could you explain how you draw the hair in ur posts it looks so good :(

hello! here's a quick run down on how i draw my hair. please keep in mind, i am not an artist. this is something i still work on and change every time i edit!

you can truly use any brush set you'd like. as for me, i can't link the exact brushes i use as i've curated my own over the years (and they're pulled from different packs.) but a great place to start would be these + a 1pt default brush

step 1: base layer. i select the darkest color from the hair i am using, and set the blend mode to multiply. i then adjust the opacity accordingly, i think here i set it to about 20%

step 2: base layer highlights. select the lightest part of your hair, change the blend mode to screen. i use a chunky brush to follow the natural flow of the hair

step 3: secondary highlights, using a slightly smaller brush i go in and add "volume" to the base highlights.

step 4: single strand highlights. again, follow the shape of your base highlights. i use a 1pt brush. with this step, i start to lighten my color selection. (please note: going forward, i continue to lighten my color every time i add to the hair )

step 5: more highlighting.. yeah, yeah that's all this is really. add volume and movement.

step 6: we keep going! add in some 'flyaway' highlights. make sure you're continuing to lighten your color selection!

step 7: once you're pretty satisfied with where your highlights are, go ahead and add in your shading and lighting. use a soft brush with the color black, and set to blend mode to multiply. add in the shading. then, use the same brush with white, set the mode to screen and add in your bright spots.

step 8: strands, flyaways, the fun part! select your base color again, and experiment with adding in strands. you can really do this however you want. don't forget to go over your strands with highlights as well, using the same method above.

step 9: (optional) add in some lighting. select a light yellow, and set your blend mode to overlay. add in strands where your light hits. (again optional, but i added more shading on elia in general, so it darkened the other half of her hair. you don't need to do this)

step 10: run your actions, or add your film grain, and bam. you're all done

pleeease keep in mind, this is all done with trial and error. (like, even seeing this now, i see where i could improve!! ah!) anyway. it seems overwhelming at first, but if you genuinely enjoy editing, it becomes calming and fun! i definitely still have a lot to learn, but i hope this was somewhat helpful.

that sentence had kaiser reflecting for a bit. "huh. i suppose you have a point for once, ness." the prodigy felt himself get a little flushed. "you're treating her so rough, how often does she even ask for money.?" ness continued. "don't be so harsh man! she's trying..."

the emperor tsked. "if she's so 'perfect' you take her then." he grumbled. jeez this guy is really helpless man... ness looked at kaiser disgusted for the first time.

"keep acting like that and she's bound to become who you think she really is." ness thought as he picked himself up and left kaiser to his thoughts.

later within the night, kaiser found himself scrolling through your photos after sending you some money (oh need that.) it hit him you were gorgeous. pretty face with a kind heart.. he was going to go insane.

the more he scrolled the more he admired your beauty. you radiated an aura that he just couldn't place his finger on. perfection was a word too vague to describe it.

shaking his head, he set his phone down. hands on his head, he was wondering. what the literal hell was he doing.? all he's ever done was treat you like shit because he had such horrendous experiences with others.

"yes, you have money is definitely a positive trait but, you have more to it. money isn't the only thing that makes you lovable." you continued to ramble. his hands released yours. you were caught in his embrace.

"mihya.?" you whispered. kaiser knew how scary it was to love someone. the amount of devotion you must give. the time and effort. one wrong move? it could all crumble.

his embrace got tighter, you were tensing a little bit up. was he gonna beat you like what the heck is goin' on?! he knew you were always running away from love, 'cause your daddy never gave you enough :((
