*busts down door*
Self aware submas in your emulator app.
And they were eventually able to sneak their files out from the game.
You jolt from a sudden, loud call in the middle of the night. Which is weird, because you had it on silent and your ringtone is definitely not like the one from the Xtransceiver in your game.
You panic, already assuming that your phone has a bug because of the games and files you’ve downloaded for the emulator.
Nonetheless, you answer the call and awaited a familiar cutscene. Instead, the sprites of two minor characters appeared, and they have lots to discuss about with their darling gamer.
▽: Finally! We did it! I am Emmet and I have been waiting a looooong while to talk to you!
▲: Erm- I apologize for this abrupt call but… we could not wait any longer to meet you, finally. Just us three without the blockages of the game and codings… So, for the first time: Hello our darling.
You felt faint at the idea of the Subway Masters gaining consciousness and their only motive was to interact with you.
Nah, you’re probably still asleep.

I know I’ve been silent for quite some time, mainly because I don’t like it here anymore, but the Nancy Drew fandom is much stronger here than it is elsewhere, and I just need everyone to know that Apple is now allowing emulators on the App Store, which means you can now play the first six Nancy Drew games on your iPhone or iPad via the app called ScummVM. It’s a bit finicky to get working, since iOS’s file management sucks, and you have to disable the “UseDirectSound” setting in Game #1 and #2’s “game.ini” files, but still! I’m literally playing Stay Tuned for Danger ON MY FUCKING PHONE. IM SO EXCITED!!
Also, the iPad version of the app has full iPadOS cursor support, so if you have a Smart Connector trackpad or Bluetooth mouse, you can literally play the games, as they were designed, ON AN IPAD!

my sibling got me the aai remaster for my birthday and it's actually such a quality port, the new sprites are lovely, you can still use old sprites + music, the ui is edgeworth-themed, they included all kinds of previously jp-only art and the orchestral soundtrack in the gallery, you unlock little achievements as you go even on the switch version, lots of qol options in the settings....just so good, definitely my favorite of the many many releases of assorted aa games i've played over the years. it's what he deserves

isnt it crazy that someone can make a completely legal app for ios but if apple doesn't want it in its app store because of lol lmao reasons you have to then go through a gazillion loops just to get this one app and also millions of people buy apple's products because they don't see the problem with an operating system that fully controls what you can or can't have on your device and also has several other major problems. insane

So, you just downloaded Delta, the first fully featured game emulator in the Apple App Store, now what?
🤷‍♂️ IDK, good luck! Just, whatever you do, don’t click this link:

Unfinished Gameboy cover of Antonymph by Vylet Pony, made in LSDJ. It currently sounds really empty, and I probably won’t finish it since I’m moving into college next week, but I thought I’d post it anyway.

Last night became a win-win. I noticed an app called Delta was approved by Apple Computers and it allowed players to download ROMs from the likes of NES, Game Boy, Game Boy Advance and Nintendo 64 games. The latter motivated me to get Donkey Kong 64, connected my Nintendo Switch Pro Controller to my iPad as usual and finally got around to play it! It was the first time I experienced my own personal ROM emulator for the iPad, but it's crazy Apple Computers hit a home run with approving it. Playing DK64 while hyping up for its themed expansion at Universal Studios is starting to look awesome, even despite waiting for King K. Rool's gloriously official return. and not counting that 2018 so-called fighting game fuk dat shit
May simply have to watch a walkthrough of the entire game, so who needs Nintendo Switch Online when you've got Delta by your side? ;)
