Hey there you two!! I wonder, how do you guys feel about the rest of the crew (and each other)? I’m assuming you guys have been living together for quite some time now after what happened in the Land of Forgotten Memories :0

And Bagel immediately left as soon as we got settled in. He said he was going to work on remaking a project, I think?

actual honest to god conspiracy theory about that one scene in failgex deluxe because @funthirtythreethirty asked me about it

So there’s that one scene in Failgex Deluxe where all of a sudden the original Failgex’s Wincar appears. Neither of the two characters know what’s going on or how this happened, but I have an idea.

Failgex Wincar became a memetic entity or something similar.

You’re definitely looking at me like I’m crazy right now (which, to be fair, I am crazy.) but I’ve got some loose plot threads to back it up:

Failgex 1 and 2 Wincar just… materializes, in front of his counterpart in Failgex Deluxe. That’s really weird. Wouldn’t it be more likely for him to have been sent through a portal?

Well also, remember, at the end of Failgex Chapter 2, Wincar was corrupted. I happen to have a link to the Failgex Chapter 3 script sitting in my Google Docs, and while that is cut content, it was also said that Failgex Deluxe would take elements from that scrapped chapter. In the script, the effects of the corruption include Rez having total control of the victim’s body, and a personality shift that basically turns them evil. What if Failgex 1 and 2 Wincar got booted out of his body, left to wander the Media Dimension, until he somehow found his way into the mind of Failgex Deluxe Wincar, who according to the itch.io page, is also “succumbing to the corruption of the  interdimensional mecha overlord of the media dimension.” Basically, something about the corruption and its link to the Media Dimension is letting these two interact.

However, that same quote on the itch.io page could also refer to the ending scene, which is much more likely and completely destroys this theory. Dump all the salt on this before consuming it.
