interesting dynamics there. Also the campfire quest about Sticky makes me curious about the connection between Aglaya and Capella. That could be really interesting. They seemed to have interacted in both games (Capella is mentioned in the day 6 to 7 theater play in P2) and having the person who knows about the meta have a more friendly interaction with a mistress... yeah I definitely want more of that! 

Any other ships: I don’t know if I would call it a ship, but I think Aglaya and Lara have the potential for some really interesting interactions. It’s kind of the same reason I think Lara’s dislike for Yulia’s worldview is very interesting but it might run even deeper. Lara doesn’t really like the “bound by fate” ideology that Aglaya at least kind of thinks herself but both feel very hopeless in their life and are trying to struggle against that, even while believing in very different things. I think they would have something to say to each other. (Also they both hate Block. Which isn’t my argument but I guess it helps).

Their best friend: Inquisitor Orff, who is also their mentor. No really, I don’t know who I would call a friend and I actually think part of Aglaya’s tragedy is that she cannot really have friends by the nature of her role in the play. She is in such a position of power and judgement, that she has to distance herself and it’s... quite frankly it’s horribly sad.

My favorite nickname for them: Inquisitor? Sorry, I’m really bad with nicknames... It would be fun, if more people would call her Lilich though. Even though I don’t really think she likes her last name that much... 

My favorite AU of them: I just really want to hear about her backstory. The Inquisition is pretty interesting in general but I really want to know what Aglaya did and why she was condemned like that. (I mean... yeah on a meta level it doesn’t matter I know. But at least Patho 2 gives some hints and than there’s also the arg so... I can hope! Or imagine a cool backstory AU!!)

My favorite outfit they wear: I think her outfit is really cool already and I absolutely love it! As far as I remember it doesn’t change too much between Classic Patho and Patho 2. I like the vibe and the picture of her in Classic Patho a lot though and prefer it a teeny tiny bit over her Patho 2 version. A tiny bit, since both are gorgeous!

Defining color: Aglaya’s first color is crimson. The color of awareness of righteous anger and of destruction and creation alike. (And yes the irony of assigning her something akin to scarlet is not lost on me.) The second color in my opinion would be violet. The color of secrets, intellect, cleverness and distrust. It’s also a color described as being “ethereal” which was a reason, I was also considering silver. (Together with the fact that silver is resourceful and saves the realm from damage. But I think the meaning of magic and miracles doesn’t fit her as much as intellect and secrets.)

Would I date them: I really don’t think I could keep up with her. And I also already experience enough self doubt and existential crisis. So I will admire from afar. Maybe have a little date? I would buy her coffee...

First impression: God, she seems so cool!

Current impression: Oh god... where should I even start? So many complicated feelings I... I’m overwhelmed.
