hi heres art so you pay attention to me now go read the tags
#ive been rewatching episode 7 like its the only thing on youtube and made note of many things#first off. the solver can only have one host. nori mentions skyn wants to kill off all the other solver hosts (with the dds) and disregards#the idea of both uzi and doll being its current host when they get chased#plus the main solver possessions only occur when skyn is out of the picture (the fightt in ep 7 is only after n decapitates “tessa”)#solver uzi is possible too but i dont count her cause she doesn't have the yellow#personal theory is that its more an instinctual response to overheating or something and not full on possession#second off nori calls the solver cyn. how does she know that name#cyn was on earth and only showed up to copper 9 recently and i presume nori's been here her whole life#it probably wasn't the other dds cause none of them made it down and they're all more savage beasts#since cyn specifies n's team retained their personalities and that makes me think the other teams didnt#also also we should've immediately questioned tessa arriving in the same type of pod as the mds when they were revealed to not be sent by j#im running out of characters also the people who dont like when i use tags like this can bite me#murder drones#murder drones nori#artori? that sounds cool#ill probably just stick with nori though#i have so many solver heart refs now#art#episode 7#murder drones episode 7#murder drones episode 7 spoilers#using the same black for shadows as my lineart doesn't work when i have to draw thin things over it#murder drones spoilers

#wip#I finished the panels and speech bubbles so I’m taking a break to get an ice cream sandwich then coming back to do lineart#Honestly the worst thing about making these comics is that I can’t depict some of the stuff I really want to depict#Bc decent storytelling requires restraint#But I think a lot about everything and so I put an unnecessary amount of thought into this shit that I can’t reasonably add to the comic#Without making it feel out of character or just sorta tonally weird (admittedly I feel like I stretch it too thin as it is)#The reason I do these besides just bc I like making them and it’s fun is bc I am fascinated with Chilchuck as a character#And I have a very specific idea of his life based on the crumbs Ryoko Kui leaves us#Which I wanna. Like. Force other ppl to witness I guess 😭#But character exploration without any proper storytelling to frame it is boring to me#like I might as well just write it all out in an essay at that point#Anyways all that to say that I am annoyed that my comic about what Chilchuck saw when he said he saw his dad on the other side#Doesn’t leave room for me to show that I think his dads death indirectly led to Meijack being born and clarify why and how I think that hap#And that the whole sequence of events there is too long and unrelated to reasonably fit into those little extras I do sometimes

iiii am torn on it. I love ranma so I would very much enjoy watching ranma and akane fall in love in a new iteration...but I also really hate how it looks!!! more so now that I'm rewatching the OG bc it's soooo gorgeous.. I'll have to see how I feel by the time it's out!
#why are colors in anime so ugly now!!!#and the lineart has no texture!!!! its just thin little lines w no weight no nothing...#isnt even a 90s anime exclusive thing i rewatched wagnaria recently#and s1 came out in like what 2013 and it looked so good#but s3 from 2018 looked so cheeks w ugly colors and lineart#anyway atsuko nakajima's designs are just too amazing they could never hope to top them for a new ranma

I will main tag my oc stuff it's fine Im allowed to#isat#isat king#isat oc#unsure wether to tag new game+ since this isnt new game+ chiffre but yknow#anyways. extremely self indulgent doomed toxic yuri king posting. feel free to look away#also this isnt a headcanon scene or anything I just was listening to the song and wanted to draw smth based off that one part#however post game chiffre is indeed pissed nonetheless#but a lot of that anger is at herself since she feels like she's partially at fault for things getting as bad as they did#ok ok enough chiffre talk lets talk abt the character that famously everyone cares abt. the king <3#he was surprisingly fun to draw in this actually it wasnt until the colors that I started screaming and punching things#mainly because doing the highlights for his armor is soooo much more tedious with thin lineart#but the real hell was shading this since I accidentally merged the highlights with the other colors and didnt notice until Far too late#obnoxious stuff! but I survived#amyways theres parts of this I dont rly like but I think it turned out quite nice so I will be posting it
